An Ode To Omega:
Yes, I came to your site via Jezebel. I am actually glad that I did because I had no idea this kind of mentality still existed (although it is nothing new…men typically want a whore in the bedroom and a mother in the kitchen. I thought we were all trying to get past that?). I went through a range of emotions regarding the ‘slut’ post before writing this comment. It may be too late in the ‘game’ to expect a reply but I will try and be brief.
I am approaching 40, never married, no children. Do I regret some of the choices that I made? Yes. Can I take them back? No. This is a human experience.
The choices I made had nothing to do with whether or not I thought a man might find them offensive, unattractive or make me a negative on the sexual market. I made these choices because they were mine to make and I wanted to make them. As a human in a free society believe that they have choices, so did I. I wanted to travel, so I did. I wanted to have various sexual and social experiences, so I did.
It seems that opinion is that physical beauty + chastity are the only qualifiers (for women) to have a meaningful life. I disagree. It may make sense on a Darwinian level (I understand that that is what PUA’s are saying), but for me life is more than who I can attract for sex or child rearing.
I have never understood marriage or monogamy. It seems contrary to human nature (I realize as a slut I am proving your point). However, not all men desire these things either.
I have one other image to put in your head…….
Imagine you are in a horrible accident.. a car crash that leaves you mentally and/or physically disabled..would you still have hope? Would you hope that someone might still love you, despite your physical deformity ( age)? As humans I think we all do.

It may be hard on you, but 90% of the doctorates out there are useless. Some areas (i.e sociology) are entirely useless, some others (biology), much less so. Most universities are useless in all areas

WHat most doctorates serve for, unfortunately, is to rationalize why they are useful despite generating nothing for society and to create panic in order to justify funding. That describes 95% of doctorates

Lastly, doctorates appeal top those who want low risk and stable payment professions. Those caveats can be ignored if the person is a genius. But for the normal, average folks, to chose a doctorate is to chose the unmanly path

Just wanted to send you an interesting link about something called “The Good Guy Contract” or, as you may put it, “The Beta Male Contract”. Definitely could be useful in expounding on the Beta trait of saying “yes” to everyone. The article advocates men stop being the “nice guy”.

I intensely disliked you at first. Might still dislike you. Honestly, it may have been your readers more than you. 3. having enough money to pay for chicks on non crappy first dates if need be
4. having a good social circle
5. having your own place
6. being well groomed

9. working out and having a well built body
10. clean face, teeth and good haircut
11. smell good, manly cologne
12. be successful at something the girl can admire

ALL THESE THINGS ARE NOT GAME, THEY ARE THINGS I KNEW INTUITIVELY (as did most normal people) AT 17 THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE.

Game is psychological techniques of getting stuff that you shouldn’t be able to get normally. There are gurus that claim that the subconscious (illogical) parts of the female brain can be activated using game to cause her to cheat on her boyfriend in the toilet with a guy she met recently, who is short skinny and bald, and it will work on ALMOST ANY CHICK. I have yet to see any proof that such “game” exists.

There are women who are out to have fun (and some are consciously prepared to act slutty whereas others are vulnerable/drunk or open to it). Also there are chicks who are very loyal to their boyfriends. Saying that you can approach any chick having NONE of the traditional good points for a man (see above) and systematically be able to induce “gina tingles” so high on the richter scale that she will spread her legs in a jiffy and the predictability of a robot, seems to me like a religion without any substantiated fact. It seems like wishful thinking marketed to guys who would do better to improve in the above NORMAL areas (read: not game) … which improve their LIFE … rather than teaching them specialized tips and tricks that can supposedly induce trance-like irrational desire in women, so strong, that it surpasses anything she feels for a guy with the “normal” traits I listed above.

Pickup artist talk and marketing materials are laden with expressions like
“doggy dinner bowl eyes”
“fucked me in the toilets”
“OMG where did you come from? I have to know you”
“creamed her pants”
“she is ready to lick your dick”
“there are no sluts, every girl is like this” (implication: my methods work on every girl)

Do you consistently get 10s to give you doggy dinner bowl eyes and want to fuck you? Then you are doing something right and I want to learn from you. I would even pay you $3,000 for a seminar. But I have never seen any evidence from anyone that can back this up. It’s all anecdotal videos with open-minded girls in clubs and on the street. The guy probably failed 20 times before he succeeded.

