Because the American business sector is powerful and strong, and is going to grow regardless of — people wake up in the morning, they want to feed their kids, they want to buy a home, they want to do things, the same with American businesses — what I’m saying is it would be much stronger growth had we made intelligent decisions and were there not gridlock.
And thank you for pointing it out because I’m going to be a broken record until this gets done. We are unable to build bridges, we’re unable to build airports, our inner city school kids are not graduating.
I was just in France, I was recently in Argentina, I was in Israel, I was in Ireland. We met with the prime minister of India and China. It’s amazing to me that every single one of those countries understands that practical policies to promote business and growth is good for the average citizens of those countries, for jobs and wages, and that somehow this great American free enterprise system, we no longer get it.
Corporate taxation is critical to that, by the way. We’ve been driving capital earnings overseas, which is why there’s $2 trillion overseas benefiting all these other countries and stuff like that. So if we don’t get our act together — we can still grow.

It’s unfortunate, but it’s hurting us, it’s hurting the body politic, it’s hurting the average American that we don’t have these right policies. So no, in spite of gridlock we’ll grow at maybe 1.5 or 2 percent.
I don’t buy the argument that we’re relegated to this forever. We’re not. If this administration can make breakthroughs in taxes and infrastructure, regulatory reform —we have become one of the most bureaucratic, confusing, litigious societies on the planet.
It’s almost an embarrassment being an American citizen traveling around the world and listening to the stupid s— we have to deal with in this country. And at one point we all have to get our act together or we won’t do what we’re supposed to [do] for the average Americans.
And unfortunately people write about this saying like it’s for corporations. It’s not for corporations. Competitive taxes are important for business and business growth, which is important for jobs and wage growth. And honestly we should be ringing that alarm bell, every single one of you, every time you talk to a client.”

Self-Nomination – Shitlord of the Week
Context: I live in a sizeable suburb of a major Left coast city. The area is 95% Whites, East Asians, and South Asians employed by the tech industry. I’m Black & White (#MysteryMeatInDaHouse!) and spent most of my adult life abroad – much of it deployed in Middle East in support of GWOT – so the nüculture and the assumptions underlying it are completely lost on me.
Scenario 1:
I’m driving home from the gym on an otherwise perfect Sunday afternoon. Riding shotgun is a right-thinking, Orthodox Christian lady friend who enjoys mocking SWPLdom as much as I do. As I approach a traffic signal, I see a gaggle of about a half dozen protestors with signs on the corner. The group is mixed male and female, mostly over 50, and 100% White.
Their signs are hodgepodge of Standard Issue Leftist Goodthink. Equality. Homophilia. And a special one that caught my eye…
Black Lives Matter.
Without irony, the sign was being held by a 50-something white woman. She appeared upper-middle class and, based on my knowledge of local demographics, she almost certainly did not live in an area that suggests that Black Lives Matter.
I came to a stop at the traffic signal, my window already down. The GILF BLM supporter turned towards my truck, saw me, and encouraged by the sight of her “project people,” flashed a smile that said, “He’s with us! He appreciates what we’re doing!”
My eyes met hers with a glower so cold it would have given an Inuit frostbite. My combo head tilt downward/slow motion shake of disapproval sank the shiv deep into her virtue-signaling ego. Her smile vanished. In its place: utter dejection.
My lady friend witnessed this non-verbal exchange in silence and burst out laughing as the light turned green and we drove off. I can’t remember her exact quote – something to the effect of “that was a total shitlord moment!” – but it prompted me to write this. (Thanks, YM5K, if you’re reading this ☺).
My lady friend and I drove by that same spot 30 minutes later, and sure enough, the Leftist gaggle was gone. I will never know for certain, but I like to think that the emotional distress and CogDis that the woman experienced caused the mood to sour and led them to break camp and retreat to their poseur enclaves.
Lesson leaned: Sometimes silent shivs cut the deepest.
Scenario 2:
Earlier this week I called a local clinic in the same Left coast city to schedule a doctor’s appointment. After taking my details, the receptionist asked if I would like to be seen by a male or female doctor. (I’ve never been asked that question before.) I responded, “Male…if he’s straight.” The stunned receptionist paused for a moment and exclaimed, “I don’t understand!”
I responded, “You asked me if I’d like to be seen by a male or female doctor for reasons of my personal comfort (surely not for presumed levels of competency!), so it isn’t just the sex of the doctor that is relevant to your concern, but also the doctor’s sexuality, as your question implies that the doctor is heterosexual, but her or she could be homosexual.”
After a moment of silence the receptionist emitted a hollow, “I hadn’t thought about it that way before.”
Now you have, receptionist, now you have!
She went on to assure me that both of the male doctors in her office were straight. LOL.
Lesson learned: Use the Left’s own weapons against it. To wit: The right to feel comfortable and safe from potential sexual impropriety (muh feelz!) and highlighting their own innate heteronormativity (the same behavior they call you a bigot for.)

