HOW ABOUT THAT. The shitlibs controlling our information gateways will spend months loudly and insistently reporting on, and over-analyzing, a fake news story about White frat bros raping a girl at UVA while utterly burying or suppressing the details of a real news story about two brown border jumpers who in fact raped a 14 year old girl in a high school bathroom.

Rockville is a decent area compared to many others in the North of the Beltway and between Baltiwhore. Areas like Odenton and Glen Burnie are beyond gone, filled mostly with welfare Googles and Illegal Invaders. The Ruger LCR is extremely simple to safely operate even for a novice, it has no safety (which is a good thing) and it has a good long trigger pull — it won’t be going off unless you want it to. At a minimum, something like that should be on your person at home, especially if a wife or girlfriend or children are counting on you for protection.. Five rounds of 38 or 357 come in handy when dealing with wildlife.

Had an intern from UVA about 6 years ago. He was a “politico” type — U-guides and all that (UVA grads will understand).
He told me about his involvement in some peer sex assault counseling group. When he told me that 1 of 5 undergrads at UVA were “sexually assaulted” I laughed at his face. Absurd! He got upset. I was shocked to see that he actually believed it. Incredible.

My quick back-of-an-envelope calcs say that “1 in 5” works out to roughly 6.65 million “sexual assaults” at 4 year schools in the US (assuming the 20% happens every year, but with a fairly low estimate of the female population of those schools). If this is true, why would any college not be single sex with security like Leavenworth?

Someone mentione earlier the story of UNC student president Eve Carson and the shotgun blast to the head she got from her dindu captor.

When the Washington Post reported on this story, the online version didn’t allow reader comments. Several people mentioned this in a previous post here, but I thought it was worth repeating.
To their credit, the Post did do a follow-up article today (March 21). It’s headline “Suspect in rape at Maryland school was stopped 7 months ago by Border Patrol” and they’re allowing reader comments this time.
My guess is they got bombarded with reader anger. Liberal Montgomery County government wonks magically become conservative when the crap they push on the rest of the country hits home.

Hes going back to school using a free government tuition program. The program I am going back for requires to show work experience and/or competence in the field even to get admitted. 3+ years or certs that cost a weeks paycheck or more. Basically I have to work for my degree whereas he can ride off the tit of the government.
P.S. I once ran down the street in this very spot with the police after some liberals tried to murder me and an old friend.

My mom called me recently and I was telling her about a friend who suggested my wife and I buy some land in the Ouachita mountains of Arkansas near his homestead. It’s not happening because I don’t have $200,000 lying around.
When I related the story, my mom said, “You have land here anytime you want it,” referring to some of the family farmland in East Texas, probably a 94 acre tract or a 50+ acre tract, both off main roads, but there are similar parcels.
I can work remote from my clients, but I’m in Arkansas, so there’d be some adjustment on that front. Alternatively, I can start working the property really hard, and that might be another source of income. Meanwhile, my wife is transitioning out of her corporate job to a consulting partnership. My daughter’s about to finish college locally, and my son’s about to finish grade school. My office lease is up summer of next year.
I’ve told my wife repeatedly for years that I wish my mom had taken the offer of her grandfather to build her (& her family) a house and give her land, and so I’m wondering if this is the moment of truth.
So, guys, here’s the question: if your retirement age mom (& dad, who could use the help with his retirement farming) offered to give you 10%-25% of the family farm, would you take the offer, or not?

It’s not entirely clear from your description, but it sounds as if your parents are offering to give you a ~94 acre or a ~50 acre piece of land.
Why not take it?
Is the condition for receiving the land that you move down there? If so, that’s an interesting question but highly subjective and highly dependent on the area we’re talking about and your current situation in Arkansas versus how things would be in Texas.
I knew a guy who moved from Texas to Arkansas to live on a homestead, and then he and his wife missed Texas so they sold that and moved back to live on a homestead in Texas. So at least some parts of Texas compare favorably with Arkansas.
Both Texas and Arkansas seem to be pretty good places to raise your son.
You could do quite a lot to prepare for what’s coming on a 50 acre parcel of land in a relatively free state like Texas.

Moving to Texas from Arkansas would decrease the proportion of surrounding whites, and the properties aren’t especially defensible – they’re just farm parcels – but I suppose something is better than nothing, and kin is better than ethnics.
