Anyhow, as details have leaked past the Hivemind information bottleneck, it’s become apparent to anyone who isn’t a robotic, race creationsist leftoid that the kid was doing the bidding of his white-hating black muslim family. The “clock” was deliberately mocked-up to resemble a suitcase bomb and frighten White authorities, who would react in the appropriate way (and according to Texas law which explicitly forbids bringing objects to school that look like jihadi weapons of area-wide destruction).
The oh-so-innocent Ahmed’s darling parents are lined up behind him in faux outrage, delivering speeches to the media that sound like they were scripted by a team of Alinskyte shock-troop Eskimos.

When I first heard about Ahmed, the kid who made the news for his “bomb” clock project, I took his side. I played with discrete electronics as a kid. I built breadboards, I soldered, and I experimented with early robotics… In this STEM obsessed educational system, why couldn’t the school officials quickly dismiss this scare as a science project? Why did this make the news? I just didn’t get it… and then I saw a picture of the clock.

Anyone with an understanding of electronics will immediately see this “homemade clock” is not the tinkering of a child or teen. It was never Ahmed’s idea to begin with. This isn’t some innocent science project. The picture of the clock exposes the lie. Ahmed did not lovingly patch together IC chips and resistors, as the media would like you to believe. What you see is the guts from a manufactured digital clock, right down to the 9 volt memory backup, and the prefab button board. Absolutely nothing was made. It’s the equivalent of taking the plastic surround off of your TV and claiming you “made” a TV.
Look at the case itself. CNN calls it a “pencil case.” Please. The whole package is vaguely sinister, and it’s intentional. Notice the nondescript packet of unidentified white powder. See that nice dent in the side? I wonder if you could stash plastic explosives behind that huge LED. Why is the lining so bumpy? Look at the shoddy taping and the twisted wire used to close the case. It’s almost as if someone designed this clock to look like a questionable object.
Again, from CNN: “”I built a clock to impress my teacher but when I showed it to her, she thought it was a threat to her,” Ahmed told reporters Wednesday.” It was really sad that she took the wrong impression of it.””

The “from anyone” mentality is destructive to the very concept of “ordered liberty” because they (and you) have placed the cohesiveness of their identity above the principles of law and freedom.
We already tried it that way. And we have been unmanned and humiliated for it. Going back to that well is like wanting the first mission to Mars to “look like America” — as long as their just as qualified, why not have a black woman be the first person to step on another planet? We have to show we are not the dupes they count on us to be, and you can only achieve that by eliminating every shred of their influence from our thinking. Sometimes they want us to notice race. Someone with his national exposure could bring this to a head, esp. with the analysis above — if someone brought a black, plastic gun to school, officials would certainly be justified in confiscating it. Its fakeness would have nothing to do with the precautions taken. I’m sure parents would rather an official take away a black, plastic gun than let it in, thinking we’re not allowing freedom of speech or something (say, if part of a government civics class project).

They always channel the five minutes of hate onto a specific target when they can, so this time its probably because they know they couldn’t get away with it.
Call me crazy, but I think the “target” for this diversity bomb was his white male engineering teacher, but that guy didn’t fall for the bait, a female english teacher did later in the day. Its only good for the narrative to call out white men. The english teacher was spared because she’s a woman, and possibly non-white herself.

Some people I work with saw this when it made its round in the tech news and began mocking the justice system in america and kept mentioning that the boy was muslim. I went home later and thought about it and then began to wonder if I could just make a clock that looks like a bomb too and bring it to the school, why don’t we all do that… for Science! Well, it turns out the justice system there was probably doing the smart thing… I hate social justice warriors. Even if it turns out this was completely innocent, wouldn’t most normal people have the foresight to know that a clock is the most questionable of things one could make?

Reminds me back in the early 70s when a friend made a smoke-bomb out of match heads, sulfur, and salt-peter packed into a coke can with an ominous long fuse. I carried it to school and ignited it in the restroom. The thing was like a jet engine blasting black smoke on to the ceiling and it soon engulfed the school. Later the local police carried away the burned-out “device”. My friend also made a fake dynamite bomb with wooden dowels wrapped in red wax paper and an alarm clock which he put in some girl’s locker. In another incident he took down a stop sign and painted it green with the word “GO” on it. Thanks to all this terrorism stuff white kids just can’t have harmless pranks anymore.

Lawyers and other hacks understand that STEM is the basis of greatness – it is why Obama will praise STEM while not himself, being a STEM grad, and not encouraging his kids to be STEM types, either.

What the kid did is pretty standard for those of us who played with electronics as kids. It’s nothing unusual and my immediate reaction is the kid cobbled together a clock from electronic junk and a case. Although at 14 he should be beyond that stage.
Whatever happened to the old USA where kids made their own toys based on what they saw on TV etc? making their own toy guns and swords and such. That would get a kid in deep trouble today.
On another note woodworkers will make grandfather clocks. They buy the working guts, they just make the case, but they all say they made the clock.
If his father or him were trying to troll the paranoia in this country well they were successful.
