I would say that the gravity of the sin depends on how, when and why she does the abortion. Taking abortion pills just before getting into the first month of pregnancy after being pressured by your bf and your whole family is radically different from finding out later in the road that you got preggers and decided to abort after the first semester, when there’s already a fetus with a brain instead of a mass of cells. That’s where I draw the line, at least. I can’t say for sure If such a thing as a soul exists, or at which point of concepcion does it come into existance. It’s a very scabrous topic, no doubt about it.
However, forcing a genuinely good girl to abort against her will is utterly unforgivable. I’m sure CO will agree with me on this one.