My Lord…that house is across the street from the house in which I grew up.
For those not familiar with Houston, the four villages are actually separate cities, incorporated within Houston city limits, with their own police, courts, and taxes. They are an extremely wealthy (and white) area of the city. In the late 90’s enormous mansions starting replacing the old 1950’s ranch homes as money from the energy and finance industries started pouring in. The public schools are de facto private, with only limited influx of minorities due to the fantastically high property values (I’d love to raise my kids there, but there’s just no way).
It has always been a very safe area. I never felt any fear riding my bike around the area when I was a kid; traffic violations and kids wrapping houses were the worst crimes the police had to deal with. My friends all came from good homes where the father worked and the mother stayed home. In other words, it was a great place to grow up.
This murder is an utter shock to me. The house where this woman lived is at the very back of a quiet neighborhood street that a driver must make four turns to reach. My Dad bought our house because, as he put it, a person would need to have a reason to be that far back into the neighborhood. It felt safe. It WAS safe. The article says that the woman had lived there for 30 years. I’m 41. While our family didn’t know her directly, it does make it quite likely that I trick-or-treated at her door.
The only consolation I have is that this was not some random attack, but the product of an ungrateful bastard who didn’t care a whit that the woman he stabbed to death employed his mother for years and even helped her buy a car.

Klaus Eberwein, a former Haitian government official who was expected to expose the extent of Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice next week, has been found dead in Miami. He was 50.
Eberwein was due to appear next Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission where he was widely expected to testify that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated Haiti earthquake donations from international donors.
According to Miami-Dade’s medical examiner records supervisor, the official cause of death is “gunshot to the head“. Eberwein’s death has been registered as “suicide.”

The story is in the Miami Herald, so there’s that.
It appears this (ahem) negro gentleman had “fallen on hard times” and, after his erstwhile lucrative career as a pol bigwig in Haiti, was eking out a living as an Uber driver in South Florida.
Apparently back during better “connected” times, he himself had his hand in the cookie jar, and deep, go figger.
So what he was scheduled to testify about?
Eberwein was scheduled to appear Tuesday before the Haitian Senate’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the head of the commission, Sen. Evalière Beauplan confirmed. The commission is investigating the management of PetroCaribe funds, the money Haiti receives from Venezuela’s discounted oil program.
So whether the C-l-i-n-t-o-n Foundation and the earthquake relief funds were also part of the investigative agenda, I won’t say yea or nay… but it seems Eberwein had made a long list of people unhappy, and even the arm of Haitian law shows signs of length.
And it’s not exactly rare for a man under investigation himself to offer all sorts of information, whether real or imagined… or fall into the despair of realization that he may be facing a Haitian prison himself, hence his own jig is up (pun untended, but you got one anyway).

My contention was/is/remains that, if a given story is so shocking and such a blockbuster that all of us in Cyberia seem to know about it, it goes without saying that SOMETHING would be mentioned in the usual channels.
And so, when NOWHERE else is a given tale told besides our own echo chambers, the burden is on said sites to produce better evidence or just quit adding to the squid ink.
That this has to keep being repeated is tiresome indeed, because it seems I can’t even count on my own alleged allies to RESPECT THE TRUTH and demand accountability from ourselves.
In this latest case, there was indeed some mention in the (((MSM)))… so at least it wasn’t a tale spun of whole cloth.

