Gratitude

January 9, 2015 by CH

America is feverish with shamelessness. Teeming Trash World migrants are escorted here on a transnational, transubstantiating, blood red carpet, only to arrive and shamelessly agitate for handouts, hand-overs, and upper hands. Single moms shamelessly flaunt their “independence” and “empowerment” as their kids have to endure a parade of dickheads tromping through their living rooms. Sluts shamelessly crow about their accomplishment persuading desperate losers to dump a spastic fuck in them. Fatties shamelessly parade their blubber, and doubleplusshamelessly demand acceptance of their grotesqueness. SWPLs preach diversity while shamelessly doing all they can to insulate themselves from their ruddy religious icons. Government and corporate globalists shamelessly smash the concept of a nation for a fatter wallet. SJWs shamelessly slake their hatred for their enemies’ perceived sin of hatefulness. Male feminists shamelessly surrender the last vestige of their masculinity for a patronizing pat on the head from screeching witches.

Soon, women will turn the Walk of Shame into an exuberantly proud strut.

Worse, the American shamelessness fever burns in a Bonfire of the Butthurt. Enthusiastic abandonment of humility mixed with prickly sensitivity is 100% bad box office.

What this world needs is a little bit of gratitude. And that’s the reason for this post. A simple thank you to you, the readers, for visiting the Chateau and, more importantly, for taking the lessons to heart.

It goes unmentioned (until now) that CH receives emails almost daily from grateful readers who saw improvements in their lives, or in the lives of people who matter to them, after applying the lessons taught here. Propriety, and sometimes requested confidentiality, dissuades the Chateau from printing these emails.

Some of the emails are incredibly moving. Like the one from an American soldier who lost friends on the battlefield in a most horrific manner, but who found sustenance and fortitude in the CH writings to bear the pain of loss and carry on. The resulting improvement in his dating life was just icing on the cake. To think that this blog is read thousands of miles away by warriors as spiritual nourishment is quite humbling.

But the email that swelled the heart of CH the most was the testimonial from a father of a teenage son. He explained in eloquent detail his distress from watching his son grow unhappier and lonelier by the day, another numberless castaway of a hypercharged high school dating market. The father stumbled across this digital oasis searching for “help my son find a girlfriend” and, struck by the unglossed nature of the CH message of hope, passed along the Rude Word to his son. At first, his son dismissed him with an embarrassed flourish, which the father expected.

Then, something changed. A few months later, the father noticed his son smiled more, and gained a renewed interest in his hobbies. He was funnier, and fun-loving. The moping and slammed bedroom doors decreased in frequency. Not long after that, the son casually announced over dinner he had to leave the house for a couple hours to “meet his girlfriend”. Dad, a smart man, did not make a production out of it, but inside he was bursting with pride and joy.

As was CH.

The gratitude, therefore, is for the people behind these testimonials, because in the end if nothing comes of Chateau Heartiste but that one attentive father saved his son from loveless solitude, every word would have been worth it.

So thank you readers, and thank you to those who have made donations, big and small.

I leave you all with this:

Love ferociously what is worth loving, hate with equal passion what is worth hating, and know that in the happy flux between those two poles you can make chaos dance to your tune.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9

Read throughout Isaiah for how God is going to “forgive in a big way” those who have sinned, but turn away from it and have faith in Him.

        Isaiah 55:7:
Let the wicked man leave his way and the evil man his thoughts; Let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy on him, To our God, for he will forgive in a large way

Imagine what “large” means to God… He is, indeed, going to forgive in a big way.

I have been smiling since 2015 began. I have kissed more strange women in the last two weeks than i can ever recall, within minutes of meeting. I now hit the gym with the same ferocity I bring to following my personal mission. My body and my life is changing. I was a 60 pounds heavier just 7 months ago. My brothers in real life and my brothers online carried me until i had the strength to carry myself. Truly, this post you made CH brought tears of joy to my eyes. I know the feeling now of not being able to stop smiling, of wreaking pure chaos on these hoez and seeing them not only enjoy it but invite more. The number of men and women i see living static lives makes me realize the gift you and Rollo and Mystery have given me is truly too valuable to ever repay. So I hope you walk with a skip in your step (fuck I already know you do haha) because you are doing more for MEN than any fucking source i can think of. Longtime reader and have turned many of my friends on to the collective wisdom of both the Chateau and its commenters. Some of the most insightful stuff on the web.

Speaking of sons… Delicate and serious question: My 13-YO son is getting game ready. I’ve started sharing a lot of the (age appropriate) wisdom I’ve learned here with him and I think he has the potential to be a natural. The girls already dig him. He’s an aloof, funny, good looking kid. He knows he’s the prize and already there are several girls who are crushing hard on him. I mentioned to him recently that one girl in particular was keen on him and he replied with a cocky smirk “Yeah, I know… Of course she is.” Proud moment for sure.

