In some ways, I do miss the campaign for those reasons you mentioned.
There was great energy at his speeches and I’d always be eager to listen in on them even though many were the same, he’d always bring up something new to them.
His twitter was shivvier–of course, he wasn’t the president yet–and watching (((them))) lose their shit over each word was beautiful.

Actually even some of the academics that the Left relies on have said some things that don’t fit the mold. You can find videos, for instance, of Dawkins and Chomsky (yes, that one) trashing feminists and post-modernists for instance. Well yes, the reason we men are on a hierarchy is due to the women being the ones doing selections. The whole hierarchy is for women. I like competition and figuring stuff out, being productive; this is a evolutionary trait, which places me somewhere in hierarchy. Now, I can also move up (and down) by behaving “wrong”.
My point is that we are judged against each other, not on a absolute scale. Women in Southwest Russia are beautiful. Why? Because under few wars went through that region and killed bunch of the men. Result: the men did not get any “better”, but the hierarchy lost men in every step. This mean that high value women competed for lower quality men. And only good looking ones survived (on average).
I might be wrong on this debate, but it is my view of “the game”. Why would one try to simply raise in the hierarchy by showing the traits that gets you higher? If you just learn to show them, you can forget them also. I think better move is to actually move up in the hierarchy and be better than other men. Obviously if you are a good man but very beta, you are occupying an area in the hierarchy that is lower where you should be.
tl;dr, yes, women are the arbiters, but they do not have an absolute scale. Therefore competition is against the people around you.

This is reminiscent of the discussion over at Rational Male a long while back, before I got turfed from there, over Rollo’s backwards view on this stuff, and his objection to my observations of his refusal to engage over this central redpill matter.
If women are not men, then what the heck are the women judging precisely – see? In the redpill community I think there is lot of consensus that women are selecting for confidence. I believe this consensus is warranted. But masculine confidence is just a tell, that women are extremely sensitive to, for the underlying ‘logic’ (as in the ‘logic’ of darwinian sexual selection algorithms, if you will) of the operation of this sexual selection pressure. Because the masculine confidence, that women are sensitive to, is a tell for what precisely? See – women don’t know the answer to that question, and thus they tend to believe in the romance-novel fairly tale, because to them, that is what it is really like, because they are not men, and so they don’t know what the masculine confidence is actually based upon, and so all they got to go by, is their sensitivity to this tell, and all the female romantic manipulations (the basic script or framework of said manipulations being that of said confident man being manipulated towards acquiescing to her by way of his desire for her), naturally flow, following downstream from these basic facts.

“Playing the women” / “Feeding them information that gets you laid” is an angle the relies on the male brain. If you keep thinking like a male you are and expect the women to think the same way, you are losing the plot. You cannot think like a women and women cannot think like a man.
You see this all the time in women, they behave the way they want their man to behave. Feminist and other idiots have driven the “equality” in their brain and they think that men think the same way that they do. Prime example being the non-faked actual puzzling over the fact of “why do not men want strong women? I am a strong women are they afraid of me?” And no one of these women who think this have ever thought that maybe if you see yourself as good example of women, the men don’t. Because they have different set of values they are looking for.
And we get back to the discussion on hand: I feel it is waste of time trying to find out all the qualities that women are currently looking at. Time is better spent finding what kind of man (because you think like a man, you can figure this out easier) is high on the totem pole and try to achieve that. Women are still looking out to the male hierarchy, so climbing that will get you laid. It will also make your life better in the long term.
CH comments frequently on this also; we hear a lot of “go to the gym, get yourself in the shape”. Brilliant advice, but it is for climbing the hierarchy of men. What I have noticed is that very few women actually cares about my shape. Obviously be in shape that keeps you high up in hierarchy, but as for actual sexual gratification, very few women seem to “love love love” abs or muscles. Men do, and then look upwards to you, which in turns moves you up amongst men.
Story time at the end: One young lady once told me that she was in a classroom and a guy she knew vaguely came in. She had seen the guy before and did not find him interesting. This is a very nice description of the world. We could think hypergamy as nothing more than female hierarchy (or SMW) being by default “higher” than male hierarchy. If one would look this from womens eyes, standing in the hierarchy, she never looks down the hierarchy. She looks across to the male hierarchy, where valuable males are. As Peterson in the video reiterates. the male at the same hierarchy level will be more educated, more successful in society (which we can describe as hypergamy). I do not like the term, or at least we should have term for men who date better looking people than themselves, which is the men version of hypergamy.

My point of this semantics bender I am on is that women select from male hierarchy and the hierarchy is never described in absolute terms. It is subjective to the times and other men. If one goes to Estonia, the hierarchy is different (and fairly easy to slot in high as an outsider). If you go to Iceland, it is difficult to climb the hierarchy.
As it is subjective, the competition is not doing the right things for the girl, it is to seem better than other men. Today this means that you have to up your jerkiness, be confidently playful and not to say sorry. The game today would not fly in 1600’s. Only the confidently playful part would stick, but you would have to behave completely differently. The women have not evolved physically, same things (men being higher in hierarchy) give them vagina tingles today as did hundreds of years ago. But the game has changed, because how other men are behaving has changed.
And as the times are what they are, nerds everywhere and unhappy women everywhere, you are not trying to feed the hamster (well you are, but that is not what is actually happening). What you are actually doing is climbing the hierarchy of men. By showing the traits that of a male that is at the same level in hierarchy as she is on hers.

I think the remakes of all his hits that he recorded, as an older man (55?), when Blue Velvet reintroduced his music to a new generation, are superior to the originals.
The timbre of his voice invoked much more pathos when he was in his fifties rather than his twenties. Truly a unique sound and talent. And the tragedy in his personal life is not to be believed. I won’t go into here, but the curious can look it all up.

I like alot about the way JP frames things. But he is off base with this assertion. The best you can ever hope for is providing women you are close to with a sample of the truth, here and there, and gauge her acceptance of that, and adjust your ongoing relational tactics accordingly.
And this is because women can’t understand some things, simply because they don’t want to.

I really like Peterson despite his counter-signalling of the alt-right and his pro-semetic positions. To be fair, I do think he’s right that Jews are typically intelligent and agree that there is an uncomfortable parallel to be drawn between, say, negro envy/hatred of the white man and white envy/hatred of Jews. The difference is that whites do not actively seek to subvert and destroy black people. White success is not a threat to black mediocrity (it’s the opposite), whereas Jewish success is a threat to White existence.
