Women revelled in it and they enjoyed their low pressure low responsibility lives in the home.
Now they are miserable.

That Enfield sketch…that’s how it was for my Dad.
Born 1935…lived until 80.
Men hung out together to work…hunt..shoot…play and watch sport.
Women had coffee together but were expected to cook and clean for their man and had female rivalry on who was the better cook or who had the cleaner house.
That domestic rivalry is dead now.
The men would fawn over the best cook and the best cook was seen as a threat – a possible thief to steal their man.
Alot of inbuilt societal pressure to make your man happy.
Women did not care, understand or have any interest in politics.
They liked gossip and childlike things.
My Dad always dressed well..never wore jeans.
And to his death…any woman who had a political opinion he’d just laugh at them.
My mam was a beautiful blonde …cooked wonderfully well…cleaned……very well organized and was happy and content.
My standards for women were high…almost impossible by today’s standards.
We are lucky today with technological and scientific advances but culturally we live in shit times.
