The Season Of Donating

December 27, 2012 by CH

It wouldn’t be Christmas spirit if I didn’t ask readers for generous gifts under the Donate Tree over there ===>

The giving of gifts, the receiving of gifts. You know you want to. It feels good! Like handjobs under the table at a fancy restaurant.

No more money from me until the issues with Wordpest are corrected. I’m tired of losing comments or being censored (never sure which).

Word. Excellent first comment, which otherwise would have been lost under the swarm of fawning dick-suckery sure to follow a post like this.

This site has all the content to strike a much greater profile than it does, and its proprietor handicaps his message by keeping it under its original auspices, the limitations of a free blog.

Also, panhandling is undignified. Outside of patronage from a superior, men contract with men for an exchange of value. The highfalutin fears of “monetizing” one’s passion for fear of corrupting it are the fears of a timid liberal who is not just afraid of the market but afraid of failure.

In this era, entrepreneurs are warriors and the market is the battleground. The alpha has no shame recognizing his value and demanding exchange-in-kind for its dissemination. There are ways to preserve the purity of message and to avoid becoming bourgeois, i.e., primarily coin-driven. Those PBS-type faggots who cry “crass commercialism” are losers rationalizing their own inability to compete with other men.

We live in an era of crowdfunding, not patronage, not noblesse oblige, not angel investing, not even venture capital. It has never been easier to raise funds from across the world for worthy projects, but not without reciprocation (in interest or equity), even the microreciprocation of places like Kickstarter.

Wisdom and art sells. Not as much as prurience, of course. But certainly more than high-minded mediocrity pretending to offer value merely from its claim to be “above” commerce. And enough to effortlessly kick its technological capacity up several notches. Calling one’s passion project a mere “hobby” is a way to excuse complacency.

      Matt

Yep, Roosh is doing Return of Kings, a promising idea and site, Krauser wrote a book and is expanding beyond game, and I think Rollo is writing a book. Meanwhile CH, sometimes called the godfather of the manosphere, is bungling around in neutral. I only say this out of love no homo.

        Yeah.

I said the blog needs an agent and business manager, not a new author. Try to keep up, rabble.

The sniveling commentary from the Pledge Week rejects above is what I’m talking about. Not only do you get what you pay for, you skew the value of your product by giving it away for free. “If it’s such a good product, why is it so cheap?” So you attract the types who clip coupons, shop for clothes at Wal-Mart, and always choose the “econo” deal. Men expect to pay a premium for value. And vice-versa: men are suspicious of getting value for no payment-in-kind.

To depend on patronage is to ultimately cede control of one’s passion project. For instance, they will withhold their funds if all is not to their liking (see the demands about “WordPest” in the uppermost comment). Now spread that out among the fickle opinions of the mob, and you are better off depending on garish advertising revenue. If the artist cannot locate a single, trustworthy, group of hands-off benefactors, he is better off dictating the terms of the value exchange between author and readership. CH is in the rare position to do that.

I don’t mean to discourage donation. That is the established artist-patron dynamic he has with his audience. I am saying, however, that it is beneath him and that there are better ways, especially in an integrated online world.

What are those better ways? That would require a peek into the current books. More specifically, it would require a business manager. Who can be hired. For a premium.

He has outgrown the studio apartment and the mimeograph-pamphlet machine. Time to move into an artist’s loft. Or an estate.

        “We ain’t one-at-a-timin’ here. We’re mass communicating!”

The free accommodations online, accessible to every blowhard with an email address, are an insult to the value he is providing. And such impoverished digs actively detract from that value in ways that are difficult for the artist to detect.

Don’t you ever watch True Hollywood Story? Why do you think performers with the talent to fill stadiums employ a retinue of go-betweens to actually fill those stadiums? And why do you think they regularly get screwed by their managers? Because their focus is on their work, rather than the business mechanisms that allow their work to flourish everywhere.

In a world where any garage band could mass-distribute their sound across the planet for next to nothing, somehow the agents and record companies survive. They provide a value that artists can’t — and don’t want to — produce on their own.

Matt King, this is a load of bullshit. Capitalism doesn’t GIVE a fuck about manliness. Seriously, read Schopenhauer.

Your attempt to apply manly values to everything from pine trees to toenails (“a true man doesn’t ever look at his toenails, you cunt, he has his feet on the ground and his chin firmly jutting into the far horizon”) is hilarious.

Pop psychology sez: Your father constantly berated you for not being manly enough. Because the overcompensation on display is staggering.

Well that’s a relief, since I wasn’t talking about “capitalism” — a loaded word invented to politicize and annihilate the otherwise naturally occurring and omnipresent free market.

A certain kind of man desires liberty and responsibility. Another type of man, and just about every type of woman, prefers security, surety, predictability, and direction. I am just announcing I relate to and respect the former more than the latter.

