A few years ago, i talked with a Rabbi in Dothan, AL, she (‘natch) told me that her congregation was about 15 people, but she was very excited about her outreach ministry to muslims in the area. I tried very hard not to laugh. To my knowledge, hers is the only temple in Dothan. So, long story short, very few Jews in this part of the country. Too redneck, I’m sure. Move south, y’all.

I know that many in these parts ridicule the notion that Trump is playing multi-dimensional chess, and perhaps this was all just happy chance.
But at moments like these I actually start to believe this was a brilliant 4D chess move from Trump. Despite his connections to the (((tribe))), I’m certain he is aware of the rot eating away at the White Western World from within, and who is responsible.
The wrestling gif could have been a random retweet, or it could have been a subtle way of giving massive exposure to the other CNN graphic highlighting (((tribal))) domination of the industry.
CNN can either claim the attempted doxxing was due to their butthurt over a silly gif, and look like a pathetic bully (particularly if they got the wrong guy). Or they can tell the truth that it was really about the other image HanAssholeSolo posted, and give it even more exposure, such that even the well-behaved Goyim start asking questions and begin to wander off the reservation. They have to pick the least damaging of two bad options.

Best summary of his strategy is a January 2017 piece in the WSJ. Won’t post the link so as not to trigger mods, but the upshot is that he plays the media like a fiddle, throwing them chum that they can’t resist, but that are basically nothing stories (a tweet, the size of the inauguration crowd, etc.) that eat up a week’s worth of news cycles, while he quietly goes about the process of governing.
And they are NOT covering THOSE stories. In other words, he gets a free pass on health care, North Korea, the wall, tax reform, etc… No in depth coverage of any of those issues because the dunderheads in the media are too busy covering his tweet of a gif.
It’s brilliant on several levels: it exposes the media for the frauds they are; it’s classic jiu jitsu that turns the media’s strength into a fatal weakness; he knows the media (which relies on ratings) can’t resist the chum; and it allows him to actually do the important stuff without pesky media scrutiny.

I too have noticed this narcissistic issue with arab muslims as well, however, jews, with their group excesses with respect to verbal intelligence, and the obsessive quality of jewish verbal skills, …. are so much better at obfuscation around the underlying narcissistic psychic dynamic, as compared to arabs, at least to my eyes (and ears).
Note that jews seem to be almost obsessively drawn to cultural positions where power is accrued by way of narrative persuasion. This seems to me to have an obsessive aspect to it. It’s as if jews tend towards working out innate personal confusion with respect to the fundamental subjective/objective ontological dichotomy, in a public way, using the public sphere, as a foil, a foil upon which to spend their overly subjective bent upon, ….. perhaps obsessively using the public sphere as a foil in this way, because the public sphere does not rise, elements-of-the-psyche-wise, to the level of an actual objectivity, for the jewish mindset, and ‘foil’ is the best normative jewish grok that can be mustered in this respect.
Now don’t get me wrong, everybody uses the objective realm as a foil, but by the western perspective, though the objective realm can become known by way of foil operation, the western mindset goes on to posit it as such (as truly ‘objective’), and this positing occurs in the very early formative years of a typical western youngster.
This is hard stuff to find the right words to talk about. I welcome any insights you may have.

My background in philosophy is not that solid; I am having a hard time following your thoughts on public sphere, using it as a foil, etc. Regardless, I think the obsessive quality is definitely one of our trademarks.
Too, I believe much of this obsessive, tone deaf navel-gazing so common among diaspora Jewry is also related to a simmering inner conflict. These are people who ultimately feel guilty for not living in Israel, but instead choosing the material and psychological comfort of living as outsiders belonging to a well-off, influential minority group. That way they can eschew the hard emotional work of building their own nation, participating in shaping THEIR majority community, etc. so they assuage their guilt by taking it all out on hapless goys.
Full disclosure: I have significant family ties to Israel. I can assure you that much of this toxic, megalomaniac brooding dissipates once people move to Israel and their existence is consumed by surviving there.
Really, people like that need to move to Israel and get it over with. I suggest a simple test: anyone who is not willing to unequivocally identify as American first and Jewish second, needs to make Aliyah. Look at Caroline Glick, she did just that and now she is only mildly obnoxious, having successfully channeled her obsessive brooding towards the greater good of Israel. She is in fact an ardent Trump supporter.

