How To Defeat Realtalk

August 21, 2013 by CH

A modest suggestion for the Cathedral and her foot soldiers. You know you can’t win on the facts. And you know you can’t win when there’s an army of independent broadsheeters (aka bloggers) more than willing to call you out on your lies. Not only willing, but happy to do so.

Realtalk is now a thorn in your side which will soon become a Poe-ian swinging blade pendulum whooshing over your noodle neck. You sense this, which is why you are in panic mode, squealing loudly like a cornered pig about to get mortally stuck.

So here’s how you take back the night. It’s quite simple, really. Deprive the truth-tellers of their power. Strip them of their online anonymity. Make it so that they can easily and quickly be identified by your PC Stasi and forthwith excommunicated from polite society and lawful employment. Do this while you still have a stranglehold over the collective consciousness and uncontested rule over the societal, bureaucratic and cultural apparatuses.

Gather your silent shock troops — the NSA, the CIA, PRISM, Google, Microsoft — and reveal the underground resistance that may one day explode into a full-blown revolution out of your control. But hurry!, before the enforcers that man your expensive military hardware wake up as well and point their gun turrets back at you. You know what to do. I’ve given you the keys to victory. Get cracking. Heh.

No doubt CH realizes that if independent thought were ever actually a significant enough danger to the status quo that actual direct tyranny was required to maintain it, this would mark the beginning of the end for said status quo.

Keep in mind that would just be the beginning, and “the end” could last a decades or centuries. There is still a lot of Hell left to trek through before this world could ever even hope to find itself beyond the grasp of evil.

Just keep it on a slow simmer. White people are good at that. Pick your opportunities. Don’t go off half-cocked. Continue preparation. Timing is everything.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” The call will come like a thief in the night, and escalate quickly. Eastern Europe in 1991. We know that it will come, but no one can possibly know when it will come.

Until then, it makes sense to work for the long controlled burn, so we can avoid a powder-keg flash. There is still a possibility for incremental reform through regular channels, and it would be impetuous to give up on them this early. The worst thing, the lowborn rabble thing to do, is to whip ourselves up into a needless despair. That said …

Si vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war.

Calling someone a racist is losing its potency quickly and the best I can tell, that is the last weapon they have.

Also, it will only take one mass media outlet to defect to our side. My guess is that any television station that took up the alt. right cause would be so wildly successful that the rest would either follow suit or quickly turn tale and run. This is why the policing of the media for any crime think is so ruthless. Like Normandy, if the right ever gets a beachhead the left will lose and they know it.

This has already happened, in one sense. Those who wear their anonymity, or value it as a first principle, are already making decisions.

The woman who runs a lawblog (or did) called Groklaw is killing the blog because she used Lavabit and learned that there was no longer such a thing as private communications.

Anyone with a federal security clearance has been making these decisions for several years.

As in the case of personal healthcare, the tipping point is here. Don’t complain about this in five years if you do not promote a natural right to privacy today.

So they won’t let us post anonymously. Time to “man up” by the standards of real men, and let your no mean no, and your yes mean yes.

Let them try to blackmail. Exploit their laws against them. Tie them up in procedure. Mock them mercilessly. Mock them with your aloof attitude, mock them with facts.

But most of all, mock them as CH does with brilliant rhetoric, with stories, with emotional catch points that hook the hamsters into YOUR worldview. I’m beginning to see the meme catching. And if I can see that here in the San Francisco area, it must really be getting out into the mainstream.

It’s how they operate. They can only attack isolated individuals. The biggest fear they have is everybody pushing at once. The threat I communicated to me insisted several times that I was the leader of some sort of enigmatic “cult” of “twisted” individuals. Their biggest fear was not me, but that there were people behind me.

What if 10% of people controlled all of this? What if the outrage of 10% of people could get you fired? What if 10% of people could get you blacklisted? The other 90% don’t care. They’re just trying to stay out of the crosshairs themselves. What if the other 90% locked arms and said they had enough? When 90% of a country turns “sexist, homophobic, racist” or anything else, it’s tough to fire somebody for being one of these things. It’s tough to incite violence against them.

Alinsky bought them a lot of time. Liberals breed themselves out of existence. His tactics allowed them to manipulate otherwise conservative people and raise entire generations of youth who are functionally inhibited by illogical thinking.

Think about this for a second: it terrifies them that there are pockets of resistance. It terrifies them that there are people like me writing this, you reading this, that don’t buy the narrative. Their worst nightmare is that we’re not the freaks or the isolated psychos. They are.

I don’t remember the source, but it said that only 15% of the people supported revolution in 1775. I would rather win with a majority at the voting booth, because what better government is there than “of, for, and by the people” is there?

