Below the level of extravagant male wealth, money doesn’t make a huge DIRECT impact on women’s attraction to men. If a man has a nice car and condo, no economically self-sufficient careergirl will be wowed by that. The benefit of money comes from the confidence it instills in men, which women DO love.

I feel like a distinction should be made about “high-status men” in what context. My experience says that now “high-status” is almost completely determined by “hookup criteria” and not long-term considerations until chick hits the wall (but preaching to the choir).
If modren Western women are indeed switching to an r-selected reproduction strategy — i.e., focusing on short-term hookups that advantage cads over dads and chads over NOWAGS — then a man’s earning power will have a smaller impact on female attraction than it historically has had in more patriarchal (aka Regulated Monogamy) times when women weren’t paper pushing corporate whores who could afford their own mortgages and streaming pussyhat entertainment packages.
Of course, this will not end well for civilization. I don’t think betas and less will even realise their women’s sexual histories or even desires. I’m outside of the US so I can’t say. Very encouraging, and I hope you’re right. When I left about a year ago I was in one of the bluest states west of the Mississippi and the (white) men were thirsty and beta, the young women were living the Sex in the City dream, the middle aged women were childless and living with cats while wearing pussyhats, etc. Seemed pretty hopeless.

Well I am also outside the US (but only by 30 miles) and am quite familiar with the very pozzed west coast. The term I’ve heard/read s everal times is “white knighting” just as it would be used here. And I’ve heard it in places you wouldn’t expect. I also think that the sugar baby phenomenon has been a wakeup call for some people.

I don’t think it’s wealth, but rather that a truly superior man (the Alpha) tends to be economically successful. My guess is that a self-made hustling businessman with $1M in assets will be seen as more attractive than a nerd with $10M in inherited wealth (except by golddiggers who only intend to be with him long enough to get all his money and leave).
It’s all about women’s perception of genetic superiority, with wealth just being one indicator.

I will agree with you on some extent. When I was in my teens, I did do pretty well as far as girls go. And that was when I wasn’t working. I did notice that money does matter to about extent when I turned 16 and suddenly the girls on used to get at 15 were harder to get. And the reason was simple. At 16 most guys start legally working and they start looking forward to getting their licenses and buying their first car. And girls will notice. So going for a walk with a girl might not pay dividends when she can go for a ride with the guy in the Pinto.
Do I think money matters? Again, yes to an extent. But we can agree that boys should start learning game early on before getting their first job. That way they don’t have to rely on money alone to attract a mate.
Then again, I grew up in the late 90s/early 00s. I don’t think girls were as materialistic then as they are right now, so maybe the fact that they are more “independent” financially is counterbalanced by my suspicion that they are more indebted due to college costs, rent, car payments, splurging on clothes, etc., so they may still go for a provider at some point. Again, that’s were game comes in and complements money. If you want to take one of these girls to dinner in the hopes of getting laid, go for it, just make sure to pull the Jew card and not overpay for it. And kick her put as soon as you’re done.

Money isn’t really relevant “except” as a means to adventure. Someone anecdotally mentioned needing a car to get the girl… that’s because going for a drive is more “exciting” and “adventurous” than walking. If you rolled up on a tandem bike and sold it properly (via game) it’s just as good as the car.
Point is, it’s not WHAT you have, but HOW you sell what you have to HER. As others have pointed out, I’ve also always done better when flat broke with “nothing” but me to offer. What makes it all work (and proves the alphatude) is how well you can sell yourself… and whether you give two shits about any particular girl. Unless you’re absolutely focused on finding the mother of your children (which is an admirable and desirable goal, if of questionable attainable nature these days), getting a girl is just a numbers game… if one isn’t interested in what you’re selling (you), another one will be.

The amount of time and energy to convert useless people (parasites are a black hole of value, so that never happens) into people with anything going for them is too high.

So generously assume that the founding population consisted of 250 individuals in 500 A.D. By 1300, the Ashkenazi population had grown to 25,000. By 1900, it was 8.5 million.
To put that rate of population growth in perspective, compare it to the growth of the Scottish population. Scots increased from 1 million in 1300 to 4 million in 1900. Germany in 1300 had a population of 9.1 million, and in 1900 one of 56.4 million. 56.4/9.1 = 6.2 fold increase. Over the same time span the Ashkenazi increase was 340 fold. The conclusion about the Ashkenazi does not change no matter which European population one compares them to.

Ive seen a few dudes come from impoverished backgrounds and get rich.
They thought their childhood friends were friends for life but the money got in the way.
Rich man would start wearing different more expensive clothes or eat at fancy places or treat his buddies to this and that. His buddies could not compete and their women would get resentful.
Also I think the wealthier you come, the less real friends you have. I know a few wealthy small biz owners who have ‘friends’..basically business contacts who are looking for projects.

