One Glaring Difference Between Alpha Males And Beta Males

February 28, 2016 by CH

Alpha males are DEMANDING of their women.

They bark orders, issue commands, set expectations, and aren’t afraid to show disappointment if their expectations aren’t met. They will correct their women’s mistakes and rebuke errors of judgment firmly, sometimes fiercely, and without hesitation.

I was reminded of this everlasting reality of sexual market male hierarchy while overhearing a shitlord-esque man instruct his pretty girlfriend in proper dog-training technique. The two of them were at a park, working with their rambunctious mutt. It was her turn to extract obedience from the dog, and it wasn’t going well. At every misstep, her boyfriend would quickly intervene to tell her what she was doing wrong, and how she should do it right.

He wasn’t shy about chastising and correcting her, either. He came off like a drill sergeant, and an impatient know-it-all. I would say his demeanor was borderline asshole. Which means that she adored him. When they left, she playfully slapped his backside and giggled, presumably in anticipation of a later retribution.

Women WANT to work for a man’s interest. A man’s respect. A man’s LOVE. A man who challenges women is a man who is rewarded with women’s zeal to please. This is the nature of women.

And it is the nature of beta males to misunderstand the nature of women. Or, when they do understand it, to fear it and therefore fail to tame it. You will never see a beta male confidently, even impudently, demand anything — a norm of behavior, preferred treatment, effort towards a task — from a woman he is dating. He will never LEAD a woman. He will typically appease, and only make passive-aggressive demands of a woman when his fuse is short and his (self-)anger bubbling over.

Beta males don’t like to demand anything of anyone, but especially not of women. Strangers, acquaintances, girlfriends, wives; none will ever experience the distinctly female pleasure of deferring and submitting to a man if that man is a fearful, non-confrontational beta male. And over time resentment and contempt will find a home in these women, and their sexual desire will find a home elsewhere.

I hope that a beta male reading these words is saved today.

Betas are too giving of interest, respect, and love. This emotional wantonness (for lack of a better word) is correctly construed by women as an indicator of low SMV. Be sparing with your affection and respect; make her work for it.

I’d like to think that this hyper-meekness, really a su!cidal meekness, of the modern Beta, is a very new phenomenon. In my childhood, I can think of only one kid with an extremely quiet meek father – that father was a barber, and, in retrospect, possibly a closted s0d0mite? All of the other boys had exceptionally masculine fathers [by contrast with what I’m seeing out there now].

I honestly feel like the modern “Beta” is largely a product of the relentless “War Against Boys” and the ubiquitous cultural conditioning towards effeminacy in men. Even just the political talk about “good jobs” tends to persuade men to take up lives of Beta wage slavery, rather than starting their own businesses [which is what Alphas do].

more words of wisdom from the Captain

men, work for yourselves. decide for yourself the value of your life and your time. don’t blindly hand yourself over to some company’s mission statement. create your own mission statement. the system is designed to devalue your human life to the lowest possible level. signing up for (most) jobs is like suckling on an old woman’s tit. the security it offers is an illusion. the best security you can get is to be your own boss. and watch your nads grow as a result

if America ain’t workin for you it’s because it the constitution was written to help the go-getters. Let’s keep it that way dammit!

        > “Hence the abundance of college loan debt available, to ensure a life of wage slavery and docility.” ——— Back in the day, circa 10 or more years ago, Bill Bennett was kinda half-jokingly/half-seriously saying that he might be inclined to not pay for college, and instead hand his child all of that money to start a business. I wish he would have taken that theme and run with it. Certainly when you look at some of the debt figures for these worthless ***-studies degrees, the poor child will never be able to recover financially from that and start its own business. It will necessarily be a debt/wage/tax slave for its entire life.

Those degrees aren’t worthless for women and minorities. They’re their ticket to ride a gravy train with biscuit wheels. But if you’re a white man, you’d better have an advanced degree in fucking chemical engineering if you want to have a decent standard of living.

Then Ill have my own small business incubator for my family and invest 100k in them for starting a business instead of college…

The problem with betas is that they live of life of a self-fulfilling prophecy. They believe that by demanding things from women that they’ll lose her attraction from doing so, but due to that they DO lose her attraction.

