@Erudite Knight, as a current military officer, I advise against joining the military. As you already noted, our society sucks, and is dominated by leftists. The military serves one purpose: to further the ends of the Evil Empire. Yes, there are great things about the West, but realize that you are also fighting for abortion, gay rights, welfare paychecks, feminism, furthering democracy in countries that aren’t fit to be such, and of course, saving Muslims (that’s modus operandi uno for our elites). I fully admit that I was a neo-con; I faithfully read NRO, was a huge fan of Buckley, and felt that no matter how bad things seemed, a savior resembling Reagan would burst forth and pull us back from the brink. Well, if you are reading this blog, you know that such things are complete bullshit. Don’t join. You want to fight? Join a gym.
The military today is the liberal’s social petri dish. Can’t get gay rights accepted in society at large? No problem! Tell the military to start integrating. Want it to appear that women can do everything a man can do? Tell the military to put women in combat roles (wave those changed standards under the rug). Require military members to be subjected to constant lecturing about rape culture and the need to get affirmative consent. The list is endless.

The answer is to do something really tough. For some, that means he military. For others, it’s working an oil rig for a year, for others still it’s moving halfway around the world and making a life out of nothing.
Every man needs to do something hard with their life, physically, emotionally, and mentally. For me it was the military. I chose a job that was way beyond me, I bit off WAY more than I could chew. But the experience of going through utter and total failure, picking myself back up, and going on to be a badass in a different community was unlike anything I’d ever experienced.
I ended up on submarines. I went from being a skinny nerd to being a pipe hitting mother humper.
This “trial by fire” for a man used to be built in, it was called growing up. Every kid worked on a farm, joined the army, or worked in dads shop doing shit work to support the poor family. Now, we are so rich that journey isn’t built in to every man’s development.

If you do an enlistment stint to buck the feminized society, do it as follows:
– Go into the Marines, or Army with a plan to go through Special Forces or Ranger selection process. Make sure your contract is exactly what you want it to be Recruiter’s words are worthless if it is not in the contract.
– Avoid support MOSs (military occupation). While you may pick up a useful trade or skill, they are packed to the gills with women/NAMs in the upper NCO ranks. It will be a toxic mix of cunt power and black/brown goofball nonsense. Go combat arms instead (ideally special forces or Rangers if you can do it, USMC or 11B/similar otherwise), as they are heavily White and as far as I know, still male-only. The only way to do it with pride.
– Disabuse yourself of any bullshit about defending democracy or protecting America. You are enlisting in order to do cool shit, learn weapons and tactics, experience some hardship and life lessons, and enjoy male camaraderie.

I would also point out that, unless you’re also already rather independently wealthy, training is very expensive and does not make up for actual experience; learning online or even via a training class taught by someone who “used to do it” is never quite as good as first-hand experience either.

I have to agree with that. It’s worthwhile to do for it’s own sake. It doesn’t mean you have to agree with every foreign policy decision the country makes. I accumulated lots of knowledge, adventure, and stories that I just wouldn’t have been able to have if not for the military. And of course it’s an automatic “man card.”
I would restrict yourself to the MOS”s that require high test scores to get in though. The quality of people you’ll be surrounded with will be infinitely better.

