Millennial Patriotism (don’t laugh)

January 25, 2017 by CH

Millennial hipsters, whatever generation follows them, and late Gen Xers have spent a lot of cultural capital ironically appropriating Americana, like trucker hats, lumberjack beards, and pearl button western shirts. But then a funny thing happened along the way to empty, wry, anti-fashion signaling.

When ironic stances become so ingrained (either by choice or necessitated by indigence) they’re indistinguishable from sincere adoption. I think this is what’s happening now among, yes, the faggiest, most hypersensitive and solipsistic generation in American history: the Millennials.

There are reports from the urban trenches of murmurings of Millennial patriotism — real patriotism that includes support for immigration controls and a genuine desire to connect with heartland America. Is it real and lasting? I don’t know, but Trumperica exerts a preternatural pull on its most constitutionally intransigent foes, turning them ever so slowly toward enlightenment. I don’t have the data before me, but I recall reading that Millennials voted the LEAST liberal and Democreep in 2016 of any youth generation before it.

America is very ill, but don’t count her out yet. That red pill is on the way.

These reports don’t surprise me. The Millennials of my acquaintance are remarkably conservative and Red-Pilled, to a much greater level than I was initially led to believe.

They finally have a strong father figure in Trump who cares and gives a damn and doesn’t back down from anything or anyone and gets done what he says he’s gonna do.

Not every German name is J3wish.
Americans have a VERY strong tendency – because Hollywood, because 1930’s, because conditioning – to see everything German through a heavily J3wish-tinted lens.

Some of us had a strong father figure to begin with at home!

I’m 26, quite a few of my peers are red pilled or at least pretty hardline conservative albeit purple pilled. Could just be birds of a feather flocking together though.

I question the overall trend of millennial patriotism as a whole. There are still a lot of f@ggy idiots who act all faux patriotic and manly just as a trend and status signal. Facebook shows me this daily. It’s still a liberal echo chamber but more truth breaks through the cracks every hour

I’m 28. I got tired of being told incessantly that I was the source of all evil for being a white male. And the kids in college today have it much, much worse than I ever did. Amazing how much can change in a few years. It’s only a matter of time before these kids stumble upon Mike Cernovich or the Golden One or Return of Kings on the internet and finally get to hear someone say that they can be proud of who they are. It’s pretty damn refreshing, and young guys are going to be flocking to the alt right in droves if they’re not already.

Fucking nailed it. This is exactly what’s going to happen in the next decade unless the lib media’s cultural vicegrip is totally overrun. Which is to say they’re fucked either way.

      Youths *rebel*. Period.

The current cultural norm is an anti-white, anti-male, virtue signaling PC bizarroworld. But where there’s a mainstream American culture there will be an American counterculture springing up from the next generation. And 40-year-old shitlib celebrities telling kids born in the 2000s how to think is, from the youth pov, functionally no different than 40-year-old suits telling kids born in the 1950s how to think. There’s still a fucking grownup standing over you telling you what to do.

It’s funny to watch this cycle go unnoticed. The libs genuinely think they are still the counterculture of the 1960s. Not even close.

The Great Meme War gave them the first real taste of younger, sharper, wittier people rebelling against *them*. Their response? “You’re all literally Nazis.”

TGMW of ’16 is a drop in the bucket compared to what’s coming. I’m seeing genuine fear from the liberals in my neck of the woods. My fb feed is riddled with fake news and pleas for folks to call their representatives and “I’m so scared” and “I can’t believe this is happening.” Glorious to behold.

      > “how do you rebel” ——— A couple of days ago, I was thinking about that: How would the Frankfurt School construct a counter-cultural response to the alabaster-White Trumpenkrieg? And my whole life, the obvious answer would be to go primitive, and create a “Roots” miniseries and a “Mandingo” miscegenation pr0n movie, get a member of the Jackson 5 to cover a soundtrack for “Ben”, maybe push Samuel Jackson into a few “Shaft” blaxploitation movies. But after Ghey Mulatto, the Frankfurt School has completely shot their wad in that regard. So where do (((the psychiatrists))) go now to appeal to the White Sh!tlib Insula?

the information age likely bspells the end of frankfurt school 1.0. unless somehow control of the web-verse is consolidated around a power node that has the extinction of the white race as it’s core premise, but I just can’t see that happening with so much infrastructure being required to maintain it.

so if the laws of survival-of-the-fittest hold in the web-verse, then theoretically it should become increasingly difficult to spread propaganda and control people with bogus information and anti-facts.

if there’s a frankfurt school 2.0 it would have to include another innovation in bioengineering, like assexual reproduction, neuroenhancers, genetically-modified humans who have Aryan beauty without the pesky nationalist tendencies, the ability to choose the skin color of your child, VR sex that thoroughly demotivates people, orgasms-on-demand thru your smart phone, etc.

they’ll put they’re evil brains to work on something especially awful that further erodes our humanity for sure. and then the cycle will repeat itself.

unless there’s some sort of intervention….