Sure, it has corrupted itself, but what are you going to do? Reset and start with the same Constitution from 1776? Do you really think the politicians will allow us the rights we have guaranteed now? I doubt it. I bet the first one to get tossed out will be the right to protect oneself physically.

Actually, that would be a great improvement because then I would be a big fish in a small pond. Its white people who force me to realize my level of ignorance.

        For example:

        11) “UNINTELLIGIBLE GREETINGS”: Two Niggers passing each other on a street or sidewalk will loudly utter unintelligible garbage back and forth and walk away smugly as if something important had just happened. It didn’t.

The Nigger engages in a 24 hour a day effort to set itself apart from the rest of the Chimp Pack in order to be noticed by females, or by pretending it knows something that the others don’t in order to give its fragile ego a boost. Typically, in a scenario like described above, Nigger #1 will bellow out something like, “Hey Brutha — Foobity Hoo, Fu Man Chu, Who Be You, CanYaDigIt?”

The second Nigger, not wanting to admit that it doesn’t know what the first Nigger is even remotely talking about will reply in an even louder voice (to draw more attention to itself) “Summuh Fummuh, Shamma Lamma, Sweet Home Alabama, and a SideOrderO’FrenchFries”

The first Nigger, unable to understand a damn thing the second Nigger said, will pretend that it understands perfectly well as to not to appear stupid. It will respond in an even louder voice (again, typical “Look-A-Me” behavior) and utter some more idiotic garbage.

Pretty soon, they are both talking at the same time and trying to drown one another out as they continue on their separate ways — each content that it was the victor in a verbal display of dominance and showmanship, much like two Roosters puffing and strutting around the same yard to impress the females. Stupid Niggers….

But NOTHING close to Homo-Sapien. So yes, you COULD become a rockstar without much effort. This is a good thing. If the “talented 10th percent” — props W.E.B. DuBois could be gathered in a place with a mission. Let us then, destory niggers across the North American landscape. Would you not take up a just cause and “clear the landscape?” Remember the outcome of this mission ultimately. Ghetto Apes that bring your ENTIRE race down– eradicated from North America. Middle class blacks and more related to YOU highly intelligent blacks prove that 1) They can function amongst their superiors European descendants 2) They realize the value of Euro descended ideals, family, tradition, technology, education, et. al. 3) The top 10% can cull the bottom 70% and still bring the remainder, the 20% middle class into the 21st century.

        Jay,

the black man may be stupid and ignorant, but he is not EVIL; that is the exclusive domain of the white man; yourself being but a single example. These feral pavement ape, bastard sons of single moms are YOUR creation, not ours. It is YOUR intention to reduce us all to such a wretched and sub human condition.

I do not seek, nor will I accept, your nomination to help harm and abuse any people; you do that quite well yourself.

Besides your crusade to “destory niggers across the North American landscape.” would simply result in an expansion of your definition of “nigger” until it included me; and probably a lot of white people reading this blog.

I think black men generally have a tough road. All the extra benefits and affirmative action goes to the black women, and with all that money coming in, they show little respect for their men. The shit to overturn conventional families is very strong among blacks, with the power of money (welfare, good affirmative-action jobs) at work.

And whites, not seeing this (if I am right) take out their frustration about black people on the black men. The men get all the shit, the women get all the bennies. And often the men are guys I could have a beer with, but with their entitled attitude, this is far less often true of the women.

In the absence of war or significant external threat, the intelligence agencies are idle — they have nothing better to do than involve themselves in domestic trivia like internet commentary, personal communications, etc.

Some tips for your average blogger and commenter:

    1. Do not use gmail or any google services.

    2. Do not use social media.

    3. Do not use a smartphone for sensitive activities: use prepaid burners/cards.

    4. Use a domestic VPN which *keeps logs* and turns them over regularly. VPNs that claim to “keep no logs” are lying.

    5. Use Firefox in continuous private Mode; delete history on close; no third-party cookies; run NoScript with minimal whitelist.

    6. Do not use SSD drives unless you don’t care about someone else seeing the data on those drives.

    7. Use HDD drives for sensitive activities; use Truecrypt for full-disk encryption; use Parted Magic to sanitize your HDD drives.

Follow the 7 pieces of advice above and stay lucky.

Regarding throw away phones, if your everyday phone is in your pocket or nearby when you use the throw away phone, you’re not anonymous. They can identify other phones near the phone making a call. Same with making a call from a phone booth. And probably the same if you’re calling from one of those new nifty black box equipped smart cars, but that’s just a guess.

Here we are having a meeting in the room where white people communicate with spacecraft out beyond the Ort cloud and this coon is worried about us keeping secrets from “the white man”

        (((shakin my head)))

        We have no secrets.

Tell the truth and shame the devil.

