Does Roosh have any recourse to sue this feminist, Haley Yael, into submission?

Posting flyers with a man’s photo and an accompanying “sexual predator” libel seems to me to violate some basic international legal protections, not to mention common decency. Not that I would ever expect common decency from feminist cunts, but it’s always helpful to remind people how deranged the mouthpieces for the “social justice” movement have become.
Upside: This will immeasurably boost Roosh’s infamy, which will not coincidentally increase the pool of women, feminist or otherwise, who secretly and not so secretly want to experience his Bang philosophy firsthand.
PS Kudos for the trolling operation here.
Canada… where the men put things up their butts and the women fantasize about being attractive to rapists.

@CH From my experience, and a few friends of mine who are on the same level as me, have gone through the same. They generally get offended by men who are more into reading this blog, and ROK. One even posted an article about how European societies have never been truly patriarchal and that women were in the high-tier of decision making throughout different European societies. (I’ll find the link. It’s not in my history.)
[CH: there is some merit to the theory that western societies have always been more, for lack of a better term, sex-neutral than traditionally patriarchal societies like the ones found in central asia or the middle east. but there’s a huge difference between putting your wife to work for your family business and letting her out during the daytime without full body covering, and what we have today in the west, which is utter leftoid insanity.
i don’t support some “caliphate-ization” of the west as a cure for feminist derangement that would be worse than the disease. i just want the lies to stop and the common-sensical rollback of various public and private policies that appease feminists and make life difficult for everyone else.]

Pretty much says it all. One little puzzle is the Ancient Greeks. They basically treated women like Muslims do. The society that the Aryans stormed over must have been an old world one, and the Hellenes found it appealing and assimilated to it.

German treatment of women in the Ancient World was a curiosity. They treated them as equals in secular matters and as superiors in spiritual matters. Read the Battle for Gaul by Julius Caesar for insight.

WN women have been best described by Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn who wrote (in 1943) “There is also a masculine tendency in National-Socialist womanhood. General Ludendorff’s second wife dressed frequently in trousers and was an enthusiastic apostle of female equality. To be a man is also the great dream of many an enthusiastic Hitler girl.”
That sums it up pretty nicely and is still true in regards to Stromfront and their ilk. Women who also want to be “a real man” and who are surrounded by white white knights – both terribly afraid that the brown man could destroy their beloved “equality”…

Isn’t Roosh Persian? Persians are Aryan.
–Persians are a mix of White conquerors and the peoples they conquered, just like Arabs and many of the Indians.
–Of all asylum-seeking groups in Northern Europe, those who are asylum seekers from Iran are the only ones who go to college and university to the same degree as North Europeans. (The majority of Iranians in the West today are not asylum seekers, though.)
–Persians are a lot more light-skinned and have fairer traits than Arabs, though not to the same degree as Whites. However, many of them can pass for Mediterraneans. Others cannot. I know a Persian woman in her thirties who was visibly flattered when I tried to guess where she was from, and guessed Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France before I gave up. She always liked me after that.
–Persian women are often small and slim. They like to dress in stylish clothing, often in white clothes. They will often dress more feminine than Western women do today, and do so tastefully. The way Western women would have done without feminism. A common look for a Persian woman is Jackie Onassis-style summer clothes with sunglasses pushed up in her forehead.
–There are, of course, those Persian women who grow up in the West who act more feminist and leftist. But in general far less so than, say, Arabs and Africans. As is typical: the more intelligent the immigrant group, the less leftist, but still in general many leftists among them.
–Quite a few of the men will act like greaseballs, not unlike the worst of the Italians.
–Unlike Arabs, and like East Asians, they have a culture where you are expected to advance to middle class and upward or you’re nothing. A man’s economic prospects are very important when he is looking for a wife. Those Persians in the West who can’t get a Persian wife living in the same country will often import one from Iran – from those women who are desperate to leave the country as it is being strangled by the Washington’s economic warfare. There are many such women to choose from, as it is a country of 77 million. Ironically then, because these lesser-value men have a lot to choose from if they take that route, they will often get very attractive women.
–MANY non-Persians pretend to be Persians. (Just like there are Persian men who pretend to be Italians or Spaniards.) Armenians, Uzbeks, Azerbaijani, etc – and especially Afghans – like to claim they are Persians. Some Arabs too. Especially Arabs who have grown up in Iran, or whose parents come from there. So if you see someone who says he is Persian, it isn’t necessarily true.
–Persians in general do not like Arabs one bit. Persians are very aware of their White ancestry – Iran means “Land of the Aryan”. (They are less keen on acknowledging their non-White ancestry.) Persians also generally do not like Africans, Kurds, Afghans, or other rabble. If you get to know different immigrant groups in Europe you will know why. Persians are not as good as Whites, but they are miles above these groups, just like East Asians are of higher quality than South-East Asians.
–Persians typically love American culture and Americans, but they dislike the U.S. government, controlled as it is by the Zionist media and Israeli lobby, which attack Iran for standing up for the Palestinians. This dislike is true also for those who are not religious. Many also acknowledge that those who are religious hawks in Iran, are so because of circumstances created by Britain and the U.S., starting with the British-Soviet invasion in 1941 and culminating with the CIA’s Operation Ajax to install the shah.

Great write-up, Arbiter. Persians may not be fully white, but I still feel a strong sense of kinship with them. We share a common enemy. We also share the experience of having an alien Abrahamic faith imposed on us, against which we pushed back in the forms of Catholicism and Shia Islam. Our common cultural and linguistic roots go back perhaps 6000 years to the Eurasian Steppes. The best parts of Christianity were adaptations from Zoroastrianism, which itself was merely a reform of the ancient Aryan religion.

