But human “interests” include a wide range of goals – food, peace, defense, reproduction, luxury – and these goals can’t be achieved by any man alone.
Even if a man wishes to achieve his goals by enslaving others, at any significant scale that will require the cooperation of others.
And from the necessity of cooperation we get to the need for reciprocation – for who will work with me if there are no rewards to be had?
Even the feudal idea of owing allegiance to a leader is – while hierarchical – still cooperative and involves an idea of mutual rights and obligations.
So interests may be greater than rights but they nonetheless must ultimately lead to rights or they will not be satisfied.

I believe those of us born in the mid-to-late 1980s are likely the very last generation that will remember what it was like to have lived in some semblance of a culturally white America. It’s disturbing to think that anyone born after roughly 1992 and reared on internet, social media and rap music never got a real taste of what America was all about.
I remember going to southern country fairs in the late 80s and early 90s and being around the older folks, many of them WW2 vets and their wives. There was such a genteel, refined quality to these events. In my town there were still vestiges of 50s America. The barbershop, the family-owned soul food restaurant, the drug store where you could still go get a handspun milkshake from the old guy who’d built the damn place and worked there 40 years, knew everybody in town.
It was dying back then but it’s dead as stone now. That entire way of life has disappeared in every major metropolitan area in America. Only driving through some random sleepy south Georgia towns do I ever get a glimpse of that feeling. And even then it’s usually just the shell of the old world. The way of life is gone.
The degree of brainwashing found in kids a mere decade younger astonishes. They are ruthless and remarkably cunning in their own self-censorship and self-limitation. They *champion* ideologies that directly assault their way of life, their history, their culture, their safety and their future.
I see that pocket of millennial whites born between 1992-2002 as the generation that will actively destroy our country forever. The older millennials born in the 80s for all our faults have mainly been a bunch of harmless fat lazy fucks playing video games and fapping to porn in mom’s basement. We grew up soft but not evil. We didn’t give a fuck about the issues.
The younger post-2002 millennials will be much sharper and hyper-aware to the realities having grown up being called racist/sexist/nazi every hour. Unfortunately they’ll be outnumbered and culturally (economically, socially) pinned down by the time they reach maturity. Unless a major rebellion happens within the next 5-10 years I just don’t see a way out of this shitstorm if I’m being honest.

I can just BARELY remember the drugstore luncheon counter from my childhood.
And I remember the last time I was on the road, and stumbled upon a Walmart, in the middle of nowhere, which still had the popcorn machine & the ladies who would make you a sandwich.
Heck, as recently as about ten years ago, the Walmarts still had FISH TANKS where the kids could get some goldfish or shubunkins or koi.

Cynthia you nailed it completely. In my mid-40s now, I realized around 5 years ago that stated reasons/ideologies usually are total bullshit.
Everything can be explained by asking “Who makes money and/or benefits from this?” It’s the question that immediately slices through miles of bullshit and reveals the core motivators of an issue.
Examples:
1) “Rape Culture”
Stated reason: Justice, protecting women
Real reason: Fembots and fembot “non-profits” get more funding and power
2) “Global Warming”
Stated reason: Save the Earth!
Real reason: “Researchers” get more funding. “Charities” get more funding from gullible citizens.
3) Mass Low-Skill 3rd World Immigration
Stated reason: “It’s who we are” and “The crops will rot in the fields”
Real reason: Dems love to import voters, Wealthy love the cheap gardeners and meat-packing workers who work for far less than native borne and increase their profits. Dems and wealthy live nowhere near their imported diversity so they get benefits while imposing costs on others.
4) “Fake News” and “Pewdiepie is an extremist”
Stated reason: It harms our democracy and spreads hate.
Real reason: MSM wants to preserve its control over the national narrative for power. And they want to eliminate competition from new media sources to preserve their incomes.
I could go on but you get the idea. Next time you wonder why something is happening, ask yourself “Who makes money/gets power/both from this?” You’ll find it’s a useful heuristic.
