Scott Adams On Donald Trump On Game

August 15, 2015 by CH

Scott Adams wrote a couple of short essays on The Trumpening that are basically recitations of core game concepts (some of which are retrofitted from ideas first introduced by Robert Cialdini in his book Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion). You will find many of Scott’s points, and Trump’s tactics, explained in depth in the CH archives.

Would Trump use his negotiation and persuasion skills in the campaign? Of course he would. And we expect him to do just that. […]

As I said in my How to Fail book, if you are not familiar with the dozens of methods of persuasion that are science-tested, there’s a good chance someone is using those techniques against you.

For example, when Trump says he is worth $10 billion, which causes his critics to say he is worth far less (but still billions) he is making all of us “think past the sale.” The sale he wants to make is “Remember that Donald Trump is a successful business person managing a vast empire mostly of his own making.” The exact amount of his wealth is irrelevant.

When a car salesperson trained in persuasion asks if you prefer the red Honda Civic or the Blue one, that is a trick called making you “think past the sale” and the idea is to make you engage on the question of color as if you have already decided to buy the car. That is Persuasion 101 and I have seen no one in the media point it out when Trump does it.

“Think past the sale” is the same as the game technique known as “assume the sale“. The results of this form of persuasion/seduction are just as predictable: the customer/woman is groomed to believe he/she has already chosen your product/you.

The $10 billion estimate Trump uses for his own net worth is also an “anchor” in your mind. That’s another classic negotiation/persuasion method. I remember the $10 billion estimate because it is big and round and a bit outrageous. And he keeps repeating it because repetition is persuasion too.

I don’t remember the smaller estimates of Trump’s wealth that critics provided. But I certainly remember the $10 billion estimate from Trump himself. Thanks to this disparity in my memory, my mind automatically floats toward Trump’s anchor of $10 billion being my reality. That is classic persuasion. And I would be amazed if any of this is an accident. Remember, Trump literally wrote the book on this stuff.

Anchoring is another insidiously effective game technique. In seduction, anchoring is most effective when a good feeling or evoked emotion is purposefully coupled with a physical touch, so that the woman associates her positive state with her seducer’s presence.

You might be concerned that exaggerating ones net worth is like lying, and the public will not like a liar. But keep in mind that Trump’s value proposition is that he will “Make America Great.” In other words, he wants to bring the same sort of persuasion to the question of America’s reputation in the world. That concept sounds appealing to me. The nation needs good brand management, whether you think Trump is the right person or not.

In game parlance, “branding” is called “creating an identity”, which means adopting some sexy persona that appeals to women.

Trump also said he thinks Mexico should pay for the fence, which made most people scoff. But if your neighbor’s pit bull keeps escaping and eating your rosebushes, you tell the neighbor to pay for his own fence or you will shoot his dog next time you see it.

Scott Adams definitely reads Chateau Heartiste.

On a recent TV interview, the host (I forget who) tried to label Trump a “whiner.” But instead of denying the label, Trump embraced it and said was the best whiner of all time, and the country needs just that. That’s a psychological trick I call “taking the high ground” and I wrote about it in a recent blog post. The low ground in this case is the unimportant question of whether “whiner” is a fair label for Trump. But Trump cleverly took the high ground, embraced the label, and used it to set an anchor in your mind that he is the loudest voice for change. That’s some clown genius for you.

In game parlance, “taking the high ground” means “Agree&Amplify“. Donald F’ing Trump is a skilled Game practitioner. No wonder the women in his life are so beautiful and adore him so deeply.

When Trump raised his hand at the debate as the only person who would not pledge to back the eventual Republican candidate, he sent a message to the party that the only way they can win is by nominating him. And people like to win. It is in their nature.

Trump is a winner. This is why he bugs cuckservatives so much.

And what about Trump’s habit of bluster and self-complimenting? Every time he opens his mouth he is saying something about the Trump brand being fabulous or amazing or great. The rational part of your brain thinks this guy is an obnoxious, exaggerating braggart. But the subconscious parts of your brain (the parts that make most of your decisions) only remember that something about that guy was fabulous, amazing and great.

Game concept: DHVing (demonstrating higher value).

Now that Trump owns FOX, and I see how well his anchor trick works with the public, I’m going to predict he will be our next president.

