Newbie at the helm. Stumbled on here a while back and have enjoyed the many insightful game-related posts but this is the first of my own. It’s off the tolerance/diversity topic, but I got the sense the crowd here is OK with (and maybe takes pleasure in) advising the less skilled in the comments section.
So: I’m a notch above AFC, generally shy/introverted, number of partners lifetime in the low double-digits, most of my time, including now, spent in LTR’s. Mostly looking at picking up some game – pun intended – out of boredom with monogamy and to improve my social skills and self-image. I live with someone and have no intention of leaving her, so I’ll be doing either cheating game – there must be a more poetic form of expression but it escapes me – or flirting and running away coward game. YAWN… OK, decided to talk to a ridiculously hot girl last night at a cafe/bar expecting a 5-second conversation. I instead got offered a number after 5 minutes.(purportedly to be able to get some info from her about a party she’s putting together) and she opened up a lot about her family background and artistic endeavours/career. I kept at it, making eye contact, smiling, and trying to act much less interested than I was. She ignored her (girl) friend that was sitting next to her for pretty much the entire time, but at some point it seemed natural to go back to our respective friends for a bit. We bumped into each other half an our later and there was some touching/hugging since it looked like the scene was breaking up. A little while later, I really was getting ready to go home (super tired) and she was getting cash from an ATM. She said she was gonna take a cab, I said we could maybe share, she said where she lived, and I … said I lived in the opposite direction, and was obviously having an internal fight regarding what I wanted to do in regard to her and how pushy I should be. I ending up just saying I was gonna get in touch with her, and she said it would be great if I came to her party and that I should bring all my friends. This was the first discouraging sign, and also the last thing said. Of course, I kicked myself for being such a coward and not pushing to see how far I could take it. Since I’m in a relationship I don’t want to jeopardize, I feel I should only be open to one-nighters or a similarly casual arrangement. Still, I now find myself scheming for what to do with this number I have. HELP!!! 😛

This is a “chicken little the sky is falling” statement. Mankind has been through great numbers of ups and downs and morphings of cultural customs throughout history. The big pictures is that we collectively continue, over the long haul, to extend the average life expectancy and to have less and less violence (despite what gloom-and-doom newscasters might seem to convey – read Steven Pinker’s book on this subject). We eventually sort things out. This is a weird and anomalous “moment” in history that we are going through right now regarding gender roles. But, to extrapolate from this that we all are going to hell in a handbasket for keeps is an very adventurous supposition. Mankind has a long history of eventually sorting things out. This present back-assward set of notions about females’ proper social roles will eventually be straightened out, I strongly suppose. IMHO, the sky is not falling.

I don’t know enough about Rory Gallagher to comment, but regarding Terry Kath I suspect Hendrix admired not only his talent and creativity, but also the fact Terry achieved what Hendrix always wanted but never could get:
To front a large band with horns, percussion… and produce complex songs containing “movements” , refrains, sub movements, recursive patterns…
And still be able to just jam when he wanted to.
Terry Kath was able to do it. Hendrix never was.
In some Hendrix songs you can hear him trying to do it; Cross Town Traffic is a good example where he does the horn part with his voice.
Its important to remember how the culture was different when Kath and Hendrix were growing up; leading your own “big band” was a big fucking deal.

There are many on the Right who use libertarianism as a fall-back position, of course. They don’t dare speak out against Affirmative Discrimination by arguing that it is bad for Whites, so they talk about “freedom for all”. Reasoning that if you take away government power, it will be better for Whites than government power being used against Whites, though not as good as government power being used to set things right. But by running scared from truths about race, they leave the door open for anti-Whites to join libertarian organizations. Which they do. And then they start talking loudly against “racism”. And once they are in positions of power they will “expose racists” and have them expelled from the movement, showing none of the tolerance that they themselves were shown. And this is how you get a corrupted movement. It has happened to many, many political parties in the West.
When you dare not speak about race, simply saying that “We are not racists and we don’t want to talk about it”, you confirm that the Left’s paradigm is right, that “racism” is a great evil and that people can be without “racism”. When you confirm that paradigm, people will naturally support the Left, because the Left is the side that “promises to do something about racism”. Rather than the libertarian, who says racism is indeed terrible, but he is not going to do something about it. Heads-up: the majority of people want government to do something about bad cultural values in society, and that is never going to change. So you should discuss what those bad cultural values are. You should oppose the Left on that issue, expose their “anti-racism” and anti-culture and promise to work against it, show the facts and arguments for why the anti-culture should be opposed, instead of just saying that “my ideology has no opinion on the matter” and hoping that it will work. It won’t. Choosing not to fight, not to give people the answers to the opponent’s claims, never works.

You’re right. We’re in the age of uber-cool pessimism/cynicism, and it’s being driven by media influences. Nowadays nothing’s cool until it’s terrifying and dark, and bright themed entertainment is considered whimsical. Yet the vast majority of people who aren’t so dirt-poor that they don’t have internet live in 1st world splendour. Life has never been so good yet people want to mutilate themselves with tattoos and fill their brains with drugs to feel tough. People are flirting with the dark side, and their hearts are turning that way. Surprisingly, those who went through real dark times, such as wars, displayed the most optimism and communal togetherness. I went to a shen yun performance recently and couldn’t get over how optimistic the dancers were. It’s quite difficult to go against the anaethetised tide and be a representative of something good in this world.

Being at or near the top of your list, of course, is better.
Thus, not Facebook stalking girls at all will make the “Invite Friends” list for Events eventually give you a meter-read on which girls are most interested in you.

This is true, because the tolerance leftists ask for is impossible save for willful ignorance. Any time you override natural feelings, unless it’s because you have increased knowledge on a subject and therefore know better, you are merely repressing something, usually for social status. When you repress and ignore feelings you dull the feelings altogether, and lose the ability to feel them, and when we mess with mother nature it’s always a negative. In the end, many liberals recognize this, which is why they accidentally spout “racist” comments. Many liberals don’t even have the willpower to repress their instincts and wisdom gained from life experiences. I’ll never tolerate the intolerable. I don’t ever believe in fully retreating from the world, but I do retreat more and more into the conservative Church, where my true friends are, where I can express myself freely. It is much better than putting up facades of tolerance.

1- Listening to the tape Sterling sounds more like a jealous boyfriend than a racist. He is upset his young trophy is hanging w/ another man and posting photos. By the fact that he is dating this mixed race woman he is demonstrating his lack of aversion to dark skinned people. It’s simply that men might accept a woman from another group but those same men reject and or fear men from that other group. No mystery here.
