Schoolboy, Roissy did an analysis of this before with Obama, but the basic point is that Alpha is an objective standard, not an internal subjective question. If it walks like an alpha, and talks like an alpha, and can get laid like an alpha, well, it’s an alpha, and Obama could fuck Beyonce if he wanted to.
As for “inside he’s a shaking beta”, the man, you know, chose to run for the Presidency of the United States, got up in front of thousands of people every day and fucking killed the speeches, then debated John McCain and owned him, and has the entire MSM fellating him. What’s so beta about that?

The Science in Society blog has posted a response to recent swine flu news, putting it in perspective with previous flu pandemics. Here is a piece comparing flu intervention in 1918 and today. An excerpt:
Just how important is starting countermeasures early, and what kind of interventions work? The tragedy of the Spanish flu provides a natural laboratory for public health measures, as cities throughout the US differed both in scale and timing of their interventions.
Medical science in 1918 was still getting on its feet. The majority of older physicians of the time were not educated under the scientific regimen of the Flexnerian revolution. The leading bacteriologists of the day mistakenly believed that influenza was a bacterial disease, and it was not until 1943 when it was recognized that a virus was responsible. As a result, medical intervention in the pandemic was of questionable value, not least because most of the best doctors had been drafted to serve in the military for WWI.
However, nonmedical interventions were also employed. These included quarantines, isolation of the sick in makeshift wards, closure of public gathering places such as churches and schools. Quick action (as measured by when flu cases rose to double the baseline number of cases) had a strong correlation with reduced mortality, and that maintaining the measures was important to keep the disease from spreading.
St. Louis, for example, closed schools and canceled public gatherings early, and maintained quarantines for over ten weeks, leading to a significantly lower mortality rate. However, not all cities were as proactive; the median duration of these interventions was only four weeks, insufficient to protect the population. Some cities were even counterproductive: Philadelphia hosted a military parade to promote war bonds, over the objections of numerous doctors and public health officials. Soon afterwards, it became one of the hardest-hit cities in the US.

The reason the whole MSM is fellating him is because he’s their ideological dream come true. He is exactly what they and their left of center and definitely politically correct predecessors have been propagandizing the American public to elect for the last twenty years especially, with foundational work the twenty before that. Hollywood has been especially pouring on the heat with stud black male / white female sex and relationship pairings all the time the last several years. MTV and VH1 have been up the kiddies on this for a couple of decades.
When you’ve got that kind of support from the MSM, and know they aren’t going to pick everything you do apart but instead find the good in all and minimize any slip ups, it’s just a bit ego supporting and boosting. It’s almost as if you’re playing in rigged game. Almost? Wait, what …
Both principal totalitarian nations during WWII, Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany had as part of their core doctrine that the key first offensive prize in any capital or major regional city was the radio station and secondarily newspaper outlets. Yeah when the media speaks with nearly one voice it matters just a bit.

Here we are getting into Male/Female definitions of Alpha.
Is Obama Alpha with women? Sure. Women LOVE the guy, would do anything he asked. The fact that he poses around like a super-Sized Sanjaya and has the media screaming like teen girls or post-menopausal women for him makes him Alpha to women.
But then, that applies to Ruben Studdard, Gay Claiken, that “Soul Patrol” guy, and Carrot Top’s evil twin, all of whom won American Idol and generated screams of pre-teen girls and overaged haus fraus.
Are they Alpha?
Sure, for women. Not for men.
Obama is easily rolled by any tough guy who shoves him around, you can’t be Alpha to men and kiss the ring and grovel to some Saudi King. You just can’t. No man really respects Obama, much less after he nods and agrees when some two-bit dictator like Chavez or Ortega trashes America. Or kisses Ahmadnutjob’s behind.
WOMEN love that, because women love it when American men kiss the ass of any two-bit foreigner. But men HATE it. Almost no straight man can really respect Obama.
In a way Obama is the exact mirror image, reversed, of Bush. The media hated Bush and fawns over Obama like pre-teen girls. Bush was hated by women and liked/resepected by men. Bush did not hesitate to threaten foreigners, and went to war twice to make his point. Obama kisses the ass of every enemy America has, and acts like a petulant schoolgirl with allies. Bush simply ignored the requirement to sell his policies, and Obama does nothing but sell himself. Bush did not care about how the fairly feminized Media and women perceived his policies, and never bothered to defend them or himself. Obama cares only about how women and the feminized media perceives him, and pursues marginal “enemies” who don’t matter: Rush Limbaugh, Rick Santelli, or Joe the Plumber.
Bush was a very “manly” President, right down to the typical male response of ignoring female concerns, voters, image and so on. Obama is a profoundly “female” President and won the Presidency by winning the female vote 70-29.
If Bush was the ultimate, nerdy High Beta type guy, oblivious to women’s perceptions, Obama is Sanjaya.

