A lot of this is just . . . expectations. This is where the left has overplayed its hand. People adjust. The threat of losing your cushy high end think tank or teaching job only has power when you expect to keep that high end job. But people with heretical opinions now expect to lose their jobs. It’s not something shocking and new anymore, so it’s lost a considerable amount of its power.
Game can play into this too. Basically, leftists can take away your job, but they can’t take away your ability to get laid. PC shibboleths don’t cut it down at the bar, or in the bedroom. Women will basically slit their own throats for a chance at high end cock, so if you don’t make it too glaringly obvious that you’ve been exiled from the precincts of good society even SWPL chicks will all too willingly gobble away at your veiny meat monster.
Richwine didn’t apologize for his crimethink. Derb never apologized for his (and in fact, took great offense when a leftoid with cratering ego issues implied he had apologized).

I think the internet has had a tremendous effect on the gradual allowance of the truth coming out. More and more people identify Islam as an inherently violent and barbaric religion. More and more people accept and defend HBD concepts. People have only been able to communicate openly on the internet for about 15 years, and I think it has a tremendous effect in terms of garnering masses of support for unpopular (but substantiated) positions.
In the 90s, you had to rely on books the publishing industry was willing to publish and other sources of information mass media approved of. There were certain things I had always suspected, but could not find informational support for in the suburbs where I grew up in. Now, people can defend Richwine because more people are disseminating his positions and other public figures know that there is a wide support group for such positions in addition to information that backs it up.
There is clearly a lot more work to be done, but I suspect that HBD arguments and arguments in favor of western cultural values will grow stronger and more public in the coming decade.
For me, I have learned to be an atheist/agnostic, anti-Islam and accepting of cognitive differences caused by population genetics.
Didn’t learn anything about the women preferring dominant men thing though. Knew that one since day one.

The internet is a powerful tool in spreading right ideas, but what is the final effect in the market? In other words – how much did the internet help the Cathedral in spreading it’s gospel, and how much did it help the right side in spreading theirs?
I presume that internet has done a wonderful thing for spreading ideas among the true dissidents, wild, untamed spirits seeking trouble and showing disrespect. But in global, it’s probably a quicker way for the acolytes of the Cathedral to impose their ideas. Just the latest example – there’s a petition against gay marriage in my country, and Facebook is filled with statuses “Whoever signed the petition should unfriend me.” You see, it was much more difficult to say it while looking at someones eyes – technology makes unfriending and social stigmatizing much easier.

yeah, but I think even that kind of behavior is beneficial because people can be more open about their beliefs and their consequences. We don’t have to avoid politics and religion and stick the weather and leave all our real beliefs far under the surface.
You can read books, but there is something more you gain from direct interaction with other people. It’s hard to find that many opportunities in real life to discuss higher level ideas. Internet helps a person like me develop my ideas and view of the world for that reason.

Facebook is a fascinating example. The latest thing I’ve been following there are several Atheist groups from my country, which have developed into nests of PC puritanism (worshiping gays and immigrants, hating any form of genetics and ranting against every western religion, having feminists articles etc.). Lately they’ve been campaigning for gay marriage with incredible aggression – the biggest Facebook page from that group has last 11 entries exclusively on gay marriage. Some youngsters I know (heavy metal, Satan, Nietzsche type of boys and girls) who “liked” those pages a few years ago have started not only supporting gay marriage, but also joining groups which call to destruction of posters and pamphlets from Catholic organisations who started a petition against gay marriage. So, now Atheists are very quickly getting intertwined with Gay Pride, Anti-Racists, Feminists etc. In other words – someone who use to headbang to Slayer’s Angel od Death after 10 beers now weeps over the discrimination of gay couples who can’t adopt kids and women who were victims of patriarchy for centuries.
Just to be clear – things like neoreaction or libertarianism could never have gained momentum without the Internet. It certainly helps some people find interesting ideas and discuss them on higher levels, and even forming a possible new elite. But as a sum, Internet is not for sharing beliefs, it’s a powerful device for fastening the spread of the dominant ideas – the ones that our holy fathers of the Cathedral want us to think.

That’s interesting that they tried to fabricate an apology for Derb. Shows how valuable the apology is to whole shunning process. With the apology, the victim gives their consent to the whole process and puts the media back on the moral high ground. I suppose you could point out that a coerced apology isn’t worth much, but really this would fall outside of the default mental narrative that most people carry around in their heads. In the mind of a progressive, he is a white hat fighting the bad guys.

