The only thing that will put an end to it IMO is if ads featuring blacks hurt a given company’s bottom line. If companies start noticing that they lose customers whenever they feature ads with blacks, or a mixed-race couple, they’ll stop. It’ll take a long time, but we can do it.

Too lazy to search for the link but I recently read people respond worse when Africans are featured in advertising. Companies understand this but I imagine they consider vibrancy as a cost of doing business to stave off the inevitable Two Minutes Hate or IRS scrutiny.

Actually I think the majority know of the propaganda, but they don’t dare say anything. And they force themselves to forget it.
People think propaganda works by convincing people. That is just one effect. The main purpose of propaganda however is as a show of strength: show people what they have to say they believe, or at least not oppose, because otherwise they will be destroyed by those who are powerful enough to create the dominant propaganda.
So you have even people who know the propaganda is false actually convincing themselves it is true. Their awareness is there, under the surface, but they force it down. Things have ALWAYS been this way, in all ages and all times.
There is however always a minority of people, around ten percent, who are unaffected by propaganda and oppose it. This minority never goes away. There is a very interesting book about this, by the way, “Easily Led” by the British Dr Thomson, with a great list of propaganda from all across world history, and a discussion of how people react to it.

Check out the movie Prisoners..The main character Huge Jackman is a blue collar construction worker. Lives in a fairly rundown older house. His friend who is black lives in a beautiful brand new upper middle class big ass house. It comical how much of a contrast the two houses are. This of course has NOTHING to do with the plot of the movie.
These are all conscious decisions made by the director. God forbid he makes the blacks live in a section 8 housing unit. The examples of this are staggering lately..

If you’re looking for a film, go and see “Lone Survivor”. I read the book when it first came out and have been anticipating the movie since. I saw the film yesterday and it does not disappoint.
As an interesting aside, my brother and I went to the 2 pm matinee and the theater was completely full. Mostly retired aged men with a few bringing their wives.

Manned space flight is good – for the future. Not now. We don’t have the technology necessary to do anything with it except posture and say “Look, we are in space!”
There was that space station where the only thing they did was maintenance on the space station, simply for the sake of having it. Oh, and they had a bit of study on how plants react to being in space, because they needed to do something else.
People think of prestige in this issue, but when you know the scientific limits here, you realize that it would have been ridiculous to keep that space station around. We need much, much better computers and more knowledge of physics, fuel, how to build things, etc, before we can do anything viable in space. It will come, but not now. Cancelling spacery for the moment was the right thing to do. And don’t think “But we need to be out there to learn more about space!” No, that’s not how it works. The astronauts were just tightening screws and rolling their thumbs. The science about the technology takes place on earth. Unmanned probes are sent up to test it in space, and those are far more efficient and far less costly than sending up humans in the probes just because the voters think that’s needed.

Race-mixing, especially with blacks, seems more common per capita (i.e., more likely, pound-for-pound) in the UK than in the US. One reason I think is because Brits are trashier than American whites.

I’m not sure where you live, but most white women that I know well have not had relations with a black guy and I live in one of the blackest metros in the USA. The incidence will likely increase in the future, but from my experience its more like 25-30% at most. I only know one that has a kid with a black guy, although other interracial mixes are more common.

I insist on being 100% consistent in my community (nationalist) politics and don’t wish any group more self-inflicted pain or dysfunction. I wish all groups the best in NATURAL political strength and prosperity. I encourage it, which is why I recommended what I did. Those are the politics of a true nationalist. The rare true black nationalists should (and often do) wish the best for whites because they know that distinct white and black prosperity is not mutually exclusive and, furthermore, that being a consistent nationalist means respecting and granting the same right to the same politics for all others. That’s the main issue that WNs take with YKW: the latter doesn’t grant the right to their exact same nationalist politics to the former. If blacks can build strong communities on par with the best of large, white communities, then I wish to god that they would do it. The benefits to blacks are obvious, and I would be unselfishly happy for them. Insofar as what such progress would mean to me and my group, from a selfish perspective, it would mean that if they could do that, then they wouldn’t need whites, wouldn’t feel the need to keep coming here in droves from Africa, and would probably clamor for their own nation apart from USA whites. That is what would then make the most political and social sense for them, despite the longings of white woman fetishists.
I do highly value the phenotypic expression of a beautiful white woman and would hate to see that ruined through excessive out-breeding, but in the end the society, cognitive potential, specific emotional behavior patterns, and culture are what matters most. It’s all unique, it works for us, and we like it. If we had to live together and blacks could prove themselves to be the true equivalent of whites in every way, including genetic (if for nothing but to preserve worldwide genetic variability – not a sense of superiority) then intermixing would begrudgingly be tolerated. It hurts me to say that because I do highly value our phenotype (diversity is beautiful).
I will go on record to say that I don’t believe that our genes are the same, and I don’t think that you have the ability to make large functional communities to a white standard. The evidence just is not there, worldwide. So, as of now, I am against permanent integration. However, if hypothetically things changed overnight due to some kind of supernatural social and genetic magic, then, hypothetically, the social and cognitive standard is what matters most. However, blacks are going to have to come up with something akin to 17th century Vienna before most of us are believers. Maybe it’s brewing deep in the Congo somewhere. It’s not brewing in Detroit, New Orleans, or New York.
You have a persecution complex that disallows you from understanding the deeper politics of everything, which are ultimately based on group social behavior that results from average group intelligence and other variables within human biochemistry and physiology, and not skin color. Skin color is only a physical signal for the probable existence of a specific expression of the aforementioned factors. However, this difference shouldn’t matter to you, although I’m sure you took my previous sentences as an insult, if you are happy with and proud of your specific intellectual capacity, hormonal urges, and everything else that characterizes you. Now, take millions of you and you have black society. If you like you, then what’s the problem? Be proud. We aren’t you and you aren’t us. I don’t see why you care what we think about you or that we don’t want to share a society with you. We certainly don’t care about what you think of us.