TOR is bad news and I don’t understand why anyone thought it was particularly secure:

      http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2013/08/has_tor_been_co.html

The place where all the cp drug and dissent people go looks like a good place for certain agencies to exploit.

If you want “anonymity” don’t use the web. If you want a measure of privacy and security appropriate to the weekend-web-warrior, then employ some of the simple measures listed above.

“Ridicule” is the weapon du jure of the Cathedral.

There was a post here: don’t get defensive. Sure. I agree as far as it goes.

But “Ridicule” can become dangerous and potent – especially when you do not respond in some way to make your antagonist think twice

Lets go back to a Game principle: The person teasing is the person with higher status.

If you want to know who has power today, ask yourself: who is allowed to tease, to “ridicule” ? Who is allowed to be “offended”?

And then ask: Who are the people who are expected to play it straight, be “tolerant,” to take the “high road,” and “let things go.”?

In the Old Days, the guy Teasing and Ridiculing could do so because he was actually more powerful.

Today the Lessers of the world are being allowed to mock their Betters. In the normal state of nature this would never happen.

The elites of the Cathedral has every misfit under the sun mocking tradition, normalcy, merit, actual accomplisment, human excellence.

But why do the elites have it set up this way?

Because the real game is to defeat the higher IQ White European straight Christian Man.

If this is You, rest assured you are Enemy #1.

The message: stop worrying whether you are being Tolerant enough. You most likely have been

    probably too much.

Ridicule them back, preferably CH style.

Their ridiculing us doesn’t hurt as much because it doesn’t have truth behind it. Truth is like the brass knuckles in your punch. On the surface, it may seem tit-for-tat, but you assert your dominance when you have the truth behind you.

One should have a very thick skin when posting anything on the internet. Loss of anonymity means that the message can no longer be separated from the person.

I recommend that anyone who believes their privacy may remotely be at risk, get their affairs in order because the opposition is brutal. Ask Arpagus.

Personal details are distractions. Womanish opponents will be constitutionally unable to focus on your thesis apart from your irrelevant idiosyncrasies. (Females, and those who argue like them, have difficulty separating the person from the abstract point he is trying to make.) Anyone who comments provocatively online should know this.

It doesn’t even have to be a bad quality. They will use it when they are out of legitimate replies.

Try it sometime. Mention something about your person — say, the fact that you are an overweight black woman — and see how many anonymous critics will pass up a cost-free swipe at your person rather than rejoining your argument. I identify publicly and unabashedly as a Catholic. The haters obsess over how that colors everything I say, seeking its malign influence between every letter of every word I publish, and going apeshit when they spy some damnable connection between who I am and what I assert.

When a hater is at the end of his rather short rhetorical rope, he demands to know who would be so insolent as to disagree. (“Really? Um… Wow just wow.”) He needs some fact, any fact, to spin into the root cause of his opponent’s disagreement. Rather than confronting and countering the argument per se, the hater can just smugly declare, “Well she’s just a fat negro/he’s a brainwashed Catholic, of course he’d say that.” To them it’s grounds for summary dismissal. A win in their mind.

I just got done trying to explain that Fact of the Internet at the otherwise even-keeled Dalrock blog. I am proud to say he banned me for my efforts, proving by action what a hundred posts could not.

When someone has a decent argument, they don’t hesitate to deploy it, in shorthand if necessary. When someone is preoccupied with who is opposed to him, it’s highly likely they are out of ammo.

Pound the law, pound the facts, pound the table.

In the online argument, you’re right, but people do take this stuff offline. If you become known for supporting an unpopular opinion, people will deny you whatever they can get away with. Some will become a bit more active than just denying you things or being overly slow about things.

I just hope that if someone is outed or comes out, they’ve put their money where their mouth is.

Can “WE” be any more hypocritical? My eyes deceive me! Color me unsurprised, you can’t see your own behavior is exactly what you’re riling against.

What do you do to most women commenters? You attack their femaleness, so that you don’t have to give their argument any weight. You do this specifically if you don’t want to open a can of warms when the argument is about uncomfortable issues that you don’t want to face. Very deflective of you, Matt. I noticed you do this often.

I might let you slide on that (for I’m nice and compassionate), except I like to remind you that there is no time your slave gregi and the rest of his demented WN Army attack my argument. Instead, they dismiss me as a Joo. Why? As you point out, they have no legitimate replies in the face of the reality I toss in their collective visage. I never had gregi ONCE debate the issues. He always tosses out antisemtic one-liners, and calls me a Joo every time I refute his buddies’ conspiracy theories, as you had done in the other thread. Haha! You think throwing Joo every chance you get sprinkled with sexual innuendos hides your true meaning. I know exactly how fervent are your emotions. You’re not hiding anything.