Lot of good replies here, but I’ll say this. If you go enlisted (best training) plan on packing as much into 4 years as possible (or 6, if that’s what’s required to get the contract you want) and after that GET OUT. Otherwise, plan on putting in your 20 and get that retirement. But, here’s the problem. That regular paycheck is like a security blanket and if you haven’t been making serious plans for separation a year in advance of your EAS, you’re easy meat for the career jammer. You sign on the dotted line and now it’s another 4 years and your 20’s will be almost gone when you finally get out.
Be in the best physical shape of your life when you go in. If you go Army (speaking as a former marine) then your first job is getting that Ranger tab. If you can’t shoot well, get some professional help. If you go the Marine route, put swimming on your list of things to be good at because you want a slot in recon. Battalion recon or force recon, force recon is better. That gets you jump and dive school, but work like hell to get a slot for sniper school.
Service schools are a world apart. If you are sent to a service school do everything in your power to graduate #1 in your class. You will be rewarded by being sent to other service schools, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s NCO school, squad leader school, the Platoon Sgt’s course, whatever. With some exceptions (USMC sniper school and WSSI school come to mind) they all have a serious element of chickenshit. Deal with it and take honors. Your performance reflects on the command and the command likes winners.
It’s said that the Marines preselect for sociopathy in general but sniper school seriously wants sociopaths. You must be able to shoot and they’ll teach you stalking skills, but a shot from 700 yards means you’ve already re-acquired sight picture before the bullet hits. That doesn’t happen with iron sights (target isn’t on the same focal plane with the sights) so unless it’s up close and personal you never see the guy you shoot get hit. I don’t know what it’s called now but we called it “playing God.”
The ultimate job in the Marines is to go the sniper route and get a shot at competing in the division matches. If you place high enough you’ll get picked up by the division MTU (Marksmanship Training Unit) and after that you teach classes occasionally, spend a lot of time at the range shooting and traveling around to competitions shooting. If you come out of that double distinguished, you get your pick of training jobs and/or swat assignments in any major police force. Or, you can go the contractor route and get high-paying work overseas and rack up a bodycount (if that’s what floats your boat). I can’t speak from experience WRT the Army, but as far as the Marine Corps goes, serious shooters get serious respect as force multipliers.
Be better than anyone else around you in every area. Sooner or later you’ll find yourself in a unit of equals (your command will go out of their way to get rid of you until you “fit in”). I had a company commander (line company FMF) who made it a point to walk up to me and say “Fuck you Toad” every chance he had. When asked why he did that his response was “somebody has to. It was self defense on his part because I intimidated all his junior officers. I was told my record book “reads like a novel” and it has two back-to-back letters from two different commanding generals, the first one saying I’m a piece of shit that needs to be flushed and the second saying I walk on water and need to be cloned.
Bottom line: Don’t be like me. You’ll find that if you stand head and shoulders above everyone else, you can get away with all kinds of stuff. Part of it has to do with longevity, the longer you’re in a unit the more likely people will get used to your antics and overlook the violations. The problem is you have to keep coming up with new stuff and whatever it is, you have to be totally over the top and outrageous. I ran a PFT once in boots and utes with a 30 pound pack, wearing a gas mask and still did the 3 miles in under 18 minutes (beating all the officers except one).
The real problem is once you become a “character” everybody expects you to do totally outrageous stuff and it’s a lot of work with coming up with new ideas and the planning and all, but you have to keep in mind that the anklebiters are always waiting for you to screw up. It doesn’t really translate to the civilian world unless you’re planning on being a business owner.

Erudite Knight – best thing to do is have a plan. Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken” haunts all of us all our lives. This forum is great to get game advice, but asking, “What should I do with my life?” is not the right question. Mountain top sages do not have that answer. You will have to choose, but I did the same thing on pursuing my master’s degree. They’ll never give you the crisp, pure answer that illuminates this mysterious shroud you put on military life. Research is good, so do ask. Sooner or later, you have to take the plunge.
Why people join – to improve their life story, no other job potentials, patriotism… in that order.
Most seek this “sniper life” goal. Don’t let Hollywood and a few wannabes geek you up. If you work hard at that, imagine what working hard at something meaningful will turn you into. New industries are emerging. The only advantage the military has is its “schools”, its regimen. You may come back to me and say, “I spent four year in college and nothing.” Well, did you jerk off and fuck around, or did you knuckle down? Plus, if you’re a professional soldier – what are you going to do when you’re done? Be security at a mall or some black market weapons dealer? Really, you have to get something out of your military specialty and ditch digger ain’t that great.
Plus, everyone you meet on day one will constantly change. Just because you join today doesn’t mean you’re locked in with all your buddies you meet at Lejeune. People are constantly cycling out. By the start of year 2, you’ll be with a lot of new people. So it’s probably not this constant that you’re subconsciously expecting.
Bit of back story, in 1997, thought about the Marines because I am proud of the American tradition but opted for college. I may have been out in 2001, but with the rights you LOSE as a soldier, I could have easily been called back in. It was the LOOOOONG reach into the future that the government has on soldiers that turned me off. Even if you serve 1 tour, your commitment is well beyond active duty. I’m saying, they can pull you out of your life for +8 years after your tour is done! September 11 2001 and my possible discharge date would have been very close and if you recall, they were sending National Guardsmen for tours over there. With the way Syria is developing, with Russia with boots on the ground, you just never know. Even in ’97, all that was going on was Bosnia and that was a clump of shit, too.