There is no logical reason to lump everyone into a single category.
Have you ever been to a jazz concert? I have, many times. The “colored” people you find at these events tend to be educated, successful, and all around pleasant folk to be around. These civilized, peaceful people don’t deserve to be thrown into the fire with the likes of those playing the knock-out game.
I fail to see why its always an all or nothing proposition.
One could even use this analogy in a different way. The nice people that occupy the ship with 19 decks of said people aren’t actually in charge of their destinys. There’s a small group of “nice” people locked away in the control room of the ship. They are the navigators, have docked with the other ship and ordered everyone aboard to assist them.
If you refuse, you’re thrown overboard.

Again, it’s the invalid outliers argument. The issue is that you can’t sort through their political group (and yes, 99.9% identify with blacks as a political group) for the outliers while indefinitely tolerating the general group dysfunction. It’s not our groups responsibility either financially or socially and it’s not fair to us and our communities.
You also unintentionally bring up another good point. Just because someone is superficially pleasant does not mean that they conduct themselves in a manner that contributes to increased community function. You have no idea how they raise their children, their attitudes toward or participation in dysfunctional behavior, or how functionally co-operative they are with others in their general community. All of that matters toward healthy group function, and their statistical behavior seems to be at least partly a function of the genetics that they carry regardless of their individual demeanor. Their relatives and offspring are likely, statistically, to fall within the general group patterns. Once more, sociopaths of all races are great at mimicking healthy behavior when appropriate. Your Jazz club observations are a bit silly.

Although this fad violence carried out by a few dozen individuals is not an appropriate example of anything, as long term violence statistics matter much more, if we for a moment entertain the fad as a symptom of long term group violence statistics then it is appropriate to note that all people bear a responsibility for the social tone of the political group that they attach themselves to. If the general group behavior was so abhorrent to this segment of people, they would disassociate themselves from black identity as a political cause and start their own ethnic movement. None do this, mostly because there are not enough of the uber-civilized type that you say that you perceive. If it is as you say, where is the strong, vocal political support for a more functional culture for more civilized black people? If this existed, they would be very noticeably attempting to bring all black people into this cultural fold and, if the potential were there, they would succeed out due to political and social Darwinism. I’ll say that again: if black people could behave differently and create more functional societies in proximity with whites then they would because it would lead to an increase in their quality of life. This is the same type of cultural evolution that occurred with all more civilized groups in their distant past. Communication has never been easier. Where is the significant support for a stronger culture?

From my perspective, the black community should step forward and do something about this. Their failure to act, for years now, is an indictment of the black community generally. IQ can be charted on a bell curve. Very low and very high IQs on both ends, the fleshy middle bit an average range for a given population. There are always going to be outliers – the mentally deficient and the high geniuses – but generally speaking, most of humanity will fall in the fleshy bit, ie, average intelligence. The variances between races will, for the most part, still fall within the overall bell curve, with black Africans on average a little closer to the low side and Asians on average a little closer to the high side. Nobody is suggesting all (or even most) blacks are retarded. There will still be blacks with very high IQs, and Asians with very low ones.
If anything is lowering the IQ amongst the black/Latino population that holds advanced degrees – which is not itself a measure of IQ, btw, but that’s a different argument – it’s affirmative action. Which elevates sub-part students (presumably of lower IQ) to areas in academia that would have otherwise been closed to them, based on mental capacity and work ethic.
There might be something to your point. But if there is, it’s a matter of liberal politics, not biological reality.

