The nation has taken a wholesale turn away from beauty and toward ugliness. We embrace the ugly, castigate those “beauty bitter clingers”, and rejoice at the death of judgement. All the while our spirits and our bodies turn into formless pulp, manifesting our new beliefs, and we become ripe for defeat by more vital outsiders.
A little bit of hardship is good for a civilization’s, as well as a person’s, soul. Hardship will likely return to us, but when that time comes the difference then will be that we won’t be prepared to meet it head on.
It is indeed depressing. Note though that despite enormous, daily propaganda from Hollywood’s masters, the percentage changes in attitude are not all-consuming. And in the same time period immigration has increased, giving the Left new voters to boost those numbers. Real Americans, no doubt, have changed less than those numbers show. That will matter some day.

Things have taken a turn for the worse, but there are still a lot of good people left. And note that the creature in the picture is not an American woman but Lena Dunham, a member of the Tribe. If you live in a major metro area, the Diversity Dissonance is strong, and if you are older, you remember it not having always been so. Montgomery County, MD for example, now consists of White upper-middle class, brown middle class, and black/Hispanic lower class. The thing I see happening is, at least in Newfoundland, they lure all the smart, attractive girls away from the rural bay areas and into the university, where the Juif professors turn them from sweet little lasses into rotten sluts, and the only ones left out in the bay areas are ugly dullards. The men who are of decent character tend not to come out in to the city for obvious reasons and settle down with the low class girls, while the low class men either come to the city and sell drugs or go work a trade on the mainland. The problem with surveys of american attitudes about things is this has long (always?) been a country where people say one thing and do another. So many people just lie they are of probably no value. I don’t agree that Lena Dunham is being cherry-picked unfairly to make a point, as some kind of outlier. Among young hipster types her show is hugely popular and she is very famous. She’s right at the center of contemporary American culture, along with the Kardashians and whatever else, and hence is emblematic of what mainstream America has become. I am fascinated by the poll. I wish it was more encompassing. Every virtue is denigrated and every vice elevated. The last two are most interesting. Death worship is more accepted but the two questions that pertain to saving lives, the virtue of justice and the supremacy of humanity above the animal, are more rejected. I would love to see more comparison of other traditional virtues, such as beauty. I agree if you mean an imposter to art. I would expect his work to be elevated in polling while the works promoted by say, the arts renewal center, to be denigrated. As to the spacial-visual acuity of jews, I can’t say, never read one way or another. I do have a theory more tied to the classical virtues though. If you reject Truth (as in logic), as SJW are obligated to do, you must also reject Beauty, as all art forms have done since relativism has become the philosophy de jure. It is very possible that causation flow the other direction. Looking in a mirror the Dunham Horror sees the its ugliness and rejects the truth.

Abortions increasing and attitudes about it relaxing I would argue are a good thing. Legalized abortion in the ’70s could explain a substantial part of the crime decline in the 1990s.
Consider the following:
– 5 states legalized abortion three years before Roe v. Wade. Crime started falling three years earlier in these states, with property crime (committed by younger people) falling before violent crime.
– After abortion was legalized, the availability of abortions differed dramatically across states. In some states like North Dakota and in parts of the deep South, it was virtually impossible to get an abortion even after Roe v. Wade. If one compares states that had high abortion rates in the mid ’70s to states that had low abortion rates in the mid ’70s, you see the following patterns with crime. For the period from 1973-1988, the two sets of states (high abortion states and low abortion states) have nearly identical crime patterns. Note, that this is a period before the generations exposed to legalized abortion are old enough to do much crime. But from the period 1985-1997, when the post Roe cohort is reaching peak crime ages, the high abortion states see a decline in crime of 30% relative to the low abortion states.
– All of the decline in crime from ’85-’97 experienced by high abortion states relative to low abortion states is concentrated among the age groups born after Roe v. Wade. For people born before abortion legalization, there is no difference in the crime patterns for high abortion and low abortion states.
– When we compare arrest rates of people born in the same state, just before and just after abortion legalization, we once again see the identical pattern of lower arrest rates for those born after legalization than before.
– The evidence from Canada, Australia, and Romania also support the hypothesis that abortion reduces crime.
– Studies have shown a reduction in infanticide, teen age drug use, and teen age childbearing consistent with the theory that abortion will reduce other social ills similar to crime.
Conservatives always talk about how undesirable welfare recipients and minorities are and how crime-prone they tend to be due to growing up in conditions that favor desperate risk-taking and a blatant disregard for long-term goals. If these people aren’t being born, then isn’t that a GOOD thing?

And I am perfectly capable of recalling quite accurately to the most minute detail events like the night Reagan was elected, the look and feel of a nightclub, what is was like the first weekend that my cable company turned on HBO, the memory of watching CNN all night for the first time when John Lennon was shot outside of the Dakota.
So I began read The Clansman on Project Gutenberg. And knowing what we now know about SJWs and intent and tactics of the left, the behavior of the Radicals and the belligerence of them lead to the war, lead to the heinous prosecution of it in burning down the south, and then the onerous treatment that followed during reconstruction in the radical oppression of reconstruction can now be viewed by us in entirely different light. It is quite easy for us to now put ourselves into the shoes of the everyday southerner, people who had no slaves, yet suffered the continual imposition of the what were the left and SJWs of the time.

Yes, I would guess that’s the assumption people made when they responded to the poll. Still doesn’t really make sense though. If suicide is morally wrong, then it is morally wrong. Suicide in general would seem to be the broader category, which would encompass doctor-assisted suicide, so it seems illogical that this number would be smaller.

Not necessarily. If you say ‘suicide’, most people will probably just call it depression. If you say doctor-assisted (due to painful/terminal disease), people will tend to be more charitable. I think the moral issue is fuzzier if you have, say, 6 weeks to live, and are in terrible pain 7×24, for example.

Mine are strong, valid points about population change. My “glee” about white extinction (i.e the extinction of my own lineage) exists only inside PA’s neurotic universe.
