A big reason why we have an epidemic of overeducated women tragically delaying marriage and childbirth until it’s too late is because of the reality of female hypergamy. When women gain economic, occupational and social status, their mate criteria rise commensurate to the rise in their self-perceived (or more precisely, their self-wished) SMV. The tragedy is that their high SMV left them in their youth.
Female hypergamy, economic empowerment, credentialism, and psychological projection are a toxic anti-natal stew.
That final line would be a great bumper sticker, or t shirt. Perhaps accompanied by a smiling baby picture… the infant they will never birth.

I suspect beta / soyboy behavior among males is an important factor in the hypergamy equation. Less alpha in the men means their hypergamy runs rampant.

The reality is worse, merely not being a soyboy won’t cut it. You have to realize that in a place like NYC/LA/SF, mediocre girls can go on Tinder or to the bar and get banged out by Chad whenever they want, and in their corporate jobs will regularly interact with high-status men. It got to the point where I could expect that a girl I’d meet:
– Had a double digit N count, possibly mid or high double digit.
– Had banged at least several guys hotter than me.
– Had at least one ex-bf who was a jerkboy/sociopath/dirtbag who gave her more tingles than I ever could.
– Had at least one “rape”/#MeToo sob story.
– Had FB pics from years ago where she was 2+ points hotter, when all this was going on.
– Had male colleagues/clients who were more professionally successful and had better game than me.
– Had a bigger Netflix and wine and dog habit than gym or cooking or creative habit, i.e., no interest in bringing anything to the table.
– Thought I was a loser unless I put on my best clown game and/or was a couple SMV points higher.
Deurbanization + regulate social media + patriarchy now.

I think soy milk is just part of the explanation. The other part is just older women living vicariously through their daughters, letting them dress and act like sluts while pulling the whole “but, but, SHE’S JUST A CHILD YOU SICK PERVERT!” when shit hits the fan. I’m actually convinced, and if we take as an example how Germans and Swedes are letting hajjis deflower the local teen girl populations, that if it was for them, these women would pimp out their daughters if given the chance. And they say men are the exploiters.

Seems like 9 times out of 10 there’s a headline “Teacher caught fucking student” its some young, often decently attractive woman. Only the occasional skeezy male gym teacher with a webcam in the girls’ locker room ceiling tiles lately it seems.
Every other time they bust a CP ring there’s at least one woman in the mix, often the ringleader. When she gets too fat to spread ’em on the webcam for Amazon gift cards she ropes her kid daughter in.

There’s also a chicken and egg problem here:
1. did men weaken first, with women choosing revolt instead of submission to inferior men?
2. did women revolt first, with men then kowtowing to women, leading to more revolt?
I lean to #1 since falling sperm counts (from soy, deodorants, natural selection, whatever) indicate men are less masculine objectively than in the past.
It’s also possible we have a mix of the two where there was a drop in the masculinity of men leading to revolt, which liberal men are currently trying to pacify with concessions (Me Too, Times Up, equal pay, etc).

CH was an earlier convert to HBD Chickism than I, but it’s worth noting that, by this theory, the West was a set-up for the fertility-destroying effects of feminism.
First we got enforced outbreeding, which evolved to outbreeding-by-custom, which meant lower rates of clannishness and arranged marriage compared to the rest of the world, which led to lower ‘nuptiality’ (what the Hajnal line actually measures: later female age-at-marriage and a higher spinster rate) than the rest of the world. Then the low clannishness led to the trust-in-comparative-strangers that is the basis of Western success, which lead to runaway universalism with all its levelling, including feminism. Then the feminism circled back on already low nuptiality and we got the current situation: age-at-marriage and spinster rates so bad they’re incompatible with White fertility higher than 1.2.
Fielding’s Law: Female hypergamy means that women will not breed at above-replacement levels without coercion. That coercion is called patriarchy.

I’m contracting in a place that is swarming with superannuated cat ladies. For some of them I think hypergamy was something like playing blackjack. No guy is good enough, no guy is good enough, no guy is good enough … so just keep on taking cards until you get to 21. But they went bust instead.

Since I didn’t get to comment on the Resting Bitch Face article from yesterday, and since it relates to this article, I’m going to dig in.
One of the commenters in that article mentioned the woman in the picture looked tired. I’ll say it’s not much tired as much as disappointed. Disappointed because she wanted it all and in the end she gets nothing but a giant void. And even in the rare eventuality that she has a child, it’s not a guarantee that she’ll love it. She might dispose of it, just like she disposed of that old Gucci bag or that yoga mat after doing yoga becomes SOO 2010s.
Compare that to the old school grannies, babushkas, yiayias, and abuelitas. They might look worn out, with their stooped backs, their gray hair, their wrinkled skin, and their not as sharp memory. But if anything, these women never tire of having their grandchildren over. They never tire of giving love, cooking, baking, knitting, and holding their baby grandchildren.
Just today, I had a phone conversation with my own mother, who has more than a dozen grandchildren and six great grandchildren (and I’m still hoping to give her a few grandchildren of my own). Turns out my older brother got divorced last year and him and one of his kids,a 15 year old young man, moved in with her. Today, said nephew accompanied his grandma to do some grocery shopping and have some lunch, the highlight being him taking his first ride in a public bus. She told me both had a great time. I’m certain my mother wouldn’t trade these simple but meaningful moments for all the college degrees, material stuff, and validation in the world. Especially since my nephew took my brother’s divorce quite hard to the point he has harbored resentment towards his mother, so having his grandma near him has helped him quite a bit.

Working in a number of different sectors & also within my social group, I noticed a difference between the career women depending on their field. Those who worked in the mercantile sectors like law, property, accounting, finance, administration, project mgrs, were more into hypergamy and complaining about men than the women I knew who were in STEM like the coders, cad designers, geologists and engineers. Also the years when I was a skinny beta dude, I noticed it was much easier to chat up blue collar lasses than it was white collar ones with a degree.
