With Trump in office there is a 4-year window to reach out with blogs, social media, and other forms of activism. There is a significant chunk of the left that can still wake up if they come across the right (alt) information at the right time.
With all the problems out there (and yes they are MANY) I am not ready to write off America just yet. I am not poolside. Maybe I am foolishly optimistic but I think things can turn around – if not for us in our time, maybe in our children’s time. But now is the time to create a beachhead and then push forward.

The more I see of liberal obstinacy in detecting and adjusting to reality (e.g. the DNC actually considering making Ellison chair after the election. I thought, “OK, lose the next election, too.) the more that I think we cannot avoid a Spanish Civil War of our own.I can hear and argue with their ideas but they cannot even listen to us. Indeed, they are afraid of certain words and simply cry after hearing them used in neutral discussions about other people’s remarks.
When I read about that war (SCW) these days, it is much easier to understand the animosity each side felt for the other. Someone here posted a video of two libs harassing a man just for wearing a Build-the-Wall T shirt. My only desire on watching the video was to kill the numale and take the woman as a prize.

I suspect that this is all Trump can do – just buy the U.S. more time. At best, he might be able to buy a couple of decades, not likely two centuries. As CH says, the time scale will almost certainly be compressed in comparison to Rome, such is the extent of the rot. Unlike the ancient Romans, the elites of Western civilization have a death wish.