I’d say that among non-orthodox American Jewry, there seems to be this bizarre consensus, untethered to current reality, that is best summarized by this rather strange mission statement of one lefty Jewish org:
“Our history is that of middlemen, NEITHER OPPRESSOR NOR OPPRESSED”.
So basically these people have constructed an image of themselves that is based on snippets absorbed over the course of their lives; vague memories from Schindler’s list; Yiddish songs from bubbie; grandpa wasn’t allowed in the country club (see Sailer); some distant relative “was killed in Poland” etc etc. A haphazard collage of bytes, some of which may be halfway true. This is a very lazy approach, but obviously they find it comfortable to thus justify their self-perceived “victim status”.
They are woefully ignorant of actual Jewish (or any) history.
In summary, yes there is significant self-delusion at play.

Wild Man: as far s Woody Allen, I haven’t seen that movie so I can’t comment on it. Keep in mind that reasoning abilities are not in binary mode, but rather are present on a scale. You can have NLD and still have excellent nonverbal skills, it’s just that your verbal capacities exceed your nonverbal capacities to a degree that is deemed clinically significant, which is only a standard deviation. That is, fifteen points. Not much, really!
In practice, this means that someone like, say, notorious RBG may well have a verbal IQ of 140 and nonverbal IQ of 125, and still have NLD, with its attendant characteristics.
Pretty terrifying isn’t it. Such people can do a lot of damage when put in positions of influence.
On NLD and Ashkenazi Jews, this is just pure speculation on my part, based on extensive observation. I am not aware of any research on it. I rather doubt that this line of research would be getting much in the way of NIH funding.
As far as the etiology of this, I imagine it’s genetic. Centuries of selection for verbal reasoning skills, and that’s what you get. It’s quite straightforward, once you think about it.
As far as fixation on relatively irrelevant aspects of a situation, I kind of see a connection between that and our tradition of endless Talmudic disputations on the most minute and onviously irrelevant things. And this kind of continues to this day. I mean, why the hell can you not turn on the light during Shabbat? How completely stupid and idiotic. It only makes sense if you suspend your own ability to put things in perspective. Every normal person would think that the massive inconvenience of forgoing electricity (or the phone, ffs!) would outweigh any benefit of “resting”. But, not so for Orthodox Judaism.

BrachaBenedicta – my allusion to Woody Allen’s verbal shtick perhaps is better said – ‘as like verbal diarrhea’. That is what I meant. Look – to western ears – Woody Allen sounds like a very colorful (and therefore entertaining) guy that drones on and on, but nevertheless, in a way that makes his speech pattern somewhat palatable, … soothing even, yet no one really can figure out what he is really talking about, because Woody doesn’t seem to know himself, ….. it’s as if elements of his unconscious mind (like the mind of a person who is dreaming, experiences) bleed into the part of his mind that drives his conscious speech. OK – the way I see it is the jews have been both a very good and a very bad influence on the west. But on the other hand, this exploration of unconscious themes, and bleeding these out into the light of day, has been a good influence.
To my mind, jewish power in the west should be brought to heel to serve western interests, and not the other way around, which very often appears to be the case. The way I see it, the precepts of western culture, as based on the ascending primacy of the individual, as contingent on an appreciation of self-agency, and such gestalt resulting in a social framework that supports self-respect, begetting mutual-respect, begetting the golden rule, within an appreciation of the many perspectives, ….. is what makes the west powerful. Wild Man- why doesn’t it make sense that anger with one’s own failure gets taken out on others? Isn’t that what we observe when overweight women lash out at beauty standards or at shapely women? That’s exactly what it is. It’s the cowardice of avoiding the unpleasant reality of having to actually SOLVE your own solvable problem (in the case of the overweight woman, she can lose the weight; in the case of tormented exile Jews, they can come to terms with their own ancestry and move to Israel for good). In both cases, the problem is eminently solvable, but the despicable individuals can’t be bothered to put forth the actual effort and integrity to do so. It’s so much easier to blame others!