You know, for a conscientious diligent man, it behooves one to pay attention to one’s behavior instead of rendering advice and moralistic useless stuff when he himself doesn’t follow them.
        .
“When a hater is at the end of his rather short rhetorical rope, he demands to know who would be so insolent as to disagree. (“Really? Exactly! From the mouths of HYPOCRITICAL babes.

I know they attack me here because they hate how I disprove and undo their bullshit argument. Didn’t you also accuse me of working for Israel as a viable argument? You should start practicing what you preach, dear. Your hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. You should go back and re-read this comment. You do all the things you accuse others of doing to you. But since I also respect your sexy mind, let me respond with my big head too.

What do you do to most women commenters? You attack their femaleness, so that you don’t have to give their argument any weight.

But it’s a loving attack. I wouldn’t call it assault so much as an arrangement of priorities. I find that objectifying and sexualizing women helps in communicating with them. It’s the dominant subtext already, I just make it overt to get it out of the way. And you’ll agree it’s a good thing to put a forcible end to your sex’s tendency for verbose inane chatter, to push your nattering face into the mattress and slap your ass, as it were. You can’t discipline yourselves. Once you’re under control you can transcend your “femaleness” and we can speak like something close to peers.

Further, I didn’t say I was immune to focusing on the trees for the forest. I said that it is a good idea not to volunteer those distractions, to remain abstract/anonymous/mysterious, especially to women, who will lose themselves in personal detail and drop the thread of thesis like a dog who spies a squirrel.

See, that was my thesis, and you are instead fixated on making the case for my hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is irrelevant to a case stated plainly. But not only is your focus on the speaker rather than the speech a feminine impulse, it is a handy tactic when you’ve run out of replies to the speech per se. That’s RICH coming from YOU!, etc.

Anyway, the scenario you painted for Nicole is the main reason I will not share info and post pics of myself here, including avoiding sometimes the questions you ask me.

Aaaaand, in the end you agree with me after having your little tantrum. I know you need the release, but there are other, better ways to blow off steam, honeybear.

We had this discussion over at Rollo’s when George went on an opinion segment anonymously and Aunt Sue tried to use shaming to get everyone to ditch their anonymity etc.

It was actually a good huge discussion: http://therationalmale.com/2013/04/02/its-their-game/

The Manosphere, Red Pill, and Game are concepts that exist and are based in reality, not theory. There’s NO reason to show anyone’s face. Anti-Manosphere/Game types know they can’t refute the concepts, so they want to discredit/shame/attack the people spreading knowledge of them. It’s ridiculously transparent.

If you didn’t have a clue who Tyler from RSD was, it wouldn’t change the fact that when you qualify yourself to a girl you lose attraction. If you had never seen a picture of Mystery or if Mystery turned out to be a 5’1″ 500lbs disfigured virgin slob who’d never touched a woman in his entire life, it wouldn’t change the fact that when you dress to stand out you get shit-tested on it and when you pass those shit-tests you gain attraction (what it WOULD change, is that way less people would be receptive to giving his teaching a read in the first place…but it wouldn’t change that teaching’s validity).

On the flip side, if Mystery turned out to be Brad Pitt, it wouldn’t make a hot girl react any more to a neg than she already does.

No one looked at Mystery with his fuzzy hats and black nails and went “this guy looks like a smart alpha-male role-model that I want to emulate” lol They looked at the concepts he was teaching and went “man, this guy seems like a freak, but everything he’s written completely gels with my life experiences so far…I’m going to go out and try some of this weirdo’s advice this weekend…holy shit it worked exactly like he said it would!! wtf?? okay NOW I’m interested in learning more about what he’s teaching.”

The only reason to even consider giving up anonymity is to win over the mainstream media, but 1) that’s impossible, we already know you can’t shove the red pill down people’s throat until they’re ready to swallow it, and 2) the MSM is a reflection of popular opinion…already a lot of retarded MSM articles have comment sections filled with red pill rebuttals. That’s fucking AMAZING progress compared to 10-20 years ago. Over time writers in the MSM will go “man, every comment section talks about how marriage is a bum deal for men, maybe I should write articles about that because that’s the popular opinion now”.

We’re changing things, slow and steady. Every guy who’s dissatisfied with the Blue Pill world around him that he can sense there’s something wrong with, who sees an MSM article and/or comment section that mentions this stuff, eventually hits Google and looks for more information. He draws his conclusions based on logic and analyzing his own life experiences, not based on how many credentials the person teaching the idea has and slowly he converts.

We’re winning, but it’s going to take a looooong time…and giving up your anonymity has no benefit, except for the other team.