My observation is that money and status matter a lot when women are looking to settle down. They want a guy who would be a good provider so they don’t have to keep doing their HR job after kids arrive and they want to compete with their female family members and friends on who got a richer/better husband. I don’t think a good looking waiter with game is going to do so well long-term in competition with a more dweeby doctor or lawyer.

I dunno flip. I know you have to watch what women do and not what they say but it seems like women aren’t quite as money grubbing as most guys believe, even at the settling down stage. This is just conjecture but women seem to be mostly focused on non-monetary aspects of the security/provider side when they setthe down. I’ve seen quite a few attractive epiphany phase pre-wall women settle with guys that aren’t in great shape financially but have a good personality balance of nice guy and confident. One guy comes to mind, wife is a solid 9, has a struggling photo editing business (makes maybe $20k/yr) and the woman seems happy. I think women will even tolerate a guy who makes less than them as long as they don’t get the impression he is dependent on them.
I maybe wrong. My gut is even at the settling stage a lot of women would love a guy with money but that it isn’t even close to their top priority.
Again, I may be full of shit, because that is exactly what women say (they don’t care about how much money he makes) and you have to take that with a grain of salt. This is not a NAWALT argument. I don’t think most modern women care about money as much as men think/wish they do at any stage.

Men talk about game and money as if they were mutually exclusive. Sometimes that is a self defense mechanism to compensate for the fact that they don’t have or will never have any kind of economic wealth.
Money is good. It raises your standard of living. It helps you not waste time on shit you can get other people to do. It gives you freedom to live your live how you want to live. And it is very useful if you have a family and children.
Saying it is an advantage to be poor is like saying it is an advantage to be short or bald; only with money, you can do something about it.

Also I think a lot of settling womens’ desire for men who make more money than them isn’t about the money at all but the male confidence that comes along with being a breadwinner. Women sometimes complain that guys are “intimidated” by their jobs, success, or whatever, but it isn’t really about money. It is about a man not being as confident about his leadership role in the relationship with a woman with a higher income. I think the actual finances don’t really matter that much compared to the attitude of the man.
Modern women are so far removed from anything even remotely resembling “need” that the financial providership of men is low on their priorities for choosing a mate, even a spouse.

But in terms of what appeals to women, I think money is a lot further down the list than most guys and society in general would have you believe.
For most women, I think money is one of those things women go for “all else being equal”. Like a guy preferring green eyes to brown or blue. You aren’t going to go for a fatty with brown eyes. Most women won’t go for a guy with no Game even if he has money.
You see it all the time in the comments sections on MGTOW sites. Guys will brag about how they make a ton of money and get off on the idea that tons of women want them but can’t have them. They are kidding themselves. Women don’t care that you have $500k in a 401k if you are a bitter incel. They don’t care how much money you make. (See hypergamy doesn’t care.) I dunno, maybe I’ve lived in particularly bourgeois areas, but it seems to me that money matters a lot to women, particularly since they can’t/don’t make that much themselves for a whole career. Money clearly helps. If you ran a study and could somehow control for level of game, you’d find richer guys get hotter women and more women.
Even at the margins this is probably true as the hottness of girl correlates with socioeconomic strata, aka the more money you have, the hotter your social peers are. (I’m not saying career girls are hotter. Think family money.)

I have to say that your experience has not been mine.
It is well known in linguistics, for example, that the intuitions of armchair linguistics researchers do not at all reflect what is discovered by “quantitiative” researchers (there is always a qualitative element too).
Take the example of a native speaker of English. Ask him what the most frequent use is of a word like “go” (this is not a real example) and he might say that it refers to moving from one place to another, but when one did corpus work (for example to compile a dictionary or a search engine or a translation machine) one might find that the most frequent uses were uses such as “this goes (matches) with that” or “…and then he went (said)…”. (Because the use and meaning of a word or phrase is actually context and domain dependent)
This kind of result always surprises the “expert” speakers of a language.
The point I am making is that the intuitions of native speakers about their own language are strong in some areas but very unreliable in others. And thus research always produces surprising results.
I’ll give you another (sadder) example. I have in recent months been using social science research methods to make a very comprehensive video on self defense fighting and the way I have gone about it is to explain what *actually* happens in real world fights and illustrate my claims with clips from my very large corpus of fights.
I know my research and methods have been good because I have discovered many surprising things about what *actually* happens in fights and these things *in no way* match anything that we are taught by experts in either martial arts, sports-fighting, or self defense courses.
No relationship. As far as “the street” is concerned, you may as well not bother with 90% of what you are taught in any kind of fighting course and in fact most of it is entirely inappropriate or wrong or even invites danger in self defense situations.
The sad part of this – as I mentioned – is that the video, three hours long, would have been ready in a few more weeks. I lost it all a couple of days ago. I don’t think I will try to do it again. But I learnt a huge number of *true* things in the course of making it.
So social science approaches, they do have their uses and do produce good new knowledge. Of course, a lot of the time it does seem to be “uh duh”.

