Divorced men don’t stop voting Democrat because they are in a better financial position than they were in marriage; rather, they stop voting Democrat because the Democrat Party supports the whole panoply of anti-male feminist policy preferences that tilt the divorce playing field against men’s interests. The real reason single women — pre-marriage and post-divorce — more strongly support the Shitlib Party is because they are biologically compelled to seek a male provider and his resources when they are mate-less. I don’t think we can go back the same way we got here. The notion of a return to Christian patriarchy is pure fantasy in my opinion. Inevitably, society will return to some kind of patriarchy, but my fear is it will be of the Islamic variety. I also believe immigration won’t be the only factor in this. Eventually, some Bosnian or Chechen Muslim will figure out how to pitch Islam to young disillusioned white men as a counter to the collapsing society all around them. This is just my theory, but I do know a lot of angry young whites that outright hate Christianity because the churches sold them out to embrace feminism and importation of browns.

I have a feeling that he, like many old liberals, clung to that term even as society altered its definition. Okay, I’ll bite. No, representative government should not be abandoned, but the qualifications for voting should be changed dramatically in favor of requirements of property ownership and literacy. When voting was restricted to white, male property owners, we got George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, etc. With universal suffrage we have Barack Obama, and George Bush. We need not go back to the suffrage qualifications of the 18th Century, but suffrage needs to be significantly restricted.
Trying to do that today would probably provoke civil war, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not fundamentally a good idea in some post-America nation.

Re: Property. Does ownership of material possessions correlate with rational thought? Howard Hughes comes to mind as a definite no. How does the accumulation of land and items indicate a clear thought process? It indicates greed, but not necessarily a concern for those without material possessions. If I decide to sell my house, should I then lose the right to vote?

I know a few single mothers. The only .gov program they receive is SCHIP for the children, partial day – care, and tax breaks.
They work full time and are poor.
Only one of them receives child support; $ 50 a week.
One received SNAP benefits while unemployed. She got an extra month of benefits after getting another job and was forced to pay it back.
For most people, SNAP benefits are paltry. They are not meant to pay 100% of the food bill ( Supplementary Nutritional Assistance Program).
The only way to make a living off the system is fraud, be completely fucked up, or have a yuuuge litter.

The problem is in our habits. We’re all used to far too much food, both at home and at restaurants; in fact everywhere we move. One of the main drivers of our economy is food of every kind, through every phase of production, domestic and export.
You realize this when you travel, especially among the poor. Dinner takes hours to prepare, and you’re genuinely fucking hungry by the time it happens. This was always hardest for me.
The threshold is just too high to maintain. We’ll have to be readjusted by failure, as the chief failing of people caught in a progress trap is that they won’t and really can’t adjust rationally by small sacrifice. So the problem goes on until something gives out, forcing a reset at a lower threshold.
It will be extremely uncomfortable and probably very ugly. Especially for blacks, who have lost a good deal of basic domestic skills.
Whoever is strong just eating beans & rice will win. And we know who that is.

I have seen the future, gentlemen, and it’s suburban white neighborhoods that look like slightly more affluent versions of black neighborhoods.
It’s happened before – in Europe, no less. Matrilineal families with mothers working two jobs to support themselves and the kids while baby daddies are out getting drunk and hooking up with other girls. It sounds like I’m talking about American blacks but that’s actually a description of parts of the Balkans a hundred years ago. And yes, it began with Serbian women demanding equality and financial independence. No one has ever found a way to reverse it, and why would they? Matriarchy’s great for men. Women, not so much.

You all have forgotten the other big reason women vote Democrat: the Dem gender narrative is of female moral superiority. If you look at conservative women on Twitter or elsewhere, you see them frequently arguing against this narrative (for which they should be commended).
It’s the same reason some Asians vote Dem. All those stories about internment camps and coolie railroad labor adds up to an emotionally gratifying narrative of moral superiority.
Same reason Latinos vote Dem. “You mean there’s a party in the US of white people telling us that white people are morally inferior to us? Sign me up!”
It’s not just about the welfare programs, it’s about the moral superiority.

Funny that you’re called The Tingler and I don’t want that to confuse things. I agree with your post. Women might vote out of economic caginess…okay. But another thing the Dems do is offer up all sorts of emotional tingles via identity politics melodrama, false narratives involving past suffering and mostly a constant, 24 hours a day beatdown with the message that ‘leftism cares’ (and white boys pay for all that caring, btw). So in addition to the economic payoffs, there is a whole package of emotional tingles that women fall for too. It will not be reversed. More poverty/inequality will only provide more pseudo-drama and rage tingles. If white boys start to balk at the bit and refuse to pay for it all, then guess what? Even MORE rage tingles and a further galvanising of identity politics/hatred The left has invented perpetual motion here.

