In May 2014, six months into his Afghanistan tour, he was accused of sexual harassment by a female soldier. The Army sent him stateside, recommending an “other than honorable discharge,” said Bradford Glendening, the military lawyer who represented him.
That recommendation was “highly unusual,” Bradford said, since counseling is usually ordered before more drastic steps are taken.
“In his case, it was apparently so egregious, it was not just the act itself,” Glendening told The Associated Press. “I’m sure that this guy was the black sheep of his unit.”
According to a court filing Glendening read over the phone Friday, the victim said she wanted Johnson to “receive mental help,” while also seeking a protective order to keep him away from her and her family, wherever they went. Johnson was ordered to avoid all contact with her.
Glendening said Johnson was set to be removed from the Army in September 2014 because of the incident, but instead got an honorable discharge months later — for reasons he can’t understand.
“Someone really screwed up,” he said. “But to my client’s benefit.”

A huge percentage of all forms you fill out, such as for Concealed Carry Permits, ask whether you had an “other than honorable” discharge from the military. Reminds me of Cho, at VaTech, who had briefly been involuntarily committed, and should have been on the “Do Not Sell” list, but the Frankfurt Schoolers at the asylum conveniently forgot to file the paperwork.

Yep, that could be a federal prohibitor. (I believe it’s only dishonorable discharges that prohibit possession; there are some other-than-honorable discharges that leave one’s rights intact, for instance general discharges.)

Globalisation has changed society beyond belief and social media is a huge component of that. No idea where we go from here.
One example and this is typical of what I see….this girl I know from a sleepy town in upstate NY. Solid 8.
In days gone past she’d have her alphas then settle down with a solid beta and have kids.
All good and stable.
Yet today she has 5,000 ‘friends’ on FB and a 1,000 followers from all over. Her ego is now through the roof, she won’t settle for any dude as she is always believing in someone better is out there even as she hits 30. No kids and she thinks of herself as a celebrity posting pics like a whore does and living the celebrity lifestyle of wealth and not having to work hard.
The younger millennials want all this instantly and when their financial reality hits they become sugar babies to support their celebrity lifestyles.

Another thing I see from globalisation is how expensive cities have become. David Byrne is quoted in that vogue article about NY and he is right.
Global markets have made the elites rich. The mass entertainment and sport industries over the last 20 yesrs have made people rich between the stars themselves and their hangers on.
They are buying up the cities. The days of say going to Warsaw and having a beer for 3p cents are gone. Talking to a Bolivian the other day and Bolivia is expensive as all hell for property and food despite wages remaining the same for a decade. As Rollo always says women are opportunistic in love so if need be…will whore themselves out for a more comfortable lifestyle.
I feel sorry for younger dudes who want to wife material.