The millennial generation is the most diverse ever in US history. If you separate out White millennials, you will find they are far more conservative than their parents and grandparents were at that age. This trend will increase as cuckservatism dies off. A lot of young White men can’t connect with traditional Republicans like Mitt Romney, but as Trump injects pure testosterone into the GOP, it will find more youthful support.

This may have been going on a while. As a disclaimer, this is only one data source, but Pew Research exit polls after the 2008 and 2012 elections found that White voters under 30 voted for Obama by + 9 points in 2008, but the crop of White voters under 30 in 2012 went for Romney +7. Pew’s numbers may be off, but a 16 point swing shows something real happened.
The only reason Obama carried the overall under 30 vote both times is because non-Whites voted for him by 50 points, 75-25.

I think of Gens X and Y as sort of ‘lost’ between major cultural shifts.
Gen X still experienced normalcy, but saw it slipping away so slowly that it almost went unnoticed, except maybe in a growing sense of unease and disenfranchisement.
Gen Y was too young during the last more or less normal years to really notice, so they pretty much accepted black as white, grass as being red and water running uphill.
I see a lot of hope in Generation Millenium, a lot of them seem to sense that something is wrong, but never having experienced normalcy, can’t quite put their finger on what it is.
      Let’s help them.

Then the unattached men between 30-60 would have all the guns, trajning and experience using military assets. In addition, they would have no regard for you on any level since theyd know you sent them out to die. And the best part is, because these are older men, theyd have minds of their own and a thoughtfulness and long term planning, that younger men have more difficulty with,

In another words, youd be handing the men 30-60 control. Good plan, Im all for it!

If you take a close look at Trump’s MAGA hat, it looks just like the “trucker style” baseball cap hipsters have been wearing for the last ten years. Was this a deliberate move on the part of Trump to subconsciously subvert millennials? Trump even got the Ugg wearing hipster jock-fag Tom Brady to rock the MAGA hat, until he was forced into hiding by his ball busting Amazon wife Giselle.

Looks like a state with fairly old, fairly white demographics, basically leaned well to the Trump side overall (not a close call), with lots of brainwashed gen X and older millennials, but lots of disillusioned young millennials. Rust belt, but not one of the real close ones like WI or MI.

Let’s also not forget music. Hipsters of both those generations love the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds.” That album is a gateway drug to California’s music and culture from the old days for many. And you can’t love that time period without some sense of white consciousness and thinking “What the has hell happened since then?”

I used to go to Beach Boys concerts when I was a teenager in the ’80s. They shaped my ideas and ideals of what women would look like when I grew up. Sadly, the American women of today don’t equal what I saw during that time.

For some fun-but-wistful viewing, look up their 1980 concert on the mall in DC (this is the concert that used to be broadcast on HBO a lot). The audience is shown in the film, and it was a sea of thin, healthy-looking babes. Everywhere you looked was hotness. I’ll bet no one then knew what a “hijab” was — or cared.

Thanks for the heads’ up on that. On Netflix, there’s a documentary of the 1983 US festival, a huge 3 day event that took place outside LA — 1 day for new wave, 1 day for metal, and 1 day for pop.

I was watching it and noted similar things about the audience. I grew up out there and was in 10th grade during the US festival. Some people I knew went to it but I didn’t.

Interesting window back to the Gen X times.

Agree with a couple comments above…White youth do not know what “winning” feels like, just like they cannot appreciate (in many areas) what an all-White community feels like. When you live in shit, shit becomes your norm. That is (((their))) plan, to lower expectations with every passing generation, until people are satisfied to live like low-caste Indians do today. That is so true. When I lived in Louisiana we had to take great precautions and be constantly vigilant for black crime, even in so called ‘nice neighborhoods’.

The people there assume it’s like that everywhere. When you try to explain what it’s like walking into an establishment staffed by Whites as compared to the typical black staffed places in Louisiana, they look at you like you have 3 heads. Same if you tell them how you don;t have to lock your car every time you get out of it, even at the gas pump.