I don’t know if we’ll have a President Trumpening (in’shallah), but if we do it’ll be because Trump has TIGHT GAME. And balls.

Now, if you can become president using game, imagine how much game could help you clean up with women!

Here’s Scott’s second essay on Trump’s power of persuasion.

My main point is that intellectual arguments lose to visual arguments and to powerful associations such as “America” and “great.” You think Trump is spouting calorie-free non-policies because he’s an idiot who hasn’t done his homework. The reality (as far as I can tell) is that he’s playing three-dimensional chess with two-dimensional opponents.

Beta spergs take note: you will never logically or intellectually stimulate a woman into bed. You have to learn to speak the language of hotnsexynsteamynsensual romance, which is, in fact, as learnable as any rule of logic inquiry.

***

Scott Walker is a niceguy who for the most part has his head on straight, compared to the rest of the cuckservative field. But he is weak. Listen to him feebly try to reason with some mud invader who wants the US to do nothing less than bend over and take his burrito up the keister.

Commenter “Original” writes,

Trump reframes children of illegal immigrants as: “It’s an issue of our countries policies encouraging this behavior.”

Here’s a more powerful reframe: “Anyone who breaks this country’s immigration laws for their own benefit is a delinquent. Shame on all illegals for breaking the law, but especially shame on all illegals who drag their children into their criminal activity.”

The anointed GOP contenders are weak. This is why they fail. And this is why Trump wins.

I’ve been working on a theory that women aren’t attracted to men like Trump because they’re rich, but rather because they have this right game and sexual magnetism. The things that allow Trump to marry and date models also allow for his wealth.

I don’t think money brings rich men women (some, sure), but rather the thing that brings them money ALSO brings women. That confidence, charisma, and animalistic tenacity. It telegraphs power and all the right things to get s bird all worked up.

Not on the list, but another point which I try to emphasize with dudes in LTRs [and especially husbands]: NEVER BACK DOWN IN A FIGHT. Hold your ground. She’ll throw h3ll and high-water at you, but secretly your steadfastness is making her gush between her legs. The makeup sex will be as good as any you’ve ever had. And The Donald. Does. Not. Back. Down.

Imagine Trump making this argument: “We got Wong Kim Ark shoved down our throats, in the 19th Century, because the Fatcat Railroad Tycoons wanted illegal Chinese cheap labor, so they went to their purchased whores on the SCROTUS to grant them that cheap labor, and Wong Kim Ark is still every bit as wrong of a decision in the 21st Century, when the Chamber of Commerce uses its purchased whores on the SCROTUS to get their illegal Mexican cheap labor.” Trump might win frigging 75% of the vote.

The Republicans will lock him out of the party if it looks like he’ll win the nomination. If Trump runs as an independent, they’ll rig the election. If he still manages to get past these hurdles and actually win the Office, they’ll pull a JFK on him. The people who control the GOP also control the Democrats. They don’t care which party wins, they just care whether they control the candidate.

Donald Trump is someone capable of killing the Republican Party if they let him splinter off. The Whig Party died under rather similar circumstances.

In the “best” case, the GOP loses the presidency if even a small minority of their hardcore lifelong Republicans vote for a third party Trump.

Which Whig-turned-Republican killed off the Whigs? They died a long, slow death by asphyxiation because they didn’t man-up and choose a position on slavery.

Our two party system is much different now. They each have become adept at transformation to the point where the parties change but the names don’t. Compare the Democrats of the 1960s (or the 1860s!) to the Democrats today.

The GOP cucks will be chucked before a Trump (or Perot or Buchanan) leads them into a viable replacement party. You have to understand what the cuckservative is. He is nothing if not pliant. When the “base” bangs his wife, he will happily lick the cum off of her tits. They have no ideology, nothing to kill or die for. Just survival, like the slaves they are.

What’s most humiliating is the faggotry under which they have debased themselves: sexual deviants, supercilious bureaucrats, gay clerics, cronyist hacks, and SWPL NAM-worshipers.

If he does half of what he has promised, it is a win. If he rolls over and becomes 100% establishment, it is no loss, because that is what would happen anyway. And until we find out either way, the entertainment value alone is worth every second of airtime he gets.

So again, who cares if he is an insider.