The issue: He’s under endowed where it counts and I’m racking my brain trying to figure out how (or even if its appropriate — at the right time) to share some wisdom to help him compensate. Teen girls can be cruel as shit and are wicked gossips.

As folks here have some of the tightest game in the universe, what advice (if any) would you give a kid to help him overcome this particular deficiency? You can’t really raise the issue directly as that would acknowledge something that he’s likely going to start being self-conscious about very soon.

The last thing in the world I’d want is for self-consciousness over the size of his junk to fuck up his game. Any advice?

He’s 13. I think he’s entitled to be a “little underdeveloped” at that age, unless you want him to be similar to the trash out there developing their pubes and breasts etc before they turn 10 years old.

Just make sure his nutrition is well rounded. And make sure he does SOME weight training WITHOUT overdoing it and messing up his future bone growth.

Also, to the readership: have you stood up, in the real world, to a crazy feminist or brainwashed leftist today? I, for one, am trying to influence minds, one person at at time.

The left and the MSM is quite literally the enemy of truth and facts, and is the champion of lies and censorship (of incontrovertibly obvious facts). Educate your friends and family when you can.

As white men are under attack by the MSM every day, one should consider that quite literally the Africans (such as those who just did the mass murder in France), who get to the United States, Canada, and Western Europe every day to cause chaos and ruin society, get there on planes and boats that would not even exist but for the white man. Without us, they literally would not even have been able to make it to our continent. As CH says, we pay to fly them in essentially “first class.”

You’re right about that. And television, used to produce hatred against Whites and encourage mass immigration, wouldn’t exist without Whites either.

To be grateful and to be enlightened, read the White History Today blog. Today in White history:

1899 – Englishman David Misell obtained a patent for the first flashlight.
1863 – The Metropolitan Railway, later known as the London Underground, first opened.
1729 – Biologist and physiologist Lazzaro Spallanzani was born in Italy. He discovered echolocation and made important contributions to the study of the body and animal reproduction.
1475 – In the Battle of Vasliu, Stephen III of Moldavia decisively defeated the invading Ottomans, with casualties beyond 40,000 on the Ottoman side.

      Yesterday in White history:

1950 – Sir Alec John Jeffreys was born in Oxford, Britain. He discovered the technique of DNA fingerprinting, used to identify humans, animals and other organisms from their DNA material.
1923 – Spanish engineer Juan de la Cierva flew the first autogyro in Madrid.
1868 – Søren Peder Lauritz Sørenen was born in Denmark. He introduced the concept of pH for measuring acidity and basicity.
1816 – The Davy lamp, a safety lamp used in mining, was first tested by its inventor Sir Humphry Davy in Britain. It could be used in mines despite the presence of flammable gases.

This should be daily reading for kids in school, so they’d know what to be grateful for. This, and the Château, of course.

Just seen Chris Rock’s movie Top Five. Now I like Rock for his stand up but his kosher movie talks about a fictional movie where Hatians kill 50,000 white guys . And the only white guy in the movie is a faggot who likes getting his ass fingered. Probably the most anti white movie I have seen in that heterosexual white males do not exist. Also has guest appearances by the kosher Seinfeld, Sandler and Goldberg.

I do feel that young men who struggle with the opposite sex can and often do turn into ticking time bombs just because there seems to be something in the male species that needs affection and love from the opposite sex especially when they are in puberty.

So cheers to helping more young males experience the joys of love, affection and relationships. They’ll grow into healthier men because of it and contribute to a better society.

The first time I read this site it was depressing…the worldview seemed cynical and there seemed to be a kind of hatred for women. And I didn’t come back for quite a while after that first time.

But eventually I did come back to read some more, and then some more, and my attitude began to change. I saw it as actually a source of some real truths I had never understood before. I am, realistically, too old to make much use of it myself anymore but nonetheless it was a revelation to look back at my interactions with women over my life with this new understanding of female motivations. I could see where I made the big mistakes. It’s great if young men can get this kind of information…the sooner after puberty the better. They will be happier and women will be happier too, though they might not admit it.

In the spirit of gratitude, thanks Château Heartiste for teaching alpha and banishing beta. Game to win women is the testing ground for a hardened spirit that serves a man well in all walks of life.

The stories about the soldier and the teenage son are moving. And while we bring up realtalk about racial issues here, let me say that anyone from any country who learns the facts and wisdom expressed here is worthy of respect, and worthy of gratitude if he does his part in passing along the truth. We know from the occasional poll that CH has many thousands of readers, the latest poll having more than 5,000 votes so far – definitely not bad for a one-man operation! And the truth trickles from there, like the blood from the shiv twisting in the guts of the pretty lies that come here to perish.