So, probably not. Outliers can achieve in these fields.
However, in the case where affirmative action was involved, an IQ that would otherwise be automatically assumed to be at least average for a profession would have to be validated on a case by case basis and not assumed.
As the rigor decreases in professions that also embrace affirmative action, it is more likely that the individual’s IQ would dip below what is average for the ‘white’ (fixed it for you) population.
However, the greater perspective is the point that you were trying to make with your rhetorical question. I get it, and it’s an irrelevant point for the reasons aforementioned in another reply of mine. The outliers don’t matter. The IQ bell curve and resultant social behavior statistics of the population are what matter in terms of how society functions. You can make the outlier argument forever, and the practicality of the cost/benefit ratio will not change.
Also, you’d want to analyze the genetic composition of these outliers. To make a better argument, you’d only want to include pure African engineers and doctors. Otherwise, it could be argued that the white racial mix in their blood is assisting their IQ. Of course, we will also compare the ratio of pure African doctors and engineers to the incidence of criminality and other dysfunction in pure African groups to get a clear picture of the cost:benefit analysis. No genetic cheating! Of course, I know that you wouldn’t want think that European genetics were to blame for black achievement or higher social functioning anyway. Also, form our perspective, European genetics don’t owe black people anything and therefore it isn’t our responsibility to donate. If everyone is equal, then genetic and social intermixing isn’t necessary for equal social function and achievement.

No I don’t. I think the average black engineer has an IQ well over 100, and the general US population average is in the high 90’s. But it’s nowhere close to the average IQ of white or asian engineers, which is probably around 135.
There simply are not any black people with an IQ of 140. “But what about Neil Degrasse Tyson?” Yes there is a black man who was granted a PhD in physics, and there’s no indication that he plagiarized anything. (reference to “Dr.” Martin Luther King who literally copied about half his dissertation out of a recent book written by someone else.) He’s never done any analytical research, and as soon as he got his quota PhD, he was hustled into an administrative position where he didn’t have to compete on the basis of doing physics.

Second, being “brilliant” in linguistics or sociology does not indicate nor require a 140 IQ. You’re just guessing at their IQ, and likely don’t have a truly solid concept of what a 140 IQ might look like. Linguistics and sociology are both very soft fields, academically speaking, and it is easy to seem “brilliant” to less educated people when you have publicity for fairly rote research, can speak well in general and have a good grasp of your field.
From what I can determine, McWhorter hasn’t invented any groundbreaking linguistics theory, the traditional signal of “brilliance” in such a field (ala Chomsky), and simply researches and speaks on linguistics through a racial lens. This is a tried and true way for a reasonably intelligent minority to gain a position at a prestigious university as well as gain media attention. He also has a cute theory of a specific language evolving due to subjugation of a specific island people. The liberal media eats that type of stuff up but such a theory is impossible to prove, linguistically speaking. It’s simply something that he decided could have happened and he subsequently wrote about it. It’s nothing special. Where exactly do you get “brilliant”?
Michael Eric Dyson is another minority academic that focuses on race issues. He can likely speak to these issues in a voice that reasonably sounds like a white man’s, and he enjoys a lot of media coverage because of it.
It’s no surprise to anyone here that you chose two racially focused minority academics as your choice for illustrating black high IQ. Their messages speak to you emotionally, and they henceforth become “brilliant” in your mind with an assured 140 IQ. This is despite there being no evidence for correlation to such an IQ in either their accomplishments or even in their successful entry into their respective soft academic fields.
Your conclusions are fully representative of the emotionally tinted flawed perspective on reality of the left. Your thought processes are a great example of the exact general problem that this country is dealing with, that conservative see and liberals do not.
Assuming that these two men possess genes that are relatively free from European influence, their IQs very likely top out at around 130. That’s a statistical fact. Now, 130 is a strong IQ. It’s not 140, but it would be more than adequate for survival the fields that these gentlemen inhabit. In these non-rigorous fields, a 130 IQ would allow for as much successful book writing and talk show interviews that these guys had material to do.
The issue is that there are twice as many whites with 130 IQ (2% of the population) as there are blacks (1% of the population), per 100 people, and that that shift in the bell curve means that there is a 15 point difference in average IQ. The average IQ shift is where the problem lies. As I before stated in other replies, the outliers are meaningless.