After you’re immersed in it you forget. I wasn’t raised there and moving there as a 19 year old was a great shock to my liberal world view. My red-pilling began shortly thereafter.

I disagree. There’s a conservative undercurrent, but millennials are mostly liberal. Fortunately for us: they’re too lazy to actually protest. Yeah, people still take to the streets, but most of them just virtue signal and post shit about Trump on Facebook. Too fickle to actually do anything but feign true concern. Their parents got arrested at Woodstock; they come out of the closet on Twitter and hashtag it.

I’m 30 and my closest friends are conservative. We were having breakfast the other day and making conversation about the MAGA hats. Someone made a joke about another friend of ours, and asked if he wore the hat to his recent job interview. The waiter… 21, 22… was pouring our coffee and asked, “One of you guys has one of those?”

Guy had no idea the liberty he was taking. A fucking waiter. His comment was out of the blue and unprovoked. Basically revealed himself to be an eavesdropper by interjecting himself into a customer’s conversation. But hey, it had to do with Trump… so he was doing right by his generation.

Great link. It could have been written by the Millennial son of a liberal woman I used to work with at a newspaper. It’s about time I shared this story. It’s the story of a liberal woman turning rabidly conservative within the space of one day.

This woman and her kid were white and lived in the ‘burbs, which she felt were “too white.” So at the start of one summer in the early 1990s, she told me she sent him to a camp run by minorities so the kid could have a “black experience.” She didn’t want him to be prejudiced. Within the first day, a black counselor had punched out the kid. The kid called her at work crying, begging to be taken home. She left work and got him. He never went back.

According to this woman, she exploded at the camp people and said something like “I wanted him to have the ‘black experience.’ Thanks for showing him what the real black experience is!” She then told this story to all of us. I always wondered what that kid grew up thinking about racial issues.

Large numbers of people who were not already on our side wanted change, anything that looked like change.

Bernie was that guy, and when they felt shafted, they went for the other perceived change agents. Trump wisely made a direct appeal, and also wisely never attacked any fence sitters as the equivalent of deplorables…

Sooner or later, the Dems will see that they have to shun Hillary and anyone too close to her, as pay back for the blown opportunity.

Millennials are defined as 18-35, do we agree?

I think 9/11 and constant war has hardened us older ones.

We were 18ish when the planes hit the towers. We could’ve responded two ways – “omg those poor mooslems what did we do to anger them” or “you camel jockeys just messed up big time” and that shaped how you viewed the world. I was the former but then I studied up and become the latter.

I also remember life before social media and was 13ish when the internet became big with dial up, and instant messengers and chat rooms. I never had a cell until I was 18.

I know how to be social and well adjusted because I wasn’t nose deep in my smart phone, and so I understand the big bad world. These younger ones have ONLY known social media and cell phones, which means they’re constantly on them and exposed to the world differently than I was when 18-22.

So we are exposed to similar ideas, but in different mediums, and have similar reactions. Further, our communities and families have been affected in the same ways by stupid foreign policy, bad trade deals (NAFTA), illegal immigration, etc.

Millennials get a bad wrap because they are narcissistic and seek approval from others who otherwise wouldn’t give a hoot about them if they passed them in the street or hallway. And the weak, annoying and disgusting seem to be more weak, annoying and disgusting than your typical weak, annoying and disgusting persons.

Another point – millennials have been exposed to hyper PC most of their lives (us older ones) or all of their lives (those about 25 or younger), and eventually nature takes its course and the millennial knows something is “off.” He wakes up by finding something on reddit, gets his heart broken and comes to CH to learn about women but stays for the 1488, finds out his dad lost his job to an illegal or move to Mexico, or finds out a good buddy got blown up in the sandbox. OR he keeps popping those blue pills thanks to the pressure to be a goodwhyte

–We were 18ish when the planes hit the towers.

This and similar accounts reminds me that we GenXers came of age in a reality that does not exist any more — the 1980s White America as a teenager and the 1990s as a young adult, with Grunge and its White pathos aesthetic. (And in my case 1970s childhood in a misty idyllic paradise behind the Iron Curtain — no sarc — but that’s neither here nor there).

The thing is, most of us X’ers not have young chIdren, which reconnects us with the here and now and makes us part of their formative reality.

