Richard Spencer And His Glib Heil

November 26, 2016 by CH

A few quick thoughts on the recent media frenzy that erupted after the nominal leader of the alt-right allowed himself to be photographed at a bar in DC dramatically thrusting up a seig heil with a Jewish friend and a female compatriot, Tila Tequila, an Asian reality TV star.

(I won’t link the photo. You can do a Startpage search and find it easily.)

First, remind yourselves that if no edgelord alt-rightist was available to mischaracterize in service to the anti-White Narrative, the leftoid media would invent one out of a moderate alt-rightist, (or even a gullible dope like Jeb). So whatever you think about Richard Spencer’s cheeky antics, know that a less trollish Spencer would not mean the sudden efflorescence of a fairer leftoid media hatemachine.

Second, the media assault was pre-planned with the sole purpose of cornering Trump into, once again, “disavowing” an alt-righter. Trump disavowed, but as usual did so in that way which makes it hard to miss he was subtly mocking the character assassination rituals of shitlib media. The end game is the same for the dying legacy media:

Alt-Right: *assaults public square with realtalk*
Trump: *disavows*
Media: *preens*
Alt-Right: *continues realtalk assault*
Media: BTFO

The American public is inured to the media anti-White shell game by now. A couple of grinning doofuses Roman saluting with an Asian girl? It won’t ping any normal American as a threat…or even a story worth reporting on. Meanwhile, the fashy photo op opens the Overton Window so wide the media is left blind-sided to the erosion of their narrative.

Although given to immature public attention whoring, Spencer isn’t a schmo. He’s a bright guy and his website, Radix Journal, has better writing and better ideas than anything that National Cuckview has put out in the last ten years. Spencer can intro the American public to ideas that legacy media conceals. So this pile-on by the media just might backfire in the long run.

Spencer is not the enemy. The media is the enemy. As hbr nrx twatted, “Reminder: Tim Wise is far more extreme than Richard Spencer, but Tim Wise gets paid large sums of money to give speeches at universities.”

Having softened Spencer’s public persona and decriminalized his nazi-larper signaling with just as much flattery as I can muster before feeling a bit nauseous, I hasten to add that the stunt he pulled did no favors to the Realtalk Revolution he wishes to lead into the limelight.

Semi-ironic meme war is most effective online, and when the media is complacent to the memetic threat. The Meme Wars are not as effective in real life when the media converges for a kill. Multiple tributaries of memetic warfare knock media libs off their game. Focusing the slippery White Nationalist memes onto one live person — in this case, Spencer — plays to the media’s strength.

The best response to the media’s smear and caricature tactic is to diffuse alt-right power to many sources and have self-disciplined leaders. By self-disciplined, I mean controlling the urge to upload dank visual memes into real life actualization. Prankster hijinks hitched to a leader occlude seriousness. One silly photo can cause a movement to be stillborn when the media maintains ironclad control over perception, which they still do when single photos capturing a moment in time are the standard by which the media sustains its White dispossession narrative.

The uniting theme of the alt-right is rejection of race & sex equalism. I like to think Chateau Heartiste was among the first online repositories of dissident speech to smash the Equalist Megalith. However, CH is in the shadows, so media management is not as much a concern for our ‘umble retreat in the dank wood as it should be for public figures like Spencer. As long as the guiding principles of the alt-right rebellion stay true to the fundamental premise of intrinsic race and sex differences, it can withstand the bad optics of a few drunk-happy thought leaders mischievously mugging for the camera.

That said, bad optics aren’t always blessings in disguise. There is a risk that poor message discipline and sloppy public relations will discredit the alt-right before it has a chance to get out of the Twatter ghetto.

A free piece of advice for the burgeoning alt-right revolutionaries who are now grappling with standards of entry:

Publicly defend, privately cull.

No enemies to the Right is excellent public policy, but a bad way to manage private affairs. The Left is currently destroying itself by forgetting the second half of my advice and allowing the degenerates and misfits to run the ship aground. It’s time to discourage the alt-right from doing the same.

***

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, this post should not be read as a call for Spencer to apologize or backpedal. Good lord n butter, that would energize his media tormentors a thousand times more than they are already. If we’ve learned anything at this blog and from the past year’s events, it’s that one should NEVER apologize to the rabid Left, even if what one has done is bad form. (Spencer did nothing wrong except violate style rules.)

A way for Spencer to turn this bad press around and come out looking better is suggested by commenter Lovekraft:

The next time Spencer speaks in public, he should be wearing a Malcolm X t-shirt with his hand raised high giving the Black Power salute.

When media ask him why he’s wearing it, he looks them in the eye and asks them if they’re now ready for a real discussion.

(which won’t happen because the narrative is still locked, but the ‘get down to business’ approach with the media could shift them into Trump territory).

While the Nazi-Black Panher comparison isn’t perfect, it will “reset” the optics and put the leftoid hivemind media on the defensive. It’s a finger in the eye of the media, pointing up their hypocrisy in how they cover White vs black tribal salutes.

Alinsky: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”

Much of the media success in Hivemind actions proceeds from this rule. Spencer they can use it on.

The AR, being more diffuse and with no one person said to be coherently leading it, is a much harder target. That is why the lugenpresse was reduced to using a frog cartoon instead, which led to them exposing themselves as ridiculous.

Exactly. He thinks he has balls by pulling the nazi stuff but it’s a severe tactical error. It just shows he lacks self restraint. If he ever wanted a poltical career, he’s out. Radioactive. Politics is a long game. Just ask David Duke.