On this heartily-heart occasion let me link to a short-story posted by CH back in 2013. I tried to find this story this week and asked people in two threads – I had a vague memory of the guy’s name being Dave or similar, and he was shooting pool with his alpha friend while trying to woo a girl who had been his “project” for a long time, only to lose her right away to the alpha Robert who knew how to use game. The name of the story is Dan and Nadine, and here it is:

    https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2013/07/12/dan-and-nadine/

This was the first I read of CH, someone posted a link to it elsewhere and said CH was brilliant but sometimes too negative, using this as an example. I think it’s life that is too negative. Specifically, Dan’s life. If this blog can teach just one guy to go from being Dan to being Robert, then CH deserves great praise. Game saves.

If feminists genuinely cared at ending goofs like Elliot Rodger, they would encourage every single guy like him in the world to read a book that has every post from this blog. This demystifies women to give logical men a framework to improve their confidence & abilities.

But this is not what Feminists want. They’re happy with Elliot Rodger, because it gave them an excuse to screech and complain, and furthers their coveted “Victim” status for benevolence & privilege. It was Elliot Rodger following Feminist advice that made him an omega shut-in and incel.

Really a sad group of angry harpies and dowdy wrinkled romantic rejects, and you could see why.

THIS BLOG on the other hand, promotes positivity, hope, optimism, betterment. Something anathema to leftism & feminism & PUAhate who follow Feminist advice.

These teachings and this blog will be required reading for all young boys & sons out there.

I will be wiling to pay almost any amount of money for a dead-tree book compilation of Game posts from this blog’s archives.

      Seconded.

I can’t remember how I first stumbled across the Chateau (I wish I could), but I do remember *when*. I was early in the first year of medical school. Life was… not good. My only-ever relationship – an LDR to a huge fat chick – was imploding. Somehow or other, searching for something, I stumbled on this site that was teaching… outrageous material.

I kept reading. Fascinated. Riveted. I devoured it over a period of several months. Finally, by the spring of the year, I was ready to put what I’d learned to some kind of test, through action.

      It worked.

Now I have the American dream: an attractive, easy-to-get-along-with wife who basically assents to whatever I want and complains very little; 3 beautiful children who I am raising to be thoroughly red-pill and alpha-aware, surely destined for happiness and success. Not only that, but I am happy at work because as we know, it’s often the people that make-or-break your job, and through the greased magic of Game my day-to-day workplace interactions go smoothly. I am generally popular and well-liked.

I have come so far that I am essentially not the same person that I was when I first encountered the Chateau. I have become who I was supposed to be.

And it’s all owed to our host, who, although not the only Game guru I have read, has always been my favourite. This is neither hyperbole nor sycophantism, merely deep, heartfelt gratitude.

I first found CH through a chatbox on a forum, two Balkan lads discussing if I was Alpha or Beta… I had no idea the context of those words at the time, 4 years ago. After the Balkan pair observed me shaming out the forum owner, and not get banned, they decided on Alpha…

You Balkan Fella’s still reading here?

So anyway I was chatting to them, they gave me a link, and I though “OMG there’s another fucker who thinks like me and more…”

Mate you could write books with a pseudonym and you have a fan base that will support you, if you really wanted too. It’s all up to you brother. I would.

So what ever you do as long as you find happiness, it’s all good.

I too have a son, who I can see will need advice when he’s older. Even my old man needs advice, and he use to be arsehole alpha of alpha, spins me out how much a woman can cut a man’s balls off. Thanks to you I’ve given that advice, and will be able too again.

Plus it gives me more courage to speak to men like me in real life, in the family or not about our issues.

    So Thank You.

The past 6 months of my life have been amazing. I have gone from a borderline suicidal anxiety-filled wreck to a confident, extremely relaxed young man. I never imagined I could wake up in the morning and feel happy, ready to crush whatever the day would throw at me. Basically what it boiled down to was the realization that I have the right to make my own decisions, and that I don’t have to put any weight in the words of others.

My father is a devout Jehovah’s Witness, quick to anger, and has been repeatedly accused of having a narcissistic personality disorder. Learning to ignore his madman’s ravings is the best thing I have ever done. And you better believe the mentality CH helped me acquire played a role in that. I realize this is primarily a game site, but it’s helped me a lot in many other ways. So thank you, man, seriously.