We had a pretty in-depth discussion about this over at Rollo’s when George from the Manosphere went on an opinion show anonymously:

    http://therationalmale.com/2013/04/02/its-their-game/

Game/Red Pill/Manosphere concepts are based on reality and stand on their own. It’s irrelevant who’s behind the keyboard. The only benefit to ditching your anonymity is for your opponent, who can distract people from listening to your message by attempting to shame/discredit/bully/threaten/harm you.

We’re making a difference, because when guys disillusioned by the Blue Pill find Red Pill, the stuff we talk about explains their previously-confusing life experiences… It’s just a slow process, is all. 10-20 years ago, comment sections at places like Huffpro wouldn’t have hundreds of comments on an article about marriage explaining how marriage is a bad deal for men. That’s progress. Their reaction is to shame/bully everyone by taking away anonymity. But that’s fine, that’s what independent blogs like this are for. Take them all away and new ones will spring up.

        There’s no position to undermine.

        That’s like saying “if you don’t reveal who you are, then 2 + 2 doesn’t equal 4”.

        It’s irrelevant.

The only loss is that the mainstream audience who does not WANT to accept your position and will NOT accept it, will continue to not accept your position.

The goal shouldn’t be to convince the mainstream media of anything. It should be to let men who already suspect the Blue Pill is bullshit know that there’s a Red Pill out there. That’s it.

The people who embrace the Blue Pill will never ever ever ever ever ever ever accept the Red Pill. All they will do is attempt to keep the Red Pill’ers from getting the message that the Red Pill exists out to the men seeking answers. Putting your name and face out there simply allows them to fabricate ways to discredit you. “Lol this guy looks like a virgin, everyone disregard!”, “lol this guy doesn’t have a PHD, everyone disregard!”, etc. in the hopes that the dissatisfied Blue Pill’ers looking for answers will turn away before hearing the content of the message.

Even if you do nothing, and actually AGREE with them, they will make shit up to attack you with and attribute falsehoods to you:

Winning over feminists/white knights/anti-gamers and the general MSM is not a war that CAN be won. And it’s not the war that should be focused on.

The MSM is simply a reflection of popular opinion. When enough men have discovered the Red Pill, the MSM will start to reflect the Red Pill because they’ll realize that writing an article about how marriage is a bad deal for men will make them money because 90% of their comments on every marriage article are about that subject.

This is a long, slow process. The way to change things is to simply let disillusioned Blue Pill men know that there are answers out there.

I tend to disagree. Maybe it’s because I interact a lot with lawyers, but I’m well-versed in the power of rhetoric, and having powerful, public icons at the front has always been the way to win. You think logic wins arguments? BAHAHAHA. Yea right. What version of humanity are we talking about here?

Lemme explain it very clearly. When I joined the debate club at my uni those years back, one of the first things they taught us was that the facts and logic served to ENHANCE your rhetoric. NOT the other way around. They taught us how to debate sides of an issue that were patently wrong.

Think about it: How many religious people are out there? Christianity has been picked apart completely by science, dismantled at every turn, yet there are no shortage of Christians out there. Why? Because Christian leaders know the power of rhetoric. They know they don’t have any facts on their side, but you know what? You don’t need them. They HELP, sure, but they’re hardly what wins arguments.

For that matter, you also underestimate the power of the masses, and how easy it can be to win them. Even the ancient Romans knew this. The art of politics back in the day was how to sway the masses to your side with charisma and powerful rhetoric, throwing in factual seasoning as opportunity allows. The reason guys like you are losing to feminists is quite frankly…that they are playing the game better than you are.

Feminists are playing the game better than you. Let that sink in for a moment.

Done? Good. Your apathy in this affair will only allow your enemies to succeed. If you don’t learn how to play the game like a pro, then you’ll always be nothing more than a bunch of “fringe misogynists” that have zero power. And don’t fool yourselves: You have no power sitting here in the shadow. You change no laws. You do not affect society. Your scope is tiny.

Man up, learn how to play the game of the masses and rhetoric, and you may yet have a chance.

Yes, if it’s combined with facts, which you believe to be on your side. When you’re constantly dressing it up in terms that are only going to serve to piss them off, you’re not going to accomplish anything.

“Post screenshots of the discussion where you win them all over after you post there under your real name…”

Yes I have, and with religious people as well. They’re just as bad. “Swarm management”, we call it in local debating circles. You pick the most effective targets amid a crowd (Kinda like what I’m doing right now), and loudly repeat your arguments enough times. Goebbels knew this one rather well. For such a wicked man much about propaganda and rhetoric can be learned from him.

“That’s awesome, but on the street you will get jumped by the guy’s 4 friends while you’re trying to hit him and 2 of those will hit you from behind.”

When debating one person, you use the tactics best suited to debating one person. When trying to sway a crowd of people, you use tactics best suited to swaying a crowd of people. This is debate 101 stuff here.