The Bush Presidency was a disaster and Iraq created a whole era of shitlibs.
The first real war of the information age and the lies used to sell it were easily exposed.
White kids started hating their country and hating white men and masculinity was seen as war mongering.
Patriotism was seen as war mongering.

The muzzies only 2 years after 911 were seen by many as victims.
It nearly finished the GOP forever until you know who came along.

That’s why Trump for me feels like going back to the last good normal decade…the 1980s.

Nothing was the same for me after 9/11. In many ways, I was in a deep depression. No, not the mopey, woe-is-me kind, but the kind where you’re numb to many things, you know something severe just happened, and given this country, it should never have happened, but it did. That kind of depressing.

I’m with Lichtoff in how this country seems to be redirecting itself to the top dog, no bs type of America I remember as a kid during the 80s and like PA said, with the 90s, where I was just starting to come into my own.

The 00s feel like a lost time for me. I entered the 10s with that same kind of numbness, irrelevance, just kind of “there” attitude, and that all changed in 2014. Now that we’re righting the ship, feels like coming back home. Like when I came back home for Christmas after freshman year away at school.

My way of dealing with 911 was to briefly place misguided faith in GWB. I wanted revenge. I thought there was going to be a retaliatory cleansing of Islam from the US and Europe. That hope lasted briefly, and I’ve loathed Bush for his numerous betrayals like no other president since. My hate for him has tempered down a bit as it now seems he pushed back on the worst of neocon ambitions. But he will burn in hell for what he did to Iraq. Restored America will spit on his grave for his Amnesty push.

My hatred for Dubya was so strong that I voted for Obongo in 2008. McCain was more Bush and Palin was the dumbest thing on earth. I was blinded by hate. By 2009 I knew I made a mistake. No matter how bad McCain was, Obongo was the worst. I sat out 2012.

I still hate Iraq to this day. No doubt it and 9/11 hardened my heart. Again, my adult life and the life of millions of millennials…all we’ve known is war. It made me love and hate my country. Love it because it wasn’t fucked up like the mooslem world. Hate it because I was tired of losing. Losing life, resources, money, and our identity.

        Thank God for Trump.

        “all the Googles leapt up”

I was in an Army mess hall and they all leapt up, while we all sat shell-shocked. Our black squad member who sat to my right, whom we all liked as “cool,” was orgsmic. That is when I learned that there may be no such thing as friends-before-tribe.

One exception to their touchdown dance: an ancient black female cafeteria employee stood by the rack where we turn in our trays and muttered “you got money, you get away with mrdr…”

I had originally mentioned seeing that on TV in my comment, but it got et.

Yeah, that was the most telling thing… the alleged best and brightest of their race, the college students, cheering like this n1gger murdering two White people and getting away with it was some sort of ball game.

The fact that PA mentioned they did the same thing in the Army just solidifies his impression, and mine, that THAT was the moment we realized there is no negotiating, no reconciliation, no HOPE of common ground with these (ahem) people… hence, ‘Murrica was truly fucked until Whites again found a way to separate, which looks like it would never happen short of a break-up into separate ethnostates… a longshot, at best, from the viewpoint of the 1990’s.

There is a timeline over which you can track America’s falling out of lurv with and eschewing their sense of “uplift” obligation to the post-civil rights Negro. The 80s were a detente; some land was ceded (inner cities), peace in the suburbs. Then, HUD happened, and the following:
        – OJ reaction
        – James Byrd daughter’s snarling anti-W ad
        – Katrina: opened our eyes to the Rwanda within
        – Halle Berrys ingrate tantrum at the Oscars
        – Trayvon’s girlfriend. Everyone expected a cute light skinned black girl, the tragic Juliet to his Romeo… and they saw THAT. And all of White America, liberal and conservative, understood that there is no uplifting of that.

At an old job, this one black lady–nice lady, maybe not SMRT enough to be in the talented tenth, but definitely above dindu status–thought OJ was guilty and brought up the simple fact that he had a lame alibi. He never had a solid alibi, it was some hogwash, bollocks of an alibi that didn’t hold water with her.

A few days later, she was shaking her head, cause some n-bombs were being dropped–either music or other dindus, actual dindus in the office–were saying. She was saddened that so many had died and suffered to try to stop that word from being used. At my young age at the time, it was a heavy moment. Not a feel-sorry type moment, but to get another side you seldom see or hear, and right in your face, too.