Yes! Game works. It works so well that you should apply it generally in your life — in politics, at work, in social settings, with your family. “The meaning of life is still to fuck” is teenage nostalgia.

Men of the millennium have forgotten how to fight, at least in the west. Game reacquaints a man with his natural aggressive urge and proves it through victories over the opposite sex. To leverage game into power, a man must graduate past adolescent goals and stop thinking so provincially.

Trump is doing exactly that. He is applying the methods he found successful in business and entertainment (and, off to the side, women) to politics. He is not “dancing with the one what brung him” the way eternal PUA bachelors are, he is testing new frontiers.

I wouldn’t give Trump as much credit as people are giving him for his game, specifically in the women department. CH is always talking about his gorgeous women, etc etc. Yes, he has some “game” (as demonstrated in this article) but his women aren’t impressive to me. I just read an article today about how he once showered Princess Diana with flowers and she viewed him as creepy. His current wife is hot, sure, but I don’t think she was ever a top model who was part of the likes of the Victoria Secret bunch.

If I was betting I’d say his moves with women are average at best.

And in this week’s example of what not to do. Buzzfeed sent a reporter with no game to an “elite” tinder beach party. You’ll never guess what happened next.

After a bit of settling in, I spotted The League’s founder, Amanda Bradford, and left my newfound media friends to go chat. I sat on the rim of a couch and introduced myself: “Hey! My name is Brett — thanks for throwing this whole thing! I’d love to chat about the event and app if you have a second!” I was met with a preoccupied mumble and her turning toward the other people sitting beside her.
Well, maybe she was just talking with someone, I’ll sit for a bit, I gathered. I sat there for a solid couple of minutes like an awkward goober, thinking she was just finishing up a conversation, until she got up and walked away.

Just 20 minutes or so after my initial awkward exchange, I ran into The League’s community manager, Meredith. I had actually matched with her during my brief experience using the app. We’d had a few friendly and fun exchanges for a few days, which soon fizzled out when she cut off conversation and stopped responding. Ghosting’s not a fun reality of modern online dating, but it’s an all too common occurrence many of us have experienced.

This simple statement is closer to the truth than a hundred conservative pundits’ freakout columns put together.

The demos (and their apologists) is emphatically not made of winners — almost by definition. Do you find more than one-in-ten winning people in your encounters with the general population?

The solution is an end to democracy and a restriction of the franchise. We have something like that now, except the left has installed losers/whiners/victims at the top.

But the prerequisite for that solution is for the 10% to lead the massive middle in a direction that will stabilize the republic but not redound to their individual benefit immediately. If that sounds hard in today’s west it is because we have been bereft of leadership for generations — probably since World War II.

God in Heaven it would be some cosmic justice of Irony if the DEM candidate won 100% of both the SWPL-tariat and the Chamber of Commerce Establishmentarian Traitor Class, but Trump won enough muds and coals and mystery meats to defeat them.

Yesterday at a coffee shop (not jewbucks; I will never give them a dime) with my kids I saw a beautiful MILF with two beautiful blue eyed children and a nerdy looking but fit white husband.

Standing next to her, I reached to get one of those cardboard rings that protect one’s hand from the hot paper cup. I offered one to her with strong eye contact and slow, deep talking. She said “thank you so very kind of you” in the most enchanting, feminine, un-American lawyer cunt way. I am hard of hearing but I noticed a wonderful British accent. I asked her if she was Australian; it was not a London accent nor Scottish. Turns out she is South African.

My immediate thought was how beautiful women and families like her are in danger in South Africa since chimp out became official policy. I wanted to go talk to her husband to let him know that “americans” are not our government.

Here’s a bit of game I’ve been thinking about: People assume that guys like Trump date models because they’re rich.

    I don’t think so.

I think what makes them rich also enables them to date models. We’re confusing correlation with causation.

I think a great many rich and powerful men date models (as Trump has) because they exude high masculine and alpha characteristics. They’re charismatic and have a high degree of sexual magnetism.

These same traits also allow them to be top predators not just in the sexual marketplace, but in the business world as well, enabling them to be top earners.

We, at a distance, then confuse their money as being the cause of their arm candy, when truly the money and arm candy are equals and are both attracted to these men because of the force of power they radiate.

Depends on the dude, but I generally disagree.

