Yep, gold and silver are a “store of value.” While they’d be of little immediate use in a SHTF scenario, they COULD potentially allow you to start again in whatever organized following the collapse without a completely empty tank.
The fact that you could be time-transported back to, say, 1350 with a couple of gold coins and silver coins, and, assuming you weren’t robbed, use them to buy a horse, a sword, and food, regardless of their having weird symbols on them, is some indication that they store value a bit better than greenbacks.
I’m not a big gold and silver guy, personally, but it seems like there are some valid arguments for having a bit in the event of a full collapse.

That said, re the military, of course everyone has his price. It depends on what a US buck can buy and what is left available in the economy to steal. And also if the means are available to steal it.

In Venezuela the govt and military can still use $US obtained from their oil trade to pay themselves and import what they want. So they can continue to fuck the people. But once things go bad in the US, there isn’t any external market that the US can sell into in the same way that Venezuela gets $ from oil. The US no longer NET exports oil. It does export food stuffs, but even for that it needs big oil imports to run agriculture and get the goods to the docks.

I would suggest using medical terms to pathologize the anti-caucasian Leftist totalitarian dyscivilizationists in the same manner as they seek to do to the Right. How about the word “malignant” as a weapon?
E.g. when accused of being anti immigrant, counter with calling them “malignant xenophiles”
Or when accused of being transphobic, reply with calling them “malignant sodomist”
Or when called “racist” reply with calling them “malignant psychopathic euro-genocidalists”
The more erudite the counter verbiage, the greater the confusion you will elicit from the Leftist. They believe as an article of their pseudofaith that they are smarter than you and therefore more moral than you.
Using psychiatric sounding terms will hit them in their proud egos, a shiv most subtle.

Weird. I dreamed lots of weirdness last night, but one of the vignettes was me walking down a ramp from some shop, and two noddle-armed xirs pushed past me. One had said “excuse me!” And I moved out of his way, but the other sweater clad fag lisped “hey! He said excuse me! So move!”
In my dream, he looked just like the girl on the far left in this photo. I turned, grabbed him, rammed a forearm into his throat, and called him out.
Never in real life has this happened, nor would I do this type of thing. I don’t like these simpering idiots though, but I’m starting to see them everywhere. Real saturation or just more woke daily, don’t know.
I have a lot of worry and frustration lately so maybe my dreamscape is just a projection of that.
I know lots of single moms but few want to know me. I’m married to the actual bona fide father of my kids, our kids have normal natural hair colors and cuts and dress nicely, and behave. The sons of the single moms usually have blue mohawk cuts (not kidding saw one today, all of fourth grade!) and dress like hipsters. The girls dress like whores or boys, take your pick.
Something is wrong. There exists a sickness I can’t use a single word to name. But this is not my world. Muslims are not Americans. Single mommery is not a benefit to society. Diversity is nothing we were promised it would be. I know it’s old hat to everyone here.
You know that feeling in your gut when a cliffs edge is approaching? You don’t see it, but you feel it? I’ve been feeling that for years. I know how to rig rope and climb. So glad these flimsy excuses for spermicide donors don’t.