White people are so used to being cowed that their assumption is that Donald Trump is the most radical politician that will ever be. Within 10 years he will be considered moderate. Fighting for our race will be considered as natural and normal as it is now for blacks and mestizos.

Yup. If you guys in the Alt-Right are going to shove the proverbial shiv into their heart, you are going to have to be well disciplined when doing it, and ostracize any who stray from the thin line approach. When you get big enough, then you can attack full frontal.

Personally, I’m only here for the wording. The Alt-right is largely just another group to me. You here don’t predominately deal with the issues of family law, but good luck to you all the same.

Despite me having three bi-racial kids. Hahahaha

        Three biracial kids?

Well, you say biracial but it is probably more like tri-racial as it is very doubtful that you are some kind of pure-blood Castilian.

That aside, I’m willing to bet that the three kids are from three different mothers, you don’t live with any of them, they’re all on the public dole, and the women are all shaped like they’re wearing a couple of lifesaving rings under their form-fitting T-shirts.

        So, uh, congratulations you winner.

All this race talk is misdirection.

I am far more worried about the genetic predisposition of white European men to pussy pedestalize.

        Question:

How did lily white countries like Canada, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, etc. become the cuckold capitals of the world?

        Answer:

Women. Women always vote to fitness test their men. They will bring in foreigners, start wars, destroy companies, and sow chaos as much as possible. Why? To make sure the sperm that’s fertilizing them is coming from battle tested warrior stock.

Women need to SEE their men crush the opposition. They need to SEE their mates conquer the enemy and execute him. They don’t understand abstraction, they are a visceral creature. They need to experience the orgasmic high of mating with a man who is stained with the blood of his enemy.

We have denied them their deepest desire. And so they turn to the Muslims or the Dindus.

The alt-right is already beginning to pussy pedestalize by focusing on race and forgetting about sex. They think that their fair maidens will magically fall in line and vote for them. Just like they did in the countless lily white countries which are now cucked beyond all redemption…

Spineless, pussy pedestalizing fools. They will drag out the decline until the barbarians swarm the gates.

I predict the whites that survive the next century will all be Muslims. Without sexual repression of females there is no civilization. No culture has ever managed to suppress female sexuality as successfully as religious societies.

Christianity needs a rebirth, and a return to a legal doctrine comparable to ISIS-style sharia. Turning the cheek will not work. It will only result in a thorough butthexting.

Wake up white man, and see your dear women for what they truly are:

        Eve, destroyer of paradise.

this is exactly why white ethnostate secession won’t work. if whites don’t go full shitlord, and they think that retreating to their own homeland will solve their problems, yet continue to relate to their women in the same cucked way, then the problems will just repeat, but now with less land.

the unavoidable solution is to go full shitlord, in whatever form. and if you’re going full shitlord then why on earth would you start by giving up territory that you already mostly control?

1 Spencer toasted, with a glass in hand, you can see the glass in the video.
It was not a Roman Salute or Sieg Heil.
2 The Roman Salutes had been done in the spirit of light hearted Irony. The Two men in the photograph with Teila Tequila doing Roman Salutes were interviewed outside saying they were Jews who were curious. So they trolled it. There is a YouTube video of these people.
3 Some members of the audience Roman Saluted. Several have explained their actions notably on red ice radio.

      We can get through this.

The issues at stake: The Right Stuff and Daily Stormer are toxic and are a dead end. Talking about toasts, “Roman” salutes, Jews and such can change that fact.

Spencer got lured into their orbit and has paid the price. The movement as a whole cannot afford to do the same. And no,pretending to do all this with hipster irony is not going to save you, it makes you look gay.

Normal White Americans are now Nazi.

He deserves respect for that. Brilliant exposure. May lead to many awakenings out there.
Not of course shown in the MSM was when he said Trump could be the most pro Zionist President ever.

The ‘well-groomed’ part can be taken different ways, I’ve been letting my hair grow to rebel against the unfortunate worldwide White Male Balding and ill-advised shaving of heads, little birds can now build nests up there, and that’s a good thing.
Eat healthy – no junk, no packaged crap, no additives, colors, preservatives or similar poisons – and train, train, train.
Running the risk of repeating myself (yet again…), it is the sacred duty of every White male to get himself into good enough shape that he could take on at least 3 or 4 of THEM.
White women should do the same, assuming they are not 100% brainpoisoned beyond repair.

It seems that what the Germans call the ‘Nazi club’ is losing its effectiveness, even over there.
Now and again, someone will post a perfectly reasonable and well-founded comment on sites such as pi-news dot net that calls ALL things by name and does not perform the knee-jerk licking of Hebrew boots that has been required – especially by Germans – for so many decades.

Up to two years ago we were on stormfront moaning continuously with nothing happening for a white nationlist cause. I like Duke but he just points out the negative all the time. He’s right of course but jeez it was depressing with nothing to motivate you or look forward to.
Now we have the Trumpening….the NPI getting mainstream coverage and assaults from all sides on the liberal establishment by the likes of Milo and Ramzpaul etc.
Not to mention CH and Anglin.
Modt if not all have flaws but we have to stand together.
I’ve seen a few snide comments about Spencer from Internet Warriors and my question would be… when are you Internet Warriors going to stand up in front of the world’s media to voice your beliefs and face mass hatred, physical assaults and potential career sabotage not to mention death threats?
Some crazy dindus could pull a gun on these dudes.
Spencer’s sexuality was questioned …well he got recently divorced from a Russian woman and has a child.
I liked Spencer’s speech. He stumbled a fair bit and to me seems not ready for this current limelight that he never probably expected.
But we have to stand together in the face of a huge enemy.
Milo is brilliant at cutting political correctness down. Spencer comes at it from a intellectual level. Anglin says himself he is not a good speaker but jeez he puts himself out there.
CH comes at it from a game perspective and even the likes of Roosh and Rollo play a part.
This is fucking exciting but we have to stand together. William Pierce’ organization fell apart after he died as most movements do due to infighting and splits.

