My site is sucks but it’s the least I could do to prove the legitimacy of the below.
Inspired by the writings here at the last bastion, as well as LIFE ITSELF and MUH DICK…I’ve done some shit. Some good, some bad, some epic, but that’s for another time.
Point is, the MAGA challenge inspired me to write in the following anecdote. I’m a dude that pissed the urban shithole behind, as a next level step towards the ever-deepening and symbolic, as well as actual, unplugging:

Ten years ago, my father got sick. Major heart issue (he is not fat by any standard) that took all his life to manifest. When that happened, I forgot game. It was three intense months and he’s still with us. Thank the lord and bless all you with love that have lost their fathers.
But it was close. And it hurt. We cherish that pain and life every day, and text and talk often, and all is well. And I transformed afterwards (hi2u ex gf that I said ‘you aren’t being helpful’ after her tantrum and hung up during the whole ordeal).
This story isn’t even about him.
It’s about the homeless guy that I saw when I went back to the city a month ago.
Amidst an affluent, coastal town. Outside and In&Out, actually. Suburbanites everywhere.
There was one homeless. Looked coked out. He left quickly.
Another man came by. He had a sign. Heart problems, please help, lost job, anything helps.
Went over, and asked him name. We started talking and he had the exact same issue as my father. I gave him all the money I had on me, and we talked for a good twenty minutes.
Everyone at the Shit&Out (god bless them though) was looking, in awe/wonder/jealous/tingles/whatevers.
“WHAT WOULD THE HEARTISTE DO,” I asked myself just now as I write this. I didn’t even think when I did. I just went over to the patio of the fast food and looked every single one of those normie fucking faggotBitchSluts in the eye and commanded an excuse me.
Maybe 30 people on the patio? Doesn’t matter, everyone was looking. I introduced Dave (from a distance) and told his story.
I told them I know each and every one of them is affluent, and driving nice cars, and I saw them driving them. And that it doesn’t matter what you think, or whatever, that you need to support your fellow countryman.
I said we don’t need more people, we need to take care of each other. That man is Dave and he had the same heart issue as my father but fortunately my father worked hard and planned and was able to help himself.
Help him out, he’s a good man, thank you for your time. Stood for a moment and a few MAGA dudes (I think) clapped me out.
The women/moms were tingling just cause big young guy coming up.
The younger tweens were in typical man-founded give me D look.
The maga dudes were just leaning back respectfully (as clap showed later)
The young boys were in awe.
Best part….
The manlet husb-ginas had a grimace of pain and a similar look at the teens, with a mirror of contrast reflecting what they will never do.
MAGA my brother. Had to channel my tears but when men contain and channel those emotional uprising into BEAUTY and GOODNESS, then, as you said, the world can change.

I know. They congregate out by the Hyatt on Peach Tree Plaza. Panhandlers ruin the nation but the nation creates them too with its bad business policies. I think this case was different and I generally don’t help out panhandlers myself. I saw this as an opportunity to lecture leftoids about their virtue and highlighting their hypocrisy. Most panhandlers don’t have a very effective life sob story they could go about for several minutes. That is why I think he might have been sincere.

Disagree- and this post hits a nerve of my biggest (non-broad related) pet peeve: virtue sniveling.
I have no issue with his giving to the poor. I think that can be a great thing to do. But you don’t have any right to interrupt my day, my meal, my anything to demand I subscribe to your idea of morality. Rather, you do have the right to ask, and I have an equal right to tell you to f-off.
I also drive a nice car and live in a nice place. I worked for it. I never asked for any charity, and I never got any. Maybe I don’t feel like giving something that day. F-You. Anything less is the basis of socialism and everything MAGA stands against.
Reminds me of a guy I used to work with in my early 20s (who was a complete loser with women.) Mid 40s, no kids of his own. He would circulate an email telling us we should give to this children’s charity. Then he’d go on for half a page talking about what a wonderful guy he is because he has a “soft spot” for kids.
You want to give to a bum, charity, dog shelter, save the whales? Great. I support that. STFU and do it. And STFU about it.

He made sure to catalogue the whole incident, sparing no shortage of poetic license complete with applause from “MAGA Men” and women throwing their panties at him. Have to agree with my man Carlos, here. If this were 1950s (or better yet 1850s) America and everyone was united and, more or less, on the same page politically, and decent, upstanding Christian folk, then no, generally this behaviour would be inappropriate (though I don’t see how exhorting your fellow Christians to help a neighbour who’s down on his luck would be too gauche), but it’s not.