Many dudes become obsessed with (and very good at) getting money and fame precisely because they are so horrible with women. Think of it as incentivizing: guys who have great game aren’t going to be motivated to go out and become the top CEO or actor or rapper or whatever to pick up chicks; they’re already getting laid. Think of Scott Baio: by all accounts, he was one of the smoothest men in Hollywood for decades, and bedded women with ease, and yet he was never more than a 2nd-tier celebrity (and usually 3rd tier). He probably had no motivation to get higher because, after all, he could bang Pam Anderson and Nicole Eggert in their primes while being completely unemployed.

I think of the stereotypical Mideastern/Indian immigrant dude who makes good in this country, obsessed with his status symbols: the BMW, the Johnny Walker Black/Blue, the name-brand clothes. These guys are horrible with women as a rule, and so channel their failure into money and career-status, thinking that is the key to getting women.

This is also why I think the majority of straight Hollywood male celebrities have done gay sex to further their career; these guys were so horrible with women, they became obsessed with becoming movie stars or music stars just to get the groupies, and thus would be willing to do anything—even suck another gay studio exec or record exec off—-to get there. It shows when you see such celebrities hitting on women: their game is horrible beta. Kayne West is laughably bad in his interactions with women, and spergs like Matt Damon or supposedly “cool” dudes like Chris Pine come off bad as well. They seem like they need their fame just to have anyone take them seriously, man or woman.

Now, there are a few dudes who are personally alpha who do also have success as actors or CEOs or musicians or what have you. For example, I’d say Jack Nicholson is a dude who is both personally alpha and also alpha in his career; he goes down as one of the top 5 movie actors of all time. And yet his persona is also of the dude who can hit on a girl 1/6th his age and get her, even if he were a nobody. Maybe it’s all insecurity for him from his looking like a creepy store clerk from the 1940s, but his personality would get him laid even if he weren’t a legend.

tl; dr; different kinds of alpha rape!

However, there are a lot of ways to make a living, plenty of ways to get rich, but not so many of those ways hone the man who wants to bone. Salesmen and dealmakers – it’s no coincidence that guys in these roles are good with women. The art of salesmanship seems awfully similar to the art of seduction.

“No taking care of you”! What kind of republic would we have without a sugar daddy president whose mentality is to try to take care of us? How would we cope?

You are confusing the solipsistic sociopathic gibmedat mentality with alpha leadership, perhaps because that kind of beneficent strength is not just rare in our culture but actively resented by the loudest menstruating segment of the population.

The old-fashioned genius of our checks and balances was to pit strength against strength, ambition against ambition. We could stand to have an energetic executive because, when properly functioning, the system limits him to one-third of the governing power (at best — the strongest branch was to be the deliberative one).

So the solution isn’t to place beta whipping boys in positions of high power. The solution is to counterbalance them with alphas in every branch. McConnell, Boner = not alpha.

Our politics is a shitshow because we suffer from a distinct dearth of leadership, not an overabundance.

And you’re saying the liberals will take care of you? Like they took care of blacks? All people are “what have you done for me lately.”

The reason why women and homosexuals have attained a lot is because there is a significant number of them who are connected, well-organized, educated and upper class. They also have significant buying power.

The truth is, more people want an alpha male for President because now the U.S. needs one. The tax base is shrinking, costs are rising and we are borrowing too much. We are going to wind up like Greece and even worse. The only reason why we haven’t wound up like Greece yet is because we can still print our own currency and issue our own debt without relying on a central bank.

We need someone who can increase revenue, decrease costs and tell people to get it right or they will become irrelevant. We need someone who can tell people what they need to hear, not what they want to hear.

In short, we are going to need an alpha male because we no longer have the affluence to support the omegas.

Four out of 5 U.S. adults struggle with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives, a sign of deteriorating economic security and an elusive American dream.

Survey data exclusive to The Associated Press points to an increasingly globalized U.S. economy, the widening gap between rich and poor, and the loss of good-paying manufacturing jobs as reasons for the trend.

Hardship is particularly growing among whites, based on several measures. Pessimism among that racial group about their families’ economic futures has climbed to the highest point since at least 1987. In the most recent AP-GfK poll, 63% of whites called the economy “poor.”

When hardship grows among the largest and most prosperous group, you know the nation is in trouble.

