Trump gets my vote in November, but as an Independent, for the primaries, I’m casting my primary vote for Bernie Sanders. Anything to hurt Hillary. At the campuses, the kids are for Bernie in wide margins, it’s old women that are for Hillary here and she already lost to him in N.H.. They’ve lost a few tens of thousands of Democrats here in Ma. to the Independent category of voters, I suspect I’m not the only one to wanna hurt Hillary. If Hillary loses in Massachusetts to Bernie, that calls the northeast into question, not a development National Democrats want to see. The minute Hillary starts to look weak anywhere in the liberal political spectrum against Sanders, that translates to weakness vs. Trump. At that point, Obama drops the Justice Department hammer on her and I guess they go with Liz Warren or Biden. She’s not gonna make it. Obama owes her nothing and besides, it was Hillary that caused all the trouble to begin with with the email crimes and Libya and the rest. Obama’s look on foreign policy would be a lot better without the Hillary-led State Department and UN appointee, Susan Rice. Disasters, both. They dashed practical arrangements made over 50 years’ time inside of 12 months with the Arab Spring. How the Hell is she now rewarded with the Presidency?

He is truly a political and negotiating genius, a intuitive chameleon that knows what to say and when, but he is most certainly not a “conservative”. When all’s said and done, I think he’ll fall roughly as a bush/clinton/obama moderate policy wise, but he has the unique ability to actually get things done.
So why are you all so excited about a continuation of the same policies we’ve had for the past few decades? I like bernie because he actually represents something new that american public overwhelmingly supports, but a general election between hillary and trump is basically a choice between two of the same.

The cuckservative/CultMarx coordinated attacKKK is the one last desperate hope to stop Trump from claiming the GOP nomination. If Trump “wins” today, and with expectations as high as they are, a “win” will be a victory in every state (except Texas), he is the nominee. The cuckservative/CultMarx anti-Trump alliance will start to crack as cuckservative congress-critters decide to try to jump aboard the USS Trump rather than risk the ire of their constituents by continuing to attack the Republican nominee and thereby elect Hillary.
Anectotally, I know there is still a a strong strain of I-don’t-like-Trump-but-I-hate-Hillary-and-will-vote-for-anyone-to-stop-Hillary out there. Once Trump is a sure-thing, these people are not going to want “their” Republican leaders trashing Trump to the benefit of Clinton.
I used to think that Bernie winning the Dem nomination would have made for an easier Trump victory in the general election. I think that’s still correct, but Clinton winning the Dem nomination (which is certain now) is not all bad — if there’s one thing Hillary Clinton does well is unite Republicans AGAINST her. That anti-Hillary glue may be the thing that holds enough Republicans together to give Trump the victory in the general election.

Trump has NYC roots going back to before the US existed plus those he made himself. He’s been a NYC celebrity for most of people’s lives (see Clump-Trump parody in Gremlins II movie and his bit part in Home Alone 2). Basically Trump is part of NYC’s self-image, as well as the skyline.
Trump’s son-in-law is Jewish and his daughter converted to Judaism, i.e., he has now or will soon have Jewish grand-children.
Hillary, OTOH, is an Arkansas carpet bagger and an all around nasty pierce of work who S**ts on anyone who isn’t powerful and can help her.
What she has done to her Secret Service detail on NY over the years after Bill left the White House is high end local NY power broker gossip.
Trump getting endorsed by Christie was the opening shot of the General Election, because traditionally sitting governors of big states can swing those states for their party nominee.
There is no plausible electoral college combination for the Democrats which excludes New York or New Jersey, let alone both.
This is why you are seeing the KKK media attacks on Trump.
The Financial-political powers that be are suddenly looking at a 40(+) state, 400(+) electoral vote Trump victory blow out.
Trump’s administration will be NYC all the way, with some New Jersey. Christie will be Trump’s enforcer, either as Veep or more likely as A.G..
Only a few media types have figured this out yet.

I would love to think that Trump could win NJ and/or NY in a general election. I’m doubtful, but my view is tainted by the NYC metro area. Once the primary is over, it will be interesting to see where the polls are for a general election and how much of an uphill climb Trump will have around here.

Warning, before I go a-lifting…
Beware, you NY and NJ guys… the laws of your states are extremely restrictive on where and how you can have firearms, especially when in your vehicle, let alone on your person. And those out-of-state permits, even when supposedly reciprocal, hold little water with police. Even when you’re fully within your rights, you cold wind up spending a good chunk of change to clear the slate and get back your firearm. So be sure you study the actual law and visit some forums about the experiences of others when dealing with police at traffic stops and such.
PA, on the other hand, is quite liberal about getting a license to carry, which makes having a weapon in your vehicle less of an issue… otherwise, there are all sorts of restrictions on that issue as well, but fortunately the LTCF is relatively easy to get at the local sheriff’s office, and not too expensive.

Always worth repeating, my rayciss, but yeah — they teach you what the FL CCW is an isn’t about, and it’s definitely not a license to carry in NY/NJ etc. But it covers a fair chunk of the country and it’s better to have it than not have it.
Still, having firearms is about more than just legally carrying. You’re still allowed to carry in your home and on your property, even here in the Communist Northeastern states.