The thing about Obama is – in the long run, he is a dream come true for the center and the right.
The MSM will continue to worship him even when his approval rating falls below 50% and down to 40%. The MSM will see this, get angry, and attack the public directly. The public will finally give the MSM the retaliation that it deserves.
Give it time. Remember – the best thing about extremists is that they always go too far. We saw that with AQ in Iraq, are seeing that with the Miss CA/Gay marriage circus, and will see that with the MSM.

Questions :
1) Every time I practice Game, I am starting to worry if the woman will manufacture ‘date rape’ charges, because I have money. Do the guys here who sleep with multiple women in a year worry about this? If not, why not?
2) Yet, it seems that a lot of ordinary men (Beta providers, in most cases) are not under a Sword of Damocles regarding divorce from their wives. They get by, and their lives seem easy (if sexually boring). It seems that many women are not screwing their husbands in divorce court, despite the ability to do so, and boredom with their husbands. How many women are still ‘normal’ in this regard?
If we are getting to a point where any romantic interaction with a woman has to be viewed as a ruinous court case, then there is no reason to live in a Western country for a single day longer.

Obama is the best thing to happen to the right-wing.
Always keep in mind that, regardless of Bush’s alpha qualities, in the end, Bush was a liberal. Maybe he was not as extreme as any of the Democrats, but he existed on the same liberal continuum as the rest of the Democratic Party. He supported (at the time) massive increases in government spending, the prescription drug program, No Child Left Behind, the mortgage mess…etc., etc.
With Obama in the White House and the purging of the RINOS, the left in this country is in the perfect position to be led over the cliff by the Moron-in-Chief. When Obama is done, you will never have another Democrat president in office again.
Obama is the David Dinkins of the presidency.
The right should rejoice.

“A genuine tough guy like Putin is going to make Obama his bitch.”
I’m not so sure. Putin and guys like Kim Jong-Il and Ahmadinejad were able to “push” the U.S. around during Bush’s term because they knew that Bush had no traction domestically much less internationally. Obama has the press on his side (which is a huge factor) as well as a majority of the public while also enjoying a favorable opinion in the rest of the world. Whether this is deserved or not, Obama can pretty much do what he wants.
So, I’m not saying that Obama is going to enact the correct policies when dealing with Russia, Iran, N.K., but I don’t think he’ll be forced into anything by a more alpha leader. The U.S. now has more power on their side in international diplomacy than under Bush.
Now, if Obama wants to turn a blind eye while Iran and Russia get stronger, that’s his decision, but it has nothing to do with Obama’s weakness versus foreign leaders as it has to do with his misguided policies and assessment of the situation.
Regardless, yes, the media are beta.

You make some interesting points but the 70-29 number at best only applies to SINGLE women who typically vote overwhelmingly for the Democrat.
Obama only got about 47% of the overall White female vote and a smaller percentage of the White married women vote.
He pretty much got 100% of the black female vote.
Tood – The thing about Obama is – in the long run, he is a dream come true for the center and the right.
Obama has kept Bush’s Sec of Defense Gates, brought in a Republic General Jones as NSA and kept Republican Robert Mueller as FBI director. Many on the national security team in the Obama administration are White Republican men.
How do you explain that?
A genuine tough guy like Putin is going to make Obama his bitch.

This kinda reflects on the alphaness of Obama. I know you hate him personally and point to his wife and scream beta, but just look at the difference in the way he enters the room and addresses the crowd and how they respond to his presence. I’m sure the exact same thing would happen if Obama were massively conservative but carried himself in the same manner.
Bush manifested his incompetence frequently and it was plainly obvious he was always being manipulated by somebody else. Whether you agree with his policies or not, and I personally hate Obama’s policies, you have to recognize the massive alpha capital that is Obama.
Whiskey is probably right about being alpha to men vs women, however.

