The only reason Cubans vote Republican is because of the Bay of Pigs disaster, as they like to call it, and Castro. Remove, communism from their island and watch them voting for the Democrats, i.e. freebees and gov’t handouts, since “Hispanics are incapable of understanding what this country was based on” as Bob Wallace puts it. Yet, I don’t hold them responsible for that. It’s just not in their veins. Most of the world, doesn’t understand how special America is.
While it’s true many Cubans are business owners, a lot of their people are on public assistance as well. In addition, many of their women are pregnant out of wedlock too. They have a very fee approach to sex, like most other Hispanics. Unwed mothers are not good for a thriving society. Same thing with Venezuelans, escaping tyranny in their homeland. But I’ll give you two things.
1) Cubans and Venezuelans are better type of Hispanics than Mexicans.
2) The younger generation, which doesn’t know much about Castro, is increasingly voting Democrats as they are being brainwashed by the University of Miami leftists agenda. They have stripped off their parents teachings and suffering under Castro, and they don’t care about their parents “beloved” island any longer. In other words, they are being Americanized. On the one had it’s great, since many other immigrant groups refuse to be Americanized, but on the other hand it’s terrible because they too are falling prey to the awful leftists education system in this country.
Unfortunately, even though your argument is correct on some level, I’m still in favor of no immigration, legal or illegal. And if possible, throw everyone who is not white out of here. I know for a fact they like getting free stuff, such as fee health care, free school education for their kids, free busing for their kids, free school lunches for their kids, food stamps, Medicaid, etc. They can’t fathom paying out of pocket for anything. In fact, at my gym there is a Hispanic woman that once told me her membership is being paid for by some do-gooder organization funded by the city to help Latinos and blacks live a healthy lifestyles. No, because there is no real American nation. This country is falling apart because it’s a collective of so many different races, each vying for their own control and influence in America at the expense of the others. There is a lot of bleating going on here. A herd of sheep, natch. America is not a monolith. It is not a “nation” in the sense of England being a nation of allied Anglo-Saxon tribes, nor as France is a Gaelic nation, etc, etc. America is, and has always been, a patchwork quilt of areas of native American territory that were Even in its earliest incarnation, America has referred to both North & South Americans. But even if we circumscribe the definition to include only those born with in the borders of the current US territories, we include vast areas of land that were first colonized by the Spaniards, who intermixed much more readily with the native population.
You can see that various areas of the US, and all of North & South America were colonized predominantly by specific European settlers. Example: Minnesota & the Dakotas received a large population of Scandinavians, while New Orleans & Montreal got the Frenchies. So even the whiteys have never been a monolith. That’s why the “white power” people come off as so retarded. There’s no “white race.” It’s always been a bunch of different tribes that happen to be white. So somebody who celebrates being Scottish is seen as cool, or someone who champions their Nordic or Germanic heritage by eating the food of their ancestors & wearing the garb. But those who celebrate a generic “whiteness” have manufactured a false narrative, and it shows. Oktoberfest is a blast, whereas a KKK rally seems like a bunch of frightened bullys.
Back to demography as destiny: the earliest, and the most prolific colonizers of this continent were the Spaniards, partially because those lusty brutes reproduced quicker and more easily with the natives, something the more “white” Europeans were loathe to do. This Spanish conquered, sexually and geographically, a massive area of the southern US. This area includes most of Florida, vast stretches of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and California. AKA big, blue states, or in the case of Texas, a state that will be blue in a few years.
A simple way to tell the cultural genesis of an area is to look at the names of its cities, towns, mountains and rivers. If the town or other geological landmark has a Spanish originating name, it was first colonized by Spaniards. The Spaniards mated with the Indians, giving rise to the “Mestizo.” This is not new for anyone who’s passed a high school history course and has a working long term memory.
This genetic half-breed, the Mestizo, has become, and will continue to become a dominant force in the political sphere. The Mestizo are more adapted to the environmental and geopolitical conditions of the New World. Yes, they may be more R selected than K, relative to the Northern Euros, but that is simply what the environment calls for. And they are “winning,” simply because their genetics have an advantage in this environment, they’re able to have more kids on a lower economic input, and, most importantly, they’re able to vote en bloc.
This bloc happens to coincide with the SWPL white chicks, African Americans, et al. What do these groups have in common? They all seek to expand genetic diversity, and all benefit from it. This is a natural behavior of all species, an adaptive response to changing environmental conditions. The entire purpose of having sexual dimorphism, the purpose of having sexual reproduction, of even having males and females versus having asexual reproduction, is to create conditions where the males from diverse populations can bring genetic diversity to a more stable genetic population of females.
This is why some white chicks love black guys, or Italian guys, or latino guys, etc. This is why Asian females love virtually any other race’s males. There are the occasional counter-instance, like the black female’s resistance to dating outside their race. I’m sure someone will infer something about their genetics based on that, but remember that the same is true for the HBD white crowd.
In short, we can trace the Rolling Brownout back to the Spanish conquistador’s embrace of miscegenation, which may go back even further to the even earlier defeat of the Spanish at the hands of the Moors. Just like the German soldier’s sexual conquests in France during WW2, this interbreeding happens whenever a new group of males shows up in established territory.
Thusly, is so fittingly ironic that Obama is a half breed from Hawaii, who was re-elected by an ethnic tidal wave. Which brings up another interesting observation: Why are all of the coastal states, with the exception of Alaska, Blue as the deep sea? Sea transport has been the main means of genetic drift, and areas with waterways have the most diverse populations for that exact reason.