LOL Such bullshit. First, I don’t “glorify” anyone, but of course this Jew didn’t actually read what I wrote. Second, Persians love Whites, while Jews hate Whites, that is known.
“They kill millions” – are you a liar or an idiot? Only the AIPAC-controlled U.S. government causes the death of more than a million people in the Middle East, either directly or indirectly. And the U.S. funded and armed Iraq as it invaded Iran in the 1980s, causing two million deaths.
“in Iraq Syria Yemen Lebanon etc” – Um, no. It is ISIS and al-Qaeda that kill people in Iraq – and ISIS and today’s al-Qaeda are supported by the terrorist state Israel. Israel has even treated al-Qaeda’s Syrian soldiers on the Israeli side of the border. Israeli officials say they want ISIS to win. ISIS is backed by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Israel’s and therefore America’s allies. The Zionists, not Iran, are the ones who support these Sunni groups, as they are now consist mainly of anti-Shia Iraqis, now that Usama bin Laden is gone. Their only goal is to kill Shias, which Israel likes.
“Yemen”? The Houthi rebels stand up against the tyrant, and for that they are attacked by Israel-backed, U.S.-backed Saudi Arabia. Which is deliberately bombing civilians and food supplies. In order to help al-Qaeda, which the Houthis are fighting. And the Houthis are NOT connected to Iran, despite the Zio neocon’s lies in U.S. media, always calling them “Iran-backed”. They are a homegrown resistance. Only lately have them been supported by Iran – of course, why shouldn’t Iran say that the Houthis’ cause is just? It is. That doesn’t mean they are “Iran’s agents”. They are not even the same kind of Shias as Iran.
“Lebanon”? Israel invaded Lebanon to murder thousands of people. Because the Palestinians had resistance fighters in the refugeee camps there. Israel then murdered Shias in southern Lebanon because these had contacts in the refugee camps that were right next to them. The Israeli tanks ran through the streets in Beirut’s poor Shia parts, the south and the east, murdering people by running over them, as the streets were packed full of people. The Israelis murdered thousands in Sabra and Shatila. The Shias were forced to take up arms to defend themselves against the invasion. Once again Israelis and their henchmen killing, and local Shias and others defending themselves – with Zionists then saying “Iran’s agents are attacking!”
Got any more lies for me to expose? This has been fun.

I can assure you that when you explain to nationalist women what the manosphere is about and why, they understand and accept it. Even while they’ll think that there must be those who focus too much on game-as-trickery. I’d say they are wrong about the average CH reader, but there are a lot of different kinds of folks on other forums.
However, if you see nationalist women who are highly active in politics online – what kind of woman does that? That is not normal for nationalist women. They like to be part of the local community, but they are generally much less active than men, for good reason since it is a very dangerous area. And they are not made for the vicious confrontation active nationalists are exposed to.
So those WN women you see who are active online are generally different from the rest, and they are a minority.

This is sick. This is part of the political terrorism that goes on all year round in the West. Immigration critics are attacked and beaten, their cars are burned, their windows are smashed late at night, their homes are vandalized, their employers are called and threatened. And the media are silent about it, making sure that the terrorism can continue. Roosh likewise becomes a target because he opposes the establishment’s agenda.
What would the media say if a feminist extremist had her picture posted like this? It would be all over the media, it would be on the New York Times website; perhaps it would be called a “threat to democracy” as they like to say whenever an establishment politician has been threatened, or claims to have been threatened, by “racists”, while repeated attacks on immigration-critical politicians are ignored by the same journalists.

Yeah. The feminist founders – Margaret Mead, Andrea Dworkin, Susan Sonntag, Betty Friedan, Naomi Wolf – all came from the U.S. The Marxists who write the sociology books exported to every Western university are Americans, and the “experts” they quote are Americans. The Frankfurt School spread from America to the rest of the world, riding on American wealth and might, and in particular on the Tribe’s control of American media. All the ills in the West come from the U.S. Hell, even communists in Western Europe were more culturally conservative before the Frankfurt School spread.
I say “Americans” but it is mostly the Tribe. Now there are lots of leftist Americans. And leftist Canadians. But also a lot of conservative Americans, and conservative Canadians. American conservatives curse leftists in their country, but when it’s about other countries they usually don’t make that distinction but simply curse the whole nationality. The distinction you make for yourselves should be extended to the rest of us. It’s just common courtesy. And if you really think a country’s citizens are collectively guilty of what the worst of the citizens have done – then Americans have more to answer for than almost any other nation.

Just like he lied about many other things, like shooting two robbers and getting letters of praise from cops all over the country, and setting up his and a friend’s sniper rifle on top of the Superdome to shoot dozens of looters during Hurricane Katrina.
The lie about Ventura was told many times, in print and on television, and it was that lie that drove the salves of Kyle’s book. His Tribe publisher called the story “hot hot hot!” It was what gave him media attention.
Chris Kyle told the lie about Ventura because Ventura, a real conservative, opposed the neocons’ wars. Whereas Chris Kyle exploited those wars for money and for his sick blood thirst. He wrote about how he reveled in killing people, and if his family didn’t want him to come home he would have stayed so he could kill for as long as possible. And this is the guy who kosher conservative Clint Eastwood made a propaganda movie about. In which Kyle is shown to wring his hands over how terrible it is that he has to kill, but he does it for the noble cause, oy vey.
Chris Kyle’s widow perpetuated his lies. Then when Ventura won the libel suit and got money from Kyle’s estate, neocons white knighted about the widow, saying “How can he take money from a poor widow? And from the veterans!” The widow had claimed that most of the money from the book would go to veterans. Another lie: only a small amount went to veteran causes.
Just putting this here because I enjoy exposing the neocons and their co-conspirators whenever possible. And because I enjoy pissing off dumb neocon lovers like Matt/King/Matt King/King Matt/Matt K/MK/whatever, whose worldview is based on what entertains them on teevee.

