Christian Mormons are heavily involved in missionary work. The state of Utah, which has the highest concentration of Mormons of any state, consistently votes Republican in presidential elections by over 70%. By comparison 57.17% of Texans, who are generally perceived as conservative, voted Republican in the 2012 presidential election.
Christianity is a conservative religion, as is the case with religion in general. It’s true that liberal Christians like Dolezal’s parents exist, but they are very much the exception.

A more careful analysis would reveal better correlation with skin color. Especially if you look at county-level voting maps of Texas. But whadda I know, my people have only lived in Texas since all the crackers moved there from Florida after the war between the states.

Part of her is impossible to understand, the race baiting. Black people and her parents don’t care about that.
Part of what she did is easy to understand — and this is the part that bothers her parents and all the black commenters. She believed that she was racially discriminated against at Howard University, the black school which she apparently attended as an “out” white person. Since she wanted a career in the race industry, or it was all she could expect to get, she realized she had better be black. Otherwise she would never get anywhere because of discrimination.
So she passed for black and did pretty well at it. Too bad her OWN MOTHER outed her.

Her entire identity became “black victim”. She even claimed her adopted (black) brother was her son, to perfect the image of a persecuted black mother. She’s a teacup short of a picnic. If this be permitted, then white people will be able to take advantage of affirmative action and other set asides. Black people will not have this. If transracialism is valid, then the Leftist coalition collapses.
But if transracialism is denied, then transgenderism must follow, for they proceed from the same principles. Now things get interesting.
Transgenderism is the logical outgrowth of the acceptance of homosexuality. The acceptance of homosexuality is the logical outgrowth of the sexual revolution of the 1960s. The sexual revolution of the 1960s is the logical outcome of egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is a core, non-negotiable tenet of the Enlightenment.
The logic proceeds like a rip in nylon running up a woman’s (and Bruce Jenner’s) pantyhose. If the antecedent necessarily implies the consequent and the consequent is false, then the antecedent must be false. Logic has no pity. Therefore, the Enlightenment flies or falls on this issue.

A friend of mine is a famous professor in a sort of obscure field called musicology. He undoubtedly knows a lot about forms of music across a huge number of cultures. However, he believes that indigenous i.e. primitive tribal music is equal to European traditions of worship, dance, and concert hall music. He also believes that newer anti-colonial music that sprang up in rebellion towards European music in Africa and the Caribbean is wonderful. I would have to look up examples of this but one name to look up is Fela Kuti I think his name was, and another more famous example is Wyclef Jean. So this is all useless you might think but actually I think it is relevant to west for the following reason.

the left despises their own and has this weird belief that there is great value in minority things. I think they want that to be the truth at least and go to great lengths to try to prove it. I suspect that rachel woman feels the same way. that somehow, black culture has some sort of superiority for some reason. It’s very annoying because if you actually listen to indigenous music it is awful.

Compare the white energy the Beatles brought to a note-by-note rendition of the Isley’s greasy version of Twist & Shout… compare Pete Townshend’s version of Eyesight To The Blind to Sonny Boy Williamson’s original tripe… compare the likes of Led Zeppelin to the entire panoply of their alleged “influencers”…
Then compare all of the aboves’ original compositions and find me any resemblance of “black sound”.
Now take a hearing of the Temptations laughably attempting Hey Jude or Aretha Franklin butchering I Say A Little Prayer and Alfie.
Whites can often do “black” music better than negroes… when negroes attempt white music, well… lzzozlzozlzozlzolzolzozlozl… barring, of course, the likes of darker-skinned entertainers who would be deemed Uncle Tomish by dey communitay., e.g., The Fifth Dimension, Dionne Warwick, Sammy Davis, Jr., etc.

Rachel Dolezal did nothing wrong in my eyes. She did what she had to do to get preferential treatment in employment. If I could pass myself off as Black, Hispanic, or Native American, I would do it too.