They best thing you white purists can do for your own mental health is to relax and embrace it. Buchanan is one of my heroes; he saw this coming 20 years ago. Nothing Romney could have done differently would have changed the outcome, except be a little bit more on the offense, but even that wouldn’t have matted much in the end. This wasn’t about Romney, it was about 50% of the country voting for their ideology, which is liberal.
People didn’t vote for Obama either, since he didn’t do anything right, and most people are definitely not happy with his job performance. They voted for the Democratic party because it promises permissiveness without any judgments, and what low-standard loser doesn’t want to engage in his loser activity with impunity?
The country is now left of center, and people vote for the sake of their ideology, not based on the economy or defense. This means that the following issues are what’s important to liberals: birth control, abortion, gay marriage, immigration reform (God, I hate this term because there is nothing reforming about it), entitlement and welfare programs, global warming and other environmental bullshit/nonsense, affirmative fucking action (shit, I’m cursing a lot today), and the misnomers economic and social justice crap. That’s why they will never vote for a conservative or libertarian candidate, even if Jesus Christ was on the ticket. Don’t kid yourself.

Latino excuse or labor excuse does not work in Iowa/New Hampshire. If you cannot even with these two states as a white candidate, there is something wrong in the message. You have to be able to reach out to white working class, not just the elites. Scott Brown is able to to it better than Romney.
Also, It is not just about the policies you outline. People have to be able to trust you as a leader to do the right thing. Romney lied too much – both in his ads and in the debates. Obama campaign nailed it be defining him as a corporate shark, who is out to screw them.

There is a difference between capitalism and crony capitalism. This nation was not built on government subsidies and cheap loans to businesses. or on the military industrial complex which nudged the country in the direction of the iraq war.

You are right that is one part of the problem , but I think the other part is one of “perception”,

Our side tries to counter this with Fox News, talk radio, and some conservative blogs on the Internet, but it’s not enough in spite of Fox having the lion share of the cable news audience and talk radio has 30-40 M listeners. It’s not able to undo the media or the liberal leftist education. Looking at the demographics of the O voters in the paper this AM. Struck me that they most represent people with nothing to lose. Young folks with little life experience and few to no assets, single women in contrast to married ones. Sixty percent of atheists or those who claim no religious affiliation. In short, those with no investment personally or financially.

(PS: I’m NOT trying to claim that women having the vote is necessarily what has made things better today — yes, they are better for most of us — because I think’s that’s more of a correlation vs causation sort of argument. But I do want to point out that the world has not collapsed as a result of suffrage. And arguably, conditions are 100 percent better in nations with suffrage as opposed to those without. If you hate the female vote so much, why don’t you head to Saudi Arabia and Brunei and see how you like it)