Before I finish up there is one more distinction to be made, which also seems pretty obvious to me. Almost anyone can get laid if they lower their standards enough. Guys get into the game in order to get THE GIRLS THEY WANT, to want them. Pure and simple. Sleeping with 384 unattractive women will not get you to your goal of getting 1 really attractive girl to love you. So it’s important to me what the guy’s success rate is ONLY AMONG THE CHICKS THAT I WANT – which are 9s and 10s. When a guru speaks about picking up chicks he should be able to tell me what his success rate is with getting 9s and 10s to want him, and how badly. If his rate is worse than mine, why would I learn from him?

I suspect my rate is already higher than 99% of guys including gurus, and yet it’s not where I want it to be. THat is why I would want to learn from Mystery, or whoever, who can PROVE to me that they get consistent results, and not just film anecdotal videos.

I am personally pretty pissed at the pickup community as a whole, for wasting my time with outrageous promises, promising me the moon when in reality I would have done better to work on the NORMAL things that everyone knows are attractive, and would be much further ahead in life. These guys advocate doing cold approaches and practicing low value behavior of coming up to people on the street (like beggars do) many times a day, in order to get 10s. They say to break rapport and say things picking routines that make you sound like a guy who is miscalibrated and conceited (see Love Systems routines manual) which would nosedive your rep in any decent social circle, including your own. They encourage you to dump your friends and go join up with a group of other guys trying to get better at meeting women, and buy their products. Except the fact is, there is no evidence that their techniques make you into a ROCKSTAR PIMP WIELDING PSYCHO SEXUAL GAMES, but there is amble evidence that they make guys even more weird and awkward and harm their social lives when they could instead have been working on getting more attractive the normal way. You’re not going to live forever. You can learn psychological techniques when you’re old and poor. Right now focus on being young and successful.

it must be a pain in the ass to read in English (looks like it’s translated by a guy not very familiar with american culture/language). I read the original, but it all comes down to the same thing:
* attraction, “judgement module” works on a very primitive, ancient, instictive level. Women don’t exactly like alpha logically (until they had a chance to experience and compare perhaps), but it’s a necessary evolutionary device.
* thus attraction “module” is not exactly precise. It is not looking for “alpha male” seeing right through your act, it’s trying to catch as many alphas as possible via catching very simple, primitive traits and behaviour sequences, something on the level a lizard would recognize, shiny-not shiny. Well, perhaps a bit more complex, but you get the idea.

So “outer game” is pretty much consciouscly replicating sequences that were, by trial and error, determined to be alpha. Neg, teasing, C+F…
Bigger goal is actually becoming more alpha so you replicate all that without knowing. As the same guy puts it, if it’s possible for wolves to raise a human child as a wolf, it’s certainly possible to obtain some/enough alpha traits.

As far as actually figuring out and summarizing those attractive sequences, how and why they work, not sure that’s even possible any time soon. You can share and sift with trial and error, that’s what “community” is. Though I’d love to hear some routines that are crutches that make you look as alpha and make women release the inner slut on you, as 11minutes described sometime. I don’t believe strawberry fields or the cube is that, sorry. Even marry-fuck-kill is rather contrived if you do it word by word.

I heard mystery speak the other day. According to mystery, 9s and 10s he met 30 minutes ago fight one another to go home with him, on a weekly basis.

Except this time I actually agreed with a lot of what he said. Because he eschewed talking about routines and just talked about structure. That stuff I definitely agree with. Basically IF you are able to get the sequence of events happening:

By that standard, the 10s would not be interested in 99.99999% of all men. Which is probably true, but for other reasons.

Dave sorry bro but isn’t short selling the most stupid thing you could ever do?

At some point along the timline of shortselling aren’t you guaranteed to hit a stock that goes up lets say 50 percent in value?

And at the point that would happen it would look like this:

100,000 invested.

stock goes from 10 to 15 dollars a share overnight.

You now have to buy back the shares at 15 and now owe 50 g’s over what you have in.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Or like what happened with vw and people where oweing like 20 times investment.

So yea they invested 100,000 and now owe 1.9 million dollars.

Kind of sounds like the right investment if you eventually want to owe a shitload of money.

There’s a simple way to limit your downside, if you want to bet against stocks: buy puts on them instead of shorting the stock. As with shorting, you’ll profit from the stock tanking, but in the case of buying puts, your maximum loss is limited to what you paid for the put. You can use my site to screen for candidates to buy puts on as well as to short.