It’s a simple and unfortunate answer: anonymous members of the Alt-right will go public when the principles that are involved in the Alt-Right – principles that were common sense 100 years ago – become common sense again.

So long as our livelihoods and dreams are at a clear risk of ruin simply by stating the obvious, most of us will not “go public”. This isn’t cowardice, its simply the practical decision. It is not practical to go around proclaiming Alt-right ideas. The anonymity inherent with the Internet has been our greatest asset – it’s what enables the Alt-right to be an information/data machine, rather than simply being a “political movement”. It’s what has, in Taleb terms, enabled our “anti-fragility”.

Of anything, going “un-anonymous” – which is what it seems you are advocating – is precisely what liberals and the media want. It lays us right into their domain and it wins us nothing. Put it simply: the media/liberals win far more than us if we (or a significant number of us) go public; whereas we win far more from them if we remain anonymous. This dichotomy will remain until our arguments and principles become common place, and how they will become common place is, at the moment, complete speculation.

Now, with the above being the case, it follows that those who do go public – Spencer being an example – are more likely to jeopardize the alt-right’s goals than anonymous members (I won’t go into the details of why this is, because I think its obvious), which implies that their actions will necessarily be more scrutinized by anonymous members (Internet Warriors) than the actions by anonymous members themselves. All of this to say that it is perfectly reasonable for anonymous members of the Alt-right to be heavily critical of public members.

The way I see it, there are people who are alt right because they have been redpilled and the alt right is the only place to go for Realtalk. I would put this blog, Steve Sailer, John Derbyshire, anything on Vdare, some things on Takimag in the Realtalk category. And then there are 1488 people, wigger nationalists, etc. I would put Andrew Anglin, The Right Stuff, maybe Red Ice Radio (although they aren’t as bad as Anglin), and The Daily Shoah in the 1488 category.

Yes, I know, no enemies to the right, it’s good we have a vanguard pushing the Overton window right even if they are wigger nationalists, and whatnot. I just wish that the Realtalk side of the alt right was bigger and the 1488 part smaller. The Realtalk side is the part of the alt right with all the good ideas. The 1488 people are just good at memes.

Rainbow Poz Warriors never eat their own, but always protect, defend, and make excuses.

The White Right should emulate the Poz Left in this regard. Never back down, never apologize. If someone flies the Heil, say it was taken out of context, it’s an inside joke.

But even if it wasn’t a joke, then talk about how he was attacked and abused by minorities as a child and so, though it’s lamentable, we must use it as a teachable moment, an opportunity to do some consciousness raising of the ways minorities attack and harass Whites based solely on the color of our skin. Rainbow Poz Warriors make these sorts of arguments in the alternative all the time and never let a good crisis go to waste, so emulate their tactics.

many whites signed on with, and profited from, the victimhood-ocracy, a la Glenn Beck. as traitors to their roots, they’re the ones who will scream the loudest as their old cash cow of selling white genocide milk to the cuckolds dries up and they’re put out to pasture along side the shitlibs. they’ll be the new lepers, rejected by all sides.

the alt-right doesn’t want to be held back anymore by baby-sitting those that can’t keep up. the victimhood purveyors had their chance, now it’s time to bring back the meritocracy, aka patriarchy 2.0, the Shitlord version. cucks are not invited. so they either man up or come out as the faggots they are. and they better hurry because it’s coming fast.

We aren’t sitting down. We are distancing ourselves from someone who was deliberately playing Hollywood Nazi in front of the mainstream media and who has explicitly tried to associated himself with us and with Trump.

You have a choice between (A) keeping Spencer or (B) being able to grow the movement, have real influence, and retaining most of the higher IQ people who are already here, or were here before Typhoid Spencer shit the bed.

The next step is very easy. Simply split from Spencer. It’s one man (one idiot). Disavow him. And, for his part, if he cares about the future of our people, he must fall on his sword.

Spencer didn’t coin “the term.” Even if he had, it took on a different meaning in the past one to two years, when its success was at its peak. Even if he had, he is not entitled to speak for the movement.

What exactly does the term ‘Nazi’ mean ?
      They don’t know. Not really.
How did they come about and get into power ?
They don’t know., they just think they do.
How exactly did the events of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s unfold and how do they fit into a historical picture, going both backwards as well as forwards ?

Never go full retard or full nazi. Use subtle means of deprogramming pc libtards. Be a certified pc libtard deprogrammer L+ certified. Its takes a safecracker, not a buzzsaw. Always leave plausible deniabilty with a reframe. For example, try saying that a particular dastardly person belongs in the oven. Say for instance that the topic of a pedo in the news comes up in conversation. Say that the pedo belongs in the oven in Schwarzenegger type voice. The libtard will probably agree. Next time you talk to them, try using the same tactic when someone less dastardly comes up. Keep doing it till you’re accused of being a denier or antisemitic. Then say “Whoa, you’re the one going there. I mean like hansel and gretel evil witch oven. You know, the kid story.” Then take the opportunity to ask what they know about the holocaust. At that point, you’ve hacked past the firewall. Begin correcting the record on ww2 and the 6 million number–Gently and methodically. That will begin their journey to question history, then the reality that history built.

