I hate this photo. This father looks like the ultimate goofball, and not in a good way. I posted in an earlier blog entry about this guy. He may be happy that his “son-in-law” no longer walks the Earth, but I’ve got to question whether a father is simply “powerless” in the face of some Alpha psychopath thug who wants to marry his daughter.
It’s understandable that family can’t do much with an adult woman who wants to marry some jackass who will change her religion, put her in a burkha, smack her around from time to time, and make her his subservient little wife. But, the father could have done a lot more when she was growing up to keep her from even considering someone like that as husband material.
First, be a strong, involved father in your daughter’s life. That way, she won’t be looking for that strength somewhere else. Second, give her a strong religion and don’t raise her in a household where there are no traditions, and no consequences for making bad choices. Third, if your daughter’s boyfriend or husband DOES decide to smack her around for fun, then it’s time for you, and possibly her brother, or other male relatives to get involved.
As I said in my earlier post, I think this father believed that as long as he was bringing home a doctor’s paycheck, his work was done. Idiot was probably more concerned about what color his new BMW was going to be, rather than with whom his daughter was dating and the choices she was making If that were my daughter, I wouldn’t be smiling…I’d be looking away from the camera and hanging my head in shame.

From what I gather there is a misunderstanding of “arranged marriage.” It’s not that so much that the parents choose, but rather the parents have the power of veto. Likewise, it’s very easy to imagine a system where the man is approved by the father and the daughter can veto. It’s just a system of checks and balances. If someone vetoes than you try again with a new candidate. People misconstrue it in terms of all or nothing. It’s the happy medium between a free-for-all and the man or bride having no say in the matter whatsoever. Knock down that straw man.

I raised two. Believe me, some girls will just do whatever, and the more you criticize, the more they will do it. As this blog site points out repeatedly, logical thinking is not their strong suit. If you can’t reason with them, then what?

When is the last time you saw a realistic portrayal of Indian, African, or Middle Eastern culture and society? How often do they show Africans, for example, taking a sh*t in a plastic bag, which is routine in our President’s fathers’ country. A few schools of Islamic jurisprudence allow non-virgin women to decide on their own.

The whole concept and creation of society is a male thing. Therefore originally the institution of marriage was merely a contract between males on how to regulate access to sex and create a more cohesive, harmonius and united society and this this becoame so successful that the marriage model exists in some form or another almost everywhere on earth and this model got codified into a traditional system. I doubt the ancients came up with marriage becasue of female hypergamy, it was merely to avoid male on male war. Based on some real-life experience, I recommend that Dads teach 2 skills to their girl-children. Teach them to ride big, dangerous horses and to shoot large caliber handguns.If you start them off early; say, around 4 or 5 years old, they will not need any lengthy explanations in order for them to want to learn these things.. They just dive into it, if their instincts are healthy.
The result can be that they are immunized against all sorts of post-modern delusions. They will have learned that horses are inherently crazy and dangerous and must be controlled in a realistic fashion. Trust me, they will get the real meaning of that without taking it personally. They will have also learned that firearms are never the least bit dangerous absent a stupid human interface. IE, Sane people are better to be around, for all sorts of reasons.
And, as a father who iniates them into the knowledge of primal truths and fun, you will remain the most fasinating man in their lives for a good long time.

Eventual “dates” are typically in a mall or the like, with the girl having a (usually young-ish, like a married sister or cousin) mellow-laid-back, but definite chaperone.
I saw no evidence that the young people are unhappy about the deal.

But you are right in a sense: they’re as white as one can get racially, not culturally. But it still stands: they’re white. If they weren’t then there wouldn’t be much of a conversation at all, since people of whatever race they would’ve been from would have all just been “like that”. But because they are, and because we need to have a firm reason as to why they might do something like this, we’re blaming it on Islam instead.