I remember Al Sharpton once stated: “When white people catch a cold, black people catch pneumonia.”

Well, a lot of white people are catching colds and even pneumonia.

“…you don’t want an Alpha male for president.”

Yes you do. While morality is separate for being an alpha male (and hence your argument is just a vile attack), how a beta is going to defend the interests of his country when he lets others walk over him? How a beta is going to lead a country, specially through a crisis?

Yes you want an Alpha. One with skin (daughters, grandkids) and wealth easily seized by a vast, seething Mestizo majority. Along with come to think of it what little I’ve got. Trump is aligned with me — neither wants our stuff seized. Gates stuff is financial instruments traded around the world. He doesn’t care. Trump btw as third party could win with 75% of the White vote. This is not 1992, with a White Majority America. People wrote off Syriza until they won.

Italy put an alpha male in charge – Berlusconi – and it has been an unmitigated disaster. On the other hand Bill Clinton was OK. Dubya was actually pretty Alpha but didn’t give a shit about details, like a lot of Alphas, and was a horrible President. You could make a case that the two most effective leaders of industrial nations over the past 50 years were both fairly manly detail oriented women – Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel.

Someone on Unz.com — I think on Sailer’s site — made a distinction between rootless billionaires and rooted billionaires. Trump, with plenty of real estate investments in the US, is a rooted billionaire. That makes him an economic nationalist. It’s a theme in his public statements going back decades.

Media baron Rupert Murdoch, on the other hand, is more of a rootless, cosmopolitan billionaire. All for unrestricted trade and immigration. His nation is whoever attends Davos.

As for what’s in it for Trump, that reminds me of an old joke about him, going back at least 20 years. Trump is alone in an elevator in the Trump Tower, and a beautiful woman gets in. She says, “You know, I could hit the stop button, and get on my knees and give you the best blow job of your life”. Trump says, “What’s in it for me?”

I saw a psychological experiment, where a guy would go pour a cup of coffee from a pot labeled “for employees only” and then interviewed one of the volunteers as if he was a volunteer. If he only poured the disallowed coffee for himself, people rated him as assertive but not likeable. If he poured coffee for the volunteer too, his approval went way up. They wanted the coffee but didn’t want the risk of acting out. Moral of the story: An Alpha Male can be a beloved leader, but he has to prove he can be an asshole on everyone else’s behalf.
With Trump, the question is the degree of his self awareness in his assholery.

Donald Trump has inspired more people in this nomination session that I can remember since the buzz that surrounded Bill Clinton in 1992, when he went on Arsenio Hall playing the saxophone and left Bush Snr. in the shit.
America is in serious trouble and the problem is as much cultural and emotional as it might be economic. Recently Prince Hope’n’Change announced his intention to reform the prison system of the US. It mightn’t be anything to do with …

    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/crime-and-law/courts/high-court/court-refuses-us-order-to-extradite-irish-citizen-1.2221320

When the US President is defied by a High Court judge in a windswept, isolated republic off the arse edge of Europe with a population of less than four million, then something is wrong. (By the way, Trump loves Ireland and the people. So he should, he’s bought enough of our west-coast golf resorts.) When Ireland condemns the United States of America for inflicting “cruel and unusual” punishment, it shows that the justice system has become corrupted. Justice must not be about vested interest, it must be about making society better and safer. (By the way, Ireland has a constitutional ban on the death penalty and on having guns. Ireland has the strictest gun control anywhere.)
The ascent of Trump is unique and unprecedented because, for the first time, the mainstream media is completely at odds with what is happening on the ground. Furthermore, at this moment in time, it seems that Hillary Clinton is vanishing in smoke (it would be so interesting to read what those emails really say.)
    When interviewed, Trump is always:-
    (1) unrelentingly cruel to the pompous;
    (2) unrelentingly civil to ordinary people;
    (3) relevant;
    (4) articulate;
    (5) clear and simple.
The Democrat media led image of Trump as clown / buffoon / idiot/ fascist simply does not hold and ordinary people (you know, the voters) can tell this. America must not be let collapse, it is as simple as that.

i usually try to stay out of the political stuff, but your position on this indicates that you don’t seem to understand basic game concepts…