A lot of the difference probably has to do with when those 2 videos were shot. Bush’s video was I think it said February, 2008, 7 years after he began office, while Obama’s was May 1 of this year, 5 months after beginning office. By that time Bush’s reputation had been butchered by the media already. Also, even at that time people were more focused on what was going on between Hillary and Obama than with what Bush was doing.
If Obama is forced to face similar situations that Bush faced, we’ll see if the press still stands when he enters the room 7 years into his presidency.

In social linear dominance hierarchies, ‘beta’ is only relative to whether or not there’s an alpha present to be dominated by. In fact, there’s only one beta in a social dominance hierarchy…the remainder get subsequent designations from the greek alphabet: gamma, delta, epsilon…
So if you call anyone ‘beta’, you must concede ‘alpha’ status to whomever they’re yielding higher status. Therefore, if we even allow ‘beta’ to be given to a group (dubious but allowable for the intended social commentary in this case) then one must designate Obama (or the administration, collectively) as ‘alpha’.
Unless, of course, we strip the jargon of its intended meaning as people in this forum are wont to do. But, in that case, we soften the ground we would like to stand on when we seek to appeal to science for speaking of all other aspects of game.
I realize that my peer-review is probably not wanted in this pseudo-scientific-bullshit-only zone. No big deal; carry on.

Obama does seem like a natural beta lifted up far beyond his natural ability to command respect. If so, then he’ll be a disaster for left-liberalism. Perhaps a temporary disaster for America, too, but America can handle a few years of relative weakness in international relations.

What is it with politics and this blog?
Look, politics is marketing for suckers and morons who need to be told what to do, how to live, and who to hate. It’s all a bunch of bullshit used by a small group of winners to control large groups of losers who are stupid to believe anything anyone in power says. Just like religion and nationalism.
Money is the only thing that really matters. That is why I knew Obama would be the next president when the big money swung behind him after the initial “grassroots” morons brought into his game.
And if you want to get down to it, Obama has the power to literally destroy the world and kill anyone in it who can be reached by American power. And I am not stupid enough to believe that this ability ends at America’s borders, like that DC madam who just happened to commit suicide last year when it looked like she would go public in a major way. Yeah sure, she wasn’t assassinated.
So how is that anything other than alpha? He can literally have you killed or disappeared at any time he wants, and he doesn’t even need to get out of his chair. Can you do the same to people who get in your way? Thought not.

Bush and Obama can easily find young attractive pussy, in most cases politicians need to be married for protection. I was saying that they are both alpha among politicians since they were able to get the position of president and protect themselves by having a women commit to them. You are only looking at one tiny detail and assuming to conclusions.

As if āinternational diplomacyā counts for shit. Thatās the funniest joke Iāve heard in a long time.
International diplomacy has one aim above all else: the many who are weak will try to tie down the few who are strong. It’s not exactly surprising that Obama is a welcome figure in international diplomacy.
As for weakness, don’t look at what Obama is going to do with Putin, look at what he’s going to do with Sarkozy and Merkel. The test of a leader isn’t whether he can out-alpha the big dog of the enemy pack, the test of a leader is whether he’s alpha enough to keep his own pack in line. This is our best opportunity to weaken America in a long time and it sure as hell isn’t passing without serious attempts.
You can thank all those US liberals who think they have friends in the EU. I mean WTF? The EU is a plot for world domination and the EU elite views America as problem #1 regardless of who’s in charge there.

Obama wanted the French and Germans to actually, rather than technically, fulfill their treaty obligations in Afghanistan. They told him to suck a dick.
“The U.S. now has more power on their side in international diplomacy than under Bush. ”
Thus far, which is admittedly early days in his term, it has been quite the opposite. He is at least as weak as Bush in his closing days and the willingness to verbally attack the US is higher. Castro, who has been bitching about the embargo for more than my entire life, is now complaining that we are going to make them our slaves. Chavez and Ortega aren’t being any nicer. Iran is pressing forward, seemingly convinced the US will do nothing. And, as mentioned, the French and Germans (which in MSM speak are the rest of the world) are no blatantly snubbing their treaty obligations.
So, in short, we have as little or less power in international diplomacy than before.

The reason alphaness is tricky business is that it’s about BALANCE. Not cockiness, not assholery, not wimpitude, no one principle. The right mix of everything, the right response to the situation. Just being an asshole all the time does not mean alphaness, it means being very alone very soon.
The Bush crowd didn’t get the favours form Europe that he wanted because they offered only demands and threats. The Obama crowd is now going to learn that you don’t get any favours from Europe just asking nicely, either.
Clinton was extremely good at this, but that was just Bill. Having Hillary on board will bring Obama no closer to being able to get European support.

