Believe it or not, there is actually an entitlement for women missing here. It’s the Women Infant and Children (WIC) nutrition program. Women can get WIC checks from the government office, then use them to buy specific nutritional foods at the local supermarket.
So, essentially, it’s a subsidy for women who get pregnant with no means of support. A Beta Male replacement, if you will. Below are the eligibility requirements for it in my town:
“Be pregnant, be a new mother, or have a child under five years of age.
Must meet WIC income guidelines. You are already financially eligible to participate in the Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP) if you receive food stamps, medical assistance, temporary cash assitance.
WIC may be transferred to or from any U.S. state or territory.”

I’ve been obsessively harassed on and off for the last four years by some deranged, heroin-peddling Dominican scumbag. Even though I finally managed to get a restraining order against him, the cops still refuse to do anything when he harasses me, always coming up with some lame-ass excuse why they can’t. On the other hand, some bullshit DUI charge is being filed against me after I was at an at-fault accident. I take some non-scheduled medication that you can’t even get high off of and the cop lied to me at the accident scene to get me to let my guard down so he could watch for signs of “impairment.” (“Impaired drivers” are the latest of Mencken’s imaginary hobgoblins that Boobus is being menaced with to get him to part with more of his freedoms, but I digress.)

Under the GATT, even though an annuity is essentially a reverse life insurance policy, women are required to get the same monthly payment as men, despite the fact that women live much longer than men after retirement. Prior to GATT, men were paid more per month since they would not live as long.

My pension was reduced about 13% because of this. I was really hit hard because my organization, health care, is about 70% or more female.
And, then there is Social Security. Same problem Of course, they used to let women get full benefits 3 years before men, but, now women get full benefits at the same time as men and since they live longer, they get much more of a total payout.
Same with health care. In fact, much more, since women live longer and consume much more health care resources than men.
Bottom line, our society is a wealth transfer scheme from men to women.
When women complain that life is unfair, they are right. It is unfair to men.

The issue of “privilege” really is a source of massive problems but it goes much further than the list we have here.
I have previously mentioned the amazing privileges that have been granted to banking (privilege of right to counterfeit and issue fraudulent documents) and the security services (impunity against all crimes). These are the basis of their astonishing global power.
But lots of other modern groups also enjoy amazing privileges. For example,
– insider trading laws do not apply to members of congress
– the laws that allow trusts like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Asset Trust exemptions them from taxation
– the NFL was until recently not required to pay taxes as it was considered a non-profit and exempt from anti-trust law
– medical insurance companies do not have to post their prices in line with price transparency laws that apply to every other business (Mechanic: Yes, I’ll fix your care and tell you how much tomorrow.)
These are egregious privileges are formally recognized and I am sure we could add dozens more without even turning to specific race-related (anti-white male) discrimination law.The costs and distortions and downright criminality that they create in society is massive.
And then there are all kinds of informal privileges related to people’s occupations and employments of the kind “If you are a state employee or are driving a car with such and such a license plate you do not have to obey this or that traffic rule.”
You never hear equalists complain about the lack of equal treatment in these kinds of areas but it is massively widespread, corrupting, and very destructive of confidence in the rule of law.
One of the avowed aims of the French Revolution was to end the privileges of both the ruling classes and of the small narrow-interest groups such as merchants, religious groups, and small towns positioned on important trading routes. For various reasons such groups or places had – in Medieval times, say – been granted the privilege to impose taxes or imposts on different kinds of products that passed through their town while at the same time being the only town or group permitted to trade in those products or activities.
French peasants, (“consumers”) who were not aligned with such a privileged group were being crushed by this proliferation of legally recognized scams and extortions.
That is what you seem to have in the United States again today.

Peace of mind and few arguments about money make for a fine life.
Mind we, we didn’t have fancy furniture, didn’t go on expensive vacations, and drove plain but reliable vehicles. The kids were homeschooled a majority of the years, but never lacked for extracurricular activities in sports and music and such.
It can be done, with a good woman and more important things on your plate than keeping up with the Joneses.

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve read the actual Sherlock Holmes stories, but re-reading other ch1ldhood favorites produces very mixed reactions.
The beginning of Tarzan of the Apes, for example is a very good, tight adventure story, but it gets ridiculous when the castaways show up.
Re-reading Karl May’s Kara ben Nemsi cycle, I wasn’t sure if I should be disgusted by the overbearing, unrealistic hyperbole or touched by the quaint naiveté.

You are culturally distant from these works so perhaps are inclined to see their stylistic and ideological features as flaws. Modern books tat have been written for those who are not alert and discerning are just as full of ludicrous pandering, clap-trap, and social posturing.
But we are supposed to be fish swimming in water and so are not meant to notice the overwhelming wetness of the environment.
For example, the modern police procedural is now heavily populated with some really ludicrous and – for Mike Hammer types – impossible figures and attitudes.
One favorite is the clever and sexy mid-to-late forties divorcee science-and-gun expert who was badly hurt and taken to the cleaners in a bad divorce but that’s okay because she’s now determined to enjoy life again as left-right-and-center she finds herself fighting off importunate Lotharios (of all colors!).
Really, it’s comedy gold. I suppose people of yore also read those old books with one raised eyebrow.

Not entirely sure what you mean by ‘culturally distant’, I read those books as a kid (and saw many related movies, had comic books, toys, etc.), i the case of Karl May, there aren’t many Middle European boys who did NOT grow up with his stories and who did NOT want to be Winnetou or Old Shatterhand (or both).
However, it is a fact that he wrote those stories without ever having been to America – never mind the West – and there is a metric sh1t ton of stuff in there that is just ridiculously impossible or simply wrong.
Similar applies to Tarzan, I have to wonder if Mr. Burroughs was aware of how HUGE Africa is, how massively long the Atlantic coast line and how extremely remote the chances of everyone always ending up shipwrecked or cast away right there in front of Tarzan’s birthplace.
That modern literary (….), TV or movie tales aren’t any more realistic doesn’t really change anything.
I guess you might say we are all culturally even more distant from something like Victor Hugo’s Notre Dame de Paris (now there’s a GREAT Book For Men!), but I can relate to that one much better and it contains more realism than anything mentioned above.

They were ignored at first: at a House subcommittee on the issue, a congressman asked the stewardesses to “stand up, so we can see the dimensions of the problem.” The airlines argued that the job of serving food and ensuring passenger safety were only something young, single women could do because male passengers would feel strange if flight attendants were male. Some courts agreed.
But in 1973, a federal court in Washington, D.C. ruled that Northwest Airlines had to get rid of appearance rules and any other restrictions not related to safety. These practices have constituted gender discrimination since then.

Something that has been going on for some considerable years now has been the way the sex act between a man and woman on the screen is portrayed. The chick is always on top and dominant now.
