There aren’t that many viable hearts to go around (and the ones that are available for transplant are disproportionately from white donators, pathologically altruistic beyond the end), so hospitals have to make tough choices who gets a new heart. Enough is enough. I made an error and corrected it. You make errors, even CH makes errors. The point is that the blood transfusion techniques that were pioneered by Charles Drew helped to save the lives of millions of people, people of all colors. He was African-American, but at the time he wouldn’t have been able to even use the blood of white donors.
The point I was trying to make was that we are all human, we’re not that different. No human being is superior to another. We’re all equal and WHEN GIVEN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, we can all make the world a better place.
But you seem to struggle with bias and intolerance so much that you will not even acknowledge the contributions made by POC, most notably African-Americans. That is not right.
It is great if you’re proud of who you are, there are some things that have come out of Europe that you can be proud of, but Europeans aren’t the only people to contribute to the world, many other people did and you can find books all about the accomplishments and inventions that started outside of Europe.
With that being said, you are entitled to your opinion. You’re not obligated to like Black people, you don’t have to hang out with Black people or go to the movies or play bingo or eat dinner with Black people or date Black people, but whether you like someone or not, you should still show respect as a human being.
I don’t know what caused you to be so upset all of the time, but I can feel your pain and I am sorry for whatever you’re going through. It must be extremely stressful to live in that pain daily.