Trump will win…if he continues to run through the election…bc at some point almost every girl in america will be voting for him and all of their beta orbiters will too…

the ‘left’, which includes girls and those sucking up to them (betas), don’t make decisions based on logic…or what’s in their longer term best interests (see immigration as an example)… they only go by their ‘feels’…that’s why they ride the carousel and/or divorce their beta husbands when they are not haaaaapy…it makes them feel good so they do it/advocate for it…this is also why their policy positions are killing this country…

what you are seeing in the media right now is a nation-wide shit test of Trump’s alpha chops…and he is SMASHING those tests…lol…

at some point soon you will see the switch from testing to tingles (although it may take longer bc of the top down msm decision making)…then the girls will start to be vocal about how ‘great’ Trump is (which will also be shit tests at their beta orbiters…lol)…then the betas will join in bc they will be white knighting and supplicating…they won’t really want to, but they will be trying to get in good with their girls…lol…and bc every one of those girls will believe they are special snow flakes, whose vote couldn’t really matter in the overall outcome (that’s what their hamster will be telling them…to make it ok for them to ‘cheat’ on the democrats…lol) and the betas will vote for him bc they are logical and consistent (basic beta qualities) and they have told their girls that’s what they will do, so they will…

so, Trump wins by a land slide…lol…even with their voter fraud, the democrats (and republicans if they choose to self destruct some more) won’t be able to pull it around…

just read more of the archives here to understand this better…

      good luck.

Oh and another thing – Trump ardently supports Israel (good man Donald).
If you want to see the worst collection of beta / omega fleabag politically correct hipster losers in Ireland, just attend a “pro-Palestine” march.
Ireland has a particularly maddening problem with Israel, the only free society in the middle east.

I was talking to a stinking bearded early 20-something when he was boasting about “breaking into Gaza”.

Me:- “how’d you get into Gaza?”

He:- “hey, like, what do you mean, dude?”

Me;- “what the fuck do you think I mean?”

He;- “yeah, like, we went on the flotilla.”

Me;- “oh, right. You landed upon the Gaza coast in a flotilla?”

    He:- “yeah, right, cool”

    Me:- “who escorted you in?”

    He:- “the soldiers”

    Me:- “whose?”

    He:- “you know, the Zionists”

Me:- “right. When are you bringing essential goods to North Korea because I gather than they fucking need it worse than in Hamastan.”

He:- “what’s that got to do with anything?”

Me:- “you were able to visit Gaza because the Israeli Defence Force chose to let you in, with your humanitarian aid. Try it in North Korea and you will be blown to bits or, worse, put in a gulag for fifty years”.

I support Israel. So does Trump. Israel wins. So does Trump.

Israel won in 1948, it won in 1967 and it won in 1973. The Arabs won in – never. The Arabs lost every effort of their to destroy Israel but, even more cringingly beta, they live in continuous denial about their never-ending failure politically, economically and socially. And even worse than that, the infrastructure of the West Bank and Gaza Strip relies upon Israel to survive – because how much fucking help do they get from Egypt or Jordan?

Where do wealthy sick Arabs go to hospital????

    Tel Aviv.

    There you have it.

      On the contrary…

In a hundred years or so, somebody (probably a Chinese academic) will set out to finally write the relatively short history of The Rise and Fall of the USA. If honest, he will credit its rise, in large part, to the fact that it’s Laws, Governance and Institutions were created and established by some of the most incredibly capable and audacious Men humanity has ever produced – English Pioneers.

And that it’s fall was due, in large part, to a small scull capped wearing sub-tribe of arabs, that were foolishly allowed to infiltrate and subvert those very same Laws, Governances and Institutions, for the self interest of a tiny insignificant middle-eastern country on the southeastern corner of the Mediterranean.

Our greatest Presidents were not successful businessmen or cads. Expect a Trump presidency to be characterized by domestic overreach, embarrassment on the international stage, and corruption in the upper levels of the bureaucracy.

In business, taking a position, pushing forward with as much irrational confidence as you can, and riding the wave either into incredible success or the bankruptcy court is the way to go; Trump has done an exemplary job of following this strategy. A sovereign who approaches governing a nation state in this manner will find only ruin, and if Trump gets into the office, he will find himself forced to either accept new positions at the cost of his supporters and his image; or stick to them and lose his supporters when the consequences begin to show.

