Yesterday I posted 2 comments on a story in “The Hill” about the 9th Circuit Court’s ruling striking down Trump’s temporary immigration ban.
Guess which comment was removed?
First comment:
People who voted for Trump deserved to get beaten with metal rods by masked blackshirts at Berkeley.
Second comment:
“The plaintiffs in the case, Washington and Minnesota, maintain that the order violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, which prohibits the government from favoring one religion over another.”
If that’s the case, then the Jackson-Vanik Amendment to the Trade Act of 1974 is unconstitutional as well. That amendment favored Jews from the Soviet Union for immigration to the USA. It did NOT favor people of other religions for immigration which was effective negative discrimination against other religions and positive discrimination in favor of Jews.
The second comment was simply a statement of fact and connecting the dots on consistency of Constitutional principles. Yet it was deemed verboten and removed.
The first comment expressed [sarcastic] glee at political violence against Trump supporters. Yet it was left unmolested.
Let that sink in for a minute. The Hill management cannot bear even FACTS that might adversely affect Jews or perception of Jews. Yet they condone by non-removal the cheering of political violence.
I was curious, so I checked the management of The Hill. From Wikipedia:

PS The Establishment Clause applies to citizens of the United States. The fact that anti-White shitlibs have twisted the Judiciary to rule in favor of such a lunatic interpretation of the Establishment Clause proves just how far past the date we are for a massive and thorough house-cleaning of the courts. I was wondering what Synathedral meant.
It amazes me how intellectually curious Whites can fail to see the Jewish problem. They can contort their minds in any direction except that one.
I was red-pilled on Jews before race and well before women. Curiosity should drive an intelligent person to investigate topics which are “off-limits”. The more forbidden they are, the more scrutiny they deserve. The JQ is the only issue I can think of—race is a close 2nd—where there is absolutely no room for discussion, and should therefore raise a giant red flag to anyone capable of independent though.
When I was young (80s-90s) this kind of talk was only the purview of actual nazis, KKK, etc. I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t second-guess myself at the time, or wonder if I was being paranoid. But now the mask is finally starting to slip, and it’s clear to all who want to see.

The reason the question had and for most still has no room for discussion is because when people hear someone start talking about it they just see Auschwitz and don’t want to look. Who would?
The only way is to gently and calmly point out how the rules in each white person’s country are like this while Israel’s are like that. On exactly the same issues.
Then point at how the activists and architects of multiculturalism are J. Point them out one at a times as they pop up each time the issue pops up. Ask why they’re not leading the charge against Israel. The ruling hung not so much on the Establishment Clause, but on issues of Due Process for certain non-citizens. While “Every Juan, Dak and Habib” is not entitled to Due Process under the Constitution, legal aliens and other non-citizen Visa holders who were erroneously included in the original EO are. That, plus the fact that the order itself was not amended/reissued to reflect that state of affairs, is at the heart of the ruling. Add to that there was no Attorney General in place at the time the EO was issued and that the Trump Administration was forced to rely on lazy [careerist]/opposed [careerist]/unqualified [careerist] attorneys who put forth a weak argument in court and an extreme left-wing Judiciary in the Ninth Circus already far enough out of their minds without Trump riling them with the idea that the order was not subject to review [possibly a rookie mistake from which he’ll surely learn], and this ruling was inevitable.
Reissuing the order such that it does not apply to legal aliens and non-Citizen Visa holders and, while the Ninth Circus might invent some other excuse to stay it, it would be close to bulletproof before Justice Kennedy or the full Supreme Court.

Waiting a few days for his confirmation would not have hurt. And, as has been pointed out, all he needs to do is issue a new EO that addresses this matter, and the States have to litigate the whole matter over again.

If you want to argue against Due Process for persons here legally or legal visa holders, that’s an entirely separate discussion.
As it is, non-citizens who are here legally have certain Due Process rights that states of Washington and Minnesota argued, successfully, weren’t taken into account in the EO as issued, and that weren’t sufficiently addressed by the corrections made by WH Counsel.
If it said anything about the supposed Due Process rights of people who are not citizens, who do not have legal residency or lawful visas, I didn’t read it in the text of that decision.

The Cathedral makes more sense than the Synagogue for a number of reasons. The cultural prestige, the imposing architecture, the roots of elite academic institutions in old school Protestant Christianity.
You want to call it “the Synagogue” as a jab against Jewish liberalism, but the places where religious Jews worship have little to do with the cultural power of liberalism. They don’t evoke it.

Another thing that makes “Cathedral” more appropriate is the ideological organization and networking implied by the word. Catholicism is an organized, hierarchical religion. Another point I rarely see mentioned: Literature and music by (((them))) is often praised out of proportion to its actual artistic value, because its (((they))) are doing the reviewing and they favor their own. Does anyone really think Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, or Leonard Cohen warrant all the massive praise? Or Philip Roth?
This has brought us to a place where bad is seen as good and vice-verse. It’s gotten to the point where I now see reviews as a reverse barometer, even if (((they’re))) not writing them. Because others in the field feel peer-pressured to fall into line (insert Voltaire quote here).
It also bothers me they’re do entrenched in the publishing industry and give each other big-time book deals — so long as the books promote “transgressive” ideas. This is especially true with Young Adult fiction, where books are often advertisements to alternative lifestyles and/or Planned Parenthood. It’s all yentas doing the writing and making the deals, and it’s the brains of your kids getting warped.
(I’m leaving out film because I despise the waste-of-time medium, but the same goes for movies as far as I can tell.)

Yes Mahler’s symphonies nbr x, where x > 6, really stink. And his earlier symphonies have many dull moments. I was really amazed when I heard his seventh symphony for the first time at how bad it was.Yet he is promoted like he is the greatest symphonist since Beethoven.

No. Mahler’s 7th is his nadir only if you’re familiar with 1 thru 6 because it’s obvious he’s spinning his wheels, rehashing and plagiarizing former glories. But 8 thru 10 strike out toward new horizons, Mahler renewing his inspiration and craft — they’re excellent symphonies. Conductors and orchestras love Mahler because his symphonies are long and complex — great orchestral showpieces.
Mendelssohn is the only other (((composer))) of note, and he’s held in lower esteem than Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, and Wagner, all born within a couple years of (((him))).