“Reality VS theory here man. But again, good luck manning up. The rest of us will continue to do what’s been slowly working.”

You’re the one who needs to man up. I could honestly care less about the gender wars, I just like to delve in occasionally to sate my rather morbid curiosity. And you’re deluded if you think it’s been working. You’re losing this fight fast, and it’s because your tactics and strategies have been outmatched by your opponents.

But here’s a bit of hope for you: They might have stronger rhetoric, but if the facts are truly on your side, you have the edge. Match their rhetoric, and victory is assured. Good luck!

You fool, you really don’t get it, do you? When I engage such people, I don’t get muted. My messages aren’t deleted. I get a lot of “agree to disagrees” but that’s usually the worst of it. It’s because you’re too much of a fool to be diplomatic in your discourse with them.

Great start! You were onto something.

And then you went and exposed yourself as one more semi-educated intellectual borrower who can’t tell rumor from “fact.”

Truth doesn’t matter in rhetoric (a.k.a. sophistry) … until you demonstrate how much your pretty lie defeats your credibility and therefore your contention. Even if you had a factual point, you keep saying how little facts matter anyway.

In other words, you are using hot air to persuade us that hot air alone is persuasive. Try that “debate team” prestidigitation on your fellow dullards, dullard.

Demonstrate that religion is contrary to truth. And no more bald assertions of “Because Science,” which you have never investigated, much less can articulate in your own words.

The sophist takes certain assumptions as stipulated, though they are not, and then proceeds as though anyone who doesn’t share those assumptions is ipso-facto ignorant.

The non-sophist (or the Socratic method) makes no assumptions either way and proceeds dialectically to agreed upon (stipulated) facts — you know, those facts you just claimed were irrelevant to persuasion.

In other words, you have a decent enough point, but you need a different example. You display no awareness of what you don’t know, confusing inherited assumption for fact. Try a less controvertible example so that you can stay on-point, rather than insisting we all have to choose between 1) stipulating to your ignorant assumption or 2) going down the rabbit hole of an immaterial controversy, religion vs. science.

It doesn’t seem to be letting me respond to your latest post, so I’ll do it here. There’s no reply button next to it. Since the other guy hasn’t responded, I’ll give you some time.

“Demonstrate that religion is contrary to truth.”

Been done a million times, but that’s not what this debate is about.

“The sophist takes certain assumptions as stipulated, though they are not, and then proceeds as though anyone who doesn’t share those assumptions is ipso-facto ignorant.

The non-sophist (or the Socratic method) makes no assumptions either way and proceeds dialectically to agreed upon (stipulated) facts — you know, those facts you just claimed were irrelevant to persuasion.”

Who cares? It’s not about whether or not it’s logically sound, it’s about winning an argument. Why else do you think lawyers are such scumbags that’ll lie their way to victory with rhetoric and theatrics? BECAUSE IT WORKS. If they have the facts on their side, all the better. All I’m telling you to do is support your logical arguments with more powerful rhetoric in order to win, because logic enough is insufficient.

“Smart strategy. Pick on the runt.”

He’s not. Quite the contrary. I’m just fucking with him. He’s very excitable.

        Been done a million times…

See, this doesn’t work. An appeal to authority might temporarily distract the imaginary, credulous masses you are convinced we all are, but I am telling you your rhetoric fails precisely there. You have disqualified yourself from serious debate with anyone who smelled your oily car-salesman/bleached-teeth shtick from a mile away.

Facts don’t matter because I told you it’s been proved “a million times” that facts don’t matter. That doesn’t fly, sparky. You get better by engaging interlocutors who see your glaring weaknesses right away, not by producing loud infomercials for the sleep- and logic-deprived. You’ve got to bring something better than a say it confidently and people will think it’s true strategy to the non-mouth breathing audience.

But in your inability to correct a weakness I have now shown you three times makes me think you are one of those very mouthbreathers you’re trying to convince. Those kind of people often lack the imagination to understand a level of sophistication above them, and yes, they fall for crude appeals. It’s enough to simply declare we’re not buying the shuck and jive in you, much less are we prepared to declare with you that logic-free blathering is a maxim (!) of the persuasive arts.

Who cares? It’s not about whether or not it’s logically sound, it’s about winning an argument.

Who cares? The people with a capacity for logic care. And it helps to have more than pathos (emotional appeal/sophistry) when you’re trying to “win[] an argument.” Logos is what survives the smoke and mirrors after the speaker is done speaking.

Consult Aristotle’s Rhetoric, book III and get back to me, piker. It’s very readable, even at your level. I promise.