But he doesn’t sufficiently account for how skepticism has been wielded as a weapon against us from the start, nor does he appreciate how his insistence on purity in this regard aids and abets the jew.
My natural position is to take all reports with a grain of salt, but for the sake of the revolution, to take my brothers’ theories, conspiracy and otherwise, with a far smaller dose — out of a respect that has nothing to do with truth or letting “justice be done though the heavens may fall.” The truth of any one particular story is always within the context of the larger fight against The Liar and Father of Lies, whose pretty untruths are not just deeper and harder to detect, but much more entrenched, much more powerful, much harder to dislodge and neutralize.
Satan and the synagogue of satan would have us weaken ourselves with an internecine struggle over the truth, especially by using the devil’s own sophistries that encourage brotherly rancor, distracting us from conquering the bigger lie, and promulgating the devious subversive method of Skepticism. Occasionally borrowing the skeptic’s wardrobe and putting on the mind of the jew is what cucked mainline protestantism and the conservative establishment. It is a self-destructive practice to mock any kind of faith, especially the credulous faith of a child, because trafficking in such corrosive acids disintegrates the handler’s own capacity to believe.
For his part, Carlos/Tyrone would be more persuasive by moderating his claims and by presenting his investigations as questions rather than as statements which have the tendency to become litmus tests for his fellow brothers’ commitment to the cause.

I was 9 when I first saw it and I’ve probably seen it close to 10 times since. The whole cast was great but Nicol Williamson as Merlin stole the show. Solid movie. Fantastic use of Wagner’s Sigfried’s Death at the end.

Matt, I put this out there as food for conversation. I believe some of it, some I am skeptical of but all of it is interesting. The pedophile stuff is right and I have posted tons of follow on videos of credible people corroborating it. Most of it isn’t even watched. Greg doesn’t watch it either, he just wants to criticize.
Greg seems to think it all has to be 100% true right now and fully developed or it can’t possibly be true. Watergate too two years to unfold. He doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of a developing story or other complications. He fails to grasp the complexity of Washington politics as well. I published an article that was basic and factual- a man who was scheduled to testify before the Haitian Senate was found dead in his hotel room and it was a ruled a suicide. Easily verifiable and no innuendo. The circumstances and the Clinton’s past provide that. That article was silent on it. I was still attacked/
Yet he gets angry about anyone who would dare claim the official narrative of the holocaust or the Nazis is right or even partially and swears up and down Oswald is the lone gunman and 9/11 wasn’t a Mossad operation but can’t say what happened to the gold. Nor does he grasp that a reprint of an MSM article in a news conglomeration site does not change the basic veracity of the MSM story. That is some serious logical inconsistency.
The official holocaust and Nazi narratives are all supported by the same factions as Greg is looking for approval on these news stories he claims are trash. Which is it? Greg is flat out thick on this issue and is either stupid or being deliberately obtuse for the sake of impugning me to build himself up. I believe it to be the latter. Cortesar is right. What drives this zealotry? I must conclude insecurity. At this point, I have to wonder if Greg has a college degree. He has hidden it well up to now, but his critical skills are severely lacking in news analysis. I think he is intimidated by me and wants to pick at me. It is an old story in my life. That is why I react so viscerally. We have a faction of people who like to try and run others off to build themselves up. The mob here can be pretty ugly.

High principle does indeed apply way down here in the trenches, but that is not our chief concern, it only throws us off our more humble focus, which is to defeat the evil in front of us. Ours not to make reply, / Ours not to reason why, / Ours but to do and die.

This assessment of Greg, from what I can see, is terribly wrong. We are all adjusting to the cataract of information unleashed by global interconnection. We all have to work harder to find the signal in an exponentially larger universe of noise. I agree that old standards of investigation are either quickly losing their usefulness or simply have ceased to apply. At the same time, it’s worth acknowledging that the new standards of reporting are so poor that guarding oneself against credulity is more important than ever.
Only Christians believe in the divine embodiment of truth, only Christendom dared to place truth highest, and we have been rewarded with civilization for it. But our culture is sinking into the post-Christian morass, where a healthy respect for truth is no longer a workable assumption among our countrymen (thanks, jews!). I think Greg nobly refuses to come to terms with that reality because it smells like capitulation.
There is room for heroic idealists even if their heroism is quixotic and their quixotic nature makes them, in certain senses, naive: they remind us of what we are getting ourselves dirty for. Their “foolish consistency” might be a tactical “hobgoblin,” but at a strategic level it keeps us from getting lost in our own temptations to inconsistency, rationalized as merely means to an end — even as it puts our souls in the balance. It takes both kinds, pragmatists and purists.