Seriously, the concept of moral superiority is something that we on the right need to discuss more and deconstruct. Because frankly, that’s really where we’re losing the debate. Policies are products of narratives and the liberal narrative is this: your ancestors conquered my ancestors, therefore I’m morally superior to you.
What an insane non sequitur to build a national policy on. The animals without claws always claim moral superiority. Nietzsche was talking about priests but it applies to every group that stands under the Democratic umbrella:
Blacks: morally and culturally superior to whites.
Women: morally and culturally superior to men.
Gays: morally and culturally superior to straights (except for straight females)
Non-Christians: morally and culturally superior to Christians.
All they’ve done is taken the old hierarchy and stood it on its head. They have no evidence for why it should stand on its head, only assertions that it’s more just if it does. Those assertions are castles in the clouds and conservatives have to start dismantling them asap because this narrative is their justification for replacing us.
Who is the holiest person in the upside-down liberal moral universe? A black lesbian (followed by a Latino tranny). Why? For no other reason that bell hooks invented the concept of intersectionality, thus giving more cachet to those on the left who can claim the most overlapping dimensions of oppression. And you know it’s about cachet because you can actually see them arguing over who’s more oppressed. It’s like they’re playing a video game, where instead of collecting bits of armor or new weapons, they’re collecting new dimensions of oppression. You see the way they exaggerate or invent stories of white racism, it’s like children trading baseball cards (which is exactly what it is).
And who taught blacks, Latinos, American Indians, etc. that their defeat made them superior to their conquerors?

I can remember a time when conquering other people meant you were superior to them. Judging by the agonistic mentality that prevails in the hood and barrio, those people understand that morality too.

There is a list of leftism-approved Oppressed Peoples, and if your particular form of oppression isn’t on it, leftists don’t look back to their founding principles and add one more item to the list; instead, they get angry at you for trying to compare yourself to “real” oppress-ees and throw even more hatred at you.

I don’t think that’s the alternative. It’s a goal of this political movement. To have the government strip men of their resources and productivity and deliver it to women. Women who now won’t have to deal with a productive man. Won’t have to put up with him. Won’t have to return value. Won’t have to do anything approaching work or effort to maintain a relationship with a man she ‘settles’ for.
Women can indulge themselves without any restraint of practicality when the state will cover them. Women (that are attracted to these sort of politics anyway) never wanted the dependable men who produce, who build assets because most of us aren’t exciting. We are just means to an end as far they are concerned. They want exciting men first. The problem is most of the exciting men (to them) are dead fucking broke. They are worthless drifters, felons, happy go lucky lazy types. Irresponsible, not dependable, prone to leave at any moment. The state means the women can have their unreliable exciting men without the downside. Women don’t have to compromise, to settle for a productive man when the state will steal what he produces and gives it to them.
That’s what women are being sold. They buy it up too and of course it’s a con. It’s society wrecking con perpetrated by the state, those who run it, and those who influence it for their gain. It’s a compounding attack on society because productive men stop producing when the state takes everything. When being productive means supporting other men’s children and a parasitical elite what’s the point?

Yeah Tingler, to an extent but about 90% of the real jobs are held by men. So that trend can only go so far. You can’t have a software company of 5000 with 4,998 human resources cows eating donuts and two programmers. So things will fall apart long before men are the leisure class (with women doing all the work.) In fact, I don’t see women ever being overworked or even having to work a full 40 years in a gynocracy.

Japan hasn’t gone leftist because traditional values are a much better return for the women. One gender works 14-hour days at the corporation while the other spends a few hours getting the kids off to school and then relaxes watching television, studying flower arrangement, and drinking coffee with friends, until the spouse stumbles in exhausted at midnight. Which gender would you rather be?

Health care in Japan is universal and free for the poor. Obamacare on steroids.

I don’t know that undergraduate studies are all that bad for fecundity [although they certainly do contribute to the pandemic of assortive mating and all the terrible inbreeding which that creates], but GRADUATE [and professional school] studies just destroy fecundity. Korea is still more patriarchal than US or European society. Women here do agitate for more benefits and are prone to similar political arguments so it’s going to go downhill eventually. Most young men I see look pussified too.

Slightly O/T, here’s something I think I invented which might be useful to others.
When I’m with my wife at the mall (beta), or out anywhere really, I march around holding her by the wrist.
She whines and complains (“what are you doing”, “stop it”, blah blah blah) but always complies. Then when I’m satisfied I reward her by holding her hand.
It turns out she gleefully told her sister-in-law about this (“it’s so weird”, “he’s such a bastard”, etc.) and the sister-in-law told her husband, & now he does it too.
So there you go – my small contribution to world peace

For a lot of men pozzed by the popular culture and being raised around women, they have no idea how to be naturally masculine.
Properly schooled in game, they are simply tapping into their own inherent strengths that they were born with.

My bottom line – women are emotionally driven, security seeking creatures.