The point of Trump was never really about Trump himself, and he knows this. Trump has always been a great self promoter, but he had to become what the people wanted. He has always held some core beliefs, but he knows a President cannot lead a nation without a people. All politics are essentially Identity Politics, or Populism as it is now being called.

The point of Trump is that white people are just starting to wake up, and shit is going to change extremely fast and this scares the living hell out of the establishment.

    1. Contrast is key.

Those with a very moderate message can make the enemy look like fools by using extreme presentation to trigger an overreaction. Donald Trump and the “Alt-Lite” do this quit effectively.

Those with a radical message of pure truth can disarm the prejudices of potential converts by presenting themselves in a moderate, almost bland manner. This is how Kevin MacDonald became the most influential real-talker of our time.

Spencer is no longer ideologically “Alt-Lite”, but he still indulges in their antics. MacDonald message + Milo delivery = public relations catastrophe. Spencer has no right to discredit America’s indispensable truth tellers (MacDonald, Devlin, Brimelow etc.) by tolerating Nazi salutes at his conference.

    2. More importantly, such conduct is morally unjustifiable.

We were outraged when Jed Sunden sent his hired whore (“FEMEN activist”) to vandalize the Kiev memorial to the victims of Communism, and rightly so. Not just because it was a criminal act of vandalism. A more important principle was involved. No one has the moral right to disrespect the memory of the 21 million Eastern Europeans murdered by the Bolsheviks. Likewise, no one has the moral right to disrespect the memory of the 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis.

Spencer should have expelled the porn star and the two Jewish provocateurs the instant they first did the Nazi salute.

The 21 million estimate comes from The Black Book of Communism, which estimates 20 million victims of communism in the Soviet Union and another 1 million in the rest of Eastern Europe, mostly before 1957.

The same book estimates 79 million additional victims in the rest of the world, mainly China.

I spent some time looking into this incident, because it seemed like a remarkably stupid move, something that you’d expect from a skinhead in the 1980’s. I was surprised to learn that:

    1. Richard Spencer did not do any kind of Nazi salute. He raised his drink and said “Hail Victory, Hail Trump.”

    2. There were only about three people who gave the Nazi salute, and two of them appeared to be Jews who’d gotten in with press passes. They admitted to being Jews on camera and were the same ones posing with Tila Tequila.

3.The video is edited to look like there were more people giving the salute.

The entire thing reeks of a setup. Some are saying that Richard should have never allowed the media to come to his conference, without offering any of their own ideas about just how the Alt-Right is supposed to get their message out by always meeting in secret.

No downside? Trump has now condemned the Alt Right. Bannon has been forced to move left under pressure from the media over Spencer’s antics. Nearly every public person associated with the Alt Right has had to disassociate himself from the brand. Reports coming in from private people in Europe state the same. That name is going nowhere now.

Wrong. Spencer’s “toast” was deliberately suggestive of a Nazi salute. He raised his arm right after he proclaimed “Hail Victory” (“Sieg Heil”). His speech had talked about conquering other nations, White racial superiority, and used Nazi-era terminology, some of it in actual German (“Triumph of the Will” and “Luegenpresse”) and in prior statements he has advocated “ethnic cleansing”. In addition to that context, in terms of the physical act itself, if you watch it carefully, it is obviously rushed and awkward, as he tries to shoehorn it into the Sieg Heil and make it look like somewhat like a Nazi salute.

In his first interviews about the fiasco, Spencer never claimed to have been misunderstood. And in fact supported the Nazi salute interpretation by speaking of his intention to “throw it back in their faces.”

Moreover, another Nazi salute controversy (Tila Tequila’s from the night before) was already alive in the media on Saturday by the time Spencer gave his speech. He knew exactly what he was doing.

      Awful judgment.

My source is his speech on Saturday and the video of the end of it. It’s all over the Internet. I have to agree with public perception that it looks rather ominous, as he ends by exclaiming “Sieg Heil [“Hail Victory”], Heil Trump” and rapidly raises his right arm, as audience members rise with their own Nazi salutes as the camera pans around.

    “Publicly defend, privately cull.

No enemies to the Right is excellent public policy, but a bad way to manage private affairs.”

So in other words, basically do exactly what Buckley and the Neocons did.

    Yeah. That’s a great policy.

    *barf*

That’s why an alt-right arose in the first place — because of right-punching rubbish like that.

And now, all of a sudden, after a year of uncucking the right, the idea is, “When WE do it, it’s not cucking”?

Bullcrap. It’s the same cowardice and will yield the same results.

“Culling” on the basis of philo-Judaism and anti-NSDAPism is the same as culling on the basis of any “racism” or “sexism.” Only it’s even worse when when even people who try to distinguish themselves from the National Review crowd do it, because they know what a rotten, backstabbing move it is, and they’ve been complaining about Buckley’s purges for years. Now, with limitless hypocritical gall, they turn around and say, “Hey, maybe Buckley and David Frum were right after all.”