“Answer with wisecracks and A&A. Don’t lapse into reason.”

This can’t be overemphasized. This entire mode of thought is one of the huge differences between alphas and betas. Betas are constantly trying to explain their thinking to women using logic. They always get heated when shit-tested or confronted by women, as though men were confronting them. They routinely treat women as cognitive equals in all arenas, but particularly psychologically. And that’s what fucks them up the worst.

My exact red pill moment was when I realized that I’d been treating young women as though they had an overly sensitive version of my male thought process, one that allowed them to follow a train of thought and respond favorably to a reasoned explanation of anything. This is a major fucking error. It is THE major error of every beta male. Assuming a woman thinks in more or less the same way you think. Once you learn that this is absolute bullshit, *everything* opens up because you’re suddenly able to actually hear the realtalk and can subsequently incorporate zfg theory into your approach. Everything makes sense if you’re guided by that as a first principle.

It’s better to think of a woman as a child or even a dog than as a more sensitive version of a grown man. Never take what they say seriously. Never defend yourself or your actions. Never explain yourself in detail. When a man explains himself logically to a woman there isn’t some moment in the woman’s mind where his explanation “clicks” and everything makes sense. He’s just fucking up his frame every time. Keeping shit light and fun and not taking a woman seriously will pay dividends in every aspect of the dating/relationship world.

When I first started doing this after learning game it felt awkward. That meant I was so used to doing things for girls that asking things…demanding things felt strange.

    Now key phrases/texts:

“Let’s met up” instead of “Are you free to meet up”

“I’m going to be at xxx tonight, join me/come out”

    “Let’s meet up…what’s your schedule?”

    “Dress nice.”

“Let’s go for drinks this week”.

Any response that doesn’t meet these demands or result in a counter-offer doesn’t get a response.

Start with “I want”, then add the connection “you to meet me at xxx”. Leadership and engagement. Setting expectations.

Be confident to express your wants explicitly.

“Let’s” is weaker than “I want”.

“I want to dance with you” is stronger than “Let’s dance.” “Will you dance with me” is implied. “Will you dance with me” is a compliance test.

Women want to be desired by hot men. Women perceive “I want” as an expression of desire and confidence. It’s a strong pull.

Compliance tests are the man’s version of shit tests. Compliance tests are a way to calibrate a woman’s investment and submission. If she fails too many compliance tests, she gets a lot less attention.

Mendo, that’s high praise from you. Thanks!

Lol, I crashed and burned a lot last night, but I learned an important lesson. I went to a bar that I normally hit on Friday. Sat. ain’t Fri. I went late and didn’t establish social proof by chatting up lots of people. The bouncers recognize me, but other people don’t know that. They have to be shown by chatting. I eventually danced with some semi-competent followers and established preselection and value, but it was too little, too late.

I left at midnight after being at the bar a couple of hours. I’m sure there were girls sorry to see me leave, but it was too late for me. I danced maybe five dances with high-value girls during that time. Meh, that’s a low point for me. The night before last, it was more like 20 dances with high-value girls and they gave IOIs all the time and low-value girls I danced with gave blatant IOIs like dancing very close with me. Massive contrast between Fri. and Sat. all because I didn’t allow enough time and I didn’t take the time to establish social proof.

Careful. “I want” comes off as needy in most contexts. Women don’t want to be desired by hot men as much as they want to work for and gradually win the desire of a hot man who has a lot of other hot women vying for his attention.

“We’re throwing down at club xxx tonight. Come thru” is how an alpha invites a woman to dance. He’s going clubbing and if you don’t join him he doesn’t give a fuck because there are other hot women there. At the same time he’s issuing a command, not asking. And by using “we’re” he lets in a subtle social proof. ‘I am popular. My friends and I have a good time. If you come out you’ll have a good time too.’

Overall your thinking is more or less on point. Having confidence and issuing strong statements is all to the good, but don’t prematurely give a woman the impression that you want her. Lots of guys want to do stuff with hot women, what’s different about you?

A caveat I’ll add is that if you’re actually in the club gaming a chick and say that with a cocky smile while taking her hand and leading her to the dance floor, that’s a solid move in the field. Wouldn’t text it tho.

