Listening to Sean Hannity right now – I think he’s ready to leave the Roman Church over the Pope’s remarks today. I remember back during the Pederasty Scandal, Sean would tell his listeners how he had struggled with his decision to stay with the church, but tonight, I am hearing a deep & profound fury in his voice.

There are a few traditionalists left in the mainstream, apostate organization, but, believing that one has just gotta be in communion with whatever dude in a white cassock happens to be operating out of the Vatican Hill at the moment, they’ve spent the past 30 years inventing explanations for how manifest non-Catholics can nevertheless be popes, bishops, etc. of the Catholic Church.
In other words, the only thing that would disturb them, at this point, is if Francis came out and said: “By the power of Peter, I define ex cathedra that mass illegal immigration, sodomy and divorce are absolutely fabulous!” Even then, there’d be lots of wrangling about the meaning of “fabulous,” and whether the definition really met the criterion for infallibility. I pity them; they’re like people trying to pull folk out of the lifeboats while the Titanic is going down. “But the Titanic can’t sink!”
Our Lord promised that the Church would never fail, and that the primacy would never be abolished; He didn’t promise that the occupants of St. Peter’s Basilica would always be Catholics. The Church still exists, but is now reduced to a smattering of faithful who seem, in the eyes of the world, to have less credibility than the gay Marxists zooming around on hover-boards, running the Catholic brand into the ground (purposefully). Soon, the joke will be on them; but the rest of us had better shape up, as well, or the joke may well be on all of us.

My best friend is a successful businessman who pretty much agrees with me in private about race, immigration and he even supports Trump but he steadfastly is a loyal Catholic. I prodded him yesterday about the Trump-Francis fracas and while he supports Trump he says he continues to be loyal to the Church.
He’s an unusual duck, my friend. I recently rewatched the movie “The Doors” starring Val Kilmer and my friend reminds me of the way Jim Morrison was portrayed in the movie during our college years. Completely wild, uncntrollable but hilariously entertaining (and the center of attention), who would have thought he would become an executive of a major company?
And he is a pious Church family man who sired several children to boot.

There seem to be several popular euphemisms for people claiming to be Christians who aren’t.
I can’t abide
Churchians: Men who want all the benefits of a church membership with none of the moral obligations. Hypocrites.
Papists: Men who worship a man, or men, not a god. Gay.
Xtians: Men who give lip-service to the name of a god, but don’t believe. Scribes.
Cucktians/Cuckservatives: Men whose religion is self-abnegation, not service to a god. More often than not, such men also preach self-abnegation and live as gluttons. Pharisees.
Christian men are easy to identify. They seem a lot like the Christ of the Bible.
Here’s a question for the assembled. Is Trump a Christian? If he isn’t, does it matter among the field of candidates presented?

Caught some of Hannity’s radio show yesterday… he really was worked up over the Pope and very pro TRUMP. Not a Hannity fan but was on a long car ride so kinda stuck. Trump did great on the CNN Town Hall affair tonight (of course he was on last, behind Kasich and Bush, for higher ratings for the entire show). However, I will give him an A++ for the last 10 minutes. His ending was flawless. Very human and real, unlike the fake forced personal stories of the other candidates. He even stayed seated an let Anderson come to him (like the King in his throne) when it was over. Maintained his leadership frame. Damn…is he a natural or just a great learner! He manages to get all the little details right.
Bush, on the other hand, immediately got up and asked, meekly, “Is this the way off?”. What a weak pathetic loser Bush is.
That ending cinched SC for Trump. Trump will get 36% of the vote, at least. I am still hoping for the 42% that I prophesized a few days ago. Can’t stump the Trump.

I just got back from a meeting of the old guys drinking whiskey monthly book club. We always choose books about history because history is really always about the same thing – revealed human nature in action.
We have been doing this for years. Old oil guys, Old Docs, Old Eskimo oil guys and Docs, a few old Enron survivors (who saw the light and bailed in time… $$$).
Folks, in other words, who have some time on their hands to stop and think.
The book this month was about V. Putin.
It took several bottles getting gone, but we did come to a consensus about 2 things. First V. Putin is a thug. But then, that is his job. All leaders of Russia are thugs. I think it might be in the Bible somewhere.
Yet, he is onto something else: The re-masculinization of a nation that had lost its balls thru a period of humiliating collapse..back in the 90s.
It was I, your humble servant, who moved to seque the discussion over to how D. Trump is trying to do the same thing in this our own period of collapse.
They all tried to fill my glass and wanted to shake my hand.
Then we all got into helicopters and flew off to hunt feral hogs at night with high power low-light scopes and 420 round ammo boxes feeding our “modern sporting rifles…”
That last sentence begs for an explanation. There is a one word explanation: TEXAS.

The first thing one encounters when trying to dig into the background facts about V. Putin is that he does not want you to know them. He has always worked hard to hide everything about where he really came from. And, the system has undoubtedly had the same goal. On paper, he was never much more than a L. Colonel in the KGB before Yeltsin hand-picked him his successor. And the System had no comment or objection to his apparently sudden elevation.
11/12 of the oligarchs are indeed paid up members of the tribe. Always were. That includes the ones Putin has hammered on and imprisoned as well as the ones who still own soccer clubs and prime real estate in the UK and NYC.
I find this difficult to understand. One tends to think of Putin as a Russian patriot. Yet he pals around with oligarchs who have never even pretended to care for mother Russia. They do not spend much on charities at home.
I understand why they need him. I have less understanding of why he needs them.

Simple Rum – because when you are trying to renew a country you don’t over turn everything all at once. That idiocy has been tried multiple times and always ends up creating a replacement oligarchy that is as bad or worse than the one you got rid of. Acting in a consistent manner means that you get respect for being consistent and people will at least try to deal with you in that framework. Post-Reagan, US policy has been horribly inconsistent – which means friends and foes alike have to be wary (yes, first Gulf War was caused by inconsistent policy – tell Saddam one thing then change when it looks bad). With Putin being consistent even his enemies will do what he wants to some extent because they know they will be dealt with the same way as others if they toe the line. He “chums around with them” because their threat has been minimized – at least for now – and you show respect to those who give it.

3. Helped clothe and feed thousands of refugees when McCain’s buddy in Georgia started shelling unarmed citizens in Ossetia. Flew Americans to safety.
4. Fed and clothed over a million refugees fleeing ethnic cleansing from the new U.S. installed regime in Ukraine.

Don’t be a tool of MSM Douchebag…. Go to real Clear Politics and LOOK at the actual polls and the results. That NBC poll for example, was of only republican and Independent voters. SC is an open primary and dems can vote for a Republican candidate (and thereby forego a Democrat candidate vote – it’s not Chicongo – they only get 1 vote per live body in SC)…
FIVE polls have come out since that NBC poll and ALL are higher than the NBC poll…

Most interesting is the SC GOP poll which was of 4800 person sample size, the largest by orders of magnitude – TRUMP 34%, CRuz 18% abd RU-BO at 16%.

TRUMP will win SC and Nevada and have more than 50% of all delegate votes through IA, NH, SC and NV…