“So, Iām not saying that Obama is going to enact the correct policies when dealing with Russia, Iran, N.K., but I donāt think heāll be forced into anything by a more alpha leader. The U.S. now has more power on their side in international diplomacy than under Bush.”
The rest of the world laughs at you.
Have you heard of Putin or Medvedev?
Wath the heck, even Sarkozy played Obama… not to mention the Castros and the Chavezs of the world…

Chuck is a liberal who is whistling past the graveyard regarding Obama and is living in denial. Thus the remark about “international diplomacy” and how much power the US has. The President of the US has been rolled, make that willingly rolled, like a bowling ball, by enemy and “ally” alike. Maybe Obama could make another video for the Iranians. The last one worked so well.
Now we are going to reap what softies like Obama have sown.

Wise post.
The means of the weakening will be to make American freedom of action increasingly restricted by international agreements and organizations, such as wrt global warming (the Euro religion successfully evangelized to SWPL American elites but not others), expanded importance for the UN, and other “remedies” for “dread” American “unilateralism” (acting in our own national self interest much of the time, like other countries).

I hate Obama.is he alpha? I dont know, but he IS B-L-A-C-K. Or at least a SWPLers wet-dream:a white guy who is B-L-A-C-K. Have u heard of this idiot Harry Reid, the esteemed Senator from Nevada, and a real piece of shit? He writes a book and references Obama. He says he was “impressed” by Obama and with all the girlish pleasure of a teen encounter with one of the Jonas Brothers, shares this anecdote:”That speech was phenomenal,Barack” Reid said after an Obama speech. He writes: “I will never forget his response. Without the barest hint of braggadocio or conceit, and with…deep humility,he said quietly.”I have a gift.'” Yep,the race issue makes white men faggots! Its the white mans place in the scheme of things to be “impressed” by Barack. And if barack HAD had some conceit and braggadocio,he would seem LESS like a screw-loose nut-case!!

It is useless to argue over this man.
Anybody who is enthused about our new President will not be convinced by logic or facts that their enthusiasm is misplaced.
Only when they find out he is cheating on them, or he starts to beat them, will they have any 2nd thoughts. Then, many will return to him, more strongly committed then ever. If he becomes more reasonable and pragmatic, and just wants to get along and seriously solve problems, they will get bored by him and leave him for some Other who promises to bring back the old excitement.
Does this behavior sound familiar to readers of this blog?
Obama has good Game. Think about who he Gamed.

Some real insightful political commentary here: Obama sux, Bush rulz, Obama is beta etc. Stop trying to apply game to your retarded politics, it comes off as very forced and nonsensical. I’d read Roosh if I wanted to hear a 15 year old whine about the government.

Three plus says: Stop trying to apply game to your retarded politics,
There are plenty of people out there Obama gamed. They are already starting to realize it. Read Der Spiegal or the NY Times, for examples.
She (they) are still making excuses for him. They love him still but are expressing dismay at what he is doing. Obama is more popular than his policies these days, according to the pollsters. So, they are still loving him for his talk and style, not his substance.
This behavior is so stupidly womanish. And beta.

Hey Whiskey, Bush didn’t “go to war twice.” Actually he didn’t go to war at all. If memory serves me didn’t he evade combat deployment to Vietnam.

He didn’t “dodge” the draft, he was in the TANG. Don’t know if that counts as service for you… There was that whole debacle which got Rather fired though…

Great post. Obama is now the international beta boy of choice. Anyone who wants to piss on the US has the green light to do so.
Michelle cut off his balls a long time ago. After the second kid, she said he didn’t need them.
He does have a bullying way about him though. And he learned all his “skills” from Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” coupling that with The Chicago Way.
Major bankruptcy lawyer just said his client who was owed a lot of money by Chrysler faced threats by the Obamaunists to sic the “White House Press Corps” on them if they wouldn’t submit to accepting half or less of the money owed to them.
This in order for Obama to aid the UAW in gaining 55% of what would be left of Chrysler. Holding out for a reasonable payout for money owed made you an enemy of Obama.
So on the beta scale, yes Obama is beta and is willing to allow any two bit left wing dictator castigate the US and he will sit there in silence, but try to get more then 50 cents on a dollar owed to you and he’ll turn the media on you.
Basically that just proves the media are bigger betas than Obama.
But they both clearly suck.