I would have been more impressed if he told the interviewer that these sort of questions are old-hat inanity and immaterial, given the actual number of voters who might identify as so-called “White Supremacists”… ergo, “I kowtow to no MSM demands on who I should or shouldn’t disavow, because they’re merely brought up as PC distractions and rob air time from the real issues that have to be addressed.”

“It’s worth noting that Trump’s comments came one day after another Klan brawl, this time in Anaheim, Calif. Thirteen people were arrested and three were stabbed after a Klan rally turned violent. And it’s worth noting, too, as did Jonathan Chait at New York magazine, that Trump’s claim to “know nothing” about white supremacists echoes the language of the 19th-century “Know Nothing” party — a nativist group that supported only Protestants for public office.”

It was a bunch of blacks wearing robes that were in the video endorsing Trump – not real KKK members. The liberal media will stop at nothing to destroy the man they fear. It will get a lot dirtier before the establishment admits defeat. Let them try to smear him with their non-sense all they want – why should he care who supports him.

The blacks that support the slave traders of old (the Democrats) are the real Uncle Tom’s the ones that support Republicans are the ones that know history. And there are a lot of hard working Americans that are sick and tired of the establishment selling them out with their words – time to give a man that is action oriented the reins.

Jake Tapper, the CNN interviewer, has a Jewish father, a mother who is a Catholic convert to Judaism, was born and raised in NYC, identifies as Jewish, and most importantly for my analysis of this clip, he LOOKS very Jewish. Trump would know all that’s important of that. He’d feel it deeply.

I could be projecting, but I have the feeling from Trump’s expression in this clip, that he finds this interviewer repulsive. And for rational reasons: Tapper’s Jewishness, and that of the army of Jewish media behind these ‘gotcha, you racist’ efforts, has EVERYTHING to do with the character of the attack he must bat away.

My son’s 2 months old, and in no more than 4 years from now, he’ll be buying his own toys and ice creams with his own hard earned money. He’ll earn it from me, of course, by doing household chores and learning stuff. But earn it, he will.

    3. Cruz sold himself to Monsanto and the MIC. He won Iowa with the GMO corn support.
    4. Ash Carter, Philip Breedlove and Robert O. Work along with the men and women who serve them should be in jail for war crimes and trying to escalate a nuclear war.

@Sentient, I used to think women had a wealth of emotions too. Except for sadistic pleasure that might involve intrinsic emotion, women are vapid role players following a brain stem script. Women want men to express their ‘feelings’ to get to their true emotions, but feelings are messages of emotion, in a woman emotional pretence. The players’ game is played in shared feelings of communication but not shared emotions. I.e. women empathize but not sympathize. Any or almost any real emotions (an intrinsic eternal state) would impair a woman’s ability to role play with the responsive conviction of her total being, and so per evo psych it is clear she has few if any actual emotions. They have moods or modes of instinct, like the birds and pussy cats they are. DGAF does wonders with nexting female ’emotions’, sometimes with out leaving set.

I was dead serious… no joke. The only truth to a woman is emotion, you miss perhaps that SHE is the one interpreting the emotion. Only she. So she only has HER truth, which is in the moment… and never wrong in the moment…

“They have moods or modes of instinct, like the birds and pussy cats they are. ”

Yes – emotion is just the minds interpretation of chemical reactions.

we have all heard the old saying “a woman’s prerogative to change her mind”… Because… she has NO mind. It’s just burst of emotion, a hamsterized rationalization in real time, and the next burst of emotion…

that’s exactly right. it’s almost like flipping a switch how fast you can change her mood too. that can very bad or very good depending on how you play it. sometimes amazed how i can get her from pissed or sad to happy and loving in an instant just because of how i handled the situation. usually that means me acting as if her bad mood isn’t even happening and teasing or joking with her. it’s like she just needs me to give her permission to loosen up and realize everything isn’t so bad after all. pretty powerful stuff.

Lord Chesterfield to his son, circa 1748:

“Women, then, are only children of a larger growth; they have an entertaining tattle, and sometimes wit; but for solid reasoning, and good sense, I never knew in my life one that had it, or who reasoned or acted consequentially for four-and-twenty hours together. Some little passion or
humor always breaks upon their best resolutions.