As my son, then a senior In high school, was taking his SAT’s and exams and generally preparing to leave for college, I started sending him links to CH posts, plus the 16 maxims and other gems. Poor guy needed it….even though he’s 6 foot, athletic, smart, funny and handsome, he had essentially zero experience with women. I thought maybe reading CH could help him avoid oneitis, orbiter behavior, friendzoning, and the other typical pitfalls and traps that befuddle rookies.
Of course, he never acknowledged receipt of these links from me, and I never asked.
The two or three weeks before he left for college, he began a texting relationship with a young lady who was also going to be an entering freshman.
After arriving at college, he began meeting up with her, going out with her to parties, etc.
Not too long after that, I visited him at school and during our visit I asked if he was still seeing his young lady friend.
He said that she had stopped responding to his texts and that he hadn’t seen her in a while.
I expressed my condolences and asked what his next move was.
He smirked, shrugged bemusedly, and said, “Next.”
Next! The magic word. The key to a mindset of abundance. The concept that ensures he will never be enslaved by the fleeting vicissitudes of the insane female brain.
Next. A concept that many (most?) men will never grasp, much less embrace.
My son is 19, and already lives the ethic of “next”.
Thank you, CH. Job well done.

Having been a daily reader for the past year now and only recently entering the fray of commentary, I am most grateful for the wisdom well provided here for the masses who stumble upon it.

I was initially angered, appalled and fascinated by the “rude word”, but over time my past and present experiences began to neatly make sense in the context of the fundamental premise, SMV differentials, masculine/feminine polarity, abundance mentality, etc. This “game” material/system elegantly oscillates between an intuitive art form and a real, semi-quantized applied social science…quite beautiful in action.

Raised by hyper-liberal, educated SWPL parents (whom I love dearly but taught me nothing about the painful reality of the sex and dating market), I had a lot of unlearning to do. It’s been an arduous but worthwhile endeavor to refine my outlook as a 26 y/o with many years of potential mistakes and triumphs ahead. That process started right here.

CH, my gratitude is deep and sincere. I’ve enjoyed both belly laughs and moments of lucid clarity while perusing these posts.

To guile, to charm, and to uncompromising standards for ourselves and our world.

    Cheers.

Although our older brethren express disdain and ideas that their life would’ve been better for having found CH prior to their relationship mistakes…Well, then they wouldn’t be the man they are today: stronger, wiser, more experienced, and full of anecdotes to lay upon on the younger and unsuspecting generation.

I believe that most of us found CH by searching terms such as “how to get a girlfriend”, “How to get over a failed relationship”, “my girlfriend just cheated on me”, or “why do men always get screwed over by marriage”.

I, for one, began pondering the inequality of the sexes and how such a poor investment marriage would certainly turn out to be. Upon expressing such beliefs to friends and family, I was met with various comments explaining how I was unhappy, jaded, and blatantly wrong in my thinking.

When stumbling upon CH, I would read a single post– then move on to the next– and the next–and the next!

The only thing I can equate taking the red pill (CH’s writings) to is the scene in Good Will Hunting where the late Robin Williams would repeat, “It’s not your fault”…over and over again.

Each page of CH tell us, “It’s okay…it’s not your fault.”.

In a sane and decent place, gratitude should follow generosity. By my reckoning, CH has been the most generous and gracious dispenser of gold-plated-ultra-valuable-truth, for free, for all time, since the ministry of St. Francis of Assisi, if not Vlad the Impaler.
    Great Respect.
On the other hand, for my own young self, it was Julie S. – a 17 year old, feral blond hottie – whose only real money earning career consisted of posing for a lot of the pictures that ended up on the special sort of calenders that got stuck on the back walls of car-repair shops nationwide – back in the day – that taught me the truth of female sexuality.
She was probably brain-dead from the start; but I got to see it all up close. Very close. So, a thanks to Julie.

“What this world needs is a little bit of gratitude. And that’s the reason for this post. A simple thank you to you, the readers, for visiting the Chateau and, more importantly, for taking the lessons to heart.”

i took these lessons to heart completely…(largely bc they all were proven true on the field of battle…) and you KNOW i’m grateful…lol…

thanks for having this blessed resource available when i needed it…it literally saved me from a truly messy divorce…it was close, but i pulled it around, and i could not have done it without this blog and for its existence i’m truly grateful…

it is not hyperbole to state that it has literally changed my life… for the better in every way…

i still see my kids every day…i still have all my stuff…my wife is deferent and supports my decisions (even when they are ‘wrong’…lol)…and i went from 3-6 times per YEAR sex (typical beta ‘nice guy’…) to 5 times a week (usually…lol…but really just whenever i want it…)…the wife initiates most nights…lol…so i’m usually in the position of turning her down…she wants to keep me well-drained as a competitive advantage tactic…lol…

just a status update for those on the fence about whether or not going full red pill can turn around/save your marriage…or is worth it…

last week, i happened to see the wife’s computer screen…it was on Pinterest and it had a pic of a really hot babe pinned. i asked what that was about bc it was kind of out of place…

me: what is that? you looking to set me up?…
    her: what? no…
me: [whisper in her ear (bc the kids were in the room)] a threesome, then?…
her: no…nobody hotter than me (laughing)
me: nah, i probably couldn’t get somebody like that anyway…
her: [stopped in her tracks thinking] you know…you could get her, if you wanted… (and she said that 2-3 times again over the rest of the evening, bringing it up specifically out of the blue…)