I don’t think Hillary, Jeb, or Donald will loose any sleep over you dead for some reason. Pretty sure Jimmy, Ronald, George, and Bill never much cared.
Your question makes you sound young. You’ll get a lot of cynicism, but it is not really that. It is just a better view of the world. Having known several Marines who did between 1 to 3 tours, yep, there is a lot of racism in the Marines (which I am guessing extends to the whole of the military with the Air Force seeming to be predominantly white, but I’m not sure.) Marine friend told be about Mexicans who enlist for American citizenship. One got a tattoo with “Brown Power” stretching his shoulder blades, flaunting it daily. This is not uncommon. So, a Cuban-American (technically white by the choose-your-ethnicity boxes we Americans tick on every job form) gets “White Power” on his back. The officers take him aside saying, he cannot do that. Is “Institutional Racism” the right term? Dunno, but you’ll get people who hate you just because. It is not some chummy brotherhood.
My advice – meet professionals in all sorts of careers. I got into a management track by accident. My advice, control your life. It’s hard because what you want and what you’re offered are often times conflicting. But the military – as a grunt – will only postpone your decision. In my opinion, the military is low hanging fruit that everyone can fall back on. If you are really young (between 18 – 24), take a little more time to think it through. If you land a shit job that pays $40K, the military doesn’t seem that bad. But, if you find a track to getting $80K, why would you opt for the army? Just to “Man Up”? If there is one thing this blog is about is manning up, which is 95% mental. That is the one key lesson to this website.
Maybe you need the time. The thing about making a plan is experience. Had I not gotten into management, I would have bumbled fucked even longer. My college advisers were shit heads. My classmates were equally devoid of knowing what came next. You need experience with role models that can inspire and guide you. Ask your folks to tap their network. Job shadow. Volunteer. Intern. Don’t be afraid to cold call some of the local small/medium sized businesses (ie – those with 5 – 50 for small and 200+ people for medium for rough calc). But find a mentor that will give you the insight you need to make good, meaningful decisions. Don’t be a cashier at a gas station. If you work a call center, understand what your progression looks like. Only you can push a career growing agenda. 99% of the time, no one else will.
If you are pretty young, take at least 1 year and travel through Europe. That is where I am now. Been here for 8 years and I’m from Wisconsin. Believe me, Wisconsin country side is beautiful, especially along the Mississippi River, but London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Munich, all of Italy, Warsaw, Prague… they’re all vibrant, amazing cities. It is fucking amazing in Europe. I’m not a beer snob, so this is not one of those rants, but once you start touring, seeing the positive and negatives of each country and its people, you will grow. If you join the army, see your country from another angle before you sign. YOU MUST! Europe makes me better understand America. It makes me proud and ashamed of history written and that being written today, but that’s another story.
I advise Europe, especially on this site, because of all the pride people claim about European ancestry. As an American, I have seen both coasts, the American capital and most state capitals. America is a great country. You need to travel it before you sign up so you know why men defended it before, and why you would defend it. But that’s all emotional BS. It is just beautiful… and it is yours – that is the pride of America that that vast majority never understand. When I was at the Grand Canyon 2 years ago, the most common language was German!!! Europe is different. It is not like-for-like an any way.
My advice on future steps – STEM. You want to have fun in a future career, plus be flexible to go back for a MBA, study STEM fields. You’ll get the training in hard sciences and then pick up the other stuff like accounting and marketing later. That good mathematical foundation will reward you later on in so many different fields. Then a management degree (MBA) will just help you take the next step when you’re about 31.
One last thing against the idea of the military – don’t be on the government’s dole. Making is masculine. Receiving is feminine.
If anyone has made it this far, I would be glad to exchange email addresses to advise anyone on European life. I stand by my word in that Europe has broadened my horizons. An extended stay would do that to anyone.

Years ago in one of the most conservative parts of this country, a mosque managed to establish a very impressive foothold. Who else hates, hates, hates getting off the highway in a small town to stop at the gas station; and it turns out to be an Indian or Muslim owned station? With gum and oil stains all over the pavement, trash bins overflowing, dead landscaping, no or dirty washer fluid and old or damaged squeegees, and inside it has a dank stale smell, shitty lighting, mismatched floor tiles, stinky bathrooms that haven’t been remodeled in decades, and the sales counter jammed with phone chargers, blunts, e-cigarette liquid, phone cards, and synthetic marijuana.
Then you go into a white gas station, it just seems like a different world, like going from the Third World to the First World. Everything is new, touch screens for made to order sandwiches and pizzas, and bakery case with fresh baked croissants brownies and cookies, walk in beer coolers, and LED lit drink coolers with every beverage imaginable. There is usually more than one register open, and all the sanitation issues I mentioned above are non-existent both inside and out.
How are these Indians and Muslims acquiring all these gas stations anyway? If it’s a profitable business, why aren’t Americans snapping them up? Do their home country governments fund them? Or will banks not loan to Americans for gas stations, and Indians/Muslims have access to a racist funding network open to them only?

I often wondered about that. Here in Europe, they’ve taken over the restaurant industry – and I don’t mean gourmet “ethnic” food. They sell curries and kebabs from dingy fast food outlets, doing much of their business when people are too drunk to know what they’re eating. Why? I suspect one reason is they have access to near-slave labour by people from their own countries (maybe this applies to the gas stations you’re talking about too). Also, I suspect they don’t give a shit about health/environmental regulations and the red tape that most people grapple with when they start a business.

