There’s a tumultuously adventuresome discussion thread going on over at GLPiggy’s about “citizenism” versus white nationalism, in which your cockily imperturbable narrator has contributed some choice morsels (look under ‘heartiste’).
Couple addendums: I wasn’t familiar with WN until the one degree of separation internet revealed glorious new vistas to me. As such, I’m not up to speed on their political platform, although I can make an educated guess. I prefer not to spend too much time around relentlessly serious people, a fatal personality defect that some (some!) WNs share with feminists and grievance group racialists.
And, I’m not doctrinaire on the subject of national homogeneity. Like with most things in life, quality and quantity matter. A huge nation can accommodate some small number of immigrants who don’t resemble the native stock. I spell it out in more detail over there at piggy central, but in short, I believe an advanced nation’s social and economic health is best served by an immigration policy that does not shift its majority ethnic/racial demography below 80% of the total population. Obviously, the US is past that critical ratio and falling fast, and just as obviously, the US is concurrently experiencing the long, slow decline to has-been status in earnest, complete with all the expected attendant neuroses afflicting ever larger swaths of individuals and communities.
ps Libertarians are still stoopid. And it mostly hinges on their willful blindness to this issue, the one issue to rule all issues.
pps I might emigrate someday in the distant future for, ah, moister pastures, to which a pro-swamp white people advocate might justifiably accuse me of hypocrisy. Hey, no one said life was tidy. Countries have a right to restrict who enters and gets to stay, and if, for example, Poland decides not to accept my application for citizenship, then I’ll abide their decision. the easiest way to solve the “immigration crisis” is to privatize everything – the schools, hospitals, police forces, even the fucking roads. you can then abolish all the taxes, along with the welfare state. then people can discriminate to their hearts content. if white people want to live in gated communities and send their kids to all-white schools, more power to them. same goes for white business owners. and Asian business owners and landlords will fill the gaps and serve the blacks and Latinos.

The South has changed, but 150 years isn’t that long ago, and that’s when that society was forcibly dismantled. The power structures of high patriarchy no longer exist but the culture persists in a diluted form. I learned a lot living in Richmond, where most of the long-term residents are its legitimate descendents. A.S. went a long way towards teaching me how to recognize unconscious regional values, and I’d recommend rereading it if you ever travel down South. Taught me a lot about the assumptions of alphadom.

In David Mamet’s enlightening book “Secret Knowledge”, he comments that “culture predates society, as it evolves before consciousness.” This is important b/c it’s shared culture that allows those within the culture to better predict the actions of fellow members of it – which has obvious advantages of efficiency and harmony.
From the book, early American immigrants who could refer to someone as “My Landsmen” were offering an endorsement. Mamet says it was not infallible, but the shared culture allowed those sharing to “take a large amount of energy which otherwise would have been expended on self-defense, and utilize it more productively.” While self-defense is still relevant there are newer conflicts between our many multi-cultures that are sapping our productivity.

White guilt only exists in people who are entirely insulated from the direct effect of what is going on. As soon as criminals show up in their lives–or the lives of their loved ones–all that talk of “root causes” and systemic racism is over from that sort.
Just talk to any honest, church-going, employed black or white dude living in the rough part of town. They have zero tolerance for the thugs living in their vicinity, and hate them deeply. We’re not all blind to it. I don’t personally know any libertarians who advocate throwing the borders open (as we have). As I see it there’s nothing wrong with immigration provided you make sure you’re letting in people who can contribute economically and are going to behave like citizens of your country. But that’s the farthest thing from what we have now. Hayek also pointed out that socialism can work to some extent in a homogenous society but it’s a fucking disaster in a heterogenous one.

The quick route is to buy a passport from Dominica or St. Kitts/Nevis. They cost about $100K/$400K respectively (the latter gets you visa-free entry into more places). If you can write for money or otherwise work remotely, you could just travel the world on 3-month visas until you find where you want to be a permanent resident. The big issues would be cost, hassles of travel, and people or property tying you to the States.