and the kicker?…she was right…and we both knew it…lol…

    …and the girl?…a 25 yo jessica alba in a bikini…

game truly HAS changed my life…

That sounds a lot like a friend of mine. He imparted some of CH’s wisdoms and his own practical experiences with it to me when he was visiting Germany. Seeing someone almost as short as me (which is rare enough) boast such self-confidence (despite PTSD and depression on top) was rather emboldening. I have always been grateful to have a dad who clearly gave zero fux to the undeserving. Drove a Jag XK120 to college in the late 40’s, was a race car driver throughout the south in the 50’s. Left Playboy mags lying around for us to “find” in the 60s and 70s. Gave me my first James Bond book when I was 12.

When I first read CH almost all the info given was stuff I’d instinctually done since I first shiv’d a lucky lady at age 13. And I was grateful there were others out there like me who saw the world for what it was, women for who they are, and what the fuck a Man should be, do, and say.

I suggest reading, a good man, Scott Aaronson’s comment 171 describing how he thinks calling male science types ‘privileged’ is misguided because many of those men feel quite the opposite. He describes his fear of women finding out he is attracted to them, and promptly gets attacked by feminists for being mysoginist for suggesting men in science are not privileged.

First off Great Blog CH! Love the content and the attitude! Keep it up…

I read Scott…post er… grovel? And it’s thanks to forums like this one, Dalrocks, and Rollo’s that allows me to giggle.

It’s sad really. I mean we have a good smart guy like Scott. And via the FI / MSM / Feminist emasculation you see him tied in logical knots trying to placate female commenters.

The answer always is _don’t_ pay attention to what women _say_. Pay attention to what they _do_. But this kind of thread really underscores the first part… _don’t pay attention to what women say_ EVER.

Over half of feminist posters on the web are lesbians. The other half are fugly… Why bother listening to them? There are women out there who will gladly talk about how they can make your more happy having them around.

Why talk to shrews who’s best days were debating metro-sexual dudes into full gayness?

Yes, what I think is interesting is how A) he mentions that Neanderthals violated feminism yet feminists approved and the Neanderthals got the girls while guys like him were attacked ie a crude way of expressing red pill ideology and B) he says he doesn’t fully support feminism because of his experience. Big things start in small places I suppose. But because of his role, anything red pill would be strictly dealt with as heretical so can’t completely fault him for still siding with feminists.

Oh, and I dont see why one should have any more sympathy for this guy than for your average sane, pretty, white girl who is lured inro feminizm and has nothing to gain from it. Being good at figuring out the physical world or manipulating computers doesn’t mean you’ll be good at figuring out people or manipulating women. Almost the opposite, in fact–they’re different kinds of brains.

I think people have a little more sympathy for him because everyone admits humanity needs stuff like quantum computing.

Admittedly, though, Newton didn’t reproduce, and this guy at least got married and might still produce some smart kids, so maybe this ideology is less bad eugenically.

I sort of changed my mind about him actually. First point is that his field of research is probably useless. It is highly theoretical and makes for great press, quantum computing, but it is useless right now and takes away from much less glamorous research that is actually helping people right now. Second point, he embodies the typical nerd persona which to me is just a bad habit not an actual personality or phenotype. His dress is appalling, his behaviour is ridiculous, and he seems to delight in not appearing nicely which is just a recent modern agenda. Third point, he is a part of what I think is a big issue americans caused in science, a member of the cult of personality in science. It revolves around hero worship, praising eccentricities, and trying to become a “great” press-worthy character in the likeness of einstein or feynman or whoever. To me, it is a bit grotesque and in a sick way shows what you might call bravado or chutzpah in his case to emphasise so much his own importance and difference from “normal” people in order to distinguish himself. Would like to see more gentlemen filling his role.

I struggled with complaining for some time, and would try unsuccessfully to stop. My upbringing, parents, bad luck, etc. Being more thankful for what I have automatically reduced my negative thoughts, and I notice that everyone is more drawn to me, especially girls.

    I need to say this.
I am 52 years old and have suffered through a life of entitled, manipulative and remorseless women. My personal experience and obervation points unambiguously to an inverse relationship to character and hotness.

I am sorry to admit, it took me a decade to catch on. The beauty of you guys is you may be saving the next generation from the learning curve I experienced. Having been forcefed this complete bullshit about feminine equality since birth, finally I found your website.

I don’t see what’s too wrong with it. Is it that they’re setting up a ‘we don’t need no man’ attitude too early? They are kids after all, and at least they’re not sexualising her. She got her original fame on the DeGeneres show, rapping with her sister, and the N. Minaj, so it was only a matter of time that there’d be a video. Is it Brit pop or a case of too much Rit popped?

