This just shows you how bang-on Game theory is. We’ve been doing this – Alpha Game – for millenia. It’s been articulated in a dozen forms, the most recent being “game” to score with women.

Here’s a theory:
Roissy wanted a way to get political and counter the trolls in the comments, without sacrificing his aloof quippiness.
He constructed a conglomerate character with several obfuscating features: the Barbabbs chick, tourette’s, semi-promotion of religion, outright advocacy for civilization and beta male pride contra game.
Others have remarked on the perfect dyad of the Dark Lord and spastic lozlster kid brother. Both exhibit dominance and a similar outlook on game and female nature.
Tellingly, the interactions between the two are always positive. Lolzster fawns for more cartoons, which we know Roissy loves, and makes suggestions which Roissy subsequently draws. 1. That wasn’t the case in the beginning.
2. With as many words as GBFM writes and as many posts as Roissy makes you’d have to assume that one person was spending a ridiculous amount of time writing on this blog + GBFM’s own blog. Seems unlikely.
3. People originally theorized that GBFM and I were the same person. I believe that theory has been discarded.
4. My theory on the rebranding to Citizen Renegade is about his book deal. The publisher probably thinks it will look better on the book cover than Roissy in DC would. Publishers always choose the titles. Authors do not get much choice in the matter.

At a very deep level GBFM is different from our host, his is a traditional and well-educated Christian worldview shattered into a million fragments by the insanity of modern society and culture, plus whatever personal traumas and neurological issues he is dealing with.
Roissy is a Romantic, modern and secular but still connected to the Enlightenment and the great achievements of Western Civilization.
I had GBFM figured for a young autodidact due to his energy level, but if his Mom survived WW2 he must be in his mid-30’s at least. If he is not confabulating about his sexual conquests then he I would guess can’t be too much older than that either, unless he has the ability to appear a lot saner and more controlled in person than he comes across here.

Can I make a suggestion?
I wonder whether we’re all looking at this from the wrong angle, putting the cart before the horse.
I have a theory that, although GBFM and Roissy are linked, it is too simplistic to describe GBFM as a creation of Roissy.
Instead, he (along with Renegade) is a more evolved version of Roissy.
All of Roissy’s work, although coded in romanticist and hedonist terms, feeds directly into the GBFM mentality. Put another way, GBFMism is the logical next step past Roissyism for those fed up with hedonism. Btw I dispute that GBFM is not a romantic, all his comments display nostalgia, which is directly related to romanticism.
At first, I made the Frankenstein’s monster comparison, that GBFM was a crazed disciple, who like St Just in the French Revolution, had taken his master’s revolutionary teachings to their logical conclusion.
But I think that it is no coincidence that GBRM appeared at the same time as the name Renegade. At this point, the Roissy persona split into two parts, the Renegade part, which reflects the old Roissy persona, albeit a slightly softened and satiated version, and the GBFM part.
Just a wild theory, feel free to dismiss it, probably completely off the wall,
but it is fun to let one’s imagination run wild from time to time.

I am a record collector and music editor for an arts magazine. Many music geeks are beta, but there are also many that are alpha.
I would venture that it’s at a 60/40 split, with most being beta. But that is far from saying alphas “generally” have bad taste, or aren’t music geeks. I have had Matt Dillon buy records for me, he is definitely alpha, and has DEEP music knowledge that can only have come from intense research and passion. His specialty is Latin Jazz, specifically Cuban music.
Also, I know many djs and record collectors that have definite alpha swagger. Many musicians are alpha, and also tend to be erudite when it comes to music history. I mean, read any interview with Miles Davis, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Neil Young, etc etc, and these guys are obviously music geeks in the full sense of the term.

i disagree with this assessment. dives can be the province of betas or alphas. i live in an area where many of the dives are populated by alphas ( bikers, thugs, musicians, general alt types). i think you are conflating “popular or normal” with alpha in terms of venue selection. also, many of the shitty “popular clubs” are chock full of betas

I can refute that.
My great-grandmother was Jewish and married a gentile German. My grandfather survived the holocaust as a child, escaping the latter portion. He married a Christian after the war and raised my mother, who is a radical traditionalist.
I’m not aware of other survivors who married after the war, because not many survived, and certainly not in good shape.

1) Abolish fiat currency
2) Abolish welfare, except for people who are
truly disabled.

His references to 50,000,000 abortions in the US resonate strongly with me — if you believe that most abortions are morally comparable to murder, then the moral transformation of our society and culture that allowed tens of millions of women to no longer regard it as such (or, regarding it as such, to do it nonetheless in the confidence that society would not punish them) is enough to drive a soul sensitive to this into craziness, in the same way that awareness of the Holocaust drove some people over the edge

And although JEWS accept that if your mother was Jewish you are Jewish, those people whose mothers were Jewish but who have accepted Christ would not necessarily call THEMSELVES Jewish (even if they regarded themselves as such they might not call themselves Jewish in order not to confuse people about their religious beliefs).

Here’s an interesting idea: girls who are badly burned by an asshole will be so traumatized that they will eject completely from the dating market and get married, their self confidence shattered. So do that. Call it the Maximum Cruelty Project. Seek out women of loose character who are wasting their lives on the dating market, and do them the favor of going nuclear on their self esteem. You will either get 1. a love slave or 2. a shattered ex-dating housewife.
The criterion for cruelty vs kindness is simple: does she sleep around? I can’t decide whether your proposal is evil or not. It seems to provide a nice rationalization for nuclear asshole game. I don’t know, but game works for me.
Now, I am not ugly, and to be honest I never had too much trouble finding a girlfriend, so maybe it works well for me because I had the building blocks (i.e., decent looks) already there, but after reading and applying PUA techniques I got a hell of a lot better at meeting and talking to random girls in bars/clubs.
Before game, the only way I could get pussy was to be in a LTR. Most of the girls I met were in school settings (HS, College, etc).

Your comment got through, moderation delays things unpredictably but is done by a robot so don’t get too full of yourself, no human censored you. But if you keep this up you may get banned for being tiresome.
I am forced to conclude from that comment and your recent rantings that you have no interest in learning anything and simply want to offend people here. The difference between you and GBFM is that he actually appears to understand what people say to him, even though he usually rejects it. You, on the other hand, make a pretense of reasoned argument until someone makes a point you can’t say anything against, then you become purposefully offensive.
GBFM has bizarre obsessions he seems unable to control, and he appears to spend way too much of his time typing away on this blog, but his heart is in the right place and he is insightful enough to make his shorter posts worth reading for me.
But on the rare occasions when you have appeared to grasp a principle people are trying to get across to you, you respond to their encouraging replies by reverting to your old ruts, so I now believe you have no desire to learn anything nor anything new to say. You’re now on my “ignore” list.

How is someone a loser if they get what they want? If they don’t get it, then at least they tried.
It’s the times. Most guys today are squirming in the bottleneck, or feel like life has cheated them if they don’t get the unicorn. The relatively smart ones who get with someone in their league feel like they’re settling.
That’s not going to change unless or until the culture changes. So for now, game gives guys a better shot at getting what they want.
Perhaps someday game will evolve into embracing one’s inner man, and getting over the feminized pecking order. Perhaps.
At the moment though, the focus is on banging 10’s or as close as one can get. It’s a step in the right direction though. At least guys are learning that the most valuable women in the system don’t want feminized men. Maybe from there, the guys who learn game will start to ask the right questions, like whether or not those women are so valuable to them personally.