    “Their beauty neglected or controverted,
their age increased, or their supposed understandings depreciated, instantly kindles their
little passions, and overturns any system of consequential conduct, that in their most
reasonable moments they might have been capable of forming.

“A man of sense only trifles with them, plays with them, humors and flatters them, as he does
with a sprightly forward child; but he neither consults them about, nor trusts them with
serious matters; though he often makes them believe that he does both; which is the thing in
the world that they are proud of; for they love mightily to be dabbling in business (which by
the way they always spoil); and being justly distrustful that men in general look upon them
in a trifling light, they almost adore that man who talks more seriously to them, and who
seems to consult and trust them; I say, who seems; for weak men really do, but wise ones only
    seem to do it.”

A great red pill article confirming the 80/20 rule and much more (who pointed it out? can’t remember): http://www.girlsaskguys.com/sexual-behavior/a22977-girls-on-tinder-do-smash-a-lot

I am a student in sexology and we did a research in sexual behavior on Tinder.
It’s something we can’t deny that it has a big impact on many people’s sex lives. We asked questions to 300 guys and 300 girls who use tinder about their sexual experiences. They were easy to find since it seems to be extremely popular with people from ages 18 to 35! Here are some results that surprised me.
    – Unlike I thought, 240 of the 300 girls actually had sex through tinder! Only less than 50 of the 300 men, which is remarkable.
    – When we asked for numbers to the people that did have sex: Girls did it on average less than the few guys that did. That means that a couple guys score with almost al the women.
    – These men do however show a lot of similarities: Muscular, well-endowed relaxed and (surprise!) a little beerbelly? The girls described the men’s attractive personal traids as “they know what they want and don’t hold back to take it.”
    – The opening lines that worked, were often extremely flat but to the point. One that seemed to work was just “wanna smash”.
    – It appears that these dates where sex was involved were mostly not related with hopes for relationships, just casual sex. The sex in most cases happened on a first date or even just immediately at someones place.
    – The terms that came up most to describe the sex were: emotionless, hard, wild, fast, fun, physical and although that wasn’t our question, doggystyle (lol). They rated their sexual encounters almost always as very good (other options were bad, mediocre, good). Many even said their best sexual experience is through tinder.
    – Neither girls nor guys regretted the sex afterwards, but almost all girls like to keep it a secret, or with very close friends. Many guys liked to share their stories in detail. (not so surprising maybe)
    – Something negative: Around 50 women admitted to have cheated through Tinder. Very few guys have. In almost all cases, the partner doesn’t have a clue.
    – Something positive: Almost everyone agreed that Tinder is a very positive influence on their sex lives.

Given my limitations, I still do well just opening girls randomly throughout the day. But competition is now too fierce to close without great effort, which dampens my will. Anything that arbitrarily expensive – my instinct would say if it spoke – is lying about itself. Like gold. Pretty and useless.

And then there’s nothing to talk about. I mean, there’s a world of stuff, but they don’t care about any of it. So you can’t talk about stuff, can’t be honest, can’t do this or that or the other.

Look at how the political now dominates this blog. Last year, I got all emo about it and left. Now I have put my finger on the real reason why the political has won out: not only Trump, not only current events, but concourse with women having reached an all-time height of arbitrary selection, we’ve reached the point of absolutely diminished returns. Even defined as pussy: what kind of stomach must a man have when all the girls have become outspoken players themselves?

Now this isn’t true if you’re Trav who is probably fucking all of our moms right this very minute. But it’s true for a majority of us, as the Tinder survey and the Darwinian logic behind it prove.

This is a massive white bottleneck we’re living through. And I don’t think I’ll make it. Do I want to? do you?

Uh, I can’t relate to the kinds of things you are talking about bro.

Look, I have really never been successful with quick pick-ups. So just saying. Now my situation is probably a lot different than yours. Now that I have empire at my HP I could bang some woman very quickly but have chosen not to for a variety of reasons. There are woman who come in on a regular basis with the hopes that I will ask them for their number. Some of my friends think these woman are hot, but they are older, say 30’s. Professional, drive luxury cars etc. Have gamed some as young as 19-20. I would like to think that the drug thing is not all the same everywhere but willing to be open minded.