I often felt OJ timed it just right to get away with it because the Rodney King riots were still fresh in everyone’s mind. And he knew that if he was found guilty, the city would implode right on cue. Man could be pictured holding the blood knife, with claw marks on his body and they still would have found him not guilty. More so as an effe you to Whitey and the LAPD.

… with some ‘groided out n1gger who killed the WHITE mother of his children and some innocent WHITE bystander with a knife in the most brutal of manners.

Millennial reporting from behind enemy lines in the estrogen gas chamber known as the Bay Area. I can say that millennials are waking up and saying enough is enough. And the there is a swagger with the millennials that leave the effeminate, half-men with their Bernie and Coexist bumper stickers foaming with rage and scurrying to their coffee shops in fear.

The reality is young, proper Americans are sick of being born guilty of being white and American. No generation before has had to be born into a world where they are guilty from birth and expected to accept shame and admonishment for their imaginary crimes and the state of non-whites.

Millennials lack shame, and in this political climate that is actually a good thing. We aren’t afraid to say and do things past generations would be to embarrassed to say and do. That is why many older Americans are paralyzed when assaulted by the Marxist left; their sense of decency kicks in and prevents them from fighting back. That level of decency that was taught to past previous generations is lacking in this generation and it is actually an asset. That shameless, fearless bravado is manifesting itself politically.

I think the most rabid right-wing response will actually be from millennials due to the reality that we have never enjoyed a lot of the aspects of America that a lot of other generations have enjoyed. We have simply read about the good old days but never really had them. More significantly, we are feeling pressure from anti-America that threatens us more than anything. Remember, we are young in age, other generations are older and a lot closer to death thus they are less significant in the grand scheme. The left is attacking the youth the hardest because we are the future and submission/compliance is necessary for their freak show to become a reality.

      Astute.

I was in the Bay Area for work last summer and saw a millennial and his friend with a Trump shirt and hat walking out of their home near the marina, a more expensive area of the city than most. I complimented them and one told me they don’t deal with much crap while wearing the Trump stuff because most liberals there are pansies.

Michael Savage lives out there and talks a lot about the city and state degeneracy. He calls it San Fransicko.

The ancient Hebrews knew no triune God… and Jesus Himself mentions that there are things only the Father knows.

And then there are the NT writers who often give greetings in the name of the Father and Son, but somehow leave out any mention of a third personage.

Admittedly, this is a topic for another day, and cannot be discussed in a few sentences.

No one ever said there wasn’t a Holy Spirit… just like we ourselves, made in the image of God, have a spirit, so does He. And like our spirit, it is the impetus (or power, if you will) by which the desires and plans of His will are set into motion and made manifest.

But it’s not a separate entity, no more than ours. We’re not twins, as individuals, because we have a spirit. Neither is God. And if we have a son who obeys our will and fulfills our plans, we’re not triplets either, or one being comprised of three separate identities.

This whole “Trinity” thing always struck me as a man-made obfuscation.

O/T I have put up a new video re issues in unarmed self defense. In this video I reflect on the basic question “What is a self defense situation?”.

This is an important question bcs we can’t really train for something until we have a working definition of what it is. The video is rather long – 43 mins – but in considering this issue I do comment on 68 clips of real streetfights and that may be enough to give us at least some idea of the basic realities of public violence. Two or three of the clips I critique at some length.

I hope that some readers find something useful in it that they didn’t know before.

One of the things that started me leaning conservative way back in college was thinking that my progressive ideas would be met with appreciation by feminist professors and minorities. No matter what I said, these people hit back with nasty anti-white bigotry — and hard.

Lefties might have “lofty” ideals, but they’re usually repulsive in person. This matters. It’s next to impossible to get behind a cause when you’re sickened by the people pushing it.

I actually had to drop an American Studies class because I was so at odds with the female professor, who seemed out of her mind. This was especially troubling because at the time I was already writing for the local newspaper and was such a good student that the dept. chair had requested I apply for the graduate program — and offered to be my advisor. And yet I had this woman dressing me down in class because of my opinions.

(We were discussing slang and the class was concentrated on the “urban way of speaking.” I brought up suburban slang, like “Valley Girl talk” and surfer lingo. This set her off and she actually said something to me like “Try saying something like ‘gnarly’ to someone in the city and see what happens to you.”)

There was no Internet then, so it would take a few years for me to put two and two together, but I wonder if white Millennials kids don’t experience this sort of blind white/male hatred earlier and harsher, especially when their friends are posting Buzzfeed crap on Facebook. And I wonder if that’s not what’s making them turn. Nothing like an angry feminist yelling at you in class to get you thinking “Er, maybe those conservatives have a point.”