Happily, there is at least one group in America who could see the matter with clear eyes, he wrote: “The American Negro has the great advantage of having never believed that collection of myths to which white Americans cling: that their ancestors were all freedom-loving heroes, that they were born in the greatest country the world has ever seen, or that Americans are invincible in battle and wise in peace.”

Opinionator, as you know I was pretty upset with the Spencer situation.

After giving it thought, I’d have to take the Roosh/CH position:

        I do not disavow.

Spencer made a mistake, and his mistake was allowing the Red MSM snakes into the room. Cernovich/Paul Joseph Watson made this very clear to him, as they have been doing the independent media thing for a long time. They accused him of being controlled opposition because they couldn’t believe someone could be so incredibly stupid with regards to the MSM.

Spencer is just young and naive. He will learn that the MSM’s narrative cannot be turned to favor him, regardless of how hard he tries. The upcoming Atlantic documentary on him is going to eviscerate him.

        Hopefully he learns from that.

Regarding the 1488 larpers…what can you do? Roosh is Persian/Armenian and he refuses to disavow, so he must believe that they will not high jack the alt-right in any meaningful way.

        Hopefully he learns from that.

There’s little margin for error here, Randy. Spencer has presented himself to the media that anything he does now gets attributed to anyone with even the remotest association with the Alt Right, including Trump, Bannon, and many public intellectuals. As evidence of the damage Spencer is doing, all have now distanced themselves from the movement.

There isn’t time for Spencer to make mistakes and “grow.” He’s clearly in over his head. He must be sidelined.

Regarding the 1488 larpers…what can you do? Roosh is Persian/Armenian and he refuses to disavow, so he must believe that they will not high jack the alt-right in any meaningful way.

Actually, Roosh clearly disassociated himself from the Alt Right in February of this year. So he has little skin in the game as to whether Spencer’s antics have damaged the brand name. He may even have a conflict of interest.

After decades of programming from media, Hollywood, and academia, Nazis are a symbol to the American mind of mass murder, genocide, absolute evil.

      Malcom X isn’t.

(Furthermore, many American families lost people fighting Nazis or take pride in family members who did and survived.)

You may think that unfair, but that’s the reality we are working in.

Unless and until that association in the American mind is changed, embrace of the Nazi brand carries a political death sentence. You want to take on the challenge of arguing for a different association (I’ll assuming there is a different perspective? How much work and how many months or years do you think that will take? If this is silly bonding and posturing, bad on them. But Isis and Al-Queda are doing things a thousand times worse.

Point being that, while the (((Skype-ish))) puppetmasters of The Left understand that this is all one great big joke which is being foisted upon the Shkotzim, the rank-and-file Shkotzim marionettes of The Left are not in on the joke, and because the Frankfurt School has inculcated a RELIGIOUS FERVOR in them, any attempt to talk sense to the marionettes causes a metaphysically dire emotional response as the foundations of their religious identity are called into question. So that when you try to coax a rank-and-file True Believer out of the cult of Political Correctness, you are quite literally in danger of destroying the very Id/Ego/Super-ego which the Frankfurt School has molded in the True Believer.

Conversely, when one of their canonized high Priestesses [like thecunt] is knocked off the throne of power by a mouth-breathing knuckle-dragging pagan heathen idiot [like The Donald], the marionettes’ entire reason for being – their religion of Political Correctness – is shaken to its the core, and they can’t even function as pretend college students anymore: They have to retreat to their “safe spaces” and gobble Prozac and Ritalin and Ecstasy and curl up in the fetal position and suck their d@mned thumbs.

You’ll be looking at a ratio on the order of 1000-to-1. Maybe even 10,000-to-1. Western Civilization has been completely gutted.

I am dismayed by this post, but perhaps our difference of opinion is attributable to different factual predicates. You appear to be writing based on a number of false fact premises.

The lethal imagery is not the photo of Tila and two others (neither of whom were Richard Spencer) giving an ironic Nazi salute. That was indeed ironic (and probably sarcastic) because of who Tila is and because one of the guys is Jewish and because it was a playful photo taken among friends.

The lethal imagery is Spencer’s earnest Hollywood Nazi speech, captured indelibly on video and broadcast all over the world, with which he closed the conference. In that speech, he used blatant Nazi-era terminology throughout, some of it in actual German. He finished the speech by exulting, “Hail Victory (“Sieg Heil”)! Hail Trump!” and quickly thrust his right arm out in the air. Video showed members of the audience rising ominously with outstretched Nazi salutes in response to Spencer.

In an initial video interview with dissident media about his speech, Spencer did not deny giving a Nazi salute and described his actions as “throwing it back in their faces.”

Spencer has nuked the Alt Right, here, in Europe, and across the Anglosphere. If you do not grasp how damaging this is, I have to think you are not out there in real life trying to gradually push the envelope and advocate for our side with normal friends, family, and acquaintances. And are not speaking with people who are. There are reports from people in various in Europe that the Alt Right brand is now radioactive. Same with Austrualia. In the United States, many people who had begun to identify as “Alt Right” in real life feel they have been stabbed in the back, and their reputation and standing is at risk. If you need further confirmation, witness the reaction of many of the movement’s public figures (both anonymous and real name) on the Internet. Even Jared Taylor has basically just disavowed Spencer.

“No enemies to the right” is not a blank check. At best a rule of thumb, it is also a hobgoblin of little minds. Smart organizations must–publicly–distance themselves from people who do legitimate damage to the reputation. Otherwise, the group will not survive. Like a dog who has rabies, Spencer must be removed from the group for its own health and safety. It’s all really just simple and straightforward. And it must be public, for the point is to restore the movement’s reputation in the eyes of the public.