Anyway some of this is about building social proof which is hard to do in a brief meeting. Also, don’t discount health as woman subconsciously look at how healthy a guy is. Go with the Ray Peat diet. One of my assets is being as bold as shit and not being ashamed of that.

      I tinder.

If shit doesn’t happen right away, it won’t ever happen. Had a chick up in Bodymore who sent me pics of her F tits, she was really interested acting on txt, we talked, etc. Flaked once for an afternoon meetup, and then shit just drizzled away. If you don’t get in their presence immediately, they’re gone. I txtd her about another meeting got what seemed like agreement, and I reiterated and heard nothing. Txtd her again 4 hours later and she responded with “jesus you’re needy.” That didn’t go over well with me.

AKA- she was probably a bang and not looking for much else. But she was 40 mi away, I’m not driving on the “hopes” of a fuck and RT to my house drunk. Wasn’t worth the effort.

And yes, it’s a few guys getting all the hoez. Girls aren’t on there for much more than penpals, if not that, then txt buddies, MAYBE they will meet. Those who are down will meet straight away.

Most of my tinder meets have been first-date bangs

And note how the Aryan chauffeur character early on was a bad guy with a drinking problem… easily shamed and walks away with his tail between his legs.

That movie was a fem’s wet dream, including the jab at stay-at-home moms being catty.

That movie might just have pegged, literally, every stereotype on the market… that is, the stereotypes that are ALLOWED.

All the white guys are feminine, overweight losers who worship hip-hop ghetto music from the magic couple of JayZ and Beyonce.

The lead femcunt is the most masculine character who leads an million dollar startup while being driven around by an old white guy that acts like a puppy dog seeking her attention.

They wrote in that the faggy husband is having an affair with another woman? Hilarious. Then he begs forgiveness from the femcunt and says she should have no guilt for ignoring her family for her rotten career.

Then the old man slave says she should put priority on her career and keep shitting on her beta male house-husband.

The list of feminist bullshit in that movie goes on and on. Was this written by Slate or Huffpo?

We’re over at the shelf and chatting.

    – I have four cats. (She’s 23 btw.)
    – Well, we’re not going back to your place.

Giggles, blushes, twirls and hides behind her hair.

I get in her line to check out. One of those stores where they ask for your number, she does, naturally I say “You should be writing this down.”

She does, and writes hers down, hands it to me. Overall this interaction was 10/10.

Media/establishment in last-gasp desperation mode pulling out the OMG-KKK card to try to stop Trump.

We all know Trump is not a WN (alas) but at least he had the presence of mind not to fall for the media’s demand for an on-the-spot denunciation of David a Duke or anyone else.

He could have spun it better. Imagine Clinton being confronted about violent black mobs, the Nation of Islam, or any other black hate group — she’d just say something like “our campaign is about blah blah blah and we want to improve the lives of blacks and blah blah blah … I want every vote because I want to make a positive difference in black lives blah blah blah”. Trump can do the same “I don’t have any idea what you’re talking about but it doesn’t matter – we need every vote to make this country great again … people are tired of seeing getting screwed over and this campaign is all about positive change and making this country great again blah blah blah …”

I fully expect tonight’s oscars to include some anti-Trump grandstanding.

Tuesday is the day — if Trump wins big (i.e. every state except Cruz’s home state of Texas) the nomination is all but certain. It will be an ugly two weeks until March 15 though.

Bet you didn’t see that one coming!

“And the plots have revolved, pointedly but never heavy-handedly, around the portrayal of minorities in mainstream media, and the struggles of immigrants chasing the American dream.”

Rather it’s more of a case that the Alpha has plenty of sexual market options. A woman know if she lets an Alpha male get away he’ll easily get another woman to replace her whereas if a Beta can’t get a woman’s attention then he probably be single for quite a while. The Alpha male has scarcity in his favour whereas the woman with a Beta male has scarcity in hers.

