This observation is of little value because
1. plots don’t matter.

Watch movies and tv with the sound off. What are the power/body relations between people? Who dominates? Who cringes? Who is tall and well dressed and moves with confidence? Who is slovenly, has poor posture and moves uncertainly. What car do they drive and how? Who seeks permission? Who, in their body language, grants or denies permission. What kinds of things occur in the presence of certain people or images or symbols?
In short, most important are the *visual* associations that are being made.
These are the keys to seeing the messages that you are being given and how they are being fed to you past the guard of your critical mind.

Looking at an interview with Swift when she was 19 and she was very cute then. Back then she was more giggly, fun and expressive.