“See, this doesn’t work. An appeal to authority…”

What appeal to authority? Science doesn’t use appeal to authority, it uses evidence and solid reasoning. Would you like me to copy/paste the exact same arguments that have been used to thwart religious people a million times already? Why don’t you just look them up yourself?

        “Facts don’t matter because…”

I never said that, but go on ahead and debating points I never made, I would expect nothing less from someone who believes in a magic sky wizard. To help you since you’re struggling, I said that facts were of lesser importance to strong rhetoric when trying to win society at large. Put in fancier terms, logos is inferior to pathos and ethos. Don’t like it, too bad.

“And it helps to have more than pathos (emotional appeal/sophistry) when you’re trying to ‘win an argument.’ Logos is what survives the smoke and mirrors after the speaker is done speaking.”

At least we agree that having facts help. If only you could clue yourself into what I had actually said. I see that I’ve clearly struck a nerve with the religious angle.

“Consult Aristotle’s Rhetoric, book III and get back to me, piker. It’s very readable, even at your level. I promise.”

As much as you’re probably delighting in presuming I don’t know all about the scandalous history of sophistry, it’s a pretty pathetic tactic. You seem to be of the impression that I have this stance because I’m ignorant: Quite the contrary, I have a keen understanding of humanity and know what REALLY wins the masses. Sure, logos is the name of the game when it comes to the strictest of logical people, but what fraction of humanity is that, really?

You want pure logos, jump into the scientific community, and ditch your sky wizard, it’s not very logical at all.

You’re on the internet too, you know. You should stop insulting yourself. For that matter, I’m an agnostic, because science cannot demonstrate that God DOES NOT exist. Of course, that’s hardly a logical reason to believe that one does.

“,,,whose reaction to the irreducible ontological question is ‘sky wizard.’ And you’re clearly no fun.”

It’s really as simple as this: No evidence = You shouldn’t believe in any grand claims. You don’t go around believing in things because there’s no evidence to the CONTRARY, do you? Otherwise, what’s to stop you from believing in aliens? Chakras? Healing crystals? Use some of that logos.

        Einstein was religious.

Galileo was a Catholic who had a disagreement with the Church over a point of orthodoxy and was a bit too red-pill generally for them to tolerate.

Newton did his later work on religion, after having co-invented calculus as a tool so he could write his principles of physics.

I don’t quite agree. I believe “the truth will out,” but I am operating over the span of centuries, not just what I can achieve in a lifetime.

Lies are of temporary utility. The sun will eventually come up in the east again. No matter what the “bag of hammers” are momentarily persuaded of.

Lies contradict each other. They work on the credulous and those who want to be fooled by pretty untruths (*coughcough* women). Otherwise, even Joe Sixpack — or perhaps especially Joe Sixpack — comes built with a fairly fine bullshit detector, which is only really fooled by the psychopaths who manage to fool themselves. I believe conscience can be exercised like a muscle into usefulness; hence the putridity of Xenos and his ilk, whose bratty ignorance has nearly destroyed the institutions that help a man develop and maintain his conscience.

Finally, I refuse to condescend to the masses. They are my peeps. I will not place myself in towers above the rabble like chicken-livered SWPL leftist faggots. Rather, it is best to challenge the hoi polloi. So much enervation has been achieved by the left’s low expectations of average people. Not only do men rise to the challenge, they want to be challenged, tested, tried, made to show their quality. It’s the very crucible in which men are formed.

Whatever the eventual truth of a condescending premise, I refuse to rely on it. It’s better to ask men for the impossible and settle for the improbable, than to presume them deficient from the start and get the nothing you expect. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

Needless to say it took all joy out of reading that publication and now there are, of course, almost no comments and only Cathedral approved ones.

What idiots don’t get, or maybe they (the evil ones) do get it, is that of course anonymous publication is the very history of our country and a free people. Publius, the Federalist papers, the founding of our country in the 18th century. Writing anonymously is, of course, necessary when speaking real talk to power.

People have to have jobs in the real world to support their kids. If they somehow actually take away our ability to have a public forum like this anonymously then shit really will go down.

Why Feminism Succeeds While its Male Versions (Always) Fail.

    http://dissention.wordpress.com/2013/08/19/why-feminism-succeeds-while-its-male-versions-always-fail/

“To summarize, feminism has been very successful because of the very low barriers for membership and universalization of benefits and gains for its members. The same is not true for supposedly male-centric movements and ideologies which have more in common with snake oil schemes and cults than anything vaguely resembling a coherent movement with long-term objectives.”

Feminism is not benefiting sincere young women who are finding less and less straightforward guys for traditional dating because in the interest of self preservation, those guys are abstaining or using game tactics which can get in the way of normal communication.

The men’s groups I’ve seen are not exclusive at all, the writer is totally making that up. They dispense their ideas to anyone who will listen and profit from them.

