One shortcoming of the Trump Administration which has frustrated me is how often they leave perfectly serviceable shivs in their sheaths. Trump and his associates are certainly leagues better than the JebOP establishment at fighting, fucking with, and flummoxing the Leftoid Hate Machine, but they could be better. A lot better.
It’s all about reframing and increasing the voltage. For instance, immigration can be talked about in terms that potentially drag a few cucks and libs, and a lot of indies, into the pro-borders camp. “Greedy, selfish Mexican leaders don’t want to take care of their poor so they’re sending them to America and making the American people foot the bill!” Or: “Greedy corporate fat cats and profit-hungry agribusiness in America don’t care about the American worker or farmer; they just want an unlimited supply of cheap labor, so the next time Microsoft or Monsanto tell you immigration is for your own good, you tell THEM to stop importing scabs to keep wages down and their year-end bonuses high.”
Arguing against open borders in this way knee-caps the boardroom-approved phony moral posturing of the corporatocracy and the SJW freaks; it’s no longer about “welcoming refugees” or “diversity is our strength”, it’s about “selfish White Mexican elitists not taking care of their own” and “big business money-grubbers sticking it to the little man”.
As good as Trump’s and Bannon’s Game is, they could learn a few things if they read this blog.

Donald Trump seems to have become distracted lately. He needs to keep the media war going, or else the (((secular people))) are just going to keep on doing the same crap.

It certainly seems that way and I’m sure he’s surrounded by (((bs))) at every turn.
For my money, I think those “distractions” are a systematic way of knocking down the columns, finding the weak points, maybe taking a few unnecessary hits along the way, but ultimately pulling the rug from everyone while they’re busy not realizing someone’s pulling the rug. As in, welcoming the attacks because he already knows how he’s going to take them out.
He is Batman after all. And Batman always plans for every contingency.
One thing that rang loudly last week when he announced the “failure” of RyanCare was he said it let him know who’s loyal. That could be a great many things, but I felt it was targeted at Ryan himself.
Even Ryan’s CD has a greater view of Trump than of Ryan. The man knows he’s on life support

I read his book, and one thing is clear, from both the book, and of course is business career, he’s a long-term thinker. You have to be when you’re in the real estate business. But he’s in government now, and it seems to that it is important to keep the media war going, even if it’s just for the sake of minimizing the chances for the other side to get the upper hand, in the narratives that shape public perception.
But what do I know, he’s a brilliant guy, has proven himself, so we will see what happens.

I don’t doubt there are those in the Trump ranks that read this blog. I wouldn’t be surprised if soon we start hearing something similar to what you wrote.

I’ve said in many comment sections that we need Trump to say or preferably tweet a plausibly deniable code word if he or a close ally reads here. The best suggestion is probably “SHIV”. It can be weaved into pretty much anything he says on criminal justice.
Stephen Miller had Trump quote Bane in his inaugural just for shits and giggles. He can say Shiv for us, one time.

I’ll second this sentiment…
I don’t have a terribly firm grasp on politics, but if what I’m seeing is any indication… seems as though Trump got a bit bogged down with all the bureaucratic, inner-beltway shenanigans.
I mean, it appears as though he’s doing his best to fight it… but as an outsider starting fresh, my guess is he’s got a bit of re-calibrating to do before things start going as swimmingly as his campaign promised they would.
At any rate, at least he’s keeping these “controversial” topics of discussion on the table, rather than letting them fade into the mist of the 24/7 news cycle.

Politics is the continuation of war by other means. Despite appearances, weapons of traditional mass media have largely been neutralized by the Internet. The new mass media are the network effect Internet monopolies like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc. and they are engaging in censorship having now recentralized content.

This, however, will fail. As John Gilmore has noted, The ‘net treats censorship as a defect and routes around it.
They, of course, could try to take down the ‘net. This move probably will not be successful, as it has certainly been anticipated by every grey hat hacker in the world, who have all been making preparations for years to counter it . And even if it does succeed, the idea of laterality has arisen, and it cannot be unlearned or dis-invented.
They’re fucked, at least in the long run, and probably in the short run.

Someone should create a meme showcasing the demented Lib Logic of simultaneously believing the US to stand upon ‘stolen’ land, rightfully belonging to its Natives, while also agitating for open borders and mass migration. How do Natives benefit from mass migration? A good meme could help highlight the fact that Libs aren’t motivated by a noble love of the other but by a malicious and spiteful hatred of their own. They don’t want a better future for foreigners but rather a worse one for their own countrymen.

I won’t lie, my MAGA boner could use some fluffing these past few weeks.
Like Coulter, I see a bunch of Republican boilerplate dominating the agenda and not a lot a lot bluster out of Trump on what his base is truly rabid about.
I gotta keep telling myself he’s playing a long game here, but tossing us a few meaty bones in the meantime would help keep us all from getting bored and disinterested.
[CH: while the polls have proven untrustworthy since their pre-election performance, the general downward trend in trump’s approval rating can be laid squarely at the GOP boilerplate filling the airwaves. trump needs to get out ahead of this before the media makes the polls their only talking point.]

He’ll definitely be pushing it to keep the base fed on media sparring much longer much as I enjoy it. Gorsuch confirmation will help, assuming the orders are upheld. If he’s banking on The Wall being THE item this year, great. But I sense that people are gonna need to see some real concrete and fast (in the context of media climate and the attention span of the electorate, reasonable or not).

I love the Donald, but he’s clearly slipping and allowing someone up there in DC to talk him out of doing what he said he was going to do. The lack of movement on this is getting a bit old.

I think Trump is taking a loooong litmus test of the waters before he does anything too polarizing or too permanent yet. I know that I was really turned off by his humoring Melania with his Civic Nationalist nonsense but, with Vault 7, what damage could be done if he moves in too quickly? Granted, V7 SHOULD have led to immediate arrests and solitary confinement but, who do they know? If he starts with the proper rhetoric, how can they make unfortunate events look like the accidents they aren’t? He has his cabinet, now they need to identify the good men and women among the bureaucrats and intelligence community. Once they have that, he could outright deport brownies and outlaw disparate impact altogether.

Your argument is strengthened when you can cite specific examples of how corporations destroyed skilled, middle-class labor using illegal immigration. The post above is about meat-packing. In 1980, meat-packing was a skilled, unionized job with above average pay and an excellent safety record. Now, it’s the worst job in America.