How hilarious. He was a fucking liar, who claimed that:
–He beat up Jesse Ventura after Jesse Ventura said mean things about dead veterans. Completely false.
–He shot two robbers and when the police showed up, he showed them a “license to kill”-style ID issued from the Pentagon, directing them to the Pentagon with questions, with police then sending him admiring letters from all over the country. Completely false.
–He and a buddy set up sniper rifles on top of the Superdome to shoot more than thirty looters. Completely false.
Chris Kyle was a psychopath who sounded absolutely sick in his lying book (where he included the lie about Jesse Ventura, because Ventura opposed the neocon wars). He reveled in how he got to murder people from a distance. He said he wanted to murder “everyone with a Koran”, which shows he didn’t care one bit about the supposed causes for the Iraq invasion. It shows he wanted to kill all Iraqis, even the ones on the U.S. side. Sick.
A more honest sniper, of course a British one, has stated that no sniper that kills dozens of people will do so without killing innocent civilians. And Chris Kyle, if the liar’s own words are to be believed, killed far more than just dozens. Given the psychopathic nature of his writing, it is pretty certain that those included a lot of innocents. Like Kyle himself admitted, he wanted to kill everyone in Iraq.
And “glory” of what he “accomplished in life”? Fighting for the anti-White AIPAC lobby. Fighting for the establishment that wants to destroy the West with mass immigration, while destroying any Middle Eastern country that stands up for the Palestinians. We Whites are the Palestinians of tomorrow. Traitors like Chris Kyle are against Whites, not for them. I am glad he was killed by a fellow criminal murderer. Too bad it didn’t happen earlier.

At the party, he was on his own
All he did was say he’d take her home
But it seems they didn’t go straight there
‘cos on the porch, she told him,
“Put your hand here…”
Yes it’s that same old story
They told her mum she’s not to worry
Police:
“If what she says is so,
we’ll never let him go!”
Him:
“Never a word could be heard
Not even the sound of a bird
Singing it over again, telling a different story
Never the same as before
See the summer going out by the door…”
Brother:
“And now that you’ve paid for those lies
Get another disguise”
…and the instrumental jam at the end (“Out”) represents the triumph of freedom and truth over lies…

Once in a while there is a mix up when one of us doesn’t log the other out correctly, but he’s got a really nice tablet now that is supposed to be just for him, so we don’t have to share so much. If he’s not real, I wanna know who’s been eating all my food!!!!!!! 😉 And who the heck is in my shower!!!!
You know who also had a twenty-odd age gap? Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford. I watched one of her tributes to her husband last night and found it really inspiring. They so clearly had a rock solid faith-based marriage and you could tell she was his biggest supporter till the very last. So, I’ll be a widow around sixty, like her, and then I’m going to solve crime like Jessica Fletcher, who was also notoriously devoted to her late husband, Frank.
Also, I’ve met many people- men and women- from these sites and other forums I’ve participated in as well. I didn’t find it strange to meet online people offline. I might briefly consider it now, but it simply isn’t worth it to us to get caught up in media malarkey. We have guarded our images and our privacy since the great incident and if that means we can’t “prove” we’re married, so be it. I don’t owe anybody any explanations now for what I do when they weren’t willing to listen to them at the time they were happening.

In the USA this would be defamation per se. Attacking someone as a sexual pervert is one of the categories for that. What it means is you don’t have to prove damages. They are assumed. In the USA if you are a “public figure” you have an almost impossible standard to reach to get a liability finding. I do not know what the Canadian law is on this. However, on its face, a claim is plausible, and any Canadian lawyers who read CH should weigh in on this. It could be a lawsuit worth filing.

Her objection to Roosh therefore seems to be, as with the religion of Voodoo that Roosh’s advice (as also Heartistes) is some form of magic which no woman can possible resist and in the process turns women into mindless zombies, as if Roosh were the reincarnation of Boris Karloff (or do I mean Bela Lugosi?).

He can sue, he can win (there are specific claims of criminality, it’s cut and dry). But it will be slow and expensive and she can’t pay.
I’ve seen people get emergency injunctions against putting up posters for less.
But again, slow and expensive. He’ll need a friendly lawyer and I don’t know if he’ll find one.
The other option is filing a complaint with the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal about the harassment.
Much easier but less likely to work out.