Now I consider myself a libertarian (not a Capital L, or even a small L, but rather a subscript “l” libertarian) and while I don’t always agree with Nick and the gang, I tend to be simpatico with their worldview. That being said, I disagree with them about having open borders, but I DO agree with them that our national immigration policy, such as it is in its incoherent mess, is a complete waste of money and completely ineffective at what it purports to do. In that sense, Nick and the gang do a service to thinking people.

I like white nationalism (believe or not) because the current regimes in the West are anti-white and their lies need to be combated. However, alot of the WNs really are the mirror reflections of the anti-white “liberals,” they really do treat pro-white as a code word for anti-nonwhite.

I’d argue that people need a greater bond than race (though it becomes extremely important when that race begins to dominate / has criminal tendencies / is a of lower IQ.)

I disagree. I believe that when speaking of large social groups, racial makeup is the key determinant. A racially non-diverse nation could be of any political stripe. China is doing pretty well under a totalitarian regime. Fascist Germany was pretty damn efficient as well. Even Socialist programs work a lot better in far northern europe because they are largely racially homogeneous. On the other hand Greece, Spain, Italy, France…those welfare state programs don’t fare so well because they have a lot of “diversity” (non-indigenous free riders.) Our social programs and public education in the US are also inefficient in large part to the diversity of our racial classes.
It’s not politics, its the genetic makeup of the citizenry. I think the 80% mark is a good one. I’m all for taking the best and brightest of all races to make up the other 20%. I’d even go a step further and support race mixing if it were limited to high IQ East Asians.

The problem is cultural diversity.
Most minorities and immigrants do not assimilate into our culture. They may live in America, but they live in their own little groups and keep the culture from wherever they came from. The Chinese live together, the blacks live together, the Mexicans live together, etc. Not only do they live separate and away from white influence, but they are constantly being celebrated for being different in popular culture. This reinforces the idea that they are different from white Americans, and reinforces non-american cultural bonds.
These minorities then, are allowed to be racists and allowed nepotism while taking advantage of racial Marxism with programs like affirmative action. They become leeches who take advantage of special privileges and then in turn use their places in society to help the other people in their minority culture. Mexicans earn money in the states, then send it to their families in Mexico, who spend it in Mexico. Muslims hire Muslims, Jews hire Jews, etc. And they do all this while hating white Americans and rejecting our social customs.
When I was in a very racially diverse school system on the west coast, with my high school being 35% white, the white kids were regularly called “whiteboy” instead of their names, they were picked on for being white, and were accused of being racists and getting special privileges for being white. Now, in White American culture, kids are taught that violence is bad and to avoid confrontation, while in Black American culture, kids are taught to fight. My school was 10-15% black, but they were involved in 90% of the fights. When I was a senior in high school, our family moved to a very white state and into an affluent neighborhood. The school was 99% white, with two black kids that i knew about (there might have been a couple more, but it was a big school). One was adopted by a white family and was a good student, and the other was a foster kid from out of state who got in the only fight of the year and was constantly causing trouble. The first kid had been raised in a white family in a white community away from minority culture, while the second kid had been raised in a minority culture and moved to a white culture.
80% is nice arbitrary starting point, but the real solution is to force assimilation of culture. If minorities can congregate, then they can cultivate their anti-social, anti-white cultures and become parasites.
They are dividing and conquering us, we need to divide and conquer them.

Yeah quite probably, but like it or not a euro-american and an african-american (or any american) in a non-american country, including european ones, have more in common with each other than with the natives. Especially if they are of similar socioeconomic class and have lived in relatively integrated areas, the shared culture trumps the genetic differences.

I’m a libertarian and I don’t believe in open borders. The British Labour Party deliberately ran an open borders policy, for no other reason than to annoy white people with WN tendencies. The result is that half of public housing in the UK is now occupied by people who were not born here.