Alpha-Schmalpha. We can be any way we want with ours, for an indication how it IS in the wider world, all one needs is to look at the Oscars last night. A collection of White race-and-feminist cucks like I never saw. The sheer bowing and scraping by White men at the feet of the race hustlers and feminists was breathtaking. When THOSE men, the men at the top, sell their souls and gender down the road, just sit there and take it in the ass by Chris Rock, #BlackLivesMatter and the general feminist screed. White men in particular, as a gender, are doomed in again, the wider world.

Interesting also was Hillary’s speech following her 50% win over Sanders, quite “Alpha” in it’s own rite.Shrieking like the banshee-bitch-in-heat she is, she made grand, sweeping proclamations of the student loan forgiveness, health care, education opportunities, employment, race and gender barriers that will be knocked down, “ESPECIALLY FOR WOMEN!!” Follow with victory roar from the crowd, like the winning putt at the Masters for Arnold Palmer.

And the good little cuckold men of the Democrat Party cheered the loudest of all. By God, I didn’t think there was anything left to take. They already wear their men’s ball around their rear-view mirror. And they ain’t getting mine.

Jesus, CO, you hadda watch it to digest the full effect. The sheer empowerment and entitlement of that group of people is unbelievable. When you talk of the “other side”, Satanic culture, the resolute, abject rejection of God and morality, the vengeful secularization, it was all on full display. If it’s all as I think, the demons were dancing and Christ I hope, is PISSED. I’m as mainstream as Christ and I certainly am.

When the bubble goes up, I know what side I’m on. I knew it was bad out there, but the folks of this years’ Oscars really outdid, really exposed themselves. And it spreads exponentially across the land. And what’s to stop it besides a Return? I muse, but answers are never forthcoming. When I croak, I want answers..

If you think this “blows his chance” and it’s the first PURPORTED gaff of his, according to the Cathedral, you REALLY haven’t been paying attention and should just shut the fuck up on general principle. Many of your ilk have crowed about “major missteps” all along… yet Trump continues to grow in popularity and is proving even more teflon than Reagan.

        4. After crowing a few threads ago that Trump has no chance whatsoever to win, now suddenly you’re begrudgingly admitting he had a “tiny chance”? This from the clown who, not too long ago, was saying he had not chance to even get the nomination? Boy, you ain’t been right yet.

        5. Any Latino voters who haven’t been turned off by his wall intentions certainly don’t give a fuck about the KKK… most Latinos hate n1ggers even more than the reddest rednecks from the Deep South. DUH!

You continue to prove to be merely some vapid yenta who wouldn’t recognize her ass from a hole in the ground.

What universe do you live in? Clearly devoid of real-life interactions with Latinos and blacks.

        http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/politics/2014/07/16/ku-klux-klan-using-current-immigration-crisis-as-recruiting-tool/

The KKK has been capitalizing on the immigration debate since 2000, according to Mark Pallok, Senior Fellow of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Between 2000 and 2008, he told Fox News Latino, hate groups have very largely based on their rhetoric on illegal immigration.

“It’s pure opportunism,” he said in a telephone interview with FNL. “They spun it as a racial issue. The groups were fairly successful and they did grow based on their exploitation of illegal immigration.”

Quoting Fox News, Latino version, which in turn quotes a yid from the SPLC… that’s your authority?

Fail more… and get out in the real world yourself, where you’ll see actual ethnic cleansing of negroes by Hispanic gangs in the LA area.

The KKK, for all it’s “recruiting”, doesn’t amount to a fart in a wind storm, no matter how many oy veys spew forth from your mouth or the SPLC’s. It’s a nonissue and a tempest in a teapot… and you full-well know it… as do they, but it won’t stop them from drumming up funds by raising the spectre of a NAH-ZEE under every bed.

        Damn, you’re a disingenuous asshole. 😡

Keep quoting yids from the SPLC, Strapon… the swelling ranks of the Klan nigh this past decade have surely caused a shortage at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

And then try to find some info on what’s been actually going on in areas of CA, where Latino gangs are cleansing neighborhoods of their (ahem) darker denizens. Ask your friends at the SPLC about that.

Another puzzling behavior of modern white women is that even if you’re just having a fling, some of them will studiously introduce you to their friends, if you are out together.