Some basic things to know
– we are not leo or bouncers. we don’t have their authority or legal position. We cannot fight like them. forget submissions and restraints etc.
– – you are a civilian in a self defense (SD) position.
– – understand that “preemption” means “punishing intimidation”
– – people who are going to attack you make it very clear. Become familiar with the most common escalation tells. E.g., If a coon makes fists down near his genitala, hit him, because he is 99.99999% about to attack you..
– In attack, your goal is to achieve the earliest possible KO or disablement. You can only get that reliably around the head,
– – nobody ever gets hurt by bodyshots in SD and there is very little in the way of leg attacks etc. This isn’t the ring. In SD, it is all about the emotions. People just want to get at each other. As a priority, protect your head, neck and waist.
– Kicking occurs when you fall on the ground and someone soccer kicks your head
– Train to get up fast if you fall, A) cover guard B) get one foot under your hip or use an Egyptian get up (youtube) C) You can get up in various direction depending on your leg drive but learn to hit from your cover guard as you get up (hammefists are great because they hit on so many trajectories) and to close or flank the oppenent– don’t increase trhe distance because you will just have to enter again and entry is dangerous. This is not MMA.
– – the SD relationship is a Predator/Prey relationship. The Predator does not like to take risks. He is sure he can win. There will be some or all of the features stalking, deceit, sudden attack, and group attack, but if you make the task hard, he won’t think it worth the cost
– – in SD you fdo not have to chase the opponent becuasehe is confident , angry, etc. So don’t worry, he will close on you and probably hard. Learn to hit while moving. Keep your volume up in Zone 1 and don’t allow you arms to fall out of Zone 1. No round-trip hitting. Hit economically from the hip/foot. Learn to hit while traveling backwards or to the side.
– – in defense, your task is to protect the head and neck from blows or capture ans to protect the waist from capture (being slammed is a very bad thing)
– – the earlier you win, the more likely you are to win.
– – the classic structure of an SD situation is
– 1. Selection
– 2. Escalation
– 3. Entry (initial)
– 4. Freefighting
– 5. Armslength fighting
– 6. Close quarters (which includes Close Quarters and very close Quarters (body on body))
– we should always know what stage we are training.
– – we should always train the earlier parts more because if you lose there, you probably won’t come back and the later parts won’t matter anyway (don’t lose your feet, keep your posture and balance – bend those knees! – , cover guard, get off his line, counterattack, keep up accurate volume out of your guard in Zone 1 – between nipples and top of head – and do all of this very fast. If attacked, you may survive one or two glancing blows, but you have to get control of the Fighting line and go from Reactor to Actor as fast as you can. Get control of that Fighting Line!)
Of all of the fighting stages (3-6) only Initial Entry is commonly a frontal or North on North attack. Other parts of the fight quickly involve turned bodies, rotation, and flanking attacks (NW, SE, etc). If (non-spastic) fighters break off in a late stage of a fight (guys don’t know how to hit at CQ and VCQ, so they like to step back to hitting distance, which is always a dangerous strategy, lotsof KOs of gusy who do that), they will typically try to enter from some other direction than your North.
– – eliminate facing up from your fighting training. Your footwork and hipwork and bodywork should be about flanking and rotation
– Movement integrates creates power and evasion. Movemetis the most important thing in fighting.
– – the most common cause of takedowns ( a real problem) is standing in front of an opponent (squaring or facing up) while not moving and throwing FOF front of fist blows. FOF is horizontal, forehand hitting. It actually drives most takedowns because it provides a safe entry space below the horizontal punching trajectories. Bending over and turning away under attack are natural respnses to FOF hitting. From that natural response the opponent often tries for an entry to takedown.The defensive answer is not to learn to sprawl (that is Reaction. Action wins. Reaction loses.) The answer is to be Active and to learn to thrown hands in trajectories that include backhand, vertical and diagonal and elliptical and all distances and angles. In short, learn to throw combos that include the many different kids of hammerfists. Take you a few months and you will get pretty good at it and wonder whay you never did it before. It is a huge discouragement to takedowns to know that you are going to get hit on the top or rear of the head.
– there are no “blocks” or parries or shit like that. That is all fantasy. The idea that you can “seeit coming” and react “in time” is utter BS. This fallacy is what is known as “diagnosis” and is the basis of just about every martial arts there is. At any realistic distance, can’t happen, won’t happen.
– The only “blocking” that works is passive or precautionary guarding, where we are generally aware that we are vulnerable in an area and that the opponenet is in a psotion to exploit that so – as a precaution – we get our guard or cover up in that area. This is good stuff and can be devleoped by trianing.
– – your best defense is movement. Movement means movement both through space around your opponent and movement of your own body (steps, weight changes, rotations above and below the waist).
– Learn to constantly move, keep trying to occupy and dominate the fighting line
– Learn to hit while moving. Movemet makes your hitting better in every way. Don’t just take up a position, screw your feet into the ground and throw hands. Learn to hit with a drop step (where one hand and one foot depart at the same time and arrive at the same time and the action finishes with your weight on your rear leg) because hti sis the most mobile kind of balanced power hitting that there is. I think I briefly demonstrate how thi s works with openhands in one of my earlier videos on youtube.
– Actor beats reactor. That is, the first one to move or to hit accurately will invariably win
– – learn to fight out of a cover guard – MMA highguard position is good but get that elbow right up and get the bicep onto the cheekbone
– remember, we never just put up a guard and that is it. The trajectoriesof our arms as they move into and out of the guard are part of the defenseive and attacking aspect s of figitng and movement
– – arm movement is part of body movement, just as if we are walking or running or jumping (this is maybe a hard one to understand without demo) Coordinate body movementa nd arm movement. The whole body must act as a unit.
– Hit on trajectories that move along or across the Fighting Line
– – always move so that your arms occupy or dominate the Fighting Line
– Your target is the opponent’s head or certain points along the chin and jaw or behind the ear
– – never hold onto someone ins fight. No clinches, underhooks or overhooks
– Learn to fight at CQ and VCQ without holding onto the opponent. I want the opponenet to try to hold me, bcs then he is not attacking my head and I know where his armns are
– When you hold someone, you are giving up your weapns
– – still, don’t let your waist be captured. To capture your waist, he must drop his arms, extend them and lower hs head. Hammerfist his head./
– Don’t try to move other people around. Move yourself around
– – learn to use use open hands, FOF and elbows at Close Quarters and Very Close Quarters (bodyon body) so that you can soconstanbtya ttack his head and neck at thse sdistances whle continuing to flank him
– -you will need VCQ and CQ fighting footwork. I will provide some ina future video.
– – most waist captures are by 3rd mnen into the fight, from behind

