I lived in Europe for 23 years, not counting my childhood years there and have been to the Netherlands maybe a 150 times. I am as German as I am American. Not sure what your hang up about Ukrainians is, maybe you’re German and can’t admit that Slavs are prettier than your women? There is a reason so many top supermodels are Ukrainian and not German or Dutch. They are much huskier in their build, for instance. I don’t know where you were in Ukraine. I see tens almost routinely when I go out in Kiev, several a day. Not to mention the other 6-9s. The same is true of the smaller towns as well. I can recommend Sumy and Poltava both. Odessa also has a good reputation for beautiful women. I’ve concluded we have different tastes in women. I think Charlize Theron has a thick neck and somewhat manly shoulders. She’s not very petite either. She’s built like a typical German or Dutch woman. Except for the period of enlightened absolutism in the 19th century through to the Revolution, Russia never had good government. Even this period of government was rife with corruption and serfdom or its traumatic after effects. It has always been run locally by corrupt officials and has been more or less a kleptocracy itsd entire history. If the Russian Empire had had good government, they would have a standard of living beyond our wildest dreams given the nation’s treasure. Ukraine is really the same way. They have the most fertile soil in the world- it is all black, like potting soil, natural gas they could be exploiting, they have mountains of coal slag that could be converted to diesel fuel, there is no investment in roads or infrastructure or very little. With good government, Ukraine could be a great place and as wealthy as Germany.

Yesterday, somebody posted a side-by-side comparison of Putin and Obama doing various things–Putin riding his horse shirtless while Obama rides his girl’s bike while wearing Mom Jeans; Putin with a crossbow hunting whales off a Zodiac while Obama throws a baseball like a girl; Putin with a rifle while Obama shoulders a shotgun like he’s never seen one before–and it was hilarious.
Now the truth is that most of Putin’s iconography is the product of staged photo shoots. But it’s very instructive to see photos of him that aren’t staged–like the one above–and compare them to Obama’s unstaged photos. I think my favorite comparison would be the one posted above (Putin makes “boobs!” face while simultaneously giving two thumbs-up, completely ignoring the protestor’s attempt to shock him), vice that one of Obama on “The View,” sitting with his legs crossed like a bitch.
(I mean, seriously, have you seen that picture? Obama’s not only crossing his legs at the knees, at one point he’s actually got one foot hooked behind his other ankle. As a woman, yes, I can and do frequently sit that way. That’s because I have NO TESTICLES.
Shortly after that ep of “The Shrieking Fem-Trolls”…excuse me, “The View”…aired, I did an informal experiment. I asked several male friends, including a very twinky gay boy, if they could sit that way. None of them could. What’s interesting is that Putin is actually not terribly imposing physically. He’s only 5’7”, and although he’s clearly in good shape, he’s 60 years old. It’s not an open question. Every woman with any sense fears Russian men, is at least skittish around Ukrainian men, and has strong reservations about Romanians.
Russian men who haven’t quite westernized have a sort of rape policy. If a woman doesn’t fight for her life, it’s not really rape. If a woman is unescorted, she really needs a dick. Some will tell you in advance that if they catch you, they’re going to fuck you. You have to ask the right questions. Local women are going to be used to it and behave in a way that keeps them out of trouble most of the time. It’s stupid American women who often run afoul of the wrong kind of guys or do the wrong thing and get into trouble.
Here in Israel, sometimes there are problems because girls who are hanging out with Jewish or at least second and third generation, don’t know how to behave around first generation or Christian or non/anti religious. They are looking for a tall, blonde guy who behaves somewhat romantic but edgy, so they start going to Russian establishments, but they don’t have any female Russian friends, or don’t listen to them, or have the wrong kind of Russian female friends.
These poor idiots who are used to being able to laugh a guy off easily or string him along or play the usual games, find themselves in a world of hurt. There is no teasing, and no getting by with a handjob with them.
There is some banter and play in the culture, but you have to know what you’re doing, which most women who aren’t from their cultures don’t.

With enough pressure to force the rationalization through, many will imagine that negative attention is better than no attention at all. Putin’s body-language is good for short guys to learn from. It’s very alpha, dominant and authoritative. One of the bad habits short guys tend to do is lean way up to hear taller people or look up at them from the side like they’re a little side-kick etc. A few of my regular wings are 6’2-6’5, so at 5’9″ I’m the runt of that group, but I never “lean in” to hear them. I always let them lean down to talk to me.
I project my voice (speaking from the diaphragm) so they can hear me over the music instead of my having to lean in. And ideally I’ll stand to their side so that they turn to face me while I just listen from the side. All this body-language stuff helps balance out my value with theirs as the short guy of the group.
Also none of it comes across as dickish as it sounds in writing lol it’s all very natural in the moment but its something I had to purposely consciously train when I started hanging around these guys.

Was a picture on here a while back of Putin meeting with a much taller biker gang leader or something. I noticed that in that picture, Putin did not cock his head up to meet the taller man’s gaze. Rather, he kept his head level and only raised up his eyes. Looked badass.

Obama’s apology for that comment is more a reflection of the prevailing feminist PC culture pervasive in our media, rather than him not having balls. Political and PR requirements compelled him to apologize after the fact, but clearly he ad-libbed the line and delivered it with natural charisma. I’d say it took balls for him to make such comment at a televised public event. It certainly wasn’t scripted – his staff would certainly have advised against it. Say what you will of his politics, but Obama is a cocky motherfucker going back to his Harvard days. Our puritanical political culture and free press prevent our political leaders from showing the type of macho/masculine displays that you see other worlds leaders like Putin do. Our electorate (hypocritically) holds leaders accountable for doing normal human things like having sex or staring at a set of tits. Putin faces no such constraints in Russia.