Spencer is a liability now. Just make the obvious decision and let’s move on and try to get back to the energy of The Trumpening.

If Spencer wanted to be “edgy” and make a splash he could have conceded that Pinochet or Franco achieved some worthwhile stuff. No need to hand the media a bazooka and dredge up 3rd Rch antics. Shows the ‘smarts’ of an adolescent. And anyway he should be giving praise to legit non-Neocon repubs who went before: Coolidge, Hoover, Taft, Eisenhower, Buchanan. Why cover the alt right in shit when it is still an underdog. No. No enemies to the right means no enemies to the right.

Our people and our way of life is under assault from Jew-dominated cultural-marxism and White genocide.

      No enemies to the right.

Even if you accept the (((official))) narrative of the 20th Century, the Communists were responsible for the death of tens of millions of people, orders of magnitude more than National Socialist “NAZI” Germany. Yet there is no shame or approbation heaped upon those who wave Communist flags, chant Communist slogans, and preach Communist ideology. Indeed, card-carrying members of the Communist Party teach (read: indoctrinate) students at our public and private universities.

      No enemies to the right.

As far as some specifics of your post:

A few quick thoughts on the recent media frenzy that erupted after the nominal leader of the alt-right allowed himself to be photographed at a bar in DC dramatically thrusting up a seig heil

Nominal leader? Few if any people in the Alt Right accept Richard Spencer as their leader. “Self-proclaimed” or “mainstream media anointed” leader? That would be more accurate.

with a Jewish friend and a female compatriot, Tila Tequila, an Asian reality TV star.

I do not believe that is Spencer in the photo.

(I won’t link the photo. You can do a Startpage search and find it easily.)

Because you don’t want to be associated with Nazis? Doesn’t that tell you we shouldn’t be associated with Spencer?

First, remind yourselves that if no edgelord alt-rightist was available to mischaracterize in service to the anti-White Narrative, the leftoid media would invent one out of a moderate alt-rightist, (or even a gullible dope like Jeb). So whatever you think about Richard Spencer’s cheeky antics, know that a less trollish Spencer would not mean the sudden efflorescence of a fairer leftoid media hatemachine.

First, Spencer’s speech wasn’t all that cheeky. (Yes, the photo of the three was.) Second, as I mentioned in a post to you several days ago, the media’s success in “characterizing” things they would like is among other things a function of how closely that characterization fits reality. I’d say the the characterization of Spencer’s antics last weekend is a pretty close fit.

Second, the media assault was pre-planned with the sole purpose of cornering Trump into, once again, “disavowing” an alt-righter.

It was more like manna from Heaven.

Trump disavowed, but as usual did so in that way which makes it hard to miss he was subtly mocking the character assassination rituals of shitlib media. The end game is the same for the dying legacy media:

Alt-Right: *assaults public square with realtalk*
    Trump: *disavows*
    Media: *preens*
    Alt-Right: *continues realtalk assault*
    Media: BTFO

Really? What is the “realtalk” here? Adulating Nazis? Has the media been BTFO’d on that?

The American public is inured to the media anti-White shell game by now.

They aren’t inured to video of the “nominal leader” of a purportedly legitimate movement giving a Nazi salute and exclaiming Sieg Heil. Or for that matter, speaking of “conquering” other races.

A couple of grinning doofuses Roman saluting with an Asian girl? It won’t ping any normal American as a threat…or even a story worth reporting on.

Agree. That photo was fine and might have actually worked as irony or to challenge normie expectations of what the “Alt Right” is. Cute Asian girl, nice Jewish boy, sarcastically giving a salute.

Meanwhile, the fashy photo op opens the Overton Window so wide the media is left blind-sided to the erosion of their narrative.

Sorry, this sounds downright delusional. What are you talking about? I think you’ve missed the boat on the actual factual underpinnings of this entire controversy.

Although given to immature public attention whoring, Spencer isn’t a schmo. He’s a bright guy and his website, Radix Journal, has better writing and better ideas than anything that National Cuckview has put out in the last ten years.

Spencer is bright enough to write passing grade college papers and perhaps a grad-level Master’s thesis, but he doesn’t appear to have the talent to lead. He is not charismatic, he lacks a human touch and political judgment, he is not a good liar, and he is not quick on his feet.

Spencer can intro the American public to ideas that legacy media conceals. So this pile-on by the media just might backfire in the long run.

Dude, Spencer is a toxic Nazi now. Any ideas like this coming from him will not be trusted. His intentions will not be trusted.

Spencer is not the enemy. The media is the enemy. As hbr nrx twatted, “Reminder: Tim Wise is far more extreme than Richard Spencer, but Tim Wise gets paid large sums of money to give speeches at universities.”

Right now, Spencer is doing us more harm than the media is.

The uniting theme of the alt-right is rejection of race & sex equalism.

Not so sure about that. Perhaps it is Asabiyya. Perhaps it is American nationalism. Perhaps it is identity. Perhaps it is opposition to foreign or globalist rule.

Perhaps race and sex equalism are just the tools used against us and against our achieving these ends.

I agree with much of what else you wrote. Except the applicability of the “privately cull” rule to this situation.

… because as we’ve seen all-too-clearly, nigh these past 40 years, said future isn’t going to be secured by voting or by reasoning with those who have made their intentions for us White folks quite clear.