Wild Man, to be honest I am not grasping your argument with respect to Jewish guilt, I am not following at all. I don’t understand why my logic is “suspect”?
Ok, maybe if I add a little more historical context it will make more sense. You see, as someone with NLD myself I have a bit of a weakness with what are termed “presuppositional skills”; that term refers to a person’s ability to correctly assess their interlocutor’s state of knowledge. It’s something that develops during childhood. So, for instance, when my four year old comes running in the room and says “mommy tell him to stop!” then she is showing undeveloped presuppositional skills (since I have no way of knowing who she is talking about).
So, to go back to the fat woman analogy. These women know that they should lose weight, because they know that the ideal is a healthy weight and slim body. Right? So their guilt is being created by their awareness of their own deficiency with regard to achieving this ideal.
Now back to conflicted American Jews. They have been inculcated all their life, for the most part, about being part of the “Jewish people”. They have grown up with donation campaigns, Israeli war and terror etc. They typically admire Israelis they meet because it is generally accepted that life in Israel is quite a bit more tough. So they see themselves, rightfully imho, as a bunch of cowardly slackers who lack the balls to move to Israel and live in their own Jewish homeland.
So, the guilt these people experience has to be seen within the context of their exile Jew upbringing. Does that make more sense now?

You know who is the antithesis of this? Look up Naftali Bennett. He is in Israeli politician whose parents were lefty Jews that ended up moving to Israel. He is an ardent Israeli nationalist, religious, and a model citizen. He is very devoted to improving the lot of Israelis. He has no hang ups whatsoever about white gentiles afaik. He is a solid supporter of Trump, and I think Le Pen also. He completely grasps the concept of nationalism, respecting national boundaries etc. He is endlessly calling on diaspora Jews to come back home, and not as a way to get back at the west.
Of course you are right about the fact that you don’t really need us. Personally, I won’t push myself on people who prefer I stay out of their community. That’s why we have Israel, right? If it comes to a Nazi Germany type situation, I’ll be the first to thank America for what it has given me, take my family, and leave. Would I rather live in America than Israel? You bet. This discussion is starting to veer towards a lot of pathologizing. I best put that in the proper context according to my views. It is kind of crazy to pathologize a whole race of people (because wouldn’t the race be deemed relatively healthy given it’s existential condition?). And of course ‘psychic pathology’ is a very relative term, and I do think the psychological community tends towards over-pathologizing things. But it is worth talking about things in terms of even small normative differences group-vs.-group-wise, because I think it is also true that social feedback loops tend to emphasize small normative differences, enforcing different cultural set points around nexus points of social feedbacks, and therefore these small normative differences between members of one cultural group vs. another cultural group, can therefore lead to bigger actual differences for culture-proper vs. the other culture-proper. In this spirit, I hope you will continue not to take offense. The unbridgeable fault line (or tell, if you are cynical) is over the issue of legal immigration. While several prominent Jews support various aspects of the Trumpist agenda, virtually none support scrapping the 1965 Hart-Celler population replacement law which privileges non-white immigration, and has allowed the Marxist multi-cult to gain so much influence over American society by dividing us into warring ethnic tribes.
The Ashkepaths think that a less white America will be “good for the Jews”, in their traditional roles as well-compensated middle men and mediators between rival factions. History has not been particularly kind on to them on that score, as their revolutionary mischief often ends in pogroms.

My great grandmother is said to have horsewhipped a Jewish butcher way back in the early 20th century for selling her rotten meat, possibly because she was a goy and he was unloading the past-date stuff on her for that reason.