It is harder to enjoy them and then later you always have this nagging desire to find an even hotter one to top it. A fools errand. Just find someone you enjoy that looks good and be done with it. The best ones always had a great sense of humor above all else a a great smile.

It’s true, but it took that many to realize I should be looking for a much bigger age gap and to have the wisdom and self confidence to lead them once I found them. That is the real benefit of experience with women. I have a handful of women I get wistful over. I dodged a bullet with all of them when I think I would have lost out on my w*fe.

I was well beyond 30 and counting when I met a nice lady – 7+. Younger, and a professional. But, I thought she should lose 5-10 pounds and shoulda had bigger tits. But, how we used to laugh! Now looking back she’s the only one that I really miss.

The last paragraph is the most significant imo. The reality is we are approaching the pinnacle of the leftist hivemind state. Beta males and lefty half-men can exist in the current world by shifting their attention to more specific female populations. The two groups I mentioned are chasing after waifus from the far east as well cholitas from the central america (see Zuckerburg, Schwarzenegger, Jeb!). In some cases they just ignore their women’s sexual histories, however, the open humiliation factor is becoming unsustainable even for Betas and half-men. The river is beginning to drying up for Betas as asian women and latinas are drifting more into line with their white sisters imo. There are less and less traditional asian and latin women that modest betas can nab.
The day the normie, lefty, or beta male no longer has viable sexual options and realizes everyone woman is a blue hair fatty, megabitch femcunt, or road worn whore the show stops for civilization. These men will retract to incel status or potentially become the next Elliott Rodgers only in mass. When the sexual marketplace is no longer sustainable, then society is no longer sustainable which means an end to the civilization we have existed in. This will open the door for something to replace what has been destroyed.
Where I disagree is I don’t see a cosmic shift back to sexual market equilibrium. I see a cosmic change in the society and civilization (most likely violent) that will result in a Phoenix like rebirth of what we once had.
I could be wrong though and CH right. CH could be right just by looking at Generation Z. I live in a left coast metro region and notice the women of Generation Z are much more chaste and far less slutty and trashy. It’s almost as if they have have seen the mistakes of their mothers and sisters and fear ending up the same way. Maybe at 30 I’m just getting older so picking up 18-22 yos is harder but I genuinely notice a positive evolution in Generation Z women which may be able to correct the market. I just think its too late…