I dunno, maybe being a high-placed mandarin in the national bureaucracy is your idea of the admirable man? Or the pol who climbs the greasy pole to the “top” so he can manage the leviathan?

Instead of crying “NUH UH” to my suggestion, tell me what it’s lacking and provide your own example, rather than exaggerating mine for effect. Because sometimes the exaggeration has an effect, and sometimes it’s just a projection of your inability to recapitulate your opponent’s argument.

(See, we all can do dimestore psychology!)

We talk about pussy we’ve had and pussy we want to have. Whether Matt likes it or not, most of the people with power in this world do not give even the slightest fuck about saving or preserving whatever the hell he goes on and on about. You know what they do care about? Themselves. Like our host, those motherfuckers are sittin’ poolside while they take everything they can until they die and fuck everything else, thx very much. I’m on record as saying Matt reminds me of Ignatius Reilly. However, he also reminds me of Ron Paul. Sure, he has some good ideas that should be listened to. And, if we don’t listen we will probably perish. However, those ideas will never, ever be implemented. Even though you mean it. Even though you may be “right.” And, as a result of his foolhardy mission, Matt ends up looking like an old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn. Sure, it’s principled, but its also pointless.

Matt: This may shock you, but plenty of influential people are self-made and cannot accurately be described as “trust fund princess.” Also, I’d refer you to (coincidentally enough) Matthew (King) 7:3 in re: overestimating oneself.

Speaking of finance, does anyone think that flighty girls would also have poor credit scores? I suspect they would. Alternatively, one might speculate that datable relationship worthy girls might have good (or at least better than their slutty counterparts) credit scores. Slutty, panty-less (but fun!) girls = financial risks + cheating risks.

In the case of “ya know, down there” being shaved, well… wouldn’t want the drapes to match.

The film Les Miserables is big now right? You know that.

But have you noticed yet what the feminists do to the most famous song?

“I Had a Dream” is about Fantine realizing she’s lost after being dumped by an alpha. The official lyrics make this very clear. The song makes it clear that the loss of the father to her child, because he walked away, was a catastrophe.

But Susan Boyle and Glee and other British feminists all cut that part out of their performances in a clever fashion, making it seem like the song is about her being separated from her daughter as if a man was never part of the picture or was ever necessary..

And nobody is calling them on their petty bullshit.

I’ll try to donate again soon, but I’m currently stuck in a tourist trap and there’s only one way out! Ultimately, without all I have learned from guys like you and Savoy, I wouldn’t have anywhere near the skills I need to make it in this world I don’t belong in. This seems as good a place as any to publically thank you for all the time and effort you put into this blog for people to learn from. Although I may not agree with everything I read here, I can appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm needed to turn out articles day after day.

George H.W. Bush will be a die-ing very soon. There will be a lot of sadness among those who knew him long time but there will be no real aura of tradegy. BECAUSE with his 88 years, he has harvested more ripe, prime, squealing with hysterical ectasy -red -haired -17 year old .ladies.. .than anyone you can possibly imagine. Indeed way more horny red heads 17 year olds than JFK, LBJ, And even Bill Clinton all put together. He may be a dieing but imho he does not need to apologize.

I predict a number of high-profile, under the radar readers will drop some respectable money here. But for all the constant self-congratulatory observations of CH theory hitting the mainstream, this blog should have taken the next step 3 years ago. Maybe you already have and just don’t want your projects openly associated with a machine of unpopular truth telling. But you’ve been identifying problems and rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic for 5 years now. Start pursuing some solutions and you’ll probably meet with a lot more generosity next round.

About the only reason this story is taking a neutral-ish tone is because one of the accused is black. If they were both white, the Deadspin queers would be calling for their lynching.

Just looked at that fascinating graph you tweeted to. There seem to be as many pink nodes as blue…suggesting sluts are about as common as alpha males.

Also, the shapes are pretty symmetric with regard to pink and blue–ie you have 12 blue dots with two pink ones and 9 pink dots with two blue ones. Also, a simple unconnected pair had 63 examples, so there’s evidently a lot of monogamy still going on.

Yeah, for example, if somebody calls you a racist, just tell them a racist is just a white person who hates black people as much as black people do.

Or, as in your example, if you get called a misogynist, lift your shirt and say, “but I got nipples!”

    Speaking of donations…

“Court case query: Is Topeka man a sperm donor or father?” by Tim Hrenchir, The Topeka Capital-Jouranal, 28 Dec 2012
    http://cjonline.com/news/2012-12-28/court-case-query-topeka-man-sperm-do
    nor-or-father

Lesbian couple got free sperm donated to make a baby, signed an agreement to hold him harmless as a father to do that, now suing him for child support. They signed a legal agreement, but when does the Law stop lesbo-feminists? Look for him to get shafted for his good deed. Fuck sperm donation any more.