In the United States, the tort of defamation (or libel) is a state-by-state area. I have no idea what the law in Canada is.
One problem, using American law reasoning (again, it is state by state, but there is not a lot of variance), is that Roosh might be a “limited purpose public figure”, which would mean he would have to prove “actual malice”. As a matter of law and fact, he probably could prove as much. He could also file a complaint with the criminal law enforcement, because this is putting his life in danger. Whether the authorities would act is one thing, but he would be well within his rights to do so, and to file a civil action.
Of course, collectibility of a judgment for money damages would be impossible (stupid cunt is an individual with no money; there is no insurance coverage for this tort). But he might be willing to file the action for other reasons.
Typical example of how an American state treats public figures and defamation of character (libel):
Public figures must prove by clear and convincing evidence that allegedly defamatory statements were made with actual malice. The first issue for the Court’s determination is whether Tobinick M.D. is a public figure. New York Times Co., 376 U.S. at 279–80; Curtis Pub. Co. v. Butts, 388 U.S. 130, 133–34, 87 S.Ct. 1975, 18 L.Ed.2d 1094 (1967). Tobinick M.D. appears to have conceded that it is, at the least, a limited purpose public figure—that is, one who has “voluntarily inject[ed] himself or is drawn into a particular public controversy and thereby becomes a public figure for a limited range of issues.” Gertz v. Robert Welch, Inc., 418 U.S. 323, 345, 351, 94 S.Ct. 2997, 41 L.Ed.2d 789 (1974). Tobinick M.D. does not make any argument relating to its status as a public figure, nor does it address the negligence standard that would apply if it were not. Accordingly, the Court considers Tobinick M.D. a public figure, at least for the limited purpose of treating, inter alia, stroke and Alzheimer’s disease with perispinal etanercept/Enbrel.ii. Actual Malice *8 151617
Public figures are required to prove actual malice to recover for defamation. A plaintiff must demonstrate “actual malice” by clear and convincing evidence, a requirement that presents “a heavy burden, far in excess of the preponderance sufficient for most civil litigation.” Hoffman v. Capital Cities/ABC, Inc., 255 F.3d 1180, 1186–87 (9th Cir.2001) (internal quotation marks omitted). “The burden of proof by clear and convincing evidence requires a finding of high probability. The evidence must be so clear as to leave no substantial doubt. It must be sufficiently strong to command the unhesitating assent of every reasonable mind.” Copp v. Paxton, 45 Cal.App.4th 829, 52 Cal.Rptr.2d 831, 846 (Cal.Ct.App.1996) (internal quotation marks omitted).18192021
To show actual malice, a plaintiff must demonstrate that the defendant speaker either knew his statement was false or subjectively entertained serious doubt that his statement was truthful. Bose, 466 U.S. at 511 n. 30. The question is not “whether a reasonably prudent man would have published, or would have investigated before publishing. There must be sufficient evidence to permit the conclusion that the defendant in fact entertained serious doubts as to the truth of his publication. Publishing with such doubts shows reckless disregard for truth or falsity and demonstrates actual malice.” Reader’s Digest Assn. v. Superior Court, 37 Cal.3d 244, 208 Cal.Rptr. 137, 690 P.2d 610, 617–18 (Cal.1984) (emphasis added).
Moreover, “[a] publisher does not have to investigate personally, but may rely on the investigation and conclusions of reputable sources.” Id. at 619.2223242526 A defamation plaintiff may rely on inferences drawn from circumstantial evidence to show actual malice. See id. at 618. “A failure to investigate, anger and hostility toward the plaintiff, reliance upon sources known to be unreliable, or known to be biased against the plaintiff—such factors may, in an appropriate case, indicate that the publisher himself had serious doubts regarding the truth of his publication.” Id. at 618–19 (internal quotation marks, citations, and footnote omitted). An inference of malice may be drawn “when the publisher’s allegations are so inherently improbable that only a reckless man would have put them in circulation,” or “where there are obvious reasons to doubt the veracity of the informant or the accuracy of his reports.” St. Amant v. Thompson, 390 U.S. 727, 732, 88 S.Ct. 1323, 20 L.Ed.2d 262 (1968). Conversely, “[t]he failure to conduct a thorough and objective investigation, standing alone, does not prove actual malice, nor even necessarily raise a triable issue of fact on that controversy. Similarly, mere proof of ill will on the part of the publisher may likewise be insufficient.” Reader’s Digest, 208 Cal.Rptr. 137, 690 P.2d at 619 (citations omitted).27
Here, Tobinick M.D. has put forth insufficient evidence to establish a probability that he will be able to demonstrate by clear and convincing evidence that Novella acted with actual malice.9 First, with respect to Novella’s investigation of Plaintiffs’ practice prior to publishing the articles, nothing in Tobinick’s affidavit directly contradicts the pivotal statements made in Novella’s: that he relied on the Los Angeles Times for some points in the articles, feeling that extensive fact-checking of the Times, which is a reputable source, was not necessary; and that for others he conducted his own research, consulting a number of Tobinick’s case studies, the California Medical Board’s November 12, 2004 Accusation, and Tobinick’s own website. Mot. Ex. 3, Declaration of Dr. Steven Novella (“Novella Decl.”), ¶¶ 5–12. In short, although Novella’s investigation may not have amounted to the kind of rigorous inquiry in which one would engage prior to publishing in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, it was not so deficient as to constitute actual malice. See St. Amant, 390 U.S. at 732; Reader’s Digest, 208 Cal.Rptr. 137, 690 P.2d at 618–19.
FACTS OF THIS CASE
This case concerns two articles written by Dr. Steven Novella, the only defendant remaining in the instant suit.2 Both articles address the practice of Plaintiff Edward Tobinick (“Tobinick”), a doctor who provides medical treatment to patients with “unmet medical needs” via two institutes—Edward Lewis Tobinick M.D., a California medical corporation (“Tobinick M.D.”), and INR PLLC, a Florida professional limited liability company (“INR”)—both doing business as the “Institute of Neurological Recovery” (collectively “Plaintiffs”). Am. Compl. ¶¶ 2–4, 12. Novella published the first article, “Enbrel for Stroke and Alzheimer’s” (“the first article”), on May 8, 2013 in response to a piece published in the Los Angeles Times. Am. Compl. Ex. 1 at 1. As Novella described it,The [Times ] story revolves around Dr. Edward Tobinick and his practice of perispinal etanercept (Enbrel) for a long and apparently growing list of conditions. Enbrel is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of severe rheumatoid arthritis. It works by inhibiting tumor necrosis factor (TNF), which is a group of cytokines that are part of the immune system and cause cell death. Enbrel, therefore, can be a powerful anti-inflammatory drug. Tobinick is using Enbrel for many off-label indications, one of which is Alzheimer’s disease (the focus of the LA Times story).Id. The allegedly false statements in the first article concern the viability of Dr. Tobinick’s treatments, the scientific literature discussing those treatments, the size and locations of Dr. Tobinick’s Institutes, and, by implication, the categorization of Dr. Tobinick’s practice as “health fraud.” See Am. Compl. ¶¶ 54–56, 60–61, 63–64, 69–70, 71–72. Novella published the second article, entitled “Another Lawsuit To Suppress Legitimate Criticism—This Time SBM” (“the second article”), on July 23, 2014, after Plaintiffs filed their suit. Am. Compl. Ex. 5 at 1. In large part, the second article simply restates the content of the first, and Plaintiffs incorporated it into an Amended Complaint. See generally id.; Am. Compl. ¶¶ 102–03. The only statement in the second article which Plaintiffs allege is false and misleading is Novella’s statement, as characterized by Plaintiffs, that “there have been no double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials of the treatment provided by the Plaintiffs.”3 Id.II.