Whats wrong with it? This is a small girl, a child, at that age they should be playing with dolls and playing mamas and papas.

Haunted trilobite, You say she is not being sexualised. I dont agree. She is with a dress above the knee and a face full of makeup. God bless her and protect her.
She is a beautiful little girl, and should remain one for some time yet. Let children be children. Just listen to the lyrics, “if the world is against us, we don’t want boys etc.” , it is not appropiate for a small girl.

On the subject of gratitude and women, I’ll confess to my youthful (early 90s) enjoyment of Meat Loaf songs. Still like to play a tune every now and then. “For Crying out Loud” is a case of song lyrics I understood one way as a 23-year-old when the album came out, and in another way as a mid-forties man now. Then, I liked the blue pill lines from the coda that follows. Now, I understand the value of the one line I bolded below:

For taking in the rain when I’m feeling so dry
For giving me the answers when I’m asking you why
    And my oh my
    For that I thank you

For taking in the sun when I’m feeling so cold
For giving me a child when my body is old
    And don’t you know
    For that I need you

For coming to my room when you know I’m alone
For finding me a highway and driving me home
    And you gotta know
    For that I serve you

For pulling me away when I’m starting to fall
For revving me up when I’m starting to stall
    And all in all
    For that I want you

For taking and for giving and for playing the game
For praying for my future in the days that remain
    Oh Lord
    For that I hold you

One line in that song, I think it speaks to all ages:

“And can’t you see my faded Levis bursting apart..”

    My trajectory with ideological reading:

Childhood/1970s: living in eastern Europe and aware that there is a country called USA. They are the good guys. The country next door, USSR, are the bad guys. I was told about Katyn and the true nature of the Soviet enemy, and like every kid, had to be careful to not repeat what I hear at home outside the home. I understood America as Christian, cool and masculine, as opposed to the effeminate, godless Soviet Union. Even things like the Soyuz-Apollo, which was a big thing in the news at the time: the American craft was sleek, angular and masculine, the Russian craft was bubbly and, again, effeminate.

Teenage years/1980s: arrived in the US early hat decade and I picked up on domestic politics quickly and understood that Republicans fought for God, freedom and family, Democrats pushed an alien-like socialism. Cheered Reagan whomping Mondale, and later GHW Bush beating Dukakis.

Twenties/1990s: I felt like something is going very wrong but didn’t see anyone articulating any alternatives to it. Anita Hill, Dances with Wolves, Tailhook, The Citadel. I was aware of Pat Buchanan, Rush Limbaugh and the Washington Times, but it seemed that they are hollering in the face of an unstoppable juggernaut. Waco and Ruby Ridge happen. What can you do? or, “so it goes,” per Kurt Vonnegut.

In mid-decade, I read Camille Paglia’s “Sexual Personae” and the anti-liberal message connects with me.

Late in the decade, my late twenties, I go to the library to read the conservative newspaper Washington Times (I was living in Boston at the time, therefore the library) and while I enjoyed the editorial page, they seemed angry and, again, helpless before the juggernaut.

Thirties/2000s: this is when I start using the internet and discover and become part of the alt-Right. Surfing the net, I discover all manner of right wing sites (including hardcore stuff), among them AmRen. I start reading National Review online daily, and there I discover John Derbyshire, whose writing instantly connects with all the ‘stuff’ I had in the back of my mind, which included doubts about mainstream conservatism.

The really important thing about Derb’s writing at NRO was that upon reading his understated, witty, and unmistakably intelligent and knowledgeable writing, for the first time I no longer felt like I was immoral, alone, or even mentally ill on account of my deeper, illiberal thoughts regarding, inter alia, race and the national question.

Through Derb, I discover Steve Sailer. Through Sailer, circa 2004, I discover Two Blowhards and Lawrence Auster. Through 2BH, I discover this site, in its very early days. The rest is history.

I have been reading Derb for over a decade. Last year he posted a link to CH about poll results relevant to one of his articles. I had never visited a ‘Game’ or ‘PUA’ website in my life – – as naive as I was, I had never even heard of such things! But I’ve been hooked ever since, to my great enrichment.

Related to this subject, I remember hearing a story, don’t know if it’s apocryphal or not, that one time a Soviet pilot defected with one of their state-of-the-art fighter jets, and our guys were amazed at the “backward technology” in re the electronics, in which rather than integrated circuits, they seemed to be using small-scale vacuum tubes.

And then someone on this side of the poind realized that, unlike ICs, vacuum tubes were not as susceptible to electro-magnetic pulse damage from nuclear explosions.

My trajectory with Game understanding: I didn’t do badly with in my teens, but coasted on looks and tended to pedestalize pretty girls from upper class homes, and appease the hot bitchy girls from, again, upper class homes. Allright-looking girls lower class backgrounds were where I unleashed the ‘abusive’ asshole and learned about sex.