If any of those “higher IQ folks” you’re touting are really using those brain cells, they already see the writing on the wall… and aren’t going to let the nervous nellies keep dictating terms on how run the business of securing our existence and a future for White children.

Spencergate is just pussygate all over again. The reality and the spin bear no resemblance to each other.

What was actually said in the pussy leaks tape? “They let you do it,” and “you can” grab them by the pussy when you’re rich. Consensual activity wasn’t just implied, it was explicitly indicated.

What did the lugenpresse say? “Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women.”

What actually happened in the final moment of NPI? Richard Spencer said “Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory,” and raised his glass. Approximately 5-7 people in an audience of 300 gave Roman salutes.

What do the lugenpresse and hasbara shills say? Richard Spencer shouted “Heil Trump, Sieg Heil,” and then gave a “Nazi salute” which was reciprocated by “the room” erupting in “Nazi salutes.”

FOCUS ON THE TRUTH, PEOPLE. Stop being cowed by jewish hysteria. If you don’t stand up for your own people, no one will.

He said, “Hail Victory!”, which translates to Sieg Heil. Earlier in the speech, he had talked of using words “in the original German.” He used other words that were the English equivalent of Nazi era slogans.

The arm gesture was deliberately ambiguous. I was just making a toast – *wink wink*

And he was greeted with real Nazi salutes from the audience in response.

This is from an ally in Austria. Posted as a comment to one of Spencer’s statements attempting to damage control. I hadn’t even seen this before posting my prior comments about reports of fallout in Europe. So this is further evidence of the harm Spencer has caused.

I’m as right wing as anyone here and really don’t understand this love of the Nazis.

There are two main strands here:

    1) historically the Nazis can only be considered losers. Losers who committed genocide whilst losing;

    2) it’s getting on for a century since communism and fascism came to power. Neither ideology has much to offer us living here in the 21st century; we will need to develop our own philosophies.

      No genocide.

It’s all jewish lies designed to prevent White pride and White consciousness in our people.

The Germans only lost their bid for freedom because the ZOG US jumped in and was funding the Soviet war effort.

We don’t have to, we shouldn’t, copy them, but we can honor them. We can honor NS Germany, we can honor the CSA, we can honor all of our heroic ancestors going back to Greece and Rome.

Leftists openly admire Communist murderers, but we can’t admire our guys? *emphatic headshaking*.

“Hail Victory” has been part of the lyrics of American football’s Redskins fight song since 1937. The whole stadium sings it every time the team scores a touchdown (so yeah, infrequently).

It’s a type of knee-jerk rebellion kind of thing.
I spent a couple of years in east TN, and the number of especially young people who describe themselves as ‘Satanists’ in east TN and western NC is astounding.
It’s their way of rebelling against the extremely, thickly oppressive atmosphere created by Southern Baptism, which is rather choking, even to an outsider like myself.
They are looking for what they believe to be the exact opposite of the dominant culture/religion, not realizing that in order to be a ‘Satanist’, you first have to accept the Christian world view.
I think the key is to restore the Nazis and all their stuff to their rightful place in history: About 17 years total, 12 years in power.
      That’s it.
The history of Germany – in various forms – goes back over 1000 years, the history of Whites much, much more.
The Nazis really shouldn’t be more than a chapter in a very, very long story.

Spencer will go on in some shape or damaged form. He just burned a major bridge, and most of the savvy folks who attended his last conf will be treating the guy w/ extreme caution (as a pariah or rain man) going fwd. If you watch the video closely, it is clear that he was being too reckless with the brand, and gave the msm a major propaganda tool. A lot of folks on this thread are using the logic of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend..” Sure he can be your friend – just don’t let him be the face of the movement. I reckon Alt Right as a brand will become known as the obscure refuge of S**tdisturbers who aren’t ready for the big leagues. All the major players will either start a new brand or simply disown the guy.

Richard Spencer is no more a Nazi than Tobey McGuire is a super hero. These are simply caricatures developed in order to put forth a narrative. They are childishly superficial, predicated not upon their own self image but on those created by others and good only for the amount of time in which they can maintain a desired perception by the creators of that narrative.

Every White male living in the USA will be called a racist/misogynist/homophobe at some point in their life regardless of behavior, beliefs, etc.

Anyone who rejects the Official Narrative publicly will be called a nazi.

Anyone who advocates publicly for themselves, their family or their friends on behalf of their identity as a White will likely find themselves the object of a media witch hunt.

Anyone who survives that, economically, socially, mentally will discover that they were correct in most of their assumptions and get on with their life. The relationships that survive this firestorm will be better because they will prove immune to both social and economic fallout. Be prepared to create a life that is anti-fragile, i.e. not dependent upon others for your own sustenance and support and you will emerge stronger and more resilient.

These are realities of the day and age in which we live. Only you are required to live with yourself for the rest of your life and the thoughts inside your own head. It is a form of self denial to give in to beliefs and opinions that are not the product of your own life experience. You can and the majority of people do, in fact. That is a choice you must make for yourself.

Those who choose to distance themselves from you based on what people who do not know you have said about you are not your real friends, nor would they ever support you in the event of a real crisis in life so you are better off without them. Those who remain loyal will themselves be strengthened by your resolve in moving forward.

True freedom comes from one source alone- self. You either give it up to remain ‘acceptable’ within the larger framework of whatever current belief system is popular and politically expedient at the time or you claim it for yourself by exercising your God given right to believe what you like based on what you know and believe to be true.