There are 65 reported appellate decisions in the United States that have the words “rapist” and either defamation or libel in the same paragraph.
Where defendant magazine publisher had depicted plaintiff in magazine widely distributed all over the country as a murderer, sodomist, rapist, lecher, and degenerate brute, when in fact and in truth he was an innocent man, and when publisher was notified in writing that defamatory accusations were false, it deliberately spurned request to retract and apologize, which would have immunized it from exemplary damages, there was “express malice” justifying award of punitive damages. F.S.A. §§ 770.01, 770.02.
Brown v. Fawcett Publications, Inc., 196 So. 2d 465, 465-68 (Fla. 2d DCA 1967).
FACTS OF THE CASE
The article was so defamatory on its face that the jury had ample reason to find that it was the consequence of the aforesaid elements, which are equivalent to and in fact constitute express malice. To contend otherwise would be to make a play on words or to engage in a meaningless game of semantics lzozlzozl semiticszzlzozllz, the niceties of which have no place in a matter of such serious import.
The basic facts of the case are without substantial conflict. Fawcett Publications, Inc. is the New York owner and publisher of a magazine called ‘True Police Cases’ of general circulation throughout the country, including Hillsborough and Pasco counties, Florida. In its monthly issue of April, 1961, the magazine featured a story entitled ‘Girl In The Open Grave’ wherein is depicted the lurid, sensational and sordid story made the basis of the subject libel suit. In the article, which not only names plaintiff but also features his picture, he is held up, in effect, as a lecher, a sodomist, a rapist, a ‘Peeping Tom’, a murderer and a generally animalistic brute.
The Facts, as they may be gleaned from the morass of morbidly sensational expletives and interjectories, concern the ravishing and murder of young twenty year old Patricia S_ _, a housewife and mother of an infant daughter, in the rural community of Zephyrhills, Pasco County, near Tampa, Hillsborough County, on the night of October 7, 1960. To illustrate the tenor of the thoroughly disreputable story we quote *467 the following passages which are a fair example of its contents:‘He had peeped in a lot of windows, but he had never seen anything like this before * * *‘Like what I was born to see, born to have,‘ he kept whispering over and over inside his mind where the evil urges festered and bubbled * * *‘He had to have her. He had to have her if he had to kill to have her.‘In the bedroom, his mind a turmoil of passion and raging need, he stood for a moment, breathing raggedly, staring at Patricia, the outline of her body against the fabric of her night gown.‘The man hitting him (Ed Suits) was strong, muscled, and he was putting all his frantic impulses into the blows.‘The man struck Patricia again, the pine board breaking at last, blood clotted, smeared.
He threw it behind him, part of it falling into the baby’s crib.‘His quivering fists reached out, caught the insensible blonde’s gown, ripped it away so nothing would be between that beautiful body and him again.‘In the darkness then, he lifted her again, panting, and ran across a weedgrown field with her to the deeper shadows of a moss-choked fallen tree.
And there he had everything he wanted from her, every way he wanted it, his perverted mind driven to wild excesses by his own violence and by her clean and radiant-looking young beauty * * *‘Then sated, like an animal wearied and exhausted, there was nothing for him to do but slink away in the dark, return softly and silently into the black night from which he had come * * *‘Three men questioned on October 9 by deputies were regarded with suspicion. These men were Lucas Tidings, Woodrow Brown and John Bement.‘Brown’s address was ascertained to be that of a boarding house in Tampa, Florida * * *‘Gaining admittance, the lawmen found the suspect’s room a vile rookery of dirty stories, lewd pictures, smutty magazines-all the soothing literature of an ailing mind.‘Meanwile in Zephyrhills, Sheriff Bessenger ran a check on Woodrow Brown, learned the following facts about him: Born May 13, 1913, Brown, a carpenter by trade, was a sodomite by choice.‘And Sheriff Bessenger had proof that this unsavory ex-convict with a long criminal record had been in the area of the murder on the night Patricia Ann was slain. He was a convicted Peeping Tom, and worse, no one could swear that he was in bed on that fatal evening-as his family had supposed and so stated on questioning.‘This lawbreaker had gone casually about his life during these past weeks, coming and going in Zephyrhills, working at his job as carpenter.’
To further pin-point the article as being directed toward plaintiff Woodrow Brown, there was appended to the narration the printed note: ‘(t)he names Lucas Tidings and John Bement, as used in the foregoing story, are fictitious. We had people coming out of everywhere informing us of our fugitive status.
I was dating a hot young girl at the time whose father was a lawyer. My parents met with him and he decided he would help us sue Chevron, but then backed out when my friend was actually arrested for a crime a few weeks later.
At minimum he should speak with a male attorney and sue the shit out of the rancid cunt if possible.