Naveed, nobody is questioning the entrepreneurial spirit of Indians. However, whites are legendary with opening/operating businesses. Look at Chick-fil-A, or gas station franchises like Sheetz, Royal Farms or United Dairy Farmers. Compare them to Indian/Somali/Ethiopian run gas stations, subways, or 7-Elevens. The thing that confounds us is, if it is indeed a profitable business, why so many of these gas stations are being acquired by Indians/Muslims, and why those particular locations are so shabby and uninviting.

Gasoline retail is a small margin business. The people who have been in it longer and have more capital can build those convenience stores and retail complexes around selling gasoline. They are making the money from the food and everything else and using the gasoline to get people into the place.
Those who don’t have all that capital sell gasoline, minimize costs, and try to make a few bucks selling side items. These are the old stations that can’t be turned into these retail complexes, can’t have the retail floor space, etc for one reason or another.

No one is going to accuse them of racism if they hire only their own kind or run disruptive blacks off their property. To my knowledge, none of the bakeries has been sued over it.

If you’ve ever been through Central and Western Pennsylvania there is a chain of the most glorious gas stations ever, known as Sheetz. They are always clean, well stocked and have a very solid hot food and drink menu that is ordered via touchscreens.

The Wawa stores, which are in the Chesapeake region (southeast PA, DE, MD, and down the I-95 corridor in VA), are heavily White staffed and managed. Good deli subs and pleasant atmosphete. I highly recommend their pizza hoagie.

I have a friend who asked several of the Indian/Pak gas station owners until he found one that told him why there’s so many of them. They get low interest loans from the US gov. because they’re minorities. They get one loan then the rest of the family gets others. We’re paying them to take over the country.

Medical schools were constrained starting in the early 20th century to intentionally reduce the supply of doctors and drive prices up. What then happened is women were the first to be shut out of medical school because it was considered a waste for them to take the spot and then change course with children when a man could have it. When medical schools were more numerous it was more open to women. That bit of history won’t be appearing in the mainstream any time soon not only because it hurts the feminist narrative but strikes to the root of where the medical cartel began.

I have seen many arrogant Whites posturing, but you can tell that many of them are highly educated, wealthy, and/or of good genes. I guess, even though wrong, that would be called just arrogance. You do not see many uneducated Whites walking around like these Arabs, acting above their station. They may act like punks, and idiots, but not like posturing Arabs. A disturbing group, indeed. What race do they even fall under – Mongoloid? I would not consider them part of the Caucasian race, just as I do not believe many Sicilians are. More Turks are Caucasian than Sicilians, and I see a lot of uncouth arrogant traits in them, as well, from their Arab/North African blood. But, that’s another story.
I also notice really creepy behavior in southern Indians (you know, the ones from the lower castes, and the untouchables). They seem one step above wild monkeys, and all have those very dark ‘crazy eyes’.

This was sometime in 2005-2006. Can’t remember exactly. I was working in Palo Alto. Nice summer weekend day. Stanford had graduation. I was in downtown Palo Alto at a outdoor café. Arab family sits at nearby table. I could tell they were a-rabs, or at least muzzies by the way the women dressed of course, hajibs. The son, or so he seemed, had his cap and gown in hand. They needed an extra chair at their table. Son asked if he could have the extra I was not using from my table. I said no. He was shocked. But he didn’t try to take the chair.
I remember thinking, that filthy sand rigger is in my country going to a prestigious university, and I’m sure he and his ilk agreed with 911. And he got admittance over a White man I’m certain…
Secondly, when I was in college in the late 1980s, exam week. I had been up cramming and drinking jolt cola. Between exams I used the faculty bathroom by mistake. Chinee comes up to me and tells me I can’t use the bathroom in his broken pigeon English, I, who have ancestors who fought and died in the Revolutionary War, is telling me what bathroom I can use. I told him very loudly I was an American and would use any bathroom I gotdam pleased.

Thought I was safe watching an older (1972) movie yesterday, called “Chato’s Land” (with Charles Bronson), as I like the old Bronson movies (“Hard Times”, with bareknuckle street fighting, is a classic). However, this movie was virulently anti-White from beginning to end, starting with the shooting of the “redneck Sheriff” by the “half-breed Indian” Chato (Bronson). Hardly 5 minutes went by in the movie without some anti-White (pro-POC) message. And this was 1972, and the POZ was in full momentum even then. Amazing to see the world with red pill tinted glasses.

Experienced the same thing. A whole bunch of Indian/Pakis all walking abreast and taking up an entire 10ft wide paved trail. My dumb family dutifully made a single file and merged right, EXCEPT for me… I ran right into the idiot who expected me to move out of his way while he and his family blocked the way as if they owned the trail.
Stare them in the eye and force them to go around you.

I’ve had muslim neighbours for years, they ‘befriend’ the stupid and the naive to have someone on their side in case of trouble, other than that their hatred for anyone outside of their cult is demonstrated every day. Some whites just need to disappear before we can deal with the towelheads.