I am always thrown when this happens. Our relationship amounts to humping, and you are passing me around to your well-dressed friends – who somehow all work in “design” or “development” or “consultation” – as though we’re engaged, and I must politely address myself to each one as though we’re going to be friends forever.

Currently the second most-popular article over at The Atlantic, by one Peter (((Beinart))) is yet another article begging Democrats to donate money to Rubio and switch party affiliation to vote for Rubio in the GOP primary.

I’m not going to link to it because I’m not driving traffic to their site, but it’s easy to find.

This excerpt shows the fear that the CultMarx / Cuckservative alliance has of Trump.

    —
Although it’s highly likely Trump would lose a general election, there are no guarantees. Hillary Clinton could be indicted. Terrorists could strike two days before Americans head out to vote. If nothing else, the course of the presidential race so far should instill a healthy modesty in anyone inclined to make blanket assertions about what will happen in six months.

But we do know this: Once Trump is nominated, America will have crossed a line.

A man who does not respect constitutional limits and who preys upon vulnerable minorities will lead one of the two major parties. The consequences, though hard to measure, could be profound. A few days ago in Iowa, fans at a high-school basketball game chanted, “Trump,” at the opposing team, which comprised Latino, African American, and Native American players. They wielded the name of the man who could become president as a racial slur. Protesters at Trump’s rallies have been beaten. Last year, in Boston, two men beat a Hispanic man with a metal pipe while yelling, “Trump was right.” Just imagine what might happen if were Trump nominated or, God forbid, elected. In myriad ways, America would become an uglier, scarier place.

. . . Sometimes even a morally corrupt status quo is better than what follows. A Trump nomination would represent a leap into a terrifying political unknown.

Liberals should try to forestall it by backing Marco Rubio. And if we fail, we should implore conservatives to help stop Trump by backing Hillary Clinton. Although the polarization in American politics today is vast, there are still norms that both decent liberals and decent conservatives cherish, and do not wish to see smashed. Across the ideological divide, it’s time to close ranks.
    —

    Close (((ranks))), indeed.

Here is a fairly even tempered analysis…

““America is now ruled by a uniformly educated class of persons that occupies the commanding heights of bureaucracy, of the judiciary, education, the media, and of large corporations, and that wields political power through the Democratic Party. Its control of access to prestige, power, privilege, and wealth exerts a gravitational pull that has made the Republican Party’s elites into its satellites.”

“This class’s fatal feature is its belief that ordinary Americans are a lesser intellectual and social breed. Its increasing self-absorption, its growing contempt for whoever won’t bow to it, its dependence for votes on sectors of society whose grievances it stokes, have led it to break the most basic rule of republican life: deeming its opposition illegitimate.”

“Democrats and Republicans who still think that this is a phase – a fever they just need to wait out before a return to normalcy – are utterly delusional. They keep talking about voters “waking up” to realize that Trump is a bad choice – but the whole reason Trump is the choice is because voters believe they have woken up to the truth about the American leadership class. The old order is breaking down, thanks to Iraq. Katrina. The financial crisis. The failed stimulus. Obamacare’s launch. The Tea Party. Occupy Wall Street. Sanders. Trump. The American people are trying to find a new way, and they are looking for outsiders to lead them through the wasteland.”

I would like some advice. I’ve been dating a girl for five months; everything’s going well. But we’re watching a movie at her place yesterday, and she randomly asks, “Were you the last of your friends to get into a relationship?”

Background: She knows that a few of my closest friends are married and starting to have kids, and I had left her for a few hours to go hang out with my buddies while she went to work earlier in the day.

I told her my friends were a few years older and ready for a wife and kids, then left it at that. I sense there were better answers. How would you guys have handled this question?

Barking orders is so unnecessary, would make me question if the guy isn’t hiding behind a tough facade. My last dom, a man I truly respect, hasn’t been rude once in the year we were together almost 24/7. Always polite, using please and thank you. Only I knew without words that it’s not actually a request, and failure to respond with enthusiasm and/or accomplish the task will be punished. Just as calmly. Self-control of a strong man induces much more respect than a nervous barking wannabe… Well, some degrading words apart from orders were normal in the dungeon.