There is no protection from your opponents targeting and singling you out for ridicule and ostracism. There is no behavior, no amount of goodwill or prior decency exhibited that will shield you from their attacks should they choose to select you.

Live your life in whatever way best suits your beliefs and needs. If it means pretending to be something you are not, do it. If means exercising your liberty in whatever form it takes as the mood strikes, be aware of the risks and make sure that you plan for the eventualities that may follow. Real life does not take place in the pages of a newspaper or in the ether of the Internet, it happens wherever you are and it is yours alone, not the majority opinion.

I live in shitlib central and the reaction to Spencer is different than 2 years ago.
People are paying attention…it’s getting unlimited coverage. Even NPR interviewed him and was a decent interview. It’s getting a message out there. Maybe younger people are googling this Richard Spencer and then finding CH or even Anglin.
Jared Taylor has disavowed him. Taylor’s generation did nothing except pontificate in private meetings. NPI was basically that but now it’s evolving and getting bigger.
Spencer and Trump have huge flaws. But they and anybody else are not the end result just parts in am evolving movement.

What’s interesting about Spencer is that, similar to Milo, he likes to say edgy stuff (gas the kikes!! lollolol kill all queers!! lolol hang ’em niggers high lollolol edgy!! lolollllll sieg heil seig heil seg heil seigheil segheel segillololollollolozo). However, also similar to Milo, he likes to talk like a fag. In a way milo and spencer are very similar people – they both say edgy stuff and they both have very gay mannerisms. I’d say the biggest issue with spencer isn’t his edginess, it’s the fact that he likes to act gay. There’s no way that guy hasn’t sucked a dick.

Therefore, given that spencer’s gay, it’s really hard to take anything he says as being sincere. It’s very similar to a jew becoming a leader of the AR, or a negro becoming the leader, etc. What makes anyone here think a Jew or a negro’s gonna allow white nationalist principles to come to fruition? What makes anyone here truly think a faggot’s gonna allow conservative principles — which are all explicitly anti-faggot — to become a reality? Not a chance in heillolol

So Steve Bannon is now under pressure because of the Spencer’s Nazi antics. Don’t be surprised now if the Trump administration (in cabinet picks, policy, and rhetoric) is forced to move leftward to distance itself from Spencer. Well done, everybody.

    Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Trump can win support among African-Americans and Hispanics, he said, if the new administration can deliver on a “unifying message” of strong schools, safe streets and jobs.

“And condemning any kind of form of racism or hatred that’s out there,” Bannon said.

The fears of those who think racist groups have been energized by Trump’s hard-line campaign stances against immigrants and Muslim refugees were heightened last weekend when the National Policy Institute, led by alt-right figure Richard Spencer, held a gathering in Washington that included Nazi salutes and shouts of “Hail Trump!”

In a Breitbart post titled “An Establishment Conservative’s Guide to the Alt-Right,” written by openly gay right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, Spencer was included in a rundown of “dangerously bright” alt-right intellectuals.

When asked about the scenes from the alt-right conference, Bannon said he does not follow Spencer’s group and does not know much about it.

Breitbart’s mission, he said, calls for “more voices, not less,” with no single line of thought dominating the site. Race-based nationalism, he said, is a “non-starter.”

Somebody who has been in the game a long time fighting for immigration restriction like JD Hayworth or Tom Tancredo could tell you that optics and strength of megaphone are huge in winning (or losing). If we end up not getting an immigr moratorium or a wall or stopping the refugee scam, we can look to events like RS’s speech as the fodder for our opponents. The irony is that nobody even need “disavow” RS. Simply to concede that he is an immature publicity hound who put his status seeking ahead of the good of the movement.

Richard Spencer’s poison continues to spread. It is now threatening Trump’s immigration restriction policy agenda.

The path of destruction is straightforward.

–Spencer brands the Alt Right as a neo-Nazi, ethnic cleansing, White separatist movement.
–He links the Alt Right to Trump
–He states that limiting immigration is a step toward the goal of White supremacy (neo-Nazi, ethnic cleansing, ethnostate).
–Trump’s immigration restriction proposals come to be seen as a step toward the goal of White supremacy and eventual ethnic cleansing in the United States.

Agreed that vox, salon, huffpo, nyt etc are neurotic liberal echo chambers. The problem is that their crap makes its way onto news aggregators like att.yahoo.com and sometimes seeps into AP stories, or onto CNN which still has a few thin shreds of cred in some centrist voters’ eyes (or hopes). It probably gets play in Euro press channels too where there is less alt right presence to push back against it.

Listened to Spencer’s latest podcast & he is chastened, but unbowed. Gotta admit, he is articulate, and clever. The problem is he also has a delusion that he can play the role of the badboy Dr. No or Goldfinger, and really rattle the msm, move the Overton, etc. If he could genuinely move the Overton with proposals that are at least credible (like paying some admitted refugees to return home), that might be a useful way for those of us slightly to his left to triangulate off him. However, his policy stuff may just end up evoking Yugoslavia type civil war scenarios. The msm is going to gladly oblige him all the coverage he wants, so he can utter “Alt Right” and “Trump” plus whatever daring thoughts he has in between. Apparently he has an event lined up at Texas A&M soon, and we can brace for that dustup. If he does more of the play acting, his (former) allies will soon be regarding him more as the Great Cornholio than Dr. No.