I don’t limit myself to buying puts, because I believe there are often better short selling candidates among stocks that aren’t big enough to have options traded on them. There is of course a risk that I will lose money on some trades, but by limiting myself to stocks that a highly accurate model predicts are headed for bankruptcy, I believe the odds are on my side. Also, unlike VW, stocks on the verge of bankruptcy would seem to be less likely to spike up in value significantly.

What’s really stupid, in my opinion, is to run a long-only portfolio. Anyone who did that last year got his head handed to him. I believe it’s more prudent to have some long positions, some short positions (whether puts or actual shorts), and some hedges.

But it does happen. Sprint went up 20 percent today. One day. Same hypothetical scenerio you would owe 20 g’s.
In the next few days sprint will be at 4 bucks. which would be 33 percent. So that would be 33 k in a week or so.

Either way the stock market sucks compared to small business but it does give a sense of achievement if you win and it sounds cool to say you play the market.

And puts you lose all value if you don’t make money.

But yea ok if you could limit yourself to like 5 percent of portfolio sure maybe.

But 20 percent of 5 k is only a grand.

And we all have seen people at the casino pumping in quarters.

If all of your money is in one position, short or long, obviously you are taking on a huge risk. If you understand what you are doing, shorting (or buying puts) can reduce the overall risk of your portfolio. That’s why many professional investors incorporate shorting into their overall portfolio strategies.

That’s also why I have added short positions (and hedges) to my portfolio. During the next market correction, all of my positions won’t be going in the same direction at the same time.

As a stock market investor and a small businessman, I think that’s a pointlessly invidious statement. There are inherent risks and potential upsides to both.

You can definitely make money investing in rental properties. But, like anything else, there are risks and you have to do your homework. I’m sure there are folks who got burned in real estate in the last few years who are now saying, “fuck the real estate market”. Everyone has to find his way. Stocks may not be your way. That’s cool.

For the rest of you, I’d suggest taking a look at the site if you do invest in stocks. There’s no bullshit or unrealistic promises about the member tools, and I back up what I write with footnotes including links to relevant academic studies. I’ve done extensive research on this, and I eat my own cooking — I’m using the screener on this site to short stocks myself.

In any case, GLTA whatever you approach you take.

The reference to Christina Hendricks was an aside at the end of a long interview where Fetherstone was asked what she thought of her she said she was fabulous. Which is a perfectly fair comment.

I never realised she was a size 14. I think that’s a 10 in the US. I always got confused in Pretty Woman where they said in the shop Julia Roberts was a 10 or 12 and she looked massive to me.

You’re right though, it’s easier to be a stick thin type than have the curves of Christina Hendricks (as if you try and do that without the natural genetics, you run the risk of being fat).

I joined the seduction community a few years ago to be better with women. But I had the chance to be naturally alpha in many other parts of my life.

Now I see clearly two approaches that can be found in this community :

1) lonely and needy guys are frustrated with women and want to find techniques to end this frustration. They start to imitate behaviours they think alpha people do in order to get results quickly. But inside, they are still creepy and needy. For them, fucking women is a goal because of past frustrations…

2) lonely and needy guys are frustrated and realize they have a problem. So they start to improve several aspects of their personnality. This self improvement allow them to start to feel the game, instead of learning it. They rarely use routines. Women see the self-improvment and are interested. In this approach, fucking women is more a consequence of the self-improvment, not the goal… At the end they are not creepy and needy anymore.

What I see on this website are weird little kids trying to imitate alpha behaviors, doing little stupid games like finding “beta” people on the Internet and spending hours and hours sending comments about how cool and alpha they are…

The point is that paternity was ambiguous and it was effectively up to the mother to name her child’s father, or not… Many men have, of course, ended up raising children who were not genetically their own, but really, does it matter…in making paternity conditional on a test rather than the say-so of the mother, it has removed from women a powerful instrument of choice.

What if every time American women went into pharmacies to get our prescriptions for birth control pills refilled, pharmacists required us to reveal our marital status, and then further required all married, female patients to bring our husbands into the store to sign a consent form before the prescribed contraceptives would be handed over?

Or how about this: what if a woman went to a plastic surgeon seeking a breast reduction, but the doctor told her that before he could proceed, the woman would need to present a signed, notarized note from her hubby confirming that he was really okay with the big stepdown in his wife’s bra size that would result from the surgery?

These scenarios sound completely farfetched, right? I mean, women would raise hell if doctors or pharmacists tried to force us to disclose marital status and/or require us to get signed consent from our husbands before we could access reproductive health services or other medical care.

