There was a moment when I could see Tom Brady’s body language shift in the pocket and a switch in my mind went, “Oh, Shit. He’s about to take this game over.”. It was the play after when the announcer pointed out that Tom Brady’s longest drive of the season was 91 yards and they stood to face an exact 91 yard drive. Winners love the pressure.

To clarify for those who don’t know this: Hillary’s campaign manager John Podesta, and the rest of the inner circle, believed she had the election in the bag but that Trump could win the popular vote. So instead of going to swing states in the final stretch they went to blue states in a get-out-the-vote effort, because that was where they could shore up the maximum number of votes.
Trump on the other hand kept campaigning in swing states, where he could only get a few thousands of votes more in each state, but that was enough to win the electoral vote.
One focusing on appearances, the other focusing on getting the job done.
It’s a lot like the Tortoise and the Hare. “He’ll never catch me,” thought the Hare. “I think I’ll have a nap for a while.”
Trump also tweeted this: “I could have won the ‘popular’ vote but went for the electoral vote. Different strategies!” Everyone who does campaigning knows this is true, but the media pretend they don’t know.
And in the end, it wasn’t Hillary’s campaigning in blue states that gave her the popular vote – she got it only through California, where she didn’t go. The enormous imported Mexican voting block in California gave her the pop vote. If the win percentage in California hadn’t been so unusually high, if it had instead been around the average win percentage for the blue states, then Hillary wouldn’t have won the popular vote.
I recommend Trump gives refugee status to every White in Rhodesia and South Africa, arranges for their transport across the Atlantic, and places them all in swing states. Front National got started in southern France, when Frenchmen fled there from Algeria after the government abandoned the land they had built.

a more immediate solution to the blue state treason problem is to reopen military bases there. the democrats under bill clinton used the excuse of “balancing the budget” to close dozens of military bases in what are now blue states. but they ended up taking that money and expanding the govt’s gibs programs. those military bases were right wing outposts. it was a deliberate strategy to swing the electorate to the democrats.
reopen the bases along the West coast and northeast and staff them with millions of red-blooded voters from the reddest states in middle America.

Teams do represent races, political groups, nations, economic classes etc. Real Madrid as their name suggest represent the Royalists from the Spanish civil war who wants to keep Spain intact. Their bigger rivals Barcelona represent the Catalan people who want to secede. Soccer is not entertainment like American sports, it has much deeper roots in real life.

Regarding German teams, look at the mayhem that going on around red bull leipzig, very political, east vs west, corporate vs fan owned etc. East Europe still has a lot of hooliganism, Roma-Lazio is still a fight between city and suburbia, Celtic-Rangers is still Catholics vs Protestants and with the brexit the political influence will be even bigger. Also this thing with “only two or three teams dominates the league”, some leagues has around 4 or 5, but it doesn’t matter, in soccer league championship is not everything. There is cup, there is champion league, Europa league, fights for a place on those leagues and fight against relegation. Been reading the book of Judges. Going to read John Calvin’s commentary along side it for a second reading. Seems like it is an account of the Jews’ constant bitching and Elohim finally giving in and giving them what they want after punishing them to death. Tells you something about being “Chosen.” God chose the right people to test His patience and prove His mercy and grace to humanity.

This is true Greg. The Pharisee parasites knew exactly what Jesus meant when He declared Himself to be the Son of God. It was a rejection of His own human Jewishness to the point of “blasphemy” against Judaism. Also a solid reference to the Trinity.
In the book of Luke, the Jews of Nazareth had the same violent reaction toward Jesus when He told them that they would not have any miraculous blessings given to them, because they were not capable of recognizing His divinity.

I meant beautiful in that he spoke the word of G-d, and the word of G-d is beautiful.