Given that locale and the fact that that homeless man had the same issues are the OP’s father, what the OP did was to get everyone to wake up.
In a way, he was professing, witnessing before everyone about helping out, lending a hand, sparing 5 minutes to talk to someone who’s way less fortunate than you.
This wasn’t to gloat or make himself stand out.

I was hungover at an airport coming back from a trip to Miami in 2010 when 2 doctors without borders started a conversation with me about their work in Haiti after the earthquake. They were visibly shaken by what they saw and clearly just needed to share it with someone. They weren’t looking for praise. They wanted to unburden themselves. Those were good people doing a good thing (even if it was for the benefit of blackies.) This guy isn’t, even though he helps out a White guy.

Those of you quoting scripture to pat this “MAGA” guy on the back are forgetting that, in the time of Jesus Christ, there was no welfare state, no soup kitchens, no halfway houses, not even a Church to run any of these things, and so any person who was truly poor, especially if it was because he was crippled or some such thing, would quite literally starve to death without help. Under conditions like that, of course it was the most moral course of action to at least pass them a few alms.
Today’s homeless, at least in the USA, are not anything like that. I can speak from personal experience. At least half of them CHOOSE this life. A good percentage are in that life because they won’t give up their drug habit, or have fried their brains after years of it. And the worst of it is, that as long as there are people who give them money in their misguided desire to do good, these people will never have any motivation to change their circumstances.
In other words, when you give the majority of the beggars money, you are contributing to and enabling their descent into worthlessness, and that is certainly not the Biblical intent.

I was once out drinking with friends in a Florida city and a young White dude panhandled us as we walked by, saying he’s a veteran. I was in a very good mood and was curious why such a young and clean-cut kid is homeless. I was also interested in his service, myself being a vet.
So, with full intention of giving him a few dollars and as my buds waited for me, I told him that I also served in the Army and started asking him about his service — questions equivalent to “what’s your major” in college, with a few common jargon words like “MOS” thrown in. Just trying to connect with him in that level in a friendly tone.
But I guess he thought I was questioning the authenticity of his service (I wasn’t), and he unexpectedly spazzed out: “OK You win! I am not a veteran! fuck it! damn it! I was just pretending because I need the money!”
I still gave him a couple of dollars. Hope he’s doing OK.

My go to probe is to ask them if they remember the 5 points of contact for a PLF (This only applies to those dudes claiming some sort of elite unit status). If they say ‘What’s a PLF’, or they can’t immediately spit the answer out, I know they are utterly full of shit. I remember a newspaper article that interviewed a few, and on average they made $15k tax free. That was back in 1990. It’s a lot more now.

He did the right thing, bravo to him. This post made me cry. I lost my wonderful father very recent.
So much of the time we focus on the people who are suffering far away (and that is tragic also) but, we do so sometimes and even neglect the people who need help in our own community. Some years before, an old man, he was sweet and kind. I used to visit the same tavern as he did, he would approach me every time and flatter me and flirt in such a way that only charming wise old men can. Many people did not want to be close to him because his cough was very bad, he would sit with whiskey alone and many times i invited him to join us in our table. He was a pleasure to be next to. Every week i was happy to see him, i learnd he had no family, just a dog. But always he was with a smile. So, i did not go for some months and then when i went in the tavern i asked where the gentleman was. I was told he had died from lung cancer. He had knew for some time he had it but did not tell me. He was just enjoying his last days. I was sad and reflected on how many treated him like a lepor becaise of his bad cough, i was angry. I wished to have known it that he was dying so i could have been next to him, but his memory is in my heart. My point I am making is – this man was neglected in his own community. Had every person took 20 minutes of theyre time, like the man in the article did,, it would have made a world of difference.
We pass by people and neglect them, especially this kind of rich, egoist people who think they are better than helping someone who disgusts then, but they pretend to care about the people far away.
I am glad the man in the posts father is well. Nothing could have prepared me to lose my father, i am only thankful that i was with him right to the second of his last breath. It has been some months but the feeling is raw and painful. And for each person who was good with my father in his last months (from help with me sitting him, to just smiles and kind words. Or 20 minutes conversation. ) i thank God for that.