This guy really gets it! I bid welcome to a fellow artisan of the art of politics.

At an earlier, more naiive time, I would have scoffed at the suggestion that there is an elite (with their Zionist collaborators) and have realised that in many respects they don’t need to be in full “control”; they just need to have enough influence.

The power and ability to influence through and via media, entertainment, politics, multinational corporations, international trade, international finance, what is taught in school and universities, every influential shpere of life.

        As the great George Carlin said;
You don’t need an official conspiracy when mutual interests converge. They KNOW what is good for them and what suits them and their agendas.

Murdoch does not need to call his call his editors to bark orders at them over the phone. They know what to do and what is expected of them.

Without enough checks and balances in ANY political system, it will eventually be corrupted, simply because power corrupts.

I was hauled into the local FBI office as part of a security clearance process, where they hooked me up to a polygraph and grilled me with rubber hoses. Sensing an opportunity, I offered to glean “intel” by posing as a dance video producer in Cambodia, and for oh, about $100K could carry on this charade for at least a year or two. I never heard back from them on this proposal, though I suspect that next time they will confront me about “Uncle Elmer” while trying not to reveal their hand. I will feign ignorance as well. Be not afraid.

“So here’s how you take back the night.”

Don’t think that went unnoticed. Nice one.

OK CH, so our lying enemies lose anonimity.

But would they really? When have the rules ever applied to THEM?

“Strip them of their online anonymity.”

Very true… You can’t punish people unless you can identify them… This is why you want to install Tor (search for Tor Bundle) download it and use it… Put a Linux kernel on a USB stick – boot into it first, removes all keyloggers – then run Tor… If you want to get E-mail use one that is OPEN to everyone, it’s not private so they can’t track you…

If you want private – use Encryption, and not the US crap – use international encryption – at least 4096 bit keys, as a minimum! Remember everything is a packet, so everything can be encrypted… Hide in plain site – publish the truth that must be shut-up….

NEVER use a REAL E-mail address… Wanna know why all of the places want a cell number or some way to “get in touch” if your account is hacked? It’s so they can ID you and punish you for saying, or exposing the truth… Don’t do it – use throw-a-ways, use Tor to connect – NEVER connect directly…

Hide, obfuscate, and always speak your mind – since that is what they want to stop…. The politically-correct bunch are the NAZI’s of today – they will first identify you, then come or you in the night…. This country isn’t free anymore… Sad, but true….

Avoid sites where you have to “log in” – it’s to track you… If you must, give a fake E-mail, if they E-mail you to get access – they want to track you… Use a public (open) site – there are several… Everyone can read it – and delete it… Use it – but only through Tor… You are a target – never forget it…

I am always amazed at how the left corrupts language. For example, “UNDOCUMENTED” workers are no such thing. They are foreign aliens and not in the country legally, hence the more apt description of “illegal aliens.” Instead this infraction of the law is dismissed as “oh, they are just UNDOCUMENTED – they just don’t happen to have the right ID card.”

It all started with that piece of sh*t Antonio Gramsci. Any hipster leftoid at a University can tell you all about him.

By the way, the fact that a strong independant blogger such as yourself has a donate button is really “alpha.” Afterall, nothing is more masculine than e-begging.

Another ‘advantage’ the Marxists have is that they’re too dumb to realize that using their real names to identify with left wing politics (such as using politically correct jargon) online is very bad for their incomes.

While others will be rational about whether the offender is needed for something that can’t easily be found elsewhere, they will often quietly unfollow, not do business, not hire and the left winger (such as a feminist) will never know why.

A publicly left wing dork has to realize that it’s not only 50% of people who might be badly offended by what the dork wants to assume is part of the PC norm. It’s often the case that the 50% that would be offended include most potential employers and business partners.

Conversely, a right wing businessperson is going to understand that many of his customers might be left wing, so he won’t publicly assail left wingers. He will only do so anonymously.

And the Internet has always had a rule where, if your intention is to stay anonymous while getting an opinion out, that intention should be respected.

Over at Salon, they won’t let people post anonymously. As a result, you can take a look at the comments under the Dear Prudence video where a dork went impotent upon learning his gf had been a slut when he should have just found someone who wasn’t.

The comments are overwhelmingly pro-slut. Even if it hadn’t become a norm in Amerika for wimpy beta males to acquiesce to the idea that their wives and gfs should have been allowed to garner big notch counts, the intelligent owner of a local business (or Coca Cola Corporation) wouldn’t use his real name to anger even a minority of his potential customers. The people who don’t care whom they offend will thus win by default.

The other side is so full of themselves and so impervious to the idea that their incomes could be adversely affected even if by only 20% of the people they offend, that they use their real names and “win.”