But would it surprise you to learn that apparently, many doctors in this country REALLY DO require men who come to them seeking vasectomies to ‘fess up to marital status, and to then get their wives’ written consent before the physician will perform the procedure? In some cases, doctors require a face to face meeting with a man’s wife – in addition to the signed consent from her – before a vasectomy will be performed.

My question to her: Why should they?

What do you have to offer these men you call child-men if they do man up? Are you going to ensure that they have fair access to their children should they divorce? Will you make sure that they aren’t hauled off to jail if the wife makes false accusations of domestic violence? Will you let them keep the earnings and property that they worked for over years rather than have them turned over to their wife, even if she cheated and was abusive? Will you shield the millions of men who live in fear of their significant other but have nowhere to turn for help? Will you make marriage, in other words, as valuable to men as you think it is for women?

A Brooklyn judge ordered a teen to live with his homeless dad — in a shelter — after the boy’s mom, a $90,000-a-year court worker, was critical of the legal process, court papers reveal.

Jeannette Traylor was even denied visitation rights — despite the fact that the 17-year-old boy’s dad, John Jacobs, “has been living in storefronts and borrowed rooms and basements” for years, according to the court papers….

The couple broke up in 1994, not long after their son was born. They shared joint custody for a period, until a judge gave Traylor primary physical custody in 2001.

But Jacobs refused to accept that decision.

So over the next decade, he and Traylor — a court clerk in Manhattan Supreme Court and a 30-year employee of the system — wound up filing more than two-and-a-half dozen petitions and motions.

Their battle culminated with Family Court Judge Bernard Graham’s ruling earlier this month taking custody from Traylor and giving it to Jacobs.

Court papers reveal a 2008 allegation by the teen that Traylor struck him with an umbrella, a charge she denies.

The judge’s decision also shows that Traylor had been arrested several times, but notes that she has never been convicted of anything. Traylor said all the arrests were at her husband’s request.

Before rendering his final decision, the judge took a swipe at Traylor for being “quick to offer barbed criticism of the court and the legal process.”

In the end, the judge said, his decision was based on the wishes of the boy, a junior at a Brooklyn Catholic high school where his mother pays the tuition.

The teen demanded to live with his father, telling the court that Traylor was “self-absorbed” and uninterested in his issues, the court said.

She asks, “Who–over the age of 25–believes that investing most of your time and energy in attracting another person means that you’re gaining power over them?” What this dripping bucket of musty putrescence misapprehends is that Alphas do NOT invest most of their time and energy in attracting another person; indeed, that is the point. The whole paradigm is investing as little time and energy as possible in the target while displaying higher value.

The twist to the article is that the original scientist said that these differences do exist and used the skulls as evidence. Stephen J Gould, a famous biologist, disputed the claim saying it was “racist” and dismissed it without, as the article said, even reexamining the evidence.

I found your blog a few weeks back, and i found it so interesting, I ended up reading most of your entries dating back to a few years, just within a week. I am glad that I found it, and I hope that your blog reaches out to even more people, because people (especially men) need to read this! With so much social preaching and cute lies going on in movies and sitcoms, and newspapers articles, it becomes difficult for a sane man (and specially young men) to cut through the bullshit and see the truth about genders and human sexuality. I am from Delhi, India, and in the recent years, the newspapers and TV channels have become so filled with feminist preachings, that it sometimes makes me sick. As if it is not enough to be bombarded from all sides about the supposed ‘double standards’ and the supposed evil of ‘patriarchy’, it is worse to see other young men actually arguing their case.! I think most men just are not able to take a stand in this situation because of lack of real information, and they just go with the flow. I think if more such men found your blog (and related blogs that I have read till now), it would help open their eyes and take a stand about the state of affairs.

On a side note, recently the cabinet in our country passed a law which among other changes added a separate ‘irrevocable damage to marriage’ as grounds for divorce which is if not exactly the same as your ‘no-fault divorce’, but is somewhere along those lines. Interestingly it can only be appealed by the wives! The changes have all been demanded by the women’s organization. We have a ministry for women and children (but not for men!). Another law making the rounds is trying to make the mother the first guardian of the child and not the father, because supposedly (quote) “the fathers use children as pawns to demand the submissiveness of their wives”. WTF. I don’t know where our country is headed in this matter, but when I read the justifications given by women’s organizations for the changes in law, it makes my head swell. The men here are already suffering the brunt of anti-dowry and Domestic Violence Acts which hugely favors women.

Anyways, thanks for such great posts. I hope more men find these blogs, and it helps keep their head sane.