Smallpox and killer influenza were illnesses that were not cured because women got the vote. They were both cured by male doctors and scientists that took the time to do so. Saying “Alright women, you can now vote” didn’t cause feminine magic to spread across the globe, wiping out disease. To try to link the two, even slightly, is extremely stupid.
Mass poverty was the result of society’s change to mass industrialization. Again, this was not solved by feminine magic once they were granted the vote. It was solved by men starting new businesses and industry. Again, trying to link the two is stupid.
The reason many men are either secretly or publicly against the female vote is because women tend to vote for what’s in their best interests (that is, what do I get out of this?), whereas men tend to vote based on what the group’s best interests are (how does this benefit the country?). The difference is huge. This has shifted the West from a place where people were able to work hard to get ahead to a place where people are given money just because. Single mother? Here’s some entitlement program money for you. Just initiated a divorce from your husband for no reason? Here’s some entitlement money for you until we can start making him send his money to you. Forever.
This doesn’t even touch on the added costs of running a business in the new “We’re all equal!” society. Talk to a small business owner about how much it costs to deal with Maternity Leave. How about how much it costs having to work around a single mother’s schedule. Then there’s my personal favorite, having to pay money to make sure the small business meets all the bureaucratic red tape rules put down by local, regional and national government. That costs a lot of money and doesn’t add anything to the value of the business. That money can’t be spent on building business or expanding to provide more jobs.
Liberalism leads to a short term increase in the living conditions of the population that gradually fades as the money runs out. As more and more money is used to fund ridiculously lavish programs (most of which wouldn’t be needed if the nuclear family was still intact), less and less money is available to cover the necessities of a nation; ie. infrastructure. Add to this the tendency of “kept” people to become lethargic and unable to work for themselves. Less men working at the peak of their productive output means less business. Less business means less tax revenue and faster national bankruptcy.
In short, no women getting the vote didn’t result in an immediate world collapse. But, like most stupidity, the result of it is not immediately apparent. It takes a long time for this level of insanity to reach its fruition.

I mean has anyone seen the US debt recently? It’s already a probable mathematical impossibility for that to ever be paid off.
Even if Obama was the financial genius of his generation I would conservatively estimate the total will be around 22 Trillion by the time he leave the WH, since he is not it will probably be more.
With interest taken into account the prospect of a US default or at least a titanic economic restructure is almost guaranteed in the next few decades.
Hyper-inflation could be one way out of debt. But will the underclass be quiet while their Gimmedats shrink? Or will the U.S just collapse in on itself?
I always used to laugh at the apocalyptic predictions of some on this site, but financially and socially the U.S seems to be in a touch of bother.
Can anyone predict what will happen to the world if the biggest economy and the Hyper-abundance that has given rise to so many utopian visions collapses in on itself?

Why would you want to pay down the debt? That would be the end of the Social Security Trust Fund. The Fed also holds a huge chunk that is pretty much neutral to the debt burden, as interest and principal are returned to the Treasury. That’s a huge chunk of the debt that is really of no concern.
The real problem is not where the money comes from, the problem is where to spend it. Inflation is can be a risk, not the risk of default (which must be voluntary as the Treasury can’t run out of funding).

Yes, I’ve anticipated that problem, which is why I looked at marriage rates and number of children by number of women had. The GSS data suggest that most “betas” today will eventually be married, but it does remain to be seen what will happen to today’s 20-somethings when they reach 40.

I think Heartiste has really hit on something, here. We can expect Blacks to vote democrat. Hispanics also heavily tend to vote Democrat, especially the newly arrived brown folks — multi-generational American Hispanics, particularly those of a more European mixture, are more evenly divided. I used to criticize TV for not having the guts to put actual ugly people in leading roles.
For example, the star of Ugly Betty wasn’t really ugly per se, she was more quirky than anything else.
However, once I saw Lena Dunham in a leading role, I take it all back. She is too hideous to look at.

Heartiste, do you feel any moral responsibility to prevent the downfall of US civilization, or do you prefer to just make the most of it? These aren’t completely mutually exclusive, but at a point I think some traditional beta behaviors should be preserved (or maybe what I’m thinking of is actually more alpha than I am giving it credit). I’ve trended this way now that I’ve settled down. Here is a sort of code I like to live by…I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts.
-find the most attractive, smart, and feminine woman you can get, and marry her in your mid to late 20s
-do procreate, to counteract the evergrowing government-dependent class, plus this adds a sense of meaning to your life that very little else can
-have a lot of sex with your wife, communicate, encourage her to be a stay at home mom if you can afford it, and provide real support for one another
-run a tight ship with your kids while encouraging them, within reason, to follow their passions, and shape them into productive members of society
-obey the law, don’t be a dick, be polite to old or ugly or disabled people, don’t needlessly waste energy and stuff that’s going to take up space in a land fill
-don’t waste money on positional goods; the pleasure is not lasting and it is a zero sum game. By for quality instead.
-exercise, eat right, educate yourself, think outside the box, challenge the mainstream but uplift the people around you
-maintain close friendships, play rec sports
-video games, board games, cigars, booze, even weed are all great in moderation
-try not to contribute to the annoying self-conscious, ironic fads in fashion and attitudes that plague so many folks
-don’t be an attention whore
-defend yourself and your values when they are challenged, but don’t start unnecessary conflicts
-don’t tolerate a shitty job if you can help it; doing something challenging and inspiring is worth sacrificing a surprisingly large amount of pay