My point is that this strategy only works when white genes aren’t contaminating the black intelligence group in our descriptive research (your hypothesis being that blacks achieve on parity with whites). I’m not quite sure what you mean by “count”. Non-hispanics with African admixture normally identify as black and are counted in all group statistics. Therefore, you count in the statistics. People with your mixture are not turning out hordes of star STEM educated people and academics, despite the existence of some. However, my primary concern is with the crime. I care much less about your upper level achievements, in terms of the politics we are discussing. Personally, I’m fine with somewhat adjacent communities of peaceful minorities as long as my community isn’t forced to interact with them nor do they interfere in our group politics. They should be able to stand on their own in every way, creating legal work for themselves through legal value creation, otherwise the adjacent functional community is getting a horrible deal when forced to integrate. Minority neighborhoods are so consistently bad that there is growing support for the past research that pointed out racial disparities in intelligence as well as how intelligence as well as race based hormonal profile differences relate to crime. If this is true, which it seems to be, then there is a very real permanent social penalty to us for intermixing. This is apparent, as even mixed blacks don’t improve the black crime statistics enough to make them even remotely acceptable to white standards. Thwak’s attempt at a point was to list some minority academics, most of whom were unfortunately famous for something that minority academics find easy to become famous: race theory. My point was that his point is invalid because the experiment is contaminated by the mixture of NDT (the only respectable academic listed). If black genetics are to be disproven to account for a decline in group intelligence and an increase in violence relative to whites, then the point must be made with people who don’t clearly have seemingly recent large percentage of European genetic code in their mix. Otherwise, the descriptive social race research that we are doing is mired by a large invalidity.
The fact remains that Thwak could cite the existence of ten NDTs. The overall group crime statistics wouldn’t change. They’re still unacceptable even with the recently mixed people included that, ostensibly, help the statistics (I don’t know if they help but I’ll give it to you for the sake of argument). Nothing will even remotely begin to sway the opinion of me and those like me until the crime and education statistics permanently change to be on parity with the poorest of white society.

Even if homo sapiens came from Africa originally (not certain, homo sapiens could also have come from the area that is now Armenia), that doesn’t mean we come from the Negro race. Negroes did not fill Africa in the past. They migrated from the northwestern part of Africa under Sahara, going east and south, killing Bantus and pygmies and other peoples in their way and enslaving the survivors. Let’s say you have a rainbow. There is a part of it that we can see, and a part of it that we can’t see. Of the part that we can see, there are some colors, or a sort of range of colors. So let’s take three of the main ones: yellow, orange, and red. “White” as a “race” takes yellow and orange and makes all of them yellow just because there is a bit of yellow in them. You have to recognize red as red because it has no perceivable yellow in it, but even if it’s actually orange-red or coral, you don’t recognize the yellow in it because you’ve decided that a drop of red makes it red…except when it doesn’t. Orange has at least half red in it, but you choose to ignore this simply because you believe that yellow is the best, and counting the orange will increase the range of yellow in a way that you like.

Your response is simple (as in intellectually deficient) and played out. The short answer is that a well functioning society has nothing to do with outliers that we have to find with magnification of any group. A functional society is contingent on what we can see from the 5000 foot view, ie: the statistical behavior of the group at large. No overly-dysfunctional behavior of the group at large is worth the trouble for a few outliers that are matched, or better, with individuals from better behaved groups. The price is too high, especially when there is a genetic threat to the better behaved group that will reduce the overall social function of the group in the long term. Is there anything else that you wished to argue?

1. I once dropped my wallet at Wellesley College. It had $200 in it. It was a busy time of the day, tons of students rushing about, plenty of them could have just taken the wallet as they walked by. Yet 10 mins later, I returned to the spot where I dropped it and my wallet, along with all of the cash, was still there. Wellesley College is a highly diverse place. There are White people, Jewish people, Asian people, Hispanic people, Black people. No race comprises a clear majority of the population. Whites are only 37% of students there.
[So your wallet lay on the ground for a full ten minutes untouched and this is your counter argument that diversity does not increase social tension? Ooookay.]
2. Yale is situated in a not-so-nice neighborhood of New Haven. The surrounding neighborhood is homogenous, yet Yale is much much safer than the surrounding area. When I was visiting there, 5 murders occured in New Haven in the span of 3 weeks. Zero of them were student on student. Your logic would lead to people thinking that there would be tons of violence and discord between the Jews/Whites/Asians/Hispanics/Blacks and yet saw the opposite happen. Heck, even the secret societies have women and minorities in them.

I realize. I’m not completely sure what drives me to respond, other than intermittent frustration at their general unsalvageable ignorance. I think there are some racism in the world still, because most countries still prefer to see people that look like them in TV, the problem with that is that in many Western countries, we miss some interesting Asian TVseries, the most we get is some Animes that neutral looking in their ethnicity.
