What I really liked about this “Ameriqua, Then and Now” contrast was how it seems in the 1950s photo the handsome family is a metaphor for their nation, happy and full of promise for the future as they walk confidently toward the viewer.
In the second photo, the couple walks away from the viewer, a metaphor for an America receding, turning her back on her people, full of fatty desperation and, well, Africa.

I was poolside yesterday. Community pool late afternoon, which is best described as a family-friendly environment. Kids splashing around, a birthday party under a canopy. The two lifeguards weren’t even Eastern European work-study students; they were good looking American college guys.

That photo reminds me of my family when we went to the beach in the mid to late 70s. My father carried an umbrella and a cooler like the one pictured. Brothers, I finally learned one of CH’s points: that we did not make this world, and we must enjoy the life we were given. “Poolside”. All of the “before and after” photos are depressing. But we need to ask: What was it in the society of the 1940s and 1950s that led to the situation that we see today? The “Greatest Generation” was in charge from the 1960s until the mid-1980s. Unless you believe that these people were simply duped, what were they thinking (and why) that led them to take the steps that leaves us in our present-day situation? i suppose Chinese historians will be arguing over what madness seized the West in the aftermath of World War II for the next 300 years.

Fair point. Somehow the Silent generation (the generals and leaders of WWII) and the WWII generation (the soldiers of WWII) raised a generation (Baby Boomers) that ultimately got this decline moving much more quickly.
It is an interesting question. Two initial thoughts are:
(1) the leaders of the 1940s/1950s were so freaked out about Communism that they started kow-towing to the dindus in an (ultimately counter-productive) effort to maintain social stability (what a complete failure that was); and
(2) the Land of Eskimos came into existence starting around that point, which gave them enough of a secure base to start slowly but surely going on the offensive in terms of their slow-boil mass-media propaganda in America and infiltration of the U.S. government.
Yes, the Baby Boomers ultimately are the generation most responsible for the decline, but they weren’t dropped here from outer space; what they became is a product of both external influences and internal influences (e.g. how they were raised).

Back then, even the upper classes had plenty to do, and couldn’t just sit around in air conditioning, being placidly entertained by the tube or silver screen.
After the business of taking care of survival and running the households was done, they’d make their own entertainment, music, and such. Church and community and very stringent feedback loops on decorum.

My thoughts on this have been filtered down to this, after years of contemplation, off and on –
I cannot see anything genetic, environmental, etc. so drastic in nature to utterly corrupt the Baby Boomer generation. Yes, drugs and TV can explain some of it, but that has been going on a long time, and many of us (me, for example) were bombarded with all the lies, peer pressure, etc., but did not succumb. So, why did so many of the previous generation succumb (and still succumb) to the Leftist dogma?
Now, NOT being a religious person, I have concluded that the Allied nations of WWII literally sold their souls to the devil (or whatever name you, or your religion, have for evil dark forces), in the form of the Eskimos as evil’s agent, when they (the so-called Christian Gentiles) conspired, many purposefully and knowingly, but many more millions in complete ignorance, to fight and destroy Germany, the one nation that was trying to build an Eskimo-free, pervert-free, Satan-worshiping-free place for whites – to not only live, but thrive and greatly advance as never seen before. And so, with the Baby Boomer generation, the devil took payment – their souls (which in turn guides their minds). Really, nothing else, not even the drugs and propaganda, can explain the wholesale insanity and destruction of the culture and the people. I estimate that only 20% of whites have escaped this curse, and can see it all unfolding, only to ask repeatedly, with a utterly dumbfounded expression (something I do a lot these days), “Why are my fellow whites doing this?”.

I remember it all from Kennedy onward. Kennedy was OK although he started the idea of affirmative action in some form, probably a very limited one. We were told we couldn’t say the Lord’s Prayer in school, then shortly after that Kennedy was assassinated (my teacher cried) and LBJ came in unelected with, out of the blue, the nonsensical “Great Society”. The name made no sense at the time. What is great about a society that gives so much welfare to people who show no sign of ever being able to advance? And why were we fighting in Vietnam anyway? I saw the death tolls on TV every night but nobody ever said why we were there. Later I learned the whole Gulf of Tonkin thing was made up under LBJ’s watch.
And then it was sort of weird. Jimmy Carter with his crazy brother, then he got October Surprised by Reagan, but in office Reagan was pretty good briefly, but he stopped doing anything good after he nearly died from a poison dart, then GHWB with his weird “new world order” and other distracted sounding ramblings, Clinton rearranged a lot of stuff while he was entertaining us with Monica and his friends were turning up dead every month or so, then things really got wacky with GWB and his phony “war on terrorism” and the amazing and totally unqualified Obama.
Boomers generally went for the cheap and cheesy. It worked out pretty well for them / us, but it could have worked longer and better if we had been more circumspect. And if our governments hadn’t been making obviously stupid decisions that we were helpless to affect.
The whole thing has seemed sort of artificial, rather than organic. And when an election couldn’t be won it was fixed. I just wonder why they’ve been so gradual about it. If they can fix stuff why do the stuff faster? Anyway life has been a dance to stay ahead of the curve, in as many ways as possible.
I don’t remember Eisenhower or earlier, but somehow I think things made more sense before LBJ.

I believe myself to be a pretty tough guy, but this story, which points out a lot of what you fellows talk about, almost brought me to tears. I (unfortunately) came across this story in a foreign (UK) paper, even though it occurred in Florida. I looked at local media coverage, but few had more than just a couple photos, obviously bowing to PC.
If it was reported here already, I do NOT apologize for bringing it before you again, as this story must be read, and the message spread. Here is the tale of a white woman (25) who had at least two children with a white man. Both children are beautiful white blond/blue specimens. So, for whatever reason, the white woman splits from her white husband (probably because, as a Beta male, he finally succumbed to the fact that you cannot train a whore not to be a whore, despite the Pretty Woman, White Knight fantasies), and gets involved with a black man who does not work, has raped his former gf (probably more), has a long list of violent criminal offenses (those are just the once that he got caught for, that is), and was left the WATCH the two children – the boy just a toddler, and the girl a mere 5-year-old, while she worked at a strip club! Now, did you get that? This stripper left her two small blond/blue children with an unemployed black man who was a violent, drug-addicted rapist.
And so, the boy has now disappeared, and the police say the negro male is lying about someone stealing him out of the car while he went back inside to DO COCAINE before picking up the white trash female.
Where to start (as I want to SCREAM)?
* Did he just kill the blue-eyed devil, or sell him to some pedophile for some easy drug money?
* Get rid of the boy, as no need for him, but keep the girl for sex and future income (prostitute) potential (like her mom)?
* How many times has the blond girl been sexually abused by this negro while left alone with him for hours at a time? Hope the doctors examine her.
* Where is the real father? I would rather kill the mother and go to jail, so that the children go to the grandparents or foster care – where at least they would have had a chance at a decent life.
* Where are the motherly instincts of the woman? Besides all of the obvious arguments regarding her stupid decision to get involved with any black man, let alone a POS like this one, where is her natural protective instincts for her young?
As to the last point, above, I liken this behavior to animals in a zoo, that give birth in unnatural environments and have no parenting skills, sometimes outright killing their young. That sums up this female, and this putrid society that we now live in.