It’s really simple, despite globalists thinking the opposite: people prefer being around their own. They prefer that their efforts result in benefits to them and theirs.

Watching some globalist belittle our achievements is likely going to repulse many, on a deep level.

I was too young to remember this personally, but from what I’ve heard from local talk radio hosts, this same phenomenon happened during the Reagan administration. When a strong President is in office and keeps his frame, the country tends to shift towards his direction, politically speaking. I wouldn’t be surprised if we witness this during the Trump administration.

For all the screeching and crying the libs are doing, it seems that the cultural war is slipping from their grasp.

I think it has to do with the dynamic between Millennials and their Boomer parents. Boomers chose degeneracy and progressivism. Millennials didn’t have a choice in the cultural revolution. It was already made for them. This lead them to cynicism about the sort of world that their parents chose out of naivete.

Millennials who are right wing are not cuckservative. So they are rebelling against both the liberals and the liberalized “conservatives” of their parents’ generation. Much like Boomers who thought they were rebelling against conformist American culture, Stepford Wives suburban bourgeois values, and the “authoritarianism” of pre-POZ America, Millennials are rebelling. Unlike the 60’s, this rebellion is not sold to them by The Rolling Stones and their college professors. It is a REAL rebellion.

I almost feel sorry for the Mexicans. They have a mix of envy/admiration/resentment for the gringo, and now the worst nightmare of a gringo is the top dog running the US, and they have to deal with him, lol.

The President of Mexico just made a blunder in refusing to start talking with Donald Trump on the basis of Mexico paying for the wall. If I was in his shoes, I’d agree to have Mexico pay for the wall, in exchange for US contractors buying cement from Mexico, and employing some Mexican workers.

The time for negotiations with the US which do not lead to a balanced outcome for both parties are over, and every single foreign leader should get that, but I guess some still don’t.

The Mexicans have taken, and keep on taking a lot from the US, and Mr. Trump has been very clear that it is time for them to give some it back. Asking them to pay for the wall is not unreasonable at all. And if they negotiate the whole thing nicely (and make DT look good in the process), they can still benefit quite a lot from it. or so I think,

One can only dictate terms to another, if one has some superior leverage, and the Mexicans have none. Mexico needs the US far far more, than the opposite, and they should swallow their pride and negotiate in good faith with the US.

the same could be said about the beaners’ gringo-looking benefactors: the shitlib traitor governors and mayors running the sanctuary shitties. the brown tides are threatening to overrun their respective social services, and they’re taking a hard-line with the guy who is working to fix it, and siding with illegals. wut???

I see a similar Trumpen-reich-type takeover coming at the state and local levels. the so-called “blue States” aren’t dead yet. they’re simply still stuck in an obama-induced coma. they’ll snap out of it quickly, though. same problem as at the Natl level: their power was built on a fragile coalition of feels junkies snowflakes. not gonna last. with the re-criminalization of illegal immigration patience among taxpayers for supporting beaners will drain out FAST.

It’s really amazing how stupid some these DT opponents are. He plays them like a fiddle, and they just keep on failing into his traps. It’s a never ending soap opera, and it’s hilarious.

Out of control illegal immigration, and garbage trade deals that punish the US working class are THE two issues that like a dormant volcano, have been gradually gaining pressure and more pressure, for decades, and Donald Trump was the catalyst that brought it all to the surface.

We’re entering a different era, with a whole new set of expectations for dealing with those two issues, and some people just haven’t caught up to it yet.

Alot of the Dems political persuasions are bullshit values like same sex bathrooms…safe spaces..affirmative action…policies that can be only enforced or even bothered with in rich stable (white) areas with jobs.

Once reality hits…these moral issues go out the window. People need food clothing shelter…jobs and Healthcare.
A man who needs a job to eat doesn’t give a damn about equality just like people on war zones don’t ponder the lack of female CEOs.

It’s not the millennials, it is what people call generation Z, the next one in line basically. Every generation rebel in one way or another, the problem with generation Y was that they didn’t rebel, they just exaggerated to absurd the mild “progressiveness” of generation X, the same way the second wave feminist exaggerated to absurd the progressiveness of the first wave feminists. Conclusion? generations need to either rebel or conform otherwise they just go to destructive extremes of what ever the opinion is.