Roosh has to show (demonstrate) that he has been damaged in order to have standing to sue. A good argument on her part would be the net effect of what she did was beneficial to Roosh in terms of publicity. In other words, showing damages might not be easy.
As to the criminal statutes, the question is whether the individual has the authority to sue under those statutes or whether it must be public authority (a prosecutor).
If Roosh were to sue, in order for anything to proceed he would have to win a judgment. That, in a hostile and feminized environment, is in no way guaranteed even considering the evidence. The next issue is whether he can get that judgment converted into money. That can be as much or more of a problem than winning the case. Trying to collect the judgment might take years and way too much time. If the goal is to make an example of this woman you have to put her where she belongs: On her knees.
Recall the old Irish saying “Do not offend the Bard”
Roosh is better off spending his money on a complete background investigation of this woman, to include her family members, her friends, employer… I mean everyone. Name them and shame them. Bring the fight to her home and wage a campaign of scorched earth. Separate her from her sources of support. Be ruthless in removing her resources.
If criminal charges can be filed, do so. Nuisance lawsuits that require money to be spent on attorneys is the one exception to paying into the legal system, inasmuch as being forced to pay an attorney is no different from being forced to pay a fine to the court.
Publish articles, publish commentary, just flat out Google-bomb her so that anyone whoever searches for her name gets a face-full of what she really is and the controversy surrounding her. Control the narrative, and that means take the initiative.
Public naming and shaming is the far better way to go than shoveling money into the legal system that has worked hand in hand with feminism to pretty much destroy western civilization.

From what I know about the UK— which is similarly socialist to Canada, and both stem from the English common law system, and both have massively curtailed free speech—-I think RooshV may have a shot here at libel/slander.
In the UK is that libel/slander is ridiculously easy to prove, because they have no free speech. In the U.S., the opposite is true; due to our First Amendment and its progeny to be found to be committing libel/slander, you need to show that the speaker/writer KNEW what he was saying was 100% FALSE. That’s essentially proving a negative, and almost impossible; for example, if I have an outside belief that Rosie O’Donnell molests her children—even if I only remotely suspect it—I can broadcast that Rosie O’Donnell molests her children, and she would lose in court on libel/slander. She might make me pay with legal fees for my lawyers, but I would win. This is how you know Al Shaprton is a 100% liar on all issues, because he got proven to be committing libel/slander in the Tawana Brawley case.
In the UK, the opposite is true: the speaker must prove that what he said was 100% true, and, even if true, what said must not violate the hate speech laws. That’s right, truth is not an absolute defense; if you say that blacks commit crimes at a higher rate than whites, you can still be sued and lose, even though what you’re saying is true.
This anit-free speech creates a mega-corporations culture, where only massive corporations can report the news in the UK, since they’re the only ones that can absorb the fines levied for any story not 100% confirmed and hate speech-free. This is how the BBC dominates there, and how only Rupert Murdoch, with his billions, could cut in. Want to start a newspaper in the UK? Good luck. One honest error, or one story whose source you can’t track down later? You’re out of business. The BBC probably sends out false sources every once in a while to take down upstart news organizations.
I would think Canada would have the same libel/slander protections, due to its proximity, law-wise, to the UK, and to its hate-speech laws. Roosh should contact a Canadian lawyer or two–probably those aligned with the conservative party—to get more information. Definitely worth pursuing.
BTW, enjoy our free speech while it lasts, gents. Already the left—which created the free speech law in our country back in the 1920s, due to the fact that they were out of power and needed robust free speech to spew their doggrel—is making an about face to attack the 1st amendment. Google the slimebag “Jeremy Waldron” (an NYU law professor, and, of course, an immigrant) to find his beginning shots at burning the 1st amendment to the ground.

The hard part for Roosh is going to be identifying who posted the flyers and proving that they did it. Unless he catches someone in the act or they’re dumb enough to publicly confess, I’d say it’s unlikely he can proceed.
The silver lining is that you can commit libel/defamation in Canada even if you are only repeating something someone else published first. So if he catches someone posting or distributing copies of the flyer, he can nail them.

Seems like slander and defamation of character which are crimes, could be assault depending on the wording as well. And there are, of course, the civil aspects to consider as well. Find a young lawyer that is hungry to make a name for himself and turn him loose – you don’t even need to know who did it – if any newspaper picks it up or publishes it, they are the ones with the deep pockets so you could go after them as well.
Of course, you could also go for it being a “hate” crime as well – that’s always good…

I’m a licensed attorney in New York, so I’ve studied this stuff and I think I can speak on it intelligently:
Roosh has a cause of action for libel. He wasn’t in Montreal to encourage men to rape, nor did his speech encourage men to rape. Thus, this is a false, defamatory statement being asserted as a fact, and the act of plastering flyers all over Montreal is “publishing” it, legally-speaking. His being a “public figure” has no bearing on this; the flyer is asserting that he was in town to encourage men to rape (aka encourage men to commit felonies), which is false and defamatory. (The “public figure exception” does factor in to some slander/libel claims, but I don’t believe this is one of them.)
I think it’s high time for these SJW/feminazi lunatics to be held legally accountable for their actions – as they seek and take concrete action to hold us legally accountable for ours – so I do hope Roosh pursues a libel suit against whomever was responsible for these flyers, as well as criminal battery charges against that ‘woman’ and her friend who threw the drinks on him at the bar. Eye for an eye, tit for tat.
In the drink throwing case, I don’t think Roosh did himself any favors by acting belligerent and flipping them the bird – he made himself look bad and lowered himself to their level. He should’ve – and should in the future – take a page from the Gandhi/MLK playbook and just take his lumps for his cause in those situations. Let them hit you, let them spit on you, let them throw drinks on you. Don’t respond in any way, least of all by flipping the bird, cursing, or reacting at all. Everything is being filmed, everyone can see. Take the high road.

