You would be able to, with ease, go back to living a master-servant lifestyle. That means a vast number of personal maids, gardeners, grounds-keepers, Olympic-sized-pool cleaners, and so on — many of whom would be WHITE and ATTRACTIVE due to the general collapse of the prior First World economy. That last factor — generally white and attractive — would appeal to many, perhaps the Schwartzes among them.
Corporations, in particular, would love to defang unions once and for all and prevent their renascence. The basic point to be made is if a great is generally hated and treated with suspicion, they have DONE SOMETHING TO DESERVE IT. Instead of referring to the costs as externalities I propose that the term “Ethno-Cultural Wealth” be adopted as a defining and integral part of any nation.
The term ‘externalities’ within economics has always been a cop-out. It supposes that whatever cost is imposed exists outside and separate from the system on which it is being imposed.
The elites have sacrificed one form of long-term wealth (Ethno-Cultural) for another (Financial) that benefit only them – and only in the short-term.
It’s a zero-sum game that undermines the foundations of a stable society and couches it in feel-good propaganda to mask its corrosive effects.

Why all the smiling? Maybe the camera draws out the narcissistic sociopaths who want to be on TV, while the truly traumatized do their grieving in private. The black one opens up with “Any time, thanks for having me.” Probably not because she’s a pro crisis actor, but because she’s watched a lot of TV, and that’s what every single “guest” opens with. I’d say the two or three tears welled up in her eyes were the vestiges of humanity trying to force their way to the surface, which she stifled enough to be in TV Mode. It is clear that slavery is only profitable when the slave masters lived near an area with a basically unlimited supply of slaves that could be obtained at very little cost (e.g., ancient Egypt and throughout north Africa), making the cost of each slave next to nothing in comparison to the value that you got out of them. Many slaves were actually fed, and lived, better than many poor Whites. So, all costs of slavery were internalized by the slave owners and not passed on to society at large, instead (well, until they were freed and let loose upon us). It was a system, in the West at least, destined to naturally die out.
There was a better, more modern, profitable system on the way to help out the corrupt new slave masters –
In the northern states, the industrial revolution was getting under way in the mid-1800s, and continued unabated for 100 years. The industrialists (big and small) figured out if that if they can just bring in waves of poorly educated, desperate people (through massive immigration) into the cities and into their factories, they could get them to work in terrible conditions for very low wages And, the best part, the cost of housing them, feeding them, taking care of their medical needs, educating them, being responsible for the slums they created, etc. were not costs that these modern slave owners had to care about. Profits went through the roof! It still was basically slavery, except the slaves lived off the plantation and had to take care of themselves and their families. The rich could live far enough away, in their giant mansions, from the filth, crime and poverty in the large stinking cities that they helped create, to ever have to take any moral responsibility for it.

Heck, most companies probably don’t even expect to be around in 20 years, so they fight for the quickest shekels possible. The piss poor quality of the labor can be easily seen in the housing industry. Homes built in the early 90s are far superior to modern homes with their shitty Mexican drywall and roofing crews. The construction techniques aren’t determined by the laborers. The supervisors have the responsibility to ensure the laborers do what they’re supposed to. The builder decides on the quality standards he will maintain.
A close friend is a quality inspector for large construction projects. The stuff the contractors try to pull to cut corners is borderline criminal.

The same thing has happened and is happening in the Australian building industry. Corners are cut wherever possible and the whole thing has become a race to the bottom.
There are a number of reasons for it.
The level of consumer protection is woeful.
Residential builders can “Phoenix” their companies …. shut down, walk away and start a new company.
The level of oversight and quality control by relevant authorities is severely lacking.
I could go on.
In Melbourne, Australia we have had multi-story apartment buildings built with cheap, flammable cladding. It was brought to light when the outside of one apartment building went up in flames…

American industrialists did pretty much the same at the time, the incoming supply of workers from Ireland, South- and Eastern Europe cared for a constant stream of competitors and strikebreakers. The emerging labour movement opposed this move strongly, but quality press’ paid scribes would denounce this as ‘nativism’ at the behest of their owners, workers and unions were labelled as xenophobic, supposedly unwilling to share their country’s resources with the newcomers to increase the common weal.