You guys nailed it again. I recently watched the movie “Bullies” on netflix, a documentary about school bullying. 100% of the problem is that the schools are run by women–teachers, administrators, and even the bus drivers. In this one scene that really pissed me off, this fat bully is bullying a poor nerd, and the female teacher–in pure ignorance–lectures the nerd, places all the blame on the nerd, takes the bully’s side 100%. And to an educated red pill CH reader like me, the reason is plain as day: the female teacher literally has tingles for the bully. Literally. It is that simple.
You guys with Netflix, if you have time away from doing manly things, watch this movie. It’s called “Bullies” or “Bully.” Watch it with the CH blog in mind…and you will become irate.
It’s a small sample of societal problems that CH discusses here. Again, the problem with school bullying is that women are 95% of the public school system so they are too weak to stop it and they tingle for the bullies.
These fatass bullies in the movie need a good ass kicking, one time, or even a firm lecture (yell at them in their face) by a man, one time, and they would stop.
So I take it upon myself to save bullies’ future when I see them at the park. When I see a bully, I tell him he must not have a dad in his life and to fucking stop it right now. I have saved many kids and improved their futures by doing this. I tell them directly that if their stupid mom is too stupid to teach them to be a proper person, then I will teach them. (like when they act like bullies and take my daughters’ balls or are physically mean to girls on the playground, for example).

Don’t know if you saw Matt Heimbach’s last speech to the town Republican meeting somewhere in Maryland, but I think he’s onto something with it. People on the “right” like us need to be open online, obviously, but also make ourselves vocal in the flesh where we can convert the largest group of sheep in the nation without a shepherd: Republicans. His speech seemed very welcome, and no doubt woke some people up in the room. It’s exactly what I’m going to be doing once I make my move to my new city in a week or two.

I do nothing but day game, being 18. I’m new to the red pill, but picking it up quickly. Day game just seems much more real to me, anyway. I don’t imagine myself being a club type of guy. Day approaches take more balls anyway, and even if there’s rejection, it’s very rewarding.
Let me just add that I hate stuck up bitches. Today was my last day of high school, thankfully. High school girls are totally fucking unreceptive to anything you throw at them. You say hey to one, and you’re a “creeper” or something. They’re ridiculous. So I just called them creepers right back.

Ok, so, I don’t know who Derbyshire is or what he did, but Richwine was totally in the wrong. It’s not about being ‘PC’, but being correct. He used *facts* to support an *intolerant* view of the world. It is like using the *fact* that women are generally not as good at math/science to discriminate against women looking for a job in those fields. While it’s true that they are “on average” not as good, this doesn’t mean *they all* aren’t, and should be judged individually.
Furthermore, Richwine tried to make the case that (lack of) intelligence should be a reason to deny them the chance for a better life. Americans are stupid already. If the immigrants are smart enough to pass the bullshit naturalization test (which most native-born citizens can’t pass), then they should be allowed to pay taxes and provide to our economy like the rest of us.

It’s impossible to keep “racial differences” under wraps.
Every leftoid I’ve debated on racial differences came at be from a position of defensive bitterness, the kind where they’re just waiting for an opportunity to call you racist. Is this the behavior of someone confident in their beliefs? Do people feel the need to get snarky and sarcastic when they say the sky is blue?
I remember reading an article by Tim Wise, where he tried to debunk racial IQ differences. It was long, very well thought out, and covered every angle imaginable. Except one gigantic, glaring hole.
When he tried to explain IQ disparities, he put forward this argument: The same plant grows bigger under better sunlight, see? It’s not the plant, it’s the environment.
Despite the extremely detailed analysis, Wise did not even entertain the central issue: that the plants/races being compared may not be the same to begin with. He intentionally ignored this variable, which is pretty much what the entire debate is about.
He then moved on to talk about how allegedly high IQ people are not all that great, citing how intelligent people often do “evil” and selfish things. It was almost as if he was justifying his avoidance of a certain dark truth.
What this tells us is that people who spout the “everyone is the same” bullshit KNOW their belief rests of shaky grounds. They know the logic is not foolproof, which is why they support their belief with political narrative and moral outrage. And because of this, truth, or at least, doubt, will a chance to crack the social beliefs of our day. With the internet, it’s only a matter of time.