I’m giving my opinion on the issue, as requested by CH in the post. Of course I recommend Roosh consult a Quebec-licensed attorney on the issue, but based on my own studies of defamation law, I gave my informed opinion.
Defamation law standards for the tort of libel are similar in any jurisdiction based on English common law (all of Canada, except Quebec), as well as any French/Napoleonic civil law jurisdiction (which Quebec is, having formerly been a French territory). The specifics of procedure may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but the basics of what constitutes the tort of libel would be the same.
I hope that illuminates you.

You’re more like Kid N’ Play. We must look at his overall body of work, which was the context of the flyer. Moreover, he has to definitively prove that she personally produced the material AND distributed. His “public figure” has EVERYTHING to do with it. Canadians can be held liable on comments on public affairs, about public figures–which ROOSH clearly is–which are factually true, and which are broadly believed, but NOT held liable for opinion or inference.
LikeLike
You betray yourself as a troll with the personal insults, GCM.
A public figure would still have a cause of action for libel if someone falsely publishes that they’re specifically encouraging men to rape women (i.e. commit felonies) in a speech they’re giving. I would be confident I would win against you in court about this detail. But you’re obviously here to troll and disrupt discourse, so I’m sure this detail doesn’t matter to you in the least.
I’ll repeat here what I replied to your post above, just in case you missed it:
GCM, you’re incorrect. Irreparable harm to reputation and significant impact to the ability to financially support oneself has nothing to do with a libel/defamation tort claim.
Libel is a written false statement that is defamatory in nature which is published – “published” meaning distributed from the author of the false, defamatory statement to at least one other person.
In this case, the author of the flyer has published a statement about Roosh: that he was in Montreal to encourage men to rape; i.e. to encourage men to commit felonies. This is false and defamatory in nature; Roosh wasn’t encouraging men to rape in his speech.
The truth is a defense to a libel/defamation claim. So the defendant (in this case, the person who posted the flyer), in order to defend against the claim, would have to show that Roosh was encouraging men to commit rape in his speech.
To me, barring political obstacles, this is a pretty clear case of libel.

Well, he did propose that sexual assault should be legalized on private property, although the context of his comments focused on how women put themselves in harm’s way when they have sex with men in a drunken state or are feel ashamed afterwards. The jury would take his statements into account.
“GCM, you’re incorrect. Irreparable harm to reputation and significant impact to the ability to financially support oneself has nothing to do with a libel/defamation tort claim.”
Dude, in a defamation case in which the plaintiff claims harm from libel or slander and is seeking compensation, then evidence is submitted in that regard.

Rum has no arguments against the three very serious lies listed. After so many years, Rum hasn’t learned a single fact. He just keeps shouting “USA! USA!” when he sees “our” military on TV. It’s like watching football for people like him. Chris Kyle, in real life, was a highly imperfect human being. That in itself does not make for much of a story. I will not speak for you, but most people I know are pretty confused, variable, and prone to exaggerate – even on their best days.
But not many people I know are as brave and committed to the fight as he was. Lots of folks want to describe him as a “sociopath” because he expressed no regrets about killing bad guys.
To me, that is absurd. Sociopaths are not known for putting their own lives at risk. They might steal from you with a smile but they generally do not volunteer to leave a place of safety to take the point in a house insertion.
I do not pretend to be detached emotionally from this subject. i grew up in the shadow of the Alamo and among living memory of Texas Rangers fighting comanches and assorted bad guys on an utterly lawless frontier. Very bad guys indeed.
Every single hero of early Texas history was spectacularly flawed. All of this is taught in schools. But Travis and his drunken whore-monger followers did not run at the Alamo.
Sam Houston (aka Big Drunk) led a passlle of degenerates prone to story telling and exaggeration in a surprise attack in the middle of a hot afternoon against a professional European army — and changed history in a big way.
The battle of San Jacinto is on every list of the worlds most significant battles.

Canada has very stringent slander and libel laws. You cannot call someone a sexual predator without risking being sued. Roosh could take the person to court under small claims, where the dispute does not exceed 15k.
Canada is different from the U.S. In that if someone sues you and loses, the unsuccessful plaintiff has to pay the defendant’s legal fees. This is known as ‘costs’ and is a deterrent to frivolous litigants. However, the amount of ‘costs’ is never as much as the actual legal fees. Generally. There are no ‘costs’ awarded in small claims court, so suing the poster could allow Roosh to force them to incur legal fees without allowing them any recourse if Roosh was ultimately unsuccessful.

I hope this photo attaches properly, speaking of the hand that rocks the cradle. It is a seemingly ‘innocent’ advertisement against the dangers of spreading whooping cough, but presented two other powerful images to me, at once:
(1) A feminist woman, is a wolf underneath, and cannot be trusted with the physical, mental, or spiritual safety of your children.
(2) The even more powerful, more macro, interpretation of the image is that of the threat faced by whites, and specifically white males (with the baby representing the future) – wolves, feigning their well-being, are out to destroy them. Will the baby survive, in the clutches of the enemy?

Redux you nailed. Original red riding hood story explained.
Even the original Disney cartoons before the takeover, the big bad wolves were shown as Jews.
In medieval Germany the forest (as in this depiction of the fairy tale) meant a place women and girls would not walk through alone, whether due to animal wolves or human wolves. In fact, as late as the 1700s there were many still apiru (jewish) criminals, highwaymen, lurking in the forests of southern Germany. The story of Little Red Riding Hood reflects this fear of HUMAN stranger-danger in the forest.