I’ve reach Nietzsche as a teenager and in a way understood certain red pill truths about women. But all this seemed like abstractions. Blue pill habits die hard. Mixed with healthy instinct, they even don’t get too much in the way of getting laid, until you go all beta in nascent LTR. Nonetheless, I had a couple of girls in my early twenties who with no doubt, still remember me, wherever they are, and an LTR my late 20s with a good (though flawed) girl I treated badly.

As I noted here earlier, I hit my romantic low point in my early thirties. I took a breakup very hard. And a friend’s friend directed me to Doc Love at “Ask men”. I was up all night going through the archives. The simple message of “three C’s” was persuasive: be a Challenge, be Confident, be self-Controlled. His writing conflicted with some of my blue pill convictions. While reading the archives, I even pushed back on the red pill message. Until coming across a simple line he wrote to a similarly stubborn reader: do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?” That’s what it took. I accepted that I don’t know shit, and that I’ve sabotaged myself in the past.

Dated a series of young girls at that point, met the one that I really liked and unexpectedly clicked with and… the rest is history.

Hey, CH. It looks like most of the visitors to your site are in the 20-45 age range. But you reach us older guys, too (late 50s).

I spent my entire adult life as an Olympic-class white-knight-beta. Because of that I spent over 20 years in a dreary, sexless, loveless, duty-bound marriage.

A couple of years ago I came to your site (and a couple other like-minded sites) and it was like the scales fell from my eyes.

I’m now working on ways to introduce my son to it (mid 20s). Unfortunately – due to his going through the feminized school system / college system, and due to the fact that during his formative years, his father (i.e. me) totally embraced the FI, it will take some doing. He simply does not yet believe the things I am trying to diplomatically share with him. Any suggestions you or the others might have would be greatly appreciated.

In any case, thanks for providing an invaluable service to men of all ages. I don’t think it is too much of an overstatement to say that your site and a couple of others might, literally, have saved my life. (And I’ll never forgive you for it … Har!)

      cognitive dissonance ftw!…lol…

he’ll need to come to it the same way we all did…the difference between what girls say and what they actually do…

just ask him about some of the girls that he likes/would like to be dating/hooking up with…

ask him what she SAYS she wants…(usually it’s some form of ‘nice guy’…like him…) and ask him what she DOES (usually it’s to date/hookup with someone else…not like him…)…and ask him to explain it…he won’t be able to. which leads to his frustration/confusion…

then, offer to explain it to him…and once you have, and he starts to accept it…send him here and Rational Male…

and let him know he is NOT alone…

    @Having a Bad Day/HABD

Not sure if you’re reading these comments – will repost in a few days if you’re not.

One in an occasional series of updates about working on redpilling my marriage.

Not a question, just a story about how I’m having to rethink *everything* that comes out of my mouth. It’s an ongoing discipline.

Work party. My wife came. Afterwards she mentioned casually that one of the interns (23 years old) had a real thing for me (I don’t remember who brought up the girl – it may have been her, or me in a different context).

She’s right – that intern does have a thing for me (HB6 so I’m not interested plus I wouldn’t at work anyway). I’m not sure how my wife figured it out from her very limited interaction (I think the intern was making polite conversation with her for a couple minutes saying she worked with me but wife and I were circulating separately). There were also a couple of HB8s there who weren’t quite as interested as the intern but were quite flirty around me – not sure if my wife noticed.

Anyway, my reaction was “Really? I hadn’t noticed” [BLATANT lie and coming from instinctive blue pill reflexes].

Then I caught myself and did a partial recovery and said something like “But you know, all women are into me so it’s not a surprise” [with a smirk]

Wife just gave a look and changed subject.

It’s like I just need to reach deep into my character and re-wire every reflex blue pill action into something new – I should have just replied to her first comment by smirking and saying “All women love me” or similar..

      @themarquis

good recovery…lol…props on putting in the work…

as you have probably figured out, it gets easier to see this stuff the more you practice it.

it goes from blue pill cluelessness (and resultant frustration) –>red pill 20/20 hindsight –> seeing this stuff in real time –> making accurate predictions in situ and calibrating to that (= unconscious competence)… and it’s just a process. the more you play/practice/train, the better you get…lol…funny how that works, eh?…

also, it’s not surprising that your wife picked up on the intern’s attraction. girls communicate on various sub-channels that are usually invisible to men…lol…preselection comes from somewhere…and just the intern’s vocal inflections when talking about you is like a mega phone on the subcomms…lol…

      good luck!

