A reader passed along this infographic showing the online nodes that constitute what is termed the “Neoreactionary Space”, which you can read about at the source.
I don’t have anything to add, except to say that the Chateau node should be bigger, hairier, and swinging insouciantly.

Dammit, didn’t make the cut. Me and Danny are gonna go sulk over many beers.

I guess the interesting question is whether or not such a disparite coalition of various factions of the Right can be replicated at the presidential level by 2016. My sense is: probably not – there are too many plates there for a would-be presidential Houdini to spin at once. As I’ve said before, it would require a individual with FDR-like political skills to pull it off, and I don’t see Rubio, Paul, Florida Buck, etc. with those capacities (Although perhaps Christie?)

Part of swallowing the entire reactionary red pill is recognizing that engaging in electoral politics is pointless at best. Short of a vote on a constitutional amendment nullifying the Constitution, USG can’t be fixed by an election.
For more on this subject, I recommend An open letter to Ron Paul supporters and How to actually defeat the US government by Mencius Moldbug. The follow-on posts Revipedia: how to defeat the US government, reprise and How to defeat the US government: summary are also worth reading.

I disagree, Lex. Real – not fake – immigration reform, and getting control of the entitlement problem (probably the two greatest problems we face that government can actually do something about) could be tackled by a new conservative administration, although I’ll admit that things might have to be pretty bad for real change to occur (e.g. circumstances akin to the Great Depression, which allowed FDR to make the proposals he did).

The government will move ever leftwards. To move ever leftwards, while retaining the pretense of democracy, requires ever more underclass voters on welfare or government work. This in return requires the mass importation of a low IQ underclass. Therefore, republicans will vote in future, as they have voted in the past, for the mass importation of a low IQ underclass.

I wonder about that term. Nick Land–the guy who coined ‘Dark Enlightenment’–is going with ‘neoreactionary’ lately, but I have some small doubts. Anyway, terms and labels are important; this little corner of the internet is slowly starting to get noticed post-Derbyshire firing, so we should pay more attention to how we want to frame ourselves. It’s something the Left ponders constantly, and I say we take a page from their playbook. If we don’t do the framing, someone else will . . . (as anyone who reads this blog should know) . . .

I don’t like “neoreactionary” because it plays into the enemy’s frame (“sane” = “reactionary”). I prefer “Dark Enlightenment” much better.

How about just plain Enlightenment?

Nope. “Dark Enlightenment” is distinctive and gets the point across. “Enlightenment” refers to the original one of Voltaire, Hume, Rousseau, etc., and nobody will be able to shift it away from that.

Yes, it’s a work-in-progress. I’ll add Dalrock. An oversight. If I continue to feel geeky about this, I’m going to make it interactive, with data attached to each node, but before I do that, I want to make sure the template is finalized.

The wife was from a very successful elite family. Met the terrorist in a night club. He hit her but it felt like a kiss. Converted to Islam for him. Then worked 70-80 hour weeks to support him while he was unemployed.
It basically reads like something straight out of a “game” blog.

Pity it’s still a pretty small community. Most of the sites there are not really significant in terms of traffic. In fact, the network of feminism sites alone would probably easily eclipse it number and subscribers.
Unfortunately, logical pragmatic thought is not going to re-emerge in the mainstream until leftism has completely brought society to ruin.
