Orwell possessed an intellect and foresight that ordinary people like us can hardly grasp. Coupled with that he was a genuinely good person. Indifference is the correct attitude most of the time. Most of what comes one’s way isn’t worth any expenditure of passion beyond the nominal sense (i.e. – for shitz and giggles sake). Sad but true. So instead I use up some passion in the gym to make sure the passion function is still in working order (cause it would be especially sad to lose some of that function). Fuck.
