Yeah, “Idiocracy” is not fiction, as it turns out. These shots are way worse than the people on the other post, because they’re more like ordinary people gone to seed because of neglect, ignorance, awful habits, etc.

I am not sure this means we can judge their worth as human beings solely on looks (though that T-shirt does cry out for harsh judging) – they probably love their kids and go to church on Sundays.

Agreed re. fall of America. Though it strikes me that the blame for any epochal degeneracy or fall of empire must IN THE END always resides with the alpha males of that epoch. At any rate, since the topic of Wal-Mart always comes up with him, I am seeing more and more black women at Wal-Mart who are too wide to fit through the aisles. They distend the shelves by trying to push through the aisles, knocking over the merchandise in the process, like an elephant through a banana grove. These are the type of women that a black dude could run Elephant Game on.

Wal-mart will have to widen the aisles in the store layout in order to cater to black women. However, this would decrease revenue per square foot, making the most powerful business model of all unviable. Poor Sam Walton in 1962 could never have dreamt that a portion of his customer base would one day require aisles too wide for the business model of a store to work out.

At this point, even Wal-Mart can’t turn a profit in black America.

It really is disgusting to see openly obese women (and men) “flaunting it”.

For any “curvy” or “voluptious” women out there who just by chance see this: cellulite is to be hidden, not shown off.

Its hard to respect a group of people who are so fat that they could not complete a 8-minute jog without literally dying. I honestly dont think many of the lard-assed-human-jabba-the-huts in those pictures could actually walk at a 2.0 mph-pace for even half an hour before dying of cardiac arrest.

Its also disheartening to see the truly ugly or scrawny trying to “flaunt” it also. If you have chicken legs the size of a normal man’s arms, please wear pants. Egad some of those pics are rough. Its saddening to see people lose their sense of dignity and modesty. Only ‘hawt’ people should ever flaunt it, and that is best done at clubs and bars, where no children could see it.

Most human beings look better in long-sleeve shirts and slacks. The shirt tucked in also. This recent trend of seeing 30+men walking around with button-down shirts untucked (oxford-style shirts usually) reminds me of the 1982-ish fad in of the same amongst adolescent boys. It makes you look like a kid who is still waiting to grow up. I miss the styles of the “preppy” years. People looked better back then (except for the moussed-hair thing).

I was in the local Wally World earlier this week, just after I had first looked at People of Walmart. Not that I was going to take pictures or anything, but I was kinda sorta hoping that I’d see some worthy candidates for that site.

To my disappointment, everyone I saw looked normal or at least normal-ish. Dang.

Bhetti, the only people anti-walmart are people who can afford to shop at more expensive places—-namely, stay-at-home moms and the elderly and SWPLer students(who have the time) and SWPLers generally (who have the funds to order things/have personal assistants.

One of my favorite places to visit in NOLA is the Wal-Mart off of Jefferson. I make it a point to visit it every time, as it is the manifestation of everything wrong with Louisiana.

It’s somewhat difficult to find parking late at night, as the parking lot is half-filled with carts that people apparently couldn’t be bothered to put back. The employees responsible for collecting these carts are screaming at each other in ebonics across the parking lot. While Wal-marts are usually chaotic and dirty this one was is especially bad and people there are especially fat and smelly. I can’t help but wonder if Idiocracy’s ‘Costco’ scene was inspired by a visit to a retail outlet like this one.

This past weekend I got into an argument with some inbred who thought it was okay to park his large SUV over two spaces. I was amazed at how even though this guy was wearing a baby sling he responded to my minor comment about parking with profanity-laced shit talking. His clothes and late-model vehicle indicated he was not poor, just trashy. You can take a honkey out the trailer…