We should talk about our favorite CH posts. This is one of mine.

    https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2013/08/14/mainstream-feminist-outlets-try-to-bury-their-association-with-hugo-schwyzer/

“Hugo Schwyzer, buffoon. Hugo Schwyzer, hypocrite. Hugo Schwyzer, self-proclaimed male feminist leader. Hugo Schwyzer, lover of porn stars, seducer of younger coeds, defiler of the matrimonial vow, potential giver of the herpes simplex Types 1 and 2, self-pegging fap-exposing murder-suicide contemplating part-time homosexing beacon of hope to dumbass feminists and their suck-up allies.

Now we can add one more honorific to Schwyzer’s curriculum vitae: Disgraced, womanly pity whore.

And who, besides Schwyzer himself, helped bring Schwyzer to the depths of the most public of public humiliations? Who was the first to mock his phoniness, ridicule his idiotic male feminist musings, turn him over on the spit for the world to poke with pointed sticks, implicate his supporters and advocates for hitching their fortunes to his ass-kissing self-aggrandizing lies?

    Who, indeed.”

“He is utterly repellent, a lizard in human clothing. I hope that he slices lengthwise, and should he do so, I will dance a happy snoopy dance the likes of which the dark side of the internet has never seen.”

“Such a niche is not without its merits, but do keep in mind that being a community college professor to dimwits, however lowly in the academia hierarchy, is the lube that greases the coed skids. Playing the male feminist for fun and profit is not likely to work for the man who doesn’t have that hypergamously-grooved prof podium from which to tingle the tangles of thick-bushed queer gender studies acolytes. I don’t fault Hugo for pursuing this snatch-accumulating strategy. But I do shit in his lying face, and I do shit again in the faces of those who took his lies for truth.”

“Jizzebel et al., you are served notice. I have you and your lackeys in my sights, and your filth that spews from the fountain of filth which is your whole stillborn existence is the effluvium I will shove back down your throats until you choke on it and recede from public discourse to clear the shit from your veins. The days when you can hire gutter liars like Hugo Schwyzer, and wallow in his fetid stink free of consequence, are over. Your only hope is to drive the Schwyzerian rats from your manicured harridan shelters, so that your circle diddles may continue under the radar of stone cold soul shivvers like yours truly with an eye and a scalpel for finding and dissecting egoistic neediness.”

“Hugo, I know you’re reading this. If my words will bring any goodness and light to this world, your days as a lying sack of shit media token shilling for other lying sacks of shit are over. No one will call you, not even your former feminist allies. No one will publish you. No one will admire cross-eyed your throbbing intellect. No one will talk of you. No one will even think of you. When that day comes, and the barrel of the pistol is nestled in your mouth, lazing metallically on your tongue as your thinning, middle-aged lips glide over the shaft like long-ago unshaven feminist coed lovers used to do to your anti-feminist, patriarchal boner, no one, not even your family, will give a shit.

And that will be the lonely solitary pain from which you can’t escape or repurpose to your craven desires. In that moment, that sweet final moment of true and real reflection just before self-deliverance, you will think of my words, and my reminder that you had a choice to turn yourself against the mountain of lies you willingly embraced as your totem and your fate and your salvation. Sweet dreams, eternal darkness.”

    Intense.

    No, Thank you CH.

You are doing important work and I, for one, am better because of it.

Would you consider putting together a selection of your best and putting it into an (e)book form? You really should. Your wit and insight should not be lost to later generations.

    Seriously.

Thank you. The advice from you and the other contributors to this site changed my attitudes about myself and women. My awakening lifted such emotional weight and worry from my mind and made me a happier person.

@Heartiste, you’ve created milliions of Game Neos who can see the truth behind the dating matrix. Know that I will be teaching my son everything about this site when the time comes. Your knowledge will live through the better life he will have.

P.S. I’ve considered donating through paypal, but I’m reluctant that somehow the fem-libs would somehow find out. Had an old job where it was liberal dominated and they found out I was conservative and made my life hell at work. Need to look into the privacy thing a bit more before I pull the trigger.

Thank you, CH. You brought me out of the darkest two years of my life. Without this site I’d be in the gutter right now. Your wisdom and realtalk allowed me to see that I wasn’t the only one who looked at the world and concluded to myself, “Absurdities!”
I’ve often wondered how different my life might have been if I’d had access to CH when I was a young man (there was no such thing as the internet until I was already well into my 30’s). But, better late in life than never.
    At Your Service,
    Fred Rotten

My own early up thread ‘gratitude’ note to the Château was eaten by the WP software so I’d be remiss if I didn’t follow up. So I’m co-signing with others how beneficial CH posts have been for me, from self-improvement to success in areas of life that mean the most to me. Thanks, CH.

I’ve been posting here under various monikers since 2008. It is an island of sanity in an insane world. I wish this forum had been around 30 years ago. Thank you for all that you have done. I do not exaggerate when I say you are a modern day Thomas Paine. Hats off.