This election will be a wild ride for sure, but if Trump is the best America can do, we will fail, and fail badly.

The best a country can do will never be those in office; they’ll always be after other, rather prescient, things more, more concealed. Trump makes a fine candidate in this present national and global climate.

Hill-dog would be Amygdala Hijacked by Trump. Remember her outburst of “What difference does it make!?!” That was a result of Trey Gowdy being dismissive and talking down to her. He’s a medium level Alpha type, and he got her yelling on the Congressional Floor. Trump would make her pass out.

She has a very specific weakness, that being when men talk down and dismissively of her. This came from when she was a child and her father treated her dismissively and spoke down to her. It literally Triggers her.

And how exactly does Trump address people he doesn’t like? Talks down to them and treats them dismissively. A debate between them would be spectacularly bad for Hill-dog.

In terms of actual accomplishments and managerial experience, he’s probably slightly less qualified than Lynn Tilton, as the present-day USA is less of a luxe property and more of a distressed asset, but otherwise, their career tracks are fairly similar so it’s an apt comparison.

That said, Lynn is completely tone-deaf when it comes to building a mass media messaging strategy, and as many commentators have pointed out, Trump’s messaging is excellent.

That alone is remarkable; who else in the 21st century has shown himself so invulnerable to their witchhuntery? Billionaires and celebrities and Nobel prize winners have been felled! yet Trump doesn’t even break a sweat.

You don’t suppose he spent all those years actually training for this moment? That would require a future-oriented outlook on a truly epic scale. Now I’m wondering whether Reagan used his Hollywood career to train for politics. And then I’m wondering whether Reagan might have given Trump that advice way back in the 1980s: Sharpen your acting chops.

They rage because they cannot accept everything they have been told is a lie – be good boys, work hard, follow rules, don’t fight etc etc etc.

Eric Striker at Trad Youth made a good observation a while back. Striker is convinced that Trump as a rich WASP from New York knows that Jews are a destructive force whether he openly says it or not. Striker thinks Trump will confront Jews if he wins. And just today, Trump made comments about Ukraine, Russia, Iraq and Putin that are sure to make the neocons stroke out. It might explain why McCain and that switch hitter Lindsey Graham are so virulently anti-Trump. McCain and especially Graham are close proxies for the views of that side of the Jewish politics.

In my university there was a guy who basically ran as a clown…challenging all the usual, staid conservative, typical student presidential platforms. He was so outrageous that he gained momentum—a kind of GBFM type. I voted for him just because I wanted to see how far he could go and what he would do in the face of the university administration and the other candidates were just so blah.

He won. Turned out the whole clown act, the bluster, the situational comedy was all part of his plan to disrupt the campaign. When he got in he turned out to be quite a decent university student president, not a crazy clown at all.

So perhaps this whole “act” is just part of Trump’s strategy to disrupt the campaign. if he ever did win or got close, he’d make an interesting Vice President, or Secretary of Commerce. President? Not sure.

Not to nitpick, but there are two types of anchoring: NLP type anchoring and the anchoring heuristic. The anchoring heuristic uses a number so that when people think of a value, it is closer to the “anchor” number. NLP anchoring is a sort of Pavlovian trigger. I think that article you are referring to might be using the idea of anchoring in the heuristic way not the NLP way. See http://www.covertcommunications.com/nlp-anchoring-vs-the-anchoring-heuristic/

Look how pathetic Walker sounds trying to reason with the unreasonable. Imagine Walker said my reframe to this guy, then ended with “Someone get this scum out of my face”. The crowd would go nuts.

So the real Scott Adams finally comes out. It came out once before, though. People forget, but back in 2011 he wrote a totally ballsy anti-feminist post, but the blowback was so bad he deleted it.

However, it still lives on (see link below). Maybe realizing he can’t wipe out his own history forced him to be more himself. These are his words:

“The reality is that women are treated differently by society for exactly the same reason that children and the mentally handicapped are treated differently. It’s just easier this way for everyone. You don’t argue with a four-year old about why he shouldn’t eat candy for dinner. You don’t punch a mentally handicapped guy even if he punches you first. And you don’t argue when a women tells you she’s only making 80 cents to your dollar. It’s the path of least resistance. You save your energy for more important battles.”

Scott Adams’ 2001 anti-feminist blog post.
