Conan O’Brien, caught in the vapors of a major virtue signaling attack, went to Haiti for a three-day show special to troll Trump about his labeling Haiti a “shithole”, and to morally preen before his un-vast audience of soy-saturated snarklibs. What followed was an epic self-own and the germination of a new 4chan meme: #ConanHaiti featuring Conan’s coconut mug drinking face ‘shopped into photos of the real Haiti that liberal Whiteys sticking to the designated tourist area don’t (want to) see.
First, the self-ownage in the photo Conman O’Brien posted ostensibly to needle Trump and his Heritage America Army.
You’ll notice in the background that, outside of the swanky resort perimeter Conman was staying at, the hills of Haiti are completely denuded of leafy vegetation. That’s because the local shitholies burnt everything for firewood and let their pigs and goats roam free to reproduce past the ecology’s carrying capacity.
Also, that coconut he’s drinking from likely was imported from an island that still has coconut trees. And why is his hair dry? Poseur, much?
Conman was staying at the Wahoo Bay Beach Resort, a heavily guarded and patrolled tourist trap that the average Haitian would love to rob blind and machete to death the pale guests if they could get past the locked and loaded security.
He was at one of the finest resorts in Haiti, the rates for which are $254 a night, which is a very a hefty price for a country where the average person makes a little over $400 a year.
Conman’s virtue snivel was so egregious that shitlords brought the meme magic with a fury. Incoming!…

look at night time images of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico. PR is associated with the US and is a 2nd world economy ( verging on 1st ) and is entirely lit. DR is 2nd world and has quite a bit of lighting. Haiti is lit only in Port-au-Prince, otherwise it looks like North Korea.
Puerto Rico is +75% White. DR is +50% White. Haiti is <10% White. and the progression shows by numerous metrics.

Gotta sperg a little on the Haiti/DR thing: some misconceptions about race in the DR, and most of Caribbean in general. There’s almost no Amerindian component anywhere, certainly not DR. Basically all various Whites, googles and mixes thereof.
DR is basically a mulatto country with a White upper class. Haiti is basically a black country with a black & mulatto upper class. And that makes all the difference.

Heh, Funny aside. I tried googlemaps (satellite) to spot the differences. While looking, I lost track of the line google slaps on there to identify the border. I was way off, the images were loading slowly, and I expected I’d need to scroll in and out to relocate that frontier.
So I looked for the dark green instead. CH is correct, the difference is visible. DR has dark green areas with dense forests. Haiti just has “some trees”. There’s a clear difference between the two countries.

What’s really interesting is the difference in the way African slaves were treated by the French and the British. The French allowed them to retain their native languages and religions among other things.
The English (((english?))) on the other hand, divided up families, forbid African languages and religion, taught them English and forced Christianity on them as well.

Unrelated to this article, but more so in the scope of the whole #metoo thing. This pertains to the scandal surrounding Dr Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics doctor accused of abusing female gymnasts, including medallists Mackayla Maroney, Ali Raisman, and Simone Biles.
Now here’s my take. For one, I’m glad this guy actually went down, simply because of his position as a professional allowed him to indulge in his twisted perversions. With that being said, I wonder out loud. How many people actually knew? How many of the parents themselves knew about this and still entrusted their girls to this perv? How many sponsors knew? How many donors? Was USA Gymnastics treated as some sort of brothel where others got involved? And more importantly, regardless of age of consent, how many of these girls actually got “abused” and how many actually put out willingly? What’s everyone else’s take on this? I mentioned this because, just with the Weinstein scandal, I think there’s more than meets the eye.

I haven’t followed it closely but one report the gymnast claimed she was drugged. But it also sounds like they all knew and put up with it. Parents I don’t know, at that level in teenage sports the kids are often traveling and rooming with team and coaches. The parents can’t afford to go along or don’t have the time. Some of them might have known and pimping their kid for gymnastic glory was worth it for them. My daughter when a little kid did the gymnastics thing for a few months, seeing the teenagers train the case could be made that letting a girl train to that level is abuse. All of them limped with taped ankles all the time. Hormone effect of all that training has to do something some of the teenage girls had significant muscle. Arms that would look good on a guy at any age.