I was sitting in a suburban pizza place yesterday with a comrade of mine, and a couple came in with two boys about 9 or 10 years old, one white, one light-skinned black (I’m guessing adopted, but who knows).
I suddenly hear the young white boy say something about “Holocaust” and the father (a big ol’ schlub-looking average Joe) said something about “Hitler and what he did”. The mom was a plain Jane, both parents about 40.
I’m guessing that maybe it was a recent topic in school (4th or 5th grade?) and that’s why it was mentioned, but then I thought, here we are, a suburban pizza parlour having lunch… why is the topic of a young 4th or 5th grade white boy’s conversation the Holocaust and Hitler at the family table?
I tried to remember back when I went to school, and honestly don’t recall Hitler getting mentioned in any sort of history class until well into junior high.
Sure, we all knew about WWII from TV shows like Combat and war movies (e.g., The Great Escape)… but geez, Louise, they have to start pumping that Holocaust stuff into elementary school children’s heads?

Yes – I noticed that the anti-white indoctrination has started even in elementary school. We haven’t hit the haul-my-cost yet but I’m sure it won’t be long.
Last year, in second grade, my son was happy he could skip doing one of his assigned December homework worksheets when he learned that our family’s position is that “Kwanza is not a real holiday.”

I just thought of a word we can use to describe faux conservative manlets who treat feminist shills like virginal dames in distress. I would propose that we call these low T beta boys
CuntServeatives
Not sure if someone has already beat me to it, but here’s my reasoning. These guys, like that RedState fellow, fall over themselves to white knight for the caustic cunts who secretly resent them. In a sense, they serve cunts and thus deserve contempt.
Cuckservative – RINO who sells out their countrymen for personal gain
CuntServeative – Manlet who unquestioningly treats feminist cunts as their masters

Whether or not he has a case for defamation is based on what it says under “sexual predator” which I can’t read because I don’t speak French. Calling someone a “sexual predator” in and of itself isn’t slander since the term is subjective and can mean a lot of different things to different people. So, if the flyer just accuses him of teaching men how to game women (even if it contains exaggerated or accusatory language) he probably doesn’t have a case.

Had a situation at my HP yesterday. Like an opinion.
There is an acquaintance who I talk to every once in a while. Short story is he said he will probably be getting married to a gal from Poland who is living n New York right now. I stated that it is good she is not an American as I would not recommend getting married for entitlement and risk reasons. He basically stated that Men initiate divorce more than women and that women still have a ways to go to become equal in America. Said other cultures have solid marriages when the women are the leaders. I think he used Burma as an example. This guy is from India but has been in the U.S. for 15 years. He said one thing about American women is they won’t put up with bullshit. He said his older brother was divorced from an American women but that it was partly his brothers fault even though she initiated it. I typed “who initiates divorce” in Google and the first article that came up was about why so many women initiate it. Showed it to him. He is in the insurance business and said he has the statistics to back his claim. I was calling bullshit and told him the U.S. is the most drugged, propagandized and monitored country in the world. He kind of justified why it is. He said monitoring is for our safety, blah, blah. I said he was firmly indoctrinated with the propaganda. He stated that the reason marriages go bad is because of the bad example of our politicians. All the sex they have outside of marriage. He is a huge fan of women but I noticed that every time a women walked by he would give her the once over with his eyes from top to bottom. Finally got up and shook his hand and smiled while saying agree to disagree.
My concern is what to do with this guy. I have two guys there that I consider wing-men who generally watch my back. This guy asked if I was married and now that he knows I am a little concerned he is going to ruin the party for me. Who knows what kind of white knighting and cock blocking he is capable of.

ROOSH VALIZADEH IS INDEED A SEXUAL PREDATOR AND AN ENEMY OF THE WHITE RACE.
He has no case, because truth is the ultimate defense to charges of defamation. All these girls have to do is to bring his own book and website where he basically promotes attacking women.
We men should not be protecting a sexual predator like Roosh V, because the tactics he is teaching are being used by black and other aliens to prey on white women. As a result, white men cannot find a white girl to date, because most of them are taken by blacks or Mexicans. First of all, white women, most of whom are gullible, are being brainwashed by the Jewish controlled media into mal-cegenation and are going around with blacks. ON top of this, pick up artists like Roosh are teaching more blacks how to con white women and prey on them. As more white women fall prey to blacks and Mexicans, the serious shortage of white women for white men is getting worse.
White men would not have to use “game” if there were enough white women for all the white men (age appropriate). The use of game is because of the shortage caused by white women being stolen by blacks and Mexicans.
So these feminists happen to be on our side in this regard. I do support them.

He’s a public figure. I’m the only one who answered correctly and cited cases as a real lawyer does. Stuck in mod.
Public figure must show actual malice.
Any judgment not collectible but he has reasons to sue other than money.
I happened to be on westlaw when CH posted.

Don’t you think he has a case for actual malice? I would argue in court that “actual malice” is pretty self-evident here.
The flyers stated that he was in Canada to “encourage men to rape” (i.e. commit felonies). Given the fact that he was in Canada to give a speech, his presence in Canada to give the speech was what prompted the flyer, and the speech wasn’t “encouraging men to rape,” I would argue that the flyer is false and defamatory and was created and published with “actual malice.”
Of course, it’s the job of the court (judge and/or jury) to determine the facts, and given the political climate in Canada these days, it would probably be a very uphill battle to even get a court to determine that water is wet if that conclusion went against the PC outcome that the SJWs, libtards and feminists want….

I’ve been wondering if one of Roosh’s main goals since the announcement of his tour (and actually before that with his appearance on the dr oz show) was to gain fame and see how that affects the quality, quantity and ease of bangs. Certainly worth a try considering his experiences so far.
